Intended use

This device is intended exclusively for the non-commercial reception of UHF/ VHF and DVB-T TV channels and VHF radio reception in indoor rooms. The device is not suitable for operation with a SAT receiver. Any use other than as described here is not permitted and could lead to damage and injuries. No liability will be assumed for damage caused by misuse or improper handling, the use of force or unauthorised modification.

Safety

GB	This section provides you with important safety information regarding handling
	of the device. The device complies with the statutory safety regulations.
	Incorrect usage can lead to personal injury and property damage.

Basic safety instructions

For safe handling of the device, follow the safety information below:

■ Before use, check the device for externally visible damage. Do not use a device that has been damaged or dropped.

■ Do not perform any modifications or changes to the device yourself.

■ Repairs to the device during the warranty period may only be carried out by a customer service department authorised by the manufacturer. Otherwise no additional warranty claims can be considered for subsequent damage.

■ This device may be used by children aged 8 over and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, provided that they are under supervision or have been told how to use the device safely and are aware of the potential risks. Children must not play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance tasks must not be carried out by children unless they are supervised.

■ The device may only be operated using the supplied mains adapter.

■ To avoid risks, arrange for defective cables to be replaced at once by qualified technicians or our Customer Service Department.

■ Plug the mains adapter into a properly installed power socket.

■ The power socket must be easily accessible so that the mains adapter can be easily disconnected in an emergency.

■ Ensure that the cables do not present a trip hazard.

■ The mains adapter consumes power when it is connected to a mains socket. It is therefore a good idea to disconnect the mains adapter when the device is not in use.

■ This device should not be exposed to rain. Protect the device from moisture, spray and dripping water and the penetration of liquids. Never submerge the device in water and do not place objects filled with liquids (such as vases) on the device. The device could be irreparably damaged!

■ Before cleaning, or if there is an operational fault, disconnect the mains adapter from the power socket.

■ NEVER open the device housing, it contains no user-serviceable parts!

If the housing is opened, there is a risk of receiving a potentially fatal GB electric shock.

■Do not operate the device close to naked flames (e.g. candles). The device could be irreparably damaged!

■Avoid direct sunlight. The device could be irreparably damaged!

►Check the delivery for completeness and for signs of visible damage.

GB	Disposal of packaging
	The packaging protects the device from transport damage. The packaging
	materials have been selected for their environmental friendliness and
	disposal attributes, and are therefore recyclable.
	Returning the packaging to the material cycle conserves raw
	materials and reduces the amount of waste that is generated.
	Dispose of packaging material which is no longer needed in
	accordance with applicable local regulations.

NOTE

►If possible, keep the device’s original packaging during the warranty period so that the device can be packed properly for returning in the event of a warranty claim.

Handling and use

In this chapter you will receive important information on the handling and	GB
operation of the device.

Selection of set-up location

The indoor aerial can be set up in two positions (horizontally or vertically) (see Fig. A + B).

♦Attach the stand 6 to the corresponding recess on the rear of the device.

♦Place the device on a smooth, level and slip-resistant surface.

♦To ensure good reception, select a set-up location as near as possible to the window. Do not place the device on the floor, but rather on a raised surface.

♦Do not place the device in the vicinity of high-frequency devices such as microwaves. If they are operated simultaneously, this can lead to interference.

Wall mounting
The supplied wall mount 7	can be used for mounting the indoor aerial

in a horizontal/vertical position on a wall.

Required tools

To mount the aerial you will need a drill with a 6 mm masonry bit, a Philips screwdriver, a spirit level, a folding ruler and a pencil. The supplied wall plugs are only suitable for a mounting on concrete or stone. Check the suitability of your wall before mounting. If in doubt, consult a professional.

► When drilling the holes ensure that any electric cables or other installations in the wall, such as water pipes, are not damaged.

NOTE

►When mounting on a wall, the reception quality should be tested beforehand as the indoor aerial can no longer be re-aligned to improve reception once it has been mounted.

♦Use a pencil and spirit level to make a vertical or horizontal line on the wall.

♦Mark the position for the two necessary drill holes (8 cm apart) on the line with the help of the wall mount 7 and drill two holes for the supplied wall plugs (6 mm).

♦Place the wall plugs in the drillholes and screw in the screws until they project about 5 mm out of the wall.

♦Place the wall mount 7 in the holes designed for this purpose on the rear of the device (see Fig. C) and click it into place.

♦ Hang the indoor aerial on the screw heads and check that it sits firmly.

Electrical connection

The power for the indoor aerial	can be delivered via supplied the mains	GB
adapter 5 or via a receiver with a 5 V remote power supply.

CAUTION

►Before connecting the device, compare the specifications for the required input voltage on the rating plate with the intended voltage source for operation. This data must agree in order to avoid damaging the product.

►The power socket must be easily accessible so that the mains adapter 5 can be easily disconnected in an emergency.

►Check to ensure that the mains adapter cable 5 is not damaged and that it is not routed over hot surfaces and or sharp edges, otherwise it could be damaged.

►Ensure that the mains adapter cable 5 is not stretched tight or kinked.

Power adapter

♦Connect the low voltage plug of the mains adapter 5 to the power socket 4 on the rear of the device.

♦Plug the mains adapter 5 into a properly installed power socket.

Receiver with 5 V remote power supply

♦Ensure that your receiver has a 5 V remote power supply via the aerial output and that this is switched on. Consult the operating manual of your receiver for further information.

♦Connect the aerial cable 2 from the indoor aerial to the aerial connection on your receiver. The indoor aerial will now receive its power via the aerial output of the receiver.

Connecting to a TV

♦Connect the aerial cable 2 from the indoor aerial to the aerial connection on your television. The aerial cable 2 from the indoor aerial cable can only be connected directly to the television if the television has an integrated DVB-T tuner.

Connection as a radio aerial

♦If you use the indoor aerial for radio reception, please use the coaxial socket/coaxial socket adapter 9 .

♦Connect the coaxial socket/coaxial socket adapter 9 to the indoor aerial 2 .

♦Connect the aerial cable 2 with the coaxial socket/coaxial socket adapter 9 to the 75 ohm connection on your hifi system.

Connecting to a DVB-T receiver

♦Connect the aerial cable 2 from the indoor aerial to the aerial connection on your DVB-T receiver.

♦To connect the indoor aerial to a DVB-T receiver with an F connector, you will need to use the F connector/coaxial socket adapter 8 .

♦	Connect the F connector/coaxial socket adapter 8 to the indoor aerial	2 .
♦	Screw the aerial cable 2 with the F connector/coaxial socket adapter	8
	to the F connector on the DVB-T receiver.

NOTE

►After the device has been connected, you can control the signal strength and quality via the DVB-T receiver. If you still do not have a su cient picture quality, reposition your device at a better location.

Switching the device on/o

♦To switch the indoor aerial on, move the On/O switch 3 to the "ON" position.

♦To switch the indoor aerial o , move the On/O switch 3 to the "OFF" position.

Troubleshooting

NOTE

►The reception characteristics of the indoor aerial are only good if you are close enough to the broadcasting station.

Cleaning

►Pull the mains adapter 5 from the mains power socket every time before cleaning. There is a risk of electric shock!

►To avoid irreparable damage, ensure that no moisture penetrates into the device during cleaning.

►Never immerse the device in water or any other fluid when cleaning.

CAUTION

►Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents, as these can damage the upper surfaces.

♦Clean the surfaces of the device with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn soiling use a lightly moistened cloth.

♦ Should you decide not use the device for an extended period, disconnect it from the power supply and store it in a clean and dry location away from direct sunlight.

Disposal

Disposal of the device

Under no circumstances should you dispose of the device in the normal domestic waste. This product is subject to the provisions of European Directive 2012/19/EU-WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).

Dispose of the device via an approved disposal company or your municipal waste facility. Please observe the currently applicable regulations. Please contact your waste disposal centre if you are in any doubt.

Biztonság

Ebben a fejezetben a készülék kezelésével kapcsolatos fontos biztonsági utasításokat ismerheti meg. A készülék megfelel a biztonsági előírásoknak.

A szakszerűtlen használat személyi és anyagi kárt is okozhat.

Alapvető biztonsági figyelmeztetések

A készülék biztonságos használata érdekében tartsa be az alábbi biztonsági utasításokat:

■Használat előtt ellenőrizze a készüléket, hogy nincs-e rajta látható sérülés. Ne működtessen hibás vagy leesett készüléket.

■Ne szerelje át vagy változtassa meg a készüléket önkényesen.

■A készüléket a garanciaidő alatt csak a gyártó által engedélyezett ügyfélszolgálat javíthatja, ellenkező esetben későbbi károk esetén már nem érvényesíthető a garanciaigény.

■A készüléket 8 éves kor feletti gyermekek és csökkent fizikai, érzékszervi vagy mentális képességű vagy tapasztalattal, illetve tudással nem rendelkező személyek felügyelet mellett használhatják, vagy ha felvilágosították őket a készülék biztonságos használatáról és az ebből eredő veszélyeket megértik. Gyermekek nem játszhatnak a készülékkel. Tisztítást és a felhasználó által végzendő karbantartást felügyelet nélküli gyermekek nem végezhetnek.

■A készülék csak a csomagban szállított adapterrel üzemeltethető.

■A veszélyek elkerülése érdekében a sérült csatlakozó vezetéket azonnal cseréltesse ki hozzáértő szakemberrel vagy az ügyfélszolgálattal.

■Csatlakoztassa a hálózati adaptert egy szabványosan beszerelt csatlakozó aljzatba.

■A csatlakozó aljzatnak mindig könnyen elérhetőnek kell lennie, hogy a hálózati adaptert vészhelyzet esetén ki lehessen húzni.

■Ügyeljen rá, hogy a vezetékek ne okozhassanak botlásveszélyt.

■A hálózati adapter áramot fogyaszt, ha a csatlakozó aljzathoz van csatlakoztatva. Ezért, amennyiben nem használja a készüléket, húzza ki a hálózati adaptert a csatlakozó aljzatból.

■A készüléket nem szabad esőnek kitenni. Védje a készüléket fröccsenő és csepegő víztől és ne engedje, hogy folyadék jusson bele. Soha ne merítse a készüléket vízbe és ne tegyen rá folyadékkal töltött tárgyat (pl. vázát).

A készülékben helyrehozhatatlan kár keletkezhet!

■Tisztítás előtt és üzemzavar esetén húzza ki a hálózati adaptert a csatlakozó aljzatból.

■Soha ne nyissa fel a készülék burkolatát, mert nem tartalmaz karbantartásra szoruló részeket! Nyitott burkolatnál áramütés miatti életveszély áll fenn.

■ Ne üzemeltesse a készüléket nyílt láng (pl. gyertya) közelében.	HU

TUDNIVALÓ

►Ellenőrizze a csomag tartalmát, hogy hiánytalan-e és nincs-e rajta látható sérülés.

►Hiányos szállítás vagy a nem megfelelő csomagolásból eredő, illetve a szállítás során keletkezett károk esetén forduljon az ügyfélszolgálathoz (lásd a Szerviz fejezetet).

♦Vegye ki a készüléket és a használati útmutatót a kartondobozból.

♦Távolítsa el az összes csomagolóanyagot.

A csomagolás ártalmatlanítása

A csomagolás védi a készüléket a sérülésektől a szállítás során. A csomagolóanyagok környezetbarát és hulladék ártalmatlanítási szempontok szerint kerültek kiválasztásra és ezért újrahasznosíthatók.

HU	Nyersanyagot takarít meg és csökkenti a hulladékmennyiséget, ha
	a csomagolást visszajuttatja az anyagkörforgásba. A feleslegessé
	vált csomagolóanyagokat a hatályos helyi előírásoknak
	megfelelően helyezze el a hulladékban.

TUDNIVALÓ

►Amennyiben lehetséges, őrizze meg az eredeti csomagolást a garancia ideje alatt, hogy garanciális javítás esetén a készüléket megfelelően vissza lehessen csomagolni bele.

Kezelés és üzemeltetés

Ebben a fejezetben a készülék kezelésére és üzemeltetésére vonatkozó fontos tanácsokat ismerheti meg.

A felállítás helyének kiválasztása

HU

A szobaantenna kétféle pozícióban (vízszintesen vagy függőlegesen) állítható fel (lásd az A + B ábrát).

♦Illessze az állólábat 6 a készülék hátoldalán található megfelelő nyílásba.

♦Helyezze a készüléket vízszintes, sima és csúszásmentes felületre.

♦A megfelelő vétel érdekében lehetőleg ablakhoz közeli helyet válasszon a felállításhoz. A készüléket ne a földre állítsa, hanem egy magasabb helyre.

♦A készüléket ne állítsa magas frekvenciájú készülékek, például mikrohullámú sütő közelébe. Az egyidejű működés zavarokat okozhat.

Falra szerelés

A mellékelt fali tartó/konzol 7 segítségével a szobaantenna vízszintesen / függőlegesen falra szerelhető.

Szükséges eszközök

A falra szereléshez szüksége van egy 6 mm-es betonfúróval rendelkező fúrógépre, egy csillag csavarhúzóra, vízmértékre, egy colostokra és egy ceruzára. A csomagban található tipli csak betonba vagy kőbe való rögzítéshez való. A felszerelés előtt feltétlenül győződjön meg a fal alkalmasságáról. Ha bizonytalan, kérje ki szakember tanácsát.

VESZÉLY

►Ügyeljen rá, hogy fúrás közben ne sértsen falban található villanyvezetéket vagy más vezetéket, pl. vízcsövet.

HU TUDNIVALÓ

►Falra szerelés esetén előzőleg ellenőrizze a felfüggesztés helyén a vétel minőségét, mivel a felszerelt szobaantennán már nem lehet további beállításokat eszközölni a vétel minőségének javítása érdekében.

♦Rajzoljon a ceruza és a vízmérték segítségével egy vízszintes, illetve függőleges vonalat a falra.

♦Jelölje meg a 2 szükséges furatlyuk helyét (8 cm távolságban) a vonalon a fali tartó/konzol 7 segítségével, és fúrja ki a lyukakat a mellékelt tiplik számára (6 mm).

♦Helyezze a tipliket a lyukakba, és csavarja a csavarokat olyan mélyen a tiplibe, hogy azok még kb. 5 mm-re kiálljanak a falból.

♦Illessze a fali tartót/konzolt 7 a készülék hátoldalán kialakított lyukakba (lásd C ábra) és pattintsa őket a helyükre.

♦Akassza fel a szobaantennát a csavarfejekre és ellenőrizze, hogy megfelelően illeszkedik-e.

Elektromos csatlakoztatás

A szobaantenna áramellátása történhet a mellékelt hálózati adapterrel 5 vagy akár egy vevőkészüléken keresztül 5 V távtáplálási lehetőséggel.

FIGYELEM	HU

►A készülék csatlakoztatása előtt hasonlítsa össze a típusjelölésen lévő szükséges bemeneti feszültséget a kiválasztott feszültségforrás üzemeltetéséhez szükséges feszültséggel. Ezeknek az adatoknak meg kell egyezniük, hogy ne keletkezzen kár a készülékben.

►A csatlakozó aljzatnak könnyen elérhetőnek kell lennie, hogy a hálózati adaptert 5 vészhelyzetben egyszerűen ki lehessen húzni.

►Győződjön meg róla, hogy a hálózati adapter 5 kábele nincsen megsérülve és ne tegye forró felületre és/vagy éles szegélyre, ellenkező esetben megsérülhet.

►Ügyeljen rá, hogy a hálózati adapter 5 kábele ne feszüljön vagy ne legyen megtörve.

Hálózati adapter

♦Csatlakoztassa a hálózati adapter 5 kisfeszültségű csatlakozóját a készülék hátoldalán található áramellátó csatlakozóhoz 4 .

♦Csatlakoztassa a hálózati adaptert 5 egy szabványosan beszerelt csatlakozó aljzatba.

Vevőkészülék 5 V távtáplálási lehetőséggel

♦Győződjön meg róla, hogy vevőkészüléke az antenna kimeneten keresztül 5 V távoli tápfeszültség ellátással rendelkezik és be van kapcsolva. Ennek nézzen utána a vevőkészülék használati útmutatójában.

♦Csatlakoztassa a szobaantenna antennakábelét 2 vevőkészüléke antenna csatlakozójához. A szobaantenna így a vevőkészülék antenna kimenetén keresztül kap áramellátást.

A szobaantenna csatlakoztatása

Csatlakoztatás televízióhoz

♦ Csatlakoztassa a szobaantenna antennakábelét 2 televíziója antenna HU csatlakozójához. A szobaantenna antennakábelét 2 csak akkor lehet

közvetlenül a televízióhoz csatlakoztatni, ha a televíziónak beépített DVB-T tunere van.

Csatlakoztatás rádió antennaként

♦Ha a szobaantennát rádióvételre szeretné használni, használja a koax-/koax-adaptert 9 .

♦ Csatlakoztassa a koax-/koax-adaptert 9 az antennakábelhez 2 .

♦Csatlakoztassa az antennakábelt 2 a koax-/koax-adapterrel 9 vevőkészüléke 75 ohmos csatlakozójához.

Csatlakoztatás DVB-T-vevőhöz

♦Csatlakoztassa a szobaantenna antennakábelét 2 a DVB-T-vevő antenna csatlakozójához.

♦A szobaantenna F-csatlakozós DVB-T-vevőhöz történő csatlakoztatásához F-/koax-adaptert 8 kell használni.

♦ Csatlakoztassa a F-/koax-adaptert 8 az antennakábelhez 2 .

♦Csavarozza az antennakábelt 2 F-/koax-adapterrel 8 a DVB-T-vevő F-csatlakozójához.

TUDNIVALÓ

►Miután csatlakoztatta a készüléket, a DVB-T-vevőn keresztül ellenőrizheti a jelerősséget és a minőséget. Ha még nem a megfelelő képminőséget látja, helyezze át a készüléket egy jobb helyre.

A szobaantenna beés kikapcsolása

♦A szobaantenna bekapcsolásához állítsa a be-/kikapcsoló gombot 3 „ON“ helyzetbe.

♦A szobaantenna kikapcsolásához állítsa a be-/kikapcsoló gombot 3 „OFF“ helyzetbe.
