1.Introduction

This symbol on the device or the package indicates that disposal of the device after its lifecycle could harm the environment. Do not dispose of the unit (or batteries) as unsorted municipal waste; it should be taken to a specialized company for recycling. This device should be returned to your distributor or to a local recycling service. Respect the local environmental rules.
If in doubt, contact your local waste disposal authorities.

2.Safety Instructions
Keep the device away from children and unauthorised users.
Indoor use only. Keep this device away from rain, moisture, splashing and dripping liquids.
Do not use the luminaire with a cracked or broken protective shield. Disconnect immediately from the mains. Replace the protective shield immediately.
Always disconnect mains power when the device is not in use or when servicing or maintenance activities are performed. Handle the power cord by the plug only.
Warning: If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, his service agent, or a similar qualified person in order to avoid any hazard.
There are no user-serviceable parts inside the device. Refer to an authorized dealer for service and/or spare parts.
Not suitable for mounting on tubular material.
3.General Guidelines
Refer to the Velleman® Service and Quality Warranty on the last pages of this manual.
Keep this device away from dust and extreme heat.
Protect this device from shocks and abuse. Avoid brute force when operating the device.
Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device before actually using it.
All modifications of the device are forbidden for safety reasons. Damage caused by user modifications to the device is not covered by the warranty.
Only use the device for its intended purpose. Using the device in an unauthorised way will void the warranty.
Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the warranty and the dealer will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.

5.Replacing the Lamp
1.Unplug the device and let the lamp cool down before replacing it.
2.Remove the 10 screws that hold the grille in place and gently remove the grille.
3.Carefully turn the defective lamp(s) to take them out of the starter. Remove the lamp(s).
4.Install the new lamp(s) (order code LAMP14) by connecting them to the starter.
5.Place the grille back and fasten its screws.
Caution: If the cover is damaged, disconnect the lamp immediately from the mains. Do not use the lamp with a cracked or broken cover. Replace the cover immediately (order code VTLAMP6/SP1).

GEBRUIKERSHANDLEIDING
1.Inleiding
Aan alle ingezetenen van de Europese Unie Belangrijke milieu-informatie betreffende dit product
Dit symbool op het toestel of de verpakking geeft aan dat, als het na zijn levenscyclus wordt weggeworpen, dit toestel schade kan toebrengen aan het milieu. Gooi dit toestel (en eventuele batterijen) niet bij het gewone huishoudelijke afval; het moet bij een gespecialiseerd bedrijf terechtkomen voor recyclage. U moet dit toestel naar uw verdeler of naar een lokaal recyclagepunt brengen. Respecteer de plaatselijke milieuwetgeving.
Hebt u vragen, contacteer dan de plaatselijke autoriteiten betreffende de verwijdering.
Dank u voor uw aankoop! Lees deze handleiding grondig voor u het toestel in gebruik neemt. Werd het toestel beschadigd tijdens het transport, installeer het dan niet en raadpleeg uw dealer.
2.Veiligheidsinstructies
Houd dit toestel uit de buurt van kinderen en onbevoegden.
Gebruik het toestel enkel binnenshuis. Bescherm het toestel tegen regen, vochtigheid en opspattende vloeistoffen.
Gebruik de lamp niet indien de beschermplaat gebarsten of gebroken is. Ontkoppel het toestel onmiddellijk. Vervang de beschermplaat onmiddellijk.
Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact wanneer het toestel niet in gebruik is of voordat u het toestel reinigt. Houd de voedingskabel altijd vast bij de stekker en niet bij de kabel.
Waarschuwing: Als de voedingskabel beschadigd is, moet deze door de fabrikant, technische dienst, of een andere bevoegde persoon vervangen worden om elk mogelijk risico te vermijden.
Er zijn geen door de gebruiker vervangbare onderdelen in dit toestel. Voor onderhoud en/of reserveonderdelen, contacteer uw dealer.
Niet geschikt voor montage op buizen.
3.Algemene richtlijnen
Raadpleeg de Velleman® serviceen kwaliteitsgarantie achteraan deze handleiding.
Bescherm dit toestel tegen stof en extreme hitte.
Bescherm het toestel tegen schokken. Vermijd brute kracht tijdens de bediening van het toestel.
Leer eerst de functies van het toestel kennen voor u het gaat gebruiken.
Om veiligheidsredenen mag u geen wijzigingen aanbrengen aan het toestel. Schade door wijzigingen die de gebruiker heeft aangebracht aan het toestel valt niet onder de garantie.
Gebruik het toestel enkel waarvoor het gemaakt is. Bij onoordeelkundig gebruik vervalt de garantie.
De garantie geldt niet voor schade door het negeren van bepaalde richtlijnen in deze handleiding en uw dealer zal de verantwoordelijkheid afwijzen voor defecten of problemen die hier rechtstreeks verband mee houden.

5.De lamp vervangen
1.Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact en laat de lamp afkoelen voor u ze gaat vervangen.
2.Draai de 10 schroeven van het rooster los en verwijder deze.
3.Draai voorzichtig de defecte lamp(en) uit de starter en verwijder ze. Verwijder de lamp(en).
4.Draai de nieuwe lamp(en) (bestelcode LAMP14) in de starter.
5.Plaats het rooster terug en draai de schroeven vast.
Opgelet: Indien de kap beschadigd is, dient u de stekker onmiddellijk uit het stopcontact te trekken. Gebruik de lamp niet indien de kap gebarsten of gebroken is. Vervang de kap onmiddellijk (bestelcode VTLAMP6/SP1).

2.Consignes de sécurité
Garder l'appareil hors de la portée des enfants et des personnes non autorisées.
Utiliser cet appareil uniquement à l'intérieur. Protéger de la pluie, de l’humidité et des projections d’eau.
Ne pas utiliser la lampe si la plaque de protection est fissurée ou cassée. Déconnecter immédiatement l'appareil du réseau électrique. Remplacer immédiatement la plaque de protection.
Toujours déconnecter l'appareil lorsque l'appareil n'est pas utilisé ou avant de le nettoyer. Tirer sur la fiche pour débrancher l'appareil ; non pas sur le câble.
Avertissement : Si le câble d'alimentation est endommagé, il doit être remplacé par le fabricant, son service technique out toute autre personne qualifiée pour éviter tout risque.
L'appareil ne contient aucune pièce réparable par l'utilisateur. Commander des pièces de rechange éventuelles chez votre revendeur.
Ne convient pas à un montage sur support tubulaire.
