In diesem Kapitel erhalten Sie wichtige Sicherheitshinweise im Umgang mit dem Gerät.
Dieses Gerät entspricht den vorgeschriebenen Sicherheitsbestimmungen.
Ein unsachgemäßer Gebrauch kann zu Personen- und Sachschäden führen.
Gefahr durch elektrischen Strom
GEFAHR
Lebensgefahr durch elektrischen Strom!
Beim Kontakt mit unter Spannung stehenden Leitungen oder
Bauteilen besteht Lebensgefahr!
Beachten Sie die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise, um eine Gefährdung durch
elektrischen Strom zu vermeiden:
► Die elektrische Installation darf nur durch eine autorisierte Elektrofachkraft
erfolgen.
► Bei der Montage sind die entsprechenden Normen anzuwenden.
► Schalten Sie vor der Montage / Installation den Stromkreis ab.
Grundlegende Sicherheitshinweise
Beachten Sie für einen sicheren Umgang mit dem Gerät die folgenden
Sicherheitshinweise:
■ Kontrollieren Sie das Gerät vor der Verwendung auf äußere sichtbare Schäden.
Nehmen Sie ein beschädigtes Gerät nicht in Betrieb. Es besteht Stromschlaggefahr.
■ Eine zerbrochene Schutzscheibe muss vor der weiteren
Benutzung ersetzt werden. Es besteht Verletzungsgefahr.
■ Lassen Sie Reparaturen am Gerät nur von autorisierten Fachbetrieben oder dem
Kundenservice durchführen. Durch unsachgemäße Reparaturen können erhebliche
Gefahren für den Benutzer entstehen. Zudem erlischt der Garantieanspruch.
■ Bei Beschädigung der Kabel oder Anschlüsse lassen Sie diese von autorisiertem
Fachpersonal oder dem Kundenservice austauschen, um Gefährdungen zu
vermeiden.
■ Halten Sie ausreichend Abstand zur beleuchteten Fläche
(mindestens 1 m), da sonst durch die Wärmeentwicklung
Brandgefahr besteht.
■ Das Gerät ist zur Montage auf normal entfl ammbaren
Untergründen geeignet.

■ Defekte Bauteile dürfen nur gegen Original-Ersatzteile ausgetauscht werden.
Nur bei diesen Teilen ist gewährleistet, dass sie die Sicherheitsanforderungen
erfüllen werden.
■ Vor einem Leuchtmittelwechsel und der Reinigung muss der Stromkreis
abgeschaltet werden. Es besteht Stromschlaggefahr.
■ Es dürfen nur Leuchtmittel gemäß den technischen Daten verwendet werden.
Nicht geeignete Leuchtmittel können einen Kurzschluss verursachen und dadurch das Gerät dauerhaft beschädigen.
■ Wechseln Sie defekte Leuchtmittel sofort aus. Defekte Leuchtmittel können einen

■ Benutzen Sie die Leuchte niemals mit einer fehlerhaften Anschlussleitung. Es
besteht Stromschlaggefahr.
■ Dieses Gerät ist nicht dafür bestimmt, durch Personen (einschließlich Kinder)
mit eingeschränkten physischen, sensorischen oder geistigen Fähigkeiten oder
mangels Erfahrung und/oder mangels Wissen benutzt zu werden, es sei denn,
sie werden durch eine für ihre Sicherheit zuständige Person beaufsichtigt oder
erhielten von ihr Anweisungen, wie das Gerät zu benutzen ist.
■ Kinder sollten beaufsichtigt werden, um sicherzustellen, dass sie nicht mit dem
Gerät spielen.

► Prüfen Sie die Lieferung auf Vollständigkeit und auf sichtbare Schäden.
► Bei einer unvollständigen Lieferung oder Schäden infolge mangelhafter
Verpackung oder durch Transport wenden Sie sich an die Service-Hotline
(siehe Kapitel Service).
► Das Leuchtmittel ist bei Auslieferung in einer separaten Verpackung im
Halogenstrahler eingelegt. Um das Leuchtmittel richtig einzusetzen, siehe
Kapitel Leuchtmittel wechseln.

Das Gerät kann im Innen- oder überdachten Außenbereich montiert werden.
GEFAHR
► Halten Sie ausreichend Abstand zur beleuchteten Fläche (mindestens 1 m),
da sonst durch die Wärmeentwicklung Brandgefahr besteht..
Der Bewegungsmelder
ausgerichtet werden und hat einen Erfassungsbereich von max. 120°.
Die Reichweite ist von ca. 5 – 12 m einstellbar.
Achten Sie bei der Wahl des Installationsortes darauf, dass im Erfassungsbereich
keine unerwünschten Ereignisse, wie z.B. von Straßen oder Leuchten, erfasst werden.

Montage
GEFAHR

► Die elektrische Installation darf nur durch eine autorisierte Elektrofachkraft
erfolgen.
► Bei der Montage sind die entsprechenden Normen anzuwenden.
► Schalten Sie vor der Montage / Installation den Stromkreis ab.
WARNUNG
► Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie beim Bohren keine Leitungen in der Wand
bzw. Decke beschädigen.
► Die mitgelieferten Dübel sind nur für die Befestigung in Beton oder Stein
geeignet. Bitte prüfen Sie unbedingt vor der Montage Ihren Montageort
auf Eignung für die Dübel. Ziehen Sie im Zweifelsfall einen Fachmann hinzu.
HINWEIS
►
Der Haltebügel 5 kann für eine einfachere Montage vom Gerät
abgeschraubt werden.
♦ Bohren Sie in einem Abstand von 52 mm zwei Löcher mit 6 mm Durchmesser
und ca. 30 mm Tiefe.
♦ Stecken Sie zwei Dübel in die Löcher und schrauben Sie das Gerät mit dem
Haltebügel 5 an die Decke bzw. Wand (siehe Abb. Deckenmontage /
Wandmontage).

Elektrischer Anschluss
WARNUNG
Diese Gerät entspricht der Schutzklasse I.
► Der Schutzleiter (grün/gelbe Ader) muss an der mit gekennzeichneten
Stelle angeschlossen werden.
♦ Schalten Sie den Stromkreis ab und sichern Sie ihn gegen Wiedereinschalten.
♦ Lösen Sie die vier Schrauben am Anschlusskasten auf der Geräterückseite
und entfernen Sie die Abdeckung.
♦ Ziehen Sie zunächst ein Kabel durch die Kabeleinführung 9 in den Anschluss-
kasten und sichern Sie dies an der vorhandenen Zugentlastung.
♦ Verbinden Sie das Kabel mit der Anschlussklemme, wie im Anschlussplan
dargestellt.
♦ Setzen Sie die Abdeckung des Anschlusskastens wieder auf und schrauben
Sie ihn fest.
♦ Schalten Sie nun die Spannungsversorgung wieder ein.

Einstellung Bewegungsmelder
Das Einstellen der Reichweite, der Dämmerungsstufe und der Leuchtdauer erfolgt

Einstellen der Leuchtdauer zwischen 7 Sekunden und 12 Minuten. Ist das Gerät
eingeschaltet und es wird eine neue Bewegung registriert, verlängert sich die
Leuchtdauer um den eingestellten Wert.
HINWEIS
Wir empfehlen die Leuchtdauer auf Maximum einzustellen, um eine

möglichst hohe Lebensdauer des Leuchtmittels 8 zu erreichen.

♦ Richten Sie abschließend den Bewegungsmelder 4, Ihren Wünschen
entsprechend, aus.
♦ Fixieren Sie die Position des Bewegungsmelders 4 mit der Feststellschraube 10.

Leuchtmittel wechseln
Das mitgelieferte Leuchtmittel 8 ist von der Garantie ausgeschlossen. Bitte verwenden Sie nur Leuchtmittel
♦ Schalten Sie den Stromkreis ab und sichern Sie ihn gegen Wiedereinschalten.
♦ Lösen Sie die Schraube 7 an der Frontblende.
♦ Klappen Sie die Frontblende mit der Schutzscheibe 6 nach vorne.
♦ Wechseln Sie das Leuchtmittel 8 aus. Berühren Sie dabei das Leuchtmittel
nicht mit bloßen Händen, sondern verwenden Sie ein staubfreies weiches Tuch.
♦ Schließen Sie die Frontblende und achten Sie darauf, dass die umlaufende
Dichtung richtig sitzt und sauber ist.
♦ Schrauben Sie die Frontblende wieder fest.
♦ Schalten Sie den Stromkreis wieder ein und kontrollieren Sie die Funktion.

Reinigung
GEFAHR

► Wechseln Sie das Leuchtmittel nur aus, wenn die Spannung abgeschaltet ist.
ACHTUNG
Mögliche Beschädigung des Gerätes.
► Stellen Sie sicher, dass bei der Reinigung keine Feuchtigkeit in das Gerät
eindringt.
► Verwenden Sie keine aggressiven oder scheuernden Reinigungsmittel, da
diese die Gehäuseoberfl äche angreifen können.
♦ Reinigen Sie das Gehäuse ausschließlich mit einem leicht feuchten Tuch und
einem milden Spülmittel.
Entsorgung
Werfen Sie das Gerät und/oder das Leuchtmittel keinesfalls in
den normalen Hausmüll.
Dieses Produkt unterliegt der europäischen Richtlinie 2002/96/EC
(Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
Entsorgen Sie das Gerät und/oder das Leuchtmittel über einen zugelassenen
Entsorgungsbetrieb oder über Ihre kommunale Entsorgungseinrichtung. Beachten
Sie die aktuell geltenden Vorschriften. Setzen Sie sich im Zweifelsfall mit Ihrer
Entsorgungseinrichtung in Verbindung.

sorgfältig produziert und vor Anlieferung gewissenhaft geprüft.
Bitte bewahren Sie den Kassenbon als Nachweis für den Kauf auf. Bitte setzen
Sie sich im Garantiefall mit Ihrer Servicestelle telefonisch in Verbindung. Nur so
kann eine kostenlose Einsendung Ihrer Ware gewährleistet werden.

Die Garantieleistung gilt nur für Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler, nicht

aber für Transportschäden, Verschleißteile oder für Beschädigungen an

des pièces sous tension !
Veuillez respecter les consignes de sécurité suivantes, pour éviter le risque d'un
choc électrique :
► L'installation électrique ne peut être eff ectuée que par une personne
compétente autorisée.
► Le montage doit s'eff ectuer dans le respect des normes correspondantes.
► Désactivez le circuit électrique avant le montage / l’installation.
Consignes de sécurité fondamentales
Pour assurer la manipulation de l'appareil en toute sécurité, veuillez respecter les
consignes de sécurité suivantes :
■ Vérifi ez la présence de dommages visibles extérieurs avant l'usage de l'appareil.
Ne mettez pas en service un appareil endommagé. Il y a le risque d'un choc
électrique.
■ Tout verre de protection endommagé devra être remplacé
avant de continuer à utiliser le projecteur. Il y a en eff et
un risque d'accident.
■ Confi ez les réparations sur l'appareil exclusivement à des entreprises agréées
ou au service après-vente. Toutes réparations non conformes peuvent entraîner
des risques importants pour l'utilisateur. A cela s'ajoute l'expiration de la garantie.
■ Faites immédiatement remplacer les câbles ou les raccords endommagés
par une personne compétence autorisée ou par le service après-vente, pour
éviter tous risques.
■ Maintenez une distance suffi sante avec la surface éclairée
(au moins 1 m), car le développement de chaleur présente un
risque d'incendie.
■ L'appareil est adapté au montage sur des supports à infl ammabilité
normale.

■ Les pièces défectueuses devront impérativement être remplacées par des
pièces de rechange d'origine. Seules ces pièces garantissent en eff et la
satisfaction des critères de sécurité.
■ Le circuit électrique doit être désactivé avant le remplacement d'une ampoule
et le nettoyage. Il y a le risque d'un choc électrique.
■ Seules les ampoules conformes aux caractéristiques techniques doivent être
utilisées. Les ampoules non appropriées peuvent provoquer un court-circuit et
ainsi endommager durablement l'appareil.
■ Remplacez immédiatement les ampoules défectueuses. Les ampoules défec-
tueuses peuvent provoquer un court-circuit et ainsi endommager durablement
l'appareil.
■ N'utilisez jamais l'ampoule avec un raccord défectueux. Il y a le risque d'un
choc électrique.
■ Cet appareil n'est pas prévu pour des personnes (y compris des enfants)
dont les capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales ou dont le manque
d'expérience ou de connaissances les empêchent d'assurer un usage sûr des
appareils, s'ils n'ont pas été surveillés ou initiés au préalable.
■ Les enfants doivent être surveillés afi n d'éviter qu'ils jouent avec l'appareil.

AVERTISSEMENT
► Au moment de percer, veillez à ne pas endommager de conduites dans le
mur ou le plafond.
► Les chevilles fournies sont uniquement appropriées pour le montage dans
le béton ou la pierre. Avant de procéder au montage, veuillez impérative-
ment vérifi er que l'emplacement choisi soit adapté aux chevilles. En cas de
doute, veuillez consulter l'avis d'un expert.
REMARQUE
Pour assurer le montage en toute sécurité de l'appareil, le support de

♦ En respectant un intervalle de 52 mm, percez deux trous d'un diamètre de
6 mm et env. 30 mm de profondeur.
♦ Insérez deux chevilles dans les trous et vissez l'appareil à l'aide du support
de montage 5 au plafond ou au mur (cf. Fig. Montage au plafond/
Montage au mur).

Raccord électrique
AVERTISSEMENT
Cet appareil est conforme à la classe de protection I.
► Le conducteur de protection (fi l vert/jaune) doit être raccordé à
l'emplacement signalé par
♦ Désactivez le circuit électrique et protégez-le de toute réactivation.
♦ Dévissez les quatre vis sur le boîtier de raccordement situé au dos de l'appa-
reil et retirez la cache.
♦ Acheminez dans un premier temps un câble à travers l'entrée de câble 9
dans le boîtier de raccordement et sécurisez-le au niveau de la décharge de
traction disponible.
♦ Raccordez le câble au domino, conformément à l'image sur le plan de
raccordement.
♦ Réinstallez la cache sur le boîtier de raccordement et vissez-la bien fermement.
♦ Enclenchez à nouveau l'alimentation en tension.

Réglage du détecteur de mouvements
Le réglage de la portée, du niveau de crépuscule et de la durée d'éclairage a
lieu au niveau du bouton rotatif au niveau du détecteur de mouvements

Réglage de la luminosité, en dessous de laquelle le détecteur de mouvements
sera déclenché.
Le capteur de luminosité est réglable de 5 Lux
Durée d'éclairage (TIME
Réglage de la durée d'éclairage entre 7 secondes et 12 minutes. Si l'appareil
est enclenché et un nouveau mouvement est enregistré, la durée d'éclairage se
prolonge de la valeur défi nie.

Nous recommandons de régler la durée d'éclairage au maximum, pour

Changement de l'ampoule
L'ampoule fournie 8 est exclue de la garantie. Veuillez exclusivement utiliser
des ampoules
techniques.
♦ Désactivez le circuit électrique et protégez-le à l'encontre de toute réactivation.
♦ Dévissez la vis 7 sur la cache avant.
♦ Rabattez la cache avant avec le verre de protection 6 vers l'avant.
♦ Remplacez l'ampoule 8. A cet égard, ne touchez pas l'ampoule à mains
nues, mais utilisez un chiff on doux sans poussière.
♦ Fermez la cache avant et veillez à ce que le joint sur tout le pourtour soit
fermement assis et propre.
♦ Vissez à nouveau fermement la cache avant.
♦ Enclenchez à nouveau le circuit électrique et contrôlez son bon fonctionnement.

► Ne remplacez l'ampoule qu'à partir du moment où la tension est désactivée.
ATTENTION
Dommages potentiels sur l'appareil.
► Veillez à ce qu'aucun liquide ne pénètre dans l'appareil au cours du
nettoyage.
► N'utilisez pas de produits de nettoyage agressifs ou abrasifs, car ils peuvent
agresser la surface du boîtier.
♦ Nettoyez le boîtier exclusivement à l'aide d'un chiff on humidifi é et d'un
détergent doux.
Mise au rebut
Ne jetez en aucun cas l'appareil ou l'ampoule dans les déchets
ménagers normaux. Ce produit est assujetti à la directive européenne 2002/96/EC (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
Mettez l'appareil et/ou l'ampoule au rebut par l'entreprise d'élimination des déchets
agréée ou votre centre de mise au rebut municipal. Respectez la réglementation en
vigueur. En cas de doutes, contactez votre centre d'élimination des déchets.

In questo capitolo sono riportate importanti indicazioni di sicurezza per l'uso
dell'apparecchio. Questo apparecchio corrisponde alle disposizioni di sicurezza
prescritte. L'uso non conforme può dare luogo a danni materiali e personali.

Pericolo collegato alla tensione elettrica
PERICOLO
Pericolo di morte a causa della presenza di tensione elettrica!
In caso di contatto con linee o elementi sotto tensione, sussiste il
pericolo di morte!
Rispettare le seguenti indicazioni di sicurezza per evitare rischi collegati alla
presenza di tensione elettrica:
► L'installazione elettrica può avere luogo solo tramite personale specializzato.
► Per il montaggio, applicare le relative norme.
► Durante il montaggio/l’installazione disattivare il circuito elettrico.
Avvertenze di sicurezza di base
Per l'uso sicuro dell'apparecchio, rispettare le seguenti avvertenze di sicurezza:
■ Controllare l'apparecchio prima dell'uso per rilevare eventuali danni visibili.
Non mettere in funzione un apparecchio danneggiato. Sussiste il rischio di
scossa elettrica.
■ Sostituire la lastra frontale di protezione rotta prima
dell'ulteriore utilizzo. Sussiste il rischio di lesioni.
■ Fare eseguire le riparazioni solo da aziende specializzate o dall'assistenza
ai clienti. Le riparazioni eff ettuate in modo non conforme possono causare
gravi pericoli per l'utente. In caso contrario, la garanzia decade.
■ In caso di danni al cavo o alle connessioni, fare sostituire tali componenti da
personale specializzato autorizzato o dal servizio di assistenza ai clienti, al
fi ne di evitare rischi.
■ Mantenere una distanza suffi ciente dalla superfi cie illuminata
(minimo 1 m), altrimenti sussiste il pericolo di incendio a causa
dello sviluppo di calore.
■ L'apparecchio è idoneo all'installazione su superfi ci normalmente
infi ammabili.

■ I componenti guasti devono essere sostituiti esclusivamente da pezzi di ricam-
bio originali. Solo con questi pezzi di ricambio è garantita la conformità ai
requisiti di sicurezza.
■ Prima della sostituzione della lampadina e della pulizia è necessario disatti-
vare il circuito elettrico. Sussiste il rischio di scossa elettrica.
■ Utilizzare unicamente lampadine conformi ai dati tecnici. Le lampadine
non idonee possono causare un cortocircuito e danneggiare l'apparecchio
permanentemente.
■ Sostituire le lampadine guaste immediatamente. Le lampadine guaste possono
causare un cortocircuito e danneggiare l'apparecchio permanentemente.
■ Non utilizzare mai lampadine con un cavo di connessione difettoso.
Sussiste il rischio di scossa elettrica.
■ Questo apparecchio non è indicato per l'uso da parte di persone (inclusi
bambini) con limitate capacità fi siche, sensoriali o mentali o prive dell'e-
sperienza e/o della conoscenza necessaria, a meno che tali persone non
vengano sorvegliate da un responsabile per la sicurezza o abbiano ricevuto
indicazioni sull'impiego dell'apparecchio.
■ Sorvegliare i bambini per assicurarsi che non giochino con l'apparecchio.

L'apparecchio può essere montato in ambiente interno o esterno coperto.

Il rilevatore di movimento può essere orientato orizzontalmente per
e verticalmente per circa 180° e ha un angolo di rilevazione di max. 120°.
Il raggio d'azione è regolabile da circa 5 a 12 m.
Durante la selezione del tipo di installazione ricordare che nell'angolo di rileva-
zione non devono essere rilevati eventi indesiderati, ad es. da strade o luci.

Connessione elettrica
AVVISO

► Il conduttore neutro (verde/giallo) dev'essere connesso a quello

♦ Disattivare il circuito elettrico e bloccarlo per evitarne la riattivazione.
♦ Svitare le quattro viti della cassetta di connessione sul retro dell'apparecchio
e rimuovere il coperchio.
♦ Far passare prima un cavo attraverso il passacavo nella cassetta di connes-

Impostazione del rilevatore di movimento
L'impostazione del raggio d'azione, del livello di illuminazione e della durata
di illuminazione ha luogo tramite la manopola di regolazione del rilevatore di
movimento 4.
Livello di illuminazione (LUX )
Impostare il livello di luminosità al di sotto del quale il rilevatore di movimento
deve funzionare.
Il sensore di luminosità è impostabile da 5 Lux a 2000 Lux

Durata di illuminazione (TIME
Impostare la durata di illuminazione fra 7 secondi e 12 minuti. Se l'apparecchio si
accende e si rileva un nuovo movimento, la durata di illuminazione si prolunga
per il valore impostato.
AVVERTENZA
Consigliamo di impostare la durata di illuminazione al massimo, per ottenere

Sostituzione della lampadina
La lampadina 8 acclusa è esclusa dalla garanzia. Utilizzare solo lampadine
conformi ai dati tecnici riportati nelle indicazioni.
♦ Disattivare il circuito elettrico e proteggerlo dall'eventuale riattivazione.
♦ Svitare la vite sulla lastra frontale 7.
♦ Ribaltare la piastra frontale con la lastra di protezione 6 in avanti.
♦ Sostituire la lampadina 8. Non toccare la lampadina con le mani nude,
utilizzare invece un panno morbido e privo di polvere.
♦ Chiudere la piastra frontale e assicurarsi di aver collocato la guarnizione
correttamente e che essa sia pulita.
♦ Riavvitare la piastra frontale saldamente.
♦ Riattivare il circuito elettrico e controllare la funzionalità.

Pulizia
PERICOLO

► Sostituire la lampadina solo se la tensione è disattivata.
ATTENZIONE
Possibile danneggiamento dell'apparecchio.
► Impedire la penetrazione di umidità nell'apparecchio durante la pulizia.
► Non utilizzare detergenti aggressivi o abrasivi, poiché essi potrebbero
intaccare la superfi cie dell'apparecchio.
♦ Pulire l'alloggiamento esclusivamente con un panno leggermente inumidito e
un detergente delicato.
Smaltimento
Non gettare l'apparecchio e/o la lampadina nei normali rifi uti
domestici. Questo prodotto è soggetto alla Direttiva europea
2002/96/EC (Rifi uti da apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche).
Smaltire l'apparecchio e/o la lampadina tramite un ente di smaltimento autorizzato o tramite l'ente municipale di smaltimento. Rispettare le prescrizioni attualmente in vigore. In caso di dubbi mettersi in contatto con l'ente di smaltimento

vicino. Solo in tal modo è possibile garantire una spedizione gratuita della merce.

Informatie bij deze gebruiksaanwijzing
Gefeliciteerd met de aankoop van uw nieuwe apparaat.
U hebt hiermee gekozen voor een hoogwaardig product. De bedieningshandlei-
ding maakt deel uit van dit product. Deze bevat belangrijke aanwijzingen voor
veiligheid, gebruik en afvoeren. Maak uzelf voorafgaand aan het gebruik van
het product vertrouwd met alle bedienings- en veiligheidsvoorschriften. Gebruik
het product uitsluitend op de voorgeschreven wijze en voor de aangegeven
doeleinden. Berg deze gebruiksaanwijzing zorgvuldig op. Geef alle documenten
mee als u het product doorgeeft aan een derde.

Dit apparaat is bestemd als verlichtingsinstallatie in het binnen- en overdekte
buitenbereik.
Een ander of verdergaand gebruik geldt als niet in overeenstemming met de
bestemming. Alle vormen van claims wegens schade door gebruik dat niet
volgens de bestemming is zijn uitgesloten.
Het risico is uitsluitend voor de gebruiker.

Waarschuwingen
In de onderhavige gebruiksaanwijzing worden volgende waarschuwingen gebruikt:
GEVAAR
Een waarschuwing op dit niveau van gevaar duidt op een
dreigende gevaarlijke situatie.
Als de gevaarlijke situatie niet wordt vermeden, kan dit fataal of zwaar letsel
tot gevolg hebben.
► De aanwijzingen in deze waarschuwing in acht nemen, om gevaar voor
fataal of zwaar letsel van personen te vermijden.
WAARSCHUWING
Een waarschuwing op dit niveau van gevaar duidt op een
eventuele gevaarlijke situatie.
Als de gevaarlijke situatie niet wordt vermeden, kan dit letsel tot gevolg hebben.
► De aanwijzingen in deze waarschuwing opvolgen om persoonlijk letsel te
vermijden.
LET OP
Een waarschuwing op dit niveau van gevaar duidt op een
eventuele materiële schade.
Als de gevaarlijke situatie niet wordt vermeden, kan dit materiële schade tot
gevolg hebben.
► De aanwijzingen in deze waarschuwing opvolgen om materiële schade te

Veiligheid
In dit hoofdstuk krijgt u belangrijke veiligheidsinstructies voor de omgang met
het apparaat. Dit apparaat voldoet aan de gestelde veiligheidsvoorschriften.
Een verkeerd gebruik kan leiden tot persoonlijk letsel en materiële schade.
Gevaar door elektrische stroom
GEVAAR
Levensgevaar door elektrische stroom!
In geval van contact met leidingen of delen die onder spanning
staan bestaat er levensgevaar!
Neem de volgende veiligheidsvoorschriften in acht om een gevaar door
elektrische stroom te vermijden:
► De elektrische installatie mag alleen worden uitgevoerd door een geauto-
riseerde elektricien.
► Bij de montage moeten de overeenkomstige normen toegepast worden.
► Schakel de stroomkring uit vóór de montage/installatie.
Basisveiligheidsvoorschriften
Neem de volgende veiligheidsvoorschriften in acht voor een veilige omgang met
het apparaat:
■ Controleer het apparaat vóór het gebruik op uitwendig zichtbare schade.
Neem een beschadigd apparaat niet in gebruik. Er bestaat gevaar voor
een elektrische schok.
■ Een gebroken beschermglas moet eerst vervangen
worden alvorens verder te gebruiken. Er bestaat
letselgevaar.
■ Laat reparaties aan het apparaat alleen uitvoeren door geautoriseerde
speciaalzaken of door de klantenservice. Ondeskundige reparaties kunnen
resulteren in aanzienlijke gevaren voor de gebruiker. Bovendien wordt er
dan geen garantie meer gegeven.
■ Laat beschadigde snoeren of aansluitingen onmiddellijk door geautoriseerd
en vakkundig personeel of door de klantenservice vervangen om gevaar te
voorkomen.
■ Houd voldoende afstand tot het verlichte vlak (minstens 1 m),
omdat er anders brandgevaar bestaat door de warmteontwikkeling.
■ Het apparaat is geschikt voor de montage op normaal ontvlam-
bare ondergronden.

■ Defecte onderdelen mogen alleen worden vervangen door originele onder-
delen. Alleen bij deze onderdelen is gegarandeerd, dat zij zullen voldoen
aan de veiligheidseisen.
■ Alvorens een lamp te vervangen of vóór het schoonmaken moet de stroom-
kring uitgeschakeld worden. Er bestaat gevaar voor een elektrische schok.
■ Er mogen alleen lampen worden gebruikt conform de technische gegevens.
Lampen die ongeschikt zijn kunnen een kortsluiting veroorzaken en het apparaat daardoor onherstelbaar beschadigen.
■ Defecte lampen moeten onmiddellijk vervangen worden. Lampen die defect
zijn kunnen een kortsluiting veroorzaken en het apparaat daardoor onherstelbaar beschadigen.
■ Gebruik de lamp nooit met een defecte aansluitleiding. Er bestaat gevaar
voor een elektrische schok.
■ Dit apparaat is niet bedoeld voor gebruik door personen (met inbegrip van
kinderen) met beperkte fysieke, zintuiglijke of geestelijke vermogens of met
gebrek aan ervaring en/of gebrek aan kennis, tenzij ze onder toezicht staan
van een voor hun veiligheid verantwoordelijke persoon of van die persoon
aanwijzingen krijgen voor het gebruik van het apparaat.
■ Bij kinderen is toezicht noodzakelijk om er voor te zorgen dat ze niet met het
apparaat spelen.

OPMERKING
Controleer of de levering compleet is en of er sprake is van zichtbare schade.

► In geval de levering niet compleet is of indien er sprake is van schade door
gebrekkige verpakking of door transport, neemt u contact op met de
Service-Hotline (zie hoofdstuk Service).
► De lamp wordt in een afzonderlijke verpakking in de halogeenschijnwerper
meegeleverd. Zie het hoofdstuk Lamp vervangen voor instructies voor
de correcte plaatsing van de lamp.

► De elektrische installatie mag alleen worden uitgevoerd door een geautori-

► Bij de montage moeten de toepasselijke normen worden nageleefd.
► Schakel de stroomkring uit vóór de montage/installatie.
WAARSCHUWING
► Let erop, bij het boren geen leidingen in de wand, resp. in het plafond te
beschadigen.
► De meegeleverde pluggen zijn alleen geschikt voor de bevestiging in beton
of steen. A.u.b. voor de montage beslist eerst controleren of uw bevestigings-
plaats geschikt is voor de pluggen. Haal er in geval van twijfel een vakman bij.
OPMERKING
►
De montagebeugel 5 kan voor een eenvoudiger monteren van het appa-
raat afgeschroefd worden.
♦ Boor in een afstand van 52 mm twee gaten met een diameter van 6 mm en
een diepte van ca. 30 mm.
♦ Steek twee pluggen in de gaten en schroef het apparaat met de montage-
beugel 5 aan het plafond, resp. aan de wand (zie afb. plafondmontage/

Elektrische aansluiting
WAARSCHUWING
Dit apparaat voldoet aan de beschermingsklasse I.
► De randaarde (groen/gele ader) moet aangesloten worden op de met
gemarkeerde plaats.
♦ Schakel de stroomkring uit en beveilig deze tegen opnieuw inschakelen.
♦ Maak de vier schroeven los op de aansluitkast aan de achterkant van het
apparaat en verwijder de afdekking.
♦ Trek eerst een kabel door de kabelinvoer 9 in de aansluitkast en borg dit
aan de aanwezige trekontlasting.
♦ Verbind het kabel met de aansluitklem, zoals weergegeven in het aansluitplan.
♦ Zet de afdekking van de aansluitkast er weer op en schroef hem vast.
♦ Schakel nu de stroomvoorziening weer in.

Basic Safety Instructions
For safe handling of the appliance observe the following safety information:

■ Defective components may only be replaced with original replacement parts.
Only by using original replacement parts can it be guaranteed that the

■ Only bulbs complying with the technical specifi cations may be used. Unsuit-
able bulbs may cause a short circuit and thereby damage the appliance
permanently.
■ Replace defective bulbs immediately. Defective bulbs may cause a short

Selecting the installation location
The appliance can be mounted indoors or in a covered outdoor area.

► Maintain a suffi cient distance from the illuminated area (at least 1 m),

For easier installation the bracket 5 can be unscrewed from the appliance.
♦ Drill two holes with a diameter of 6 mm and a depth of 30 mm at a spacing
of 52 mm.
♦ Insert a plug into each of the holes and screw the appliance with the

WARNING

► The earth wire (green/yellow wire) must be connected to the point
marked
♦ Switch the electrical circuit off and secure it against unintentional reactivation.
♦ Unscrew the four screws at the rear of the connection box and remove the
cover.
♦ First, pull a cable through the cable entry 9 into the connection box and
secure it to the available cable strain relief.
♦ Connect the cable to the terminals, as shown in the connection diagram.
♦ Replace the cover of the connection box and screw it down fi rmly.
♦ Now switch the power supply back on.

Changing the bulb
The supplied bulb 8 is excluded from the warranty. Please use only bulbs 8
as specifi ed in the Technical Data.
♦ Switch the electrical circuit off and secure it against being inadvertently
switched back on.
♦ Loosen the screw 7 on the front panel.
♦ Fold the front panel with the protective screen 6 to the front.
♦ Change the bulb 8. Do not touch the bulb with your bare hands, use a
dust-free soft cloth.
♦ Close the front panel, ensuring that the sealing gasket is properly seated
and clean.
♦ Firmly screw the front panel back down.
♦ Switch the electrical circuit back on and check the functioning.
