Introduction

Information for these operating instructions

These operating instructions are a component of the Cordless Handheld Spotlight LAH 55 A1 (henceforth designated as the appliance) and they supply you with important information for the intended use, safety and connection as well as operation of the appliance.

These operating instructions must be constantly kept available close to the appliance. They are to be read and applied by everyone assigned to operate, and eliminate faults in, the appliance.

Retain these operating instructions and pass them on, together with the appliance, to any future owners.

This documentation is copyright protected. Every duplication and/or reprinting, entirely or partially, as well the as reproduc-

tion of illustrations, also in a modiﬁ ed form, is only permitted with written consent from the manufacturer.

Intended use

This appliance is intended as a portable light source for outdoor areas. This appliance is spraywater protected, but is not designed for direct use in the rain. This appliance has four operating modes (halogen, LED operation, LED ambient lighting and LED ﬂ ashing light). This appliance is not intended for commercial use.

This appliance is not intended for any other use or for uses beyond those mentioned. Claims of any kind for damage resulting from unintended use will not be accepted. The operator alone bears liability.

The packaging protects the appliance from transport damage. The packaging materials are selected from the point of view of their environmental friendliness and disposal technology and are therefore recyclable.

Handling and operation

In this chapter you receive important information for the handling and operation of the appliance.

Charging the battery

This appliance is equipped with a low-maintenance and securely sealed leadacid battery. To obtain an optimum service life for your battery, pay heed to the following instructions:

This appliance has four operating modes (halogen, LED operation, LED ambient lighting and LED ﬂ ashing light), which can be adjusted by means of the On/Oﬀ switch 6 + 7.

Adjusting the carrying handle and the stand

You have the possibility to adjust the carrying handle 4 into the pistol position or into the lantern position.

To do this, press the button ♦ the handle 4 into the upper or lower position until it engages. The pistol position is used to illuminate distant objects; the lantern position is well suited for area searching.

In addition, you also have the option of positioning the Cordless Handheld Spotlight in an upright position by means of the adjustable stand 8. The light beam can be aligned through the 5 locking positions. The eyelet on the stand can be used to suspend the appliance.

Maintenance

Replacing the halogen bulb

These LEDs are not replaceable and do not have to be serviced. Only the halogen bulb can be replaced.

Posluživanje i rad

Punjenje baterije

Uređaj je opremljen sa samoodržavajućom baterijom sa olovom i gelom, zaštićenom od curenja. Za optimalni životni vijek Vaše baterije vodite računa o slijedećim napomenama:
