and is for private use. The product is not intended for commercial use.

General safety instructions

This is not a toy.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years

and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if

they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards in­volved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning
and user maintenance shall not be made by children without
supervision.

Electrostatic discharges may cause malfunctions. In the event

of such malfunctions, remove the batteries briefly and reinsert
them.

CAUTION! RISK OF INJURY! Please do not use this

device if you find that it is damaged in any way.

Do not subject the device to any extreme temperatures or

severe mechanical stress. Otherwise this may result in defor-

mation of the product.
Never cover the LED night light when it is in operation.
This article does not contain any parts that need to be main-

tained by the user. The LED cannot be replaced.

Never open one of the items of electrical equipment or insert

any objects into them.

Keep the product away from humidity.
This lamp is only intended for use indoors.

Battery safety information

DANGER TO LIFE! Batteries are not

intended for children. If accidentally swallowed seek immedi-

ate medical attention.
EXPLOSION HAZARD! Never recharge non-re-

chargeable batteries, short-circuit and / or open

batteries.
Never throw batteries into fire or water.
Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries.

Risk of battery leakage

In the event of a battery leak, immediately remove it from the

device to prevent damage.

Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mucous membranes. In

the event of contact with battery acid, thoroughly flush the
affected area with plenty of clean water and seek immediate
medical attention.

Only use the same type of batteries. Do not mix used and

new batteries.

Avoid extreme conditions and temperatures which may impact

batteries, e.g. on radiators.

Remove the batteries if the appliance has not been used for a

long period.

Risk of equipment damage

Only use the specified battery type!
When inserting the battery ensure the correct polarity! This is

shown in the battery compartment.

If necessary, clean the batteries and device contacts before

inserting batteries.

Promptly remove drained batteries from the product.

Mounting the light

Note: You will need an electric drill to install the light.
CAUTION! RISK OF INJURY! Refer to the operating instruc

for your electric drill.
CAUTION! Ensure that you do not damage any cables in the wall.

Note: For the first 24 hours after installation do not remove
the self-adhesive pad. Otherwise the self-adhesive pad will

Start of operation

Using the LED night light

Note: Before first use remove the insulation strip.
Note: For model Z31685A, slide the ON / OFF switch

ON position before start of operation.

The light will automatically switch on when motion is detected

in a dark environment.

The light will automatically switch off when motion is no

longer detected for a period of time.

Replacing batteries

Open the battery compartment at the back of the device.
Remove the old batteries and insert new batteries (see Fig C).

Check the polarity of the batteries. This is shown in the battery
compartment.

Close the battery compartment.

Only a dry, lint-free cloth should be used for cleaning.

Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials,
which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of
how to dispose of your worn-out product.

product pr operly when it has reached the end of its
useful life and not in the household waste. Information
on collection points and their opening hours can be
obtained from your local authority.

Faulty or used batteries must be recycled in accordance with
Directive 2006 / 66 / EC. Please return the batteries and / or the
device to the available collection points.

Environmental damage through incorrect
disposal of the batteries!

Batteries may not be disposed of with the usual domestic waste.
They may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazard­ous waste treatment rules and regulations. The chemical symbols
for heavy metals are as follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury,
Pb = lead. That is why you should dispose of used batteries at a
local collection point.

The device has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and
meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of product de­fects you have legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your
legal rights are not limited in any way by our warranty detailed

ZAGROŻENIE ŻYCIA! Baterie nie

powinny dostać się w ręce dzieci. W przypadku połknięcia

należy natychmiast udać się do lekarza!

NIEBEZPIECZEŃSTWO WYBUCHU! Nie

należy ładować baterii nieprzeznaczonych do ła-

dowania, nie zwierać biegunów baterii i / lub nie
otwierać ich. Może to doprowadzić do przegrzania, pożaru
lub wybuchu.

Nigdy nie należy wrzucać baterii do ognia lub wody.
Nigdy nie należy narażać baterii na obciążenia mechaniczne.

Zagrożenie wylaniem baterii

W przypadku wylania baterii natychmiast usunąć je z urzą-

dzenia, aby uniknąć uszkodzeń!

Unikać kontaktu ze skórą, oczami i błonami śluzowymi! W ra-

zie kontaktu z kwasem akumulatorowym, należy natychmiast
wypłukać dotknięte miejsce czystą wodą i niezwłocznie udać
się do lekarza!

Używać wyłącznie baterii tego samego typu. Starych baterii

nie mieszać z nowymi!

Należy unikać ekstremalnych warunków i temperatur, które

mogą oddziaływać na baterie, np. kaloryferów.

Jeżeli urządzenie nie jest przez dłuższy czas używane,

baterie należy wyjąć.

Zagrożenie uszkodzeniem urządzenia.

Używać wyłącznie zalecanego rodzaju baterii!
Podczas zakładania należy zwracać uwagę na właściwą

polaryzację! Jest ona pokazana w komorze na baterię.

W razie potrzeby przed włożeniem baterii oczyścić jej styki i

urządzenia.

Wyczerpane baterie niezwłocznie usuwaj z urządzenia.

Mocowanie lampy

Wskazówka: Do montażu potrzebna jest wiertarka.
UWAGA! NIEBEZPIECZEŃSTWO URAZU! Zapoznać się

zinstrukcją obsługi wiertarki.
UWAGA! Zwrócić uwagę na to, aby nie uszkodzić przewodów
znajdujących się w ścianie.

Zamontować oświetlenie w sposób przedstawiony na rysun-

kach A (za pomocą śrub i kołków) lub B (taśmy klejącej).
Wskazówka: Podłoże powinno być suche, gładkie,
niezanieczyszczone kurzem czy tłuszczem.
Wskazówka: Z lampki korzystać dopiero po 24 godzi­nach od czasu jej zamontowania i nie usuwać podkładki
