5. Use
a. Preparation
•Open the battery compartment at the back of your scales and insert bo th batteries. Mind the polarity. Make sure the cover is placed on the scales.
WARNING: handle batteries with care, observe warnings on battery casing. Dispose of b atteries in accordance with local regulations. Keep batteries away from children.
b.Calibration
•Remove t he lid and press the ON / TARE button. The VTBAL22 will display “0.0” and “g” meaning the weighing unit is gra ms. If not, press the CAL / MODE button until it does.
•Hold the CAL / MODE button pressed (±3s) until “CAL” appears on the displa y. Release the CAL / M ODE button.
•Press CAL / MODE button again, “CAL” will flash, followed by the standard calibration weight (20g, 40g or 100g).

•Place the indicated standard calibration weight onto the weighing platform.
•Wait a couple of seconds until “PASS” is displayed. The scales are now calibrated and ready for use.
c. Other Functions
•Press the CAL / MODE button to choose the weighing unit: g (grams), oz (ounces), ozt (troy ounces), dwt (pennyweight), ct (carats), grain and tl (tael).
•“LO ”: low battery indication. Replace the batteries with of the same type and specifications.
•“O Ld”: weight overload.
6. Cleaning
• Do not use abrasive solutions or solvents e.g. benzene. Only use clean water.
• Do not submerge the scale in water or any other liquid.

•Leer eerst de functies van het toestel kennen voor u het gaat gebruiken.
•Om veiligheidsredenen mag u geen wijzigingen aanbren gen. Schade door wijzigingen die de gebruiker heeft aangebracht valt niet onder de garantie.
•Gebruik het toestel enkel waarvoo r het gemaakt is. Bij onoordeelkundig gebruik vervalt de garantie.
•De garantie geldt niet voor schade door het negeren van bepaalde richtlijnen in deze handleiding en uw dealer zal de
verantwoor delijkheid afwijzen voo r defecten of problemen die hier rechtstreeks verband mee houden.

5.Gebruik
a. Voorbereiding
•Open het batterijvak onderaan het toestel en plaats b eide batterijen. Let op de polariteit. Zorg ervoor dat u de batterijen plaatst of vervangt met het deksel op de weegschaal.
LET OP : Volg de richtlijnen op de verpakking van d e batterijen. Houd de batterij en buiten bereik van kinderen.
b.IJking
•Verwijder het deksel en druk op ON / TARE. De VTBA L22 geeft “0.0” en “g” weer (weegeenheid in gram). Zo niet, druk op CAL / MODE tot “g” weergegeven wordt.
•Houd CAL / MODE ingedrukt (±3s) tot “CAL” op de display verschijnt.
•Druk opnieuw op CAL/MODE. “CAL” knippert waarna het ijkinggewicht (20g, 40g of 100g) verschijnt.
•Plaats het aangegeven ijkingge wicht op het weegplatform.

•Wacht enkele seconden tot “PASS” verschijnt. De weegschaal is nu geijkt en klaar voor gebruik.
c. Andere functies
•Druk op CAL / MODE en kies de eenheid: g (gram), oz (ons) , ozt (troy ounces), dwt (pennyweight), ct (karaat), grain en tl (tael).
•“LO ”: aanduiding zwakke batterij. Vervang de batterijen door batterijen van hetzelfde type.
•“O Ld”: overgewicht.
6. Onderhoud
• Maak de weeghaak geregeld schoon met zuiver water. Gebruik geen schuurmiddelen of solventen.
• Dompel de weeghaak nooit in water of een andere vloeistof.
