USER MANUAL

1.Introduction

To all residents of the European Union

Important environmental information about this product

This symbol on the device or the package indicates that disposal of the device after its lifecycle could harm the environment. Do not dispose of the unit (or batteries) as unsorted municipal

2.Safety Instructions

Keep this device away from children and unauthorized users.

Indoor use only. Keep this device away from rain, moisture, splashing and dripping liquids. Never put objects filled with liquids on top of or close to the device.

Always disconnect mains power when device not in use or when servicing or maintenance activities are performed. Handle the power cord by the plug only.

•Select a location where the device is protected against extreme temperatures, away from heating devices.

•Do not crimp the power cord and protect it against damage. Have an authorised dealer replace it if necessary.

•Damage caused by user modifications or disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the warranty and the dealer will not accept responsibility for any ensuing injuries, defects or problems.

•Do not switch the device on immediately after it has been exposed to changes in temperature. Protect the device against damage by leaving it switched off until it has reached room temperature.

•Never cover or obstruct cooling slots; this may cause overheating.

•The device left the factory in a technically safe condition. To maintain this condition and to ensure safe operation, it is essential for the user to observe the safety instructions and warning notes contained in this manual.

•This device falls under protection class I. It is therefore essential that the device be earthed.

•It is not recommended to wear conductive metal jewellery (rings, bracelets etc.) while operating power supplies.

•Do not leave power supplies and loads switched on without supervision.

•Make sure the power supply outputs, contact points and power leads are undamaged and sufficiently insulated.

•Do not continue to use the device and have it repaired when it looks damaged or does not work normally.

3.	General Guidelines
•	Do not shake the device. Avoid brute force when installing or operating the device.
•	Only use the device for its intended purpose. All other uses may lead to short circuits, burns,
	electroshocks, crash, etc. Using the device in an unauthorised way will void the warranty.

5.Operation

Refer to the illustrations on page 2 of this manual.

•When the current limiter indicator [11] lights up, the load is drawing too much current. Reduce the load.

•The values given by the current and voltage displays [3 & 4] are indicative. For accurate readout please use a calibrated external meter.

0 – 30 V output

1.Set the voltage knob [9] to the required voltage and the current knob [10] fully counterclockwise.

2.Switch the power supply on by means of the power button [7] and connect the load.

3.Turn the current knob [10] clockwise to the required current.

12 V/1 A and 5 V/1 A outputs

These outputs have a fixed voltage and maximum current output; no further adjustment is necessary.

6. Fuse

• Replace a defective fuse only with a fuse of the same type and rating (see Technical Specifications).

• In case of a blown fuse: the fuse holder is located at the back of the device. Open it with a screwdriver, replace the fuse and screw the fuse holder back into place.

GEBRUIKERSHANDLEIDING

1.Inleiding

Aan alle ingezetenen van de Europese Unie Belangrijke milieu-informatie betreffende dit product

Dit symbool op het toestel of de verpakking geeft aan dat, als het na zijn levenscyclus wordt weggeworpen, dit toestel schade kan toebrengen aan het milieu. Gooi dit toestel (en eventuele

batterijen) niet bij het gewone huishoudelijke afval; het moet bij een gespecialiseerd bedrijf

terechtkomen voor recyclage. U moet dit toestel naar uw verdeler of naar een lokaal recyclagepunt brengen. Respecteer de plaatselijke milieuwetgeving.

Hebt u vragen, contacteer dan de plaatselijke autoriteiten betreffende de verwijdering.

Dank u voor uw aankoop! Lees deze handleiding grondig voor u het toestel in gebruik neemt. Werd het toestel beschadigd tijdens het transport, installeer het dan niet en raadpleeg uw dealer.

2.Veiligheidsinstructies

Houd dit toestel buiten het bereik van kinderen en onbevoegden.

Gebruik het toestel enkel binnenshuis. Bescherm het toestel tegen regen, vochtigheid

en opspattende vloeistoffen. Plaats geen objecten gevuld met vloeistof op of naast het toestel.

Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact voordat u het toestel reinigt of als u het niet gebruikt. Houd de voedingskabel altijd vast bij de stekker en niet bij de kabel.

•Bescherm dit toestel tegen extreme temperaturen en plaats het niet vlakbij verwarmingstoestellen.

•Zorg ervoor dat het stroomsnoer niet gekneld of geplooid is en bescherm het tegen beschadiging. Laat uw dealer zo nodig een nieuwe kabel plaatsen.

•De garantie geldt niet voor schade door gebruikerswijzigingen of het negeren van richtlijnen in deze

handleiding en uw dealer zal de verantwoordelijkheid afwijzen voor defecten of problemen die hier verband mee houden.

•Het is beter om het toestel niet onmiddellijk in te schakelen nadat het werd blootgesteld aan temperatuurschommelingen. Om beschadiging te vermijden, moet u wachten tot het toestel kamertemperatuur heeft bereikt.

•Bedek of blokkeer de ventilatieopeningen niet; dit kan leiden tot oververhitting.

•Het toestel wordt geleverd in een technisch veilige staat. Om deze staat te handhaven en een veilig gebruik te garanderen, dient de gebruiker de veiligheidsinstructies en waarschuwingen in deze handleiding te respecteren.

•Dit toestel valt onder beschermingsklasse I. Het toestel moet dus geaard zijn.

•Het is niet raadzaam geleidende metalen sieraden (ringen, armbanden...) te dragen als u met een voeding werkt.

•Laat geen voedingen en belastingen aanliggen terwijl er niemand in de buurt is.

•Zorg dat de uitgangen, contactpunten en kabels van de voeding niet beschadigd en voldoende geïsoleerd zijn.

•Gebruik het toestel niet en laat het nakijken als het er beschadigd uitziet of niet normaal werkt.

3.Algemene richtlijnen

•Schud het toestel niet. Vermijd brute kracht tijdens de installatie of de bediening van het toestel.

•Gebruik het toestel enkel waarvoor het gemaakt is. Andere toepassingen kunnen leiden tot kortsluitingen, brandwonden, elektrische schokken, enz. De garantie vervalt automatisch bij ongeoorloofd gebruik.

5.Gebruik

Raadpleeg de afbeeldingen op pagina 2 van deze handleiding.

•Als de indicator van de stroombegrenzer [11] oplicht, vraagt de belasting te veel stroom. Verminder de belasting.

•De waarden die worden aangegeven op de spanningen stroomuitlezing [3 & 4] zijn indicatief. Voor nauwkeurige uitlezingen gebruikt u best een gekalibreerde externe meter.

0 - 30 V uitgang

1.Zet de spanningsregeling [9] op de gewenste spanning en draai de stroomregeling [10] volledig in tegenwijzerzin.

2.Zet de voeding aan door middel van de aan/uit-schakelaar [7] en sluit de belasting aan.

3.Draai de stroomregeling [10] in wijzerzin tot op de gewenste stroom.

12 V/1 A en 5 V/1 A uitgangen

Deze uitgangen hebben een vaste spanning en maximum stroomuitgang; ze hoeven niet te worden bijgeregeld.

6. Zekering

• Vervang een gesprongen zekering door een zekering van hetzelfde type en met dezelfde specificaties (zie "Technische specificaties”).

• Bij een gesprongen zekering: de zekeringhouder bevindt zich achteraan het toestel. Open deze met een schroevendraaier, vervang de zekering en schroef de zekeringhouder terug op zijn plaats.
