Battery Safety Instructions

EXPLOSION HAZARD! Never recharge nonre-

chargeable batteries, short-circuit and / or open
batteries. This can cause them to overheat, burn or

burst.

J Never throw batteries into fire or water. The batteries may

explode.

J Remove spent batteries from the product immediately. Other-

wise there is an increased risk of leakage.

J Always replace the three batteries at the same time and only

use batteries of the same type.

J Do not use different types of batteries or mix used and new

batteries together.

J Check regularly that the batteries are not leaking.
J Leaked or damaged batteries can cause chemical burns if

they come into contact with the skin; in such cases you must
wear suitable protective gloves.

j Do not use solvents such as petrol and the like as they could

damage the product.

Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable

materials, which you may dispose of at local
recycling facilities.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of
how to dispose of your worn-out product.

Defective or used batteries have to be recycled in line

with Directive 2006 / 66 / EC. Return batteries and / or
the device via the recycling facilities provided.

Batteries should not be disposed of in
normal domestic waste!

besteht die Gefahr, dass diese von Kindern oder Haustieren
verschluckt werden. Suchen Sie im Falle eines Verschluckens
sofort einen Arzt auf.

EXPLOSIONSGEFAHR! Laden Sie nicht auflad-

bare Batterien niemals wieder auf, schließen Sie sie
nicht kurz und / oder öffnen Sie sie nicht. Überhitzung,

Brandgefahr oder Platzen können die Folge sein.

J Werfen Sie Batterien niemals ins Feuer oder Wasser. Die Batterien

können explodieren.

J Entfernen Sie verbrauchte Batterien umgehend aus dem Produkt.

Andernfalls besteht erhöhte Auslaufgefahr.

J Tauschen Sie immer die drei Batterien gleichzeitig aus und setzen

j Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung nur ein trockenes, fusselfreies Tuch.
j Benutzen Sie keine Lösungsmittel, Benzin o.ä. Das Gerät würde

hierbei Schaden nehmen.

Defekte oder verbrauchte Batterien müssen gemäß

Richtlinie 2006 / 66 / EC recycelt werden. Geben Sie
Batterien und / oder das Gerät über die angebotenen
Sammeleinrichtungen zurück.

Batterien gehören nicht
in den Hausmüll!

Pb

Batterien dürfen nicht über den Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Sie
können giftige Schwermetalle enthalten und unterliegen der Sonder­müllbehandlung. Die chemischen Symbole der Schwermetalle sind
wie folgt: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Quecksilber, Pb = Blei. Geben
Sie deshalb verbrauchte Batterien bei einer kommunalen Sammel­stelle ab.
