RÈGLES GÉNÉRALES DE SÉCURITÉ
1. Consignes de sécurité importantes
■ Veuillez lire attentivement toutes les consignes de sécurité ainsi que tout le mode d’emploi avant d’utiliser cet appareil.
Prêtez particulièrement attention à toutes les sections de ce mode d’emploi qui contiennent des notes et avertissements de sécurité.
■Cet appareil ne doit pas être utilisé par des personnes (enfants compris) aux capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales réduites, ou par des personnes manquant d’expérience et de connaissances à moins qu’elles n’aient été initiées à son utilisation et qu’elles ne soient surveillées par une personne en charge de leur sécurité.
■Les enfants doivent être surveillés afin de s’assurer qu’ils ne jouent pas avec l’appareil.
Entraînement
■Lisez attentivement le mode d’emploi. Familiarisezvous avec les commandes de l’appareil ainsi qu’avec son fonctionnement.
■Ne laissez jamais les enfants se servir de l’appareil.
■Ne laissez jamais des personnes non familiarisées avec ce mode d’emploi utiliser l’appareil. Les réglementations locales sont susceptibles d’imposer un âge minimum à l’utilisateur.

■L’opérateur ou l’utilisateur est responsable des accidents et des risques encourus par les autres personnes et leurs biens.
3. Préparation
■Lorsque vous utilisez l’appareil, portez toujours des chaussures adéquates ainsi que des pantalons longs.
■Habillez-vous correctement – Ne portez pas de vêtements ou de bijoux amples. Ils pourraient être happés par les pièces en mouvement. Le port de gants en caoutchouc et de chaussures adéquates est recommandé lorsque vous travaillez à l’extérieur.
■Contenez les cheveux longs. Portez des lunettes de protection.
■Il est recommandé de porter un masque antipoussières pour éviter toute irritation due à la poussière.
■Avant utilisation, vérifiez que le câble d’alimentation n’est pas endommagé ou usé. N’utilisez pas l’appareil en cas d’endommagement ou d’usure du câble d’alimentation.
■N’utilisez jamais un appareil dont les carters ou les protections sont endommagés ou dont les éléments de sécurité, comme le collecteur de débris, ne sont pas en place.
■N’utilisez une rallonge que si elle est étanche et équipéed’unraccordrépondantàlanormeIEC60320- 2-3.
4. Utilisation
■Faites toujours cheminer le câble d’alimentation par l’arrière de l’appareil.
■Si le câble d’alimentation venait à être endommagé pendant utilisation, débranchez-le immédiatement du secteur. NE TOUCHEZ PAS AU CÂBLE AVANT DE L’AVOIR DÉBRANCHÉ DU SECTEUR. N’utilisez pas l’appareil si le câble est endommagé ou usé.
■N’utilisez pas le câble d’alimentation pour transporter l’appareil.
■Evitez les environnements dangereux – N’utilisez pas l’appareil en milieu humide ou mouillé.
■Débranchez l’appareil du secteur chaque fois que vous le quittez, avant de nettoyer un bourrage, avant toute opération de vérification, de nettoyage ou d’entretien, et si l’appareil se met à vibrer de façon anormale.
■N’utilisez l’appareil qu’en plein jour ou sous des conditions d’éclairage correctes.
■Ne travaillez pas en extension et gardez un bon
équilibre en permanence.
■Gardez un bon appui dans les pentes.
■Marchez, ne courrez jamais.
■Gardez toutes les ouïes de ventilation libres de corps
étrangers.
■Ne soufflez jamais les débris en direction d’autres personnes.
■L’appareil doit être alimenté par l’intermédiaire d’un disjoncteur différentiel d’une sensibilité minimale de
30mA.
5. Entretien et stockage
■Gardez tous les écrous, boulons et vis bien serrés pour assurer un fonctionnement sûr à l’appareil.
■Vérifiez fréquemment tout signe d’usure et de détérioration de l’appareil.
■Remplacez les éléments usés ou endommagés.
■N’utilisez que des accessoires et pièces détachées d’origine.

■Stockez les appareils inutilisés à l’intérieur – Lorsqu’ils ne sont pas utilisés, les appareils doivent être rangés à l’intérieur, au sec, et en hauteur ou verrouillés, hors de portée des enfants.
6. Règles additionnelles de sécurité concernant les aspirateurs souffleurs
■Portez toujours des vêtements adaptés lorsque vous utilisez l’appareil afin d’éviter toute blessure au visage, aux yeux, aux pieds, à la tête ou aux oreilles.
Utilisez des lunettes de sécurité ou un masque facial, des bottes montantes ou des chaussures solides, des pantalons longs, des gants de travail, un casque rigide et une protection auditive.
■Ne démarrez pas l’appareil s’il est à l’envers ou s’il n’est pas en position de travail.
■Arrêtez le moteur et débranchez la prise lorsque l’appareil n’est pas utilisé, lorsque vous vous éloignez de lui, quand vous le nettoyez, le déplacez d’un endroit à un autre ou si le câble d’alimentation est emmêlé ou endommagé.
■N’utilisez pas l’appareil à proximité d’autres personnes, en particulier des enfants et animaux familiers. Arrêtez l’appareil s’ils se rapprochent trop. Maintenez une distance de sécurité d’au moins 5m par rapport aux autres personnes lorsque vous utilisez l’appareil.
■Ne dirigez jamais le tube du souffleur en direction d’autres personnes ou d’animaux. Ne soufflez jamais de débris en direction d’autres personnes ou d’animaux. L’opérateur ou l’utilisateur est responsable des accidents et des risques encourus par les autres personnes et leurs biens.
■Ne manipulez pas la prise secteur ou l’appareil si vous avez les mains mouillées, et n’utilisez pas l’appareil sous la pluie.
■N’utilisez que des rallonges prévues pour être utilisées en extérieur et marquées comme telles. Eloignez les rallonges de la chaleur, des graisses et des bords coupants.
■Assurez-vous que la rallonge est installée de telle manière qu’elle ne puisse pas être débranchée pendant l’utilisation de l’appareil.
■Gardez toutes les entrées d’air ainsi que le tube de l’appareil exempts de poussières, fibres, cheveux et autres matériaux susceptibles de restreindre le flux d’air.
■Gardez un bon appui et un bon équilibre lors de l’utilisation de l’appareil.
■Ne mettez pas l’appareil en marche en un lieu confiné ou mal ventilé, ou en présence de substances inflammables et/ou explosives telles que liquides, gaz et poudres.
■Ne vous laissez pas distraire et concentrez-vous
sur ce que vous faites. Faites preuve de bon sens.
N’utilisez jamais cet appareil lorsque vous êtes fatigué, malade, ou sous l’influence de l’alcool, de drogues ou de médicaments.
■N’utilisez pas cet appareil si vous portez des cheveux longs ou des bijoux amples. Attachez les cheveux longs vers l’arrière et retirez vos bijoux amples.
■Ne laissez aucun matériau en feu ou incandescent être aspiré par le souffleur aspirateur, tel que cendres, mégots de cigarette, etc.
■Ne tentez pas de ramasser des objets cassants tels que du verre, du plastique, de la porcelaine, etc.
■N’utilisez pas la fonction aspirateur sans que le sac collecteur ne soit en place.
■N’utilisez pas l’appareil sur une surface en gravier, que ce soit en position aspirateur ou en position souffleur.
■N’utilisez l’appareil qu’en plein jour ou sous une lumière artificielle convenable.
■Lorsque l’appareil n’est pas utilisé, rangez-le en un lieu sec et hors de portée des enfants.
■Après utilisation, débranchez l’appareil du secteur et vérifiez les dommages éventuels. Au moindre doute, contactez un service après-vente agréé.
■N’utilisez l’appareil qu’en concordance avec les instructions de ce mode d’emploi.
■Vérifiez régulièrement le bon serrage des vis.
■N’utilisez que les accessoires et pièces détachées recommandés par le fabricant.

MONTAGE
DÉBALLAGE
■Sortez délicatement l’appareil ainsi que tous ses accessoires de l’emballage.
■Vérifiez l’appareil avec soin afin de vous assurer qu’il n’a pas été cassé ou endommagé durant le transport.
■Ne jetez pas les emballages avant d’avoir vérifié et utilisé avec succès l’appareil.
■Si une pièce quelconque est manquante ou abîmée, veuillez appeler le service clientèle Ryobi pour obtenir de l’aide.
■L’aspirateur souffleur est livré avec quelques éléments restant à monter. Pour les assembler, procédez comme suit:
MONTAGE ET EXTENSION DU TUBE
(Fig. 2, 3)
Faites glisser le tube dans le carter moteur (14).
■Assurez-vous que les loquets (17 et 18) sont verrouillés et maintenez fermement ensemble le tube et le carter moteur.
■Poussez le bouton de verrouillage vers le bas (16 en figure3)ettirezsurletubeinférieurtoutenmaintenant l’embout (10) pour le faire sortir de façon télescopique du tube supérieur. Vous entendrez un >>clic<< une fois les tubes complètement étirés et verrouillés.
MISE EN PLACE DU TUBE DE DÉCHARGE DES
DÉBRIS (Fig.4a) ATTENTION:
N’utilisez jamais la machine sans que le tube de décharge des débris ne soit en place.
Le tube de décharge des débris (22) s’emboîte d’un simple mouvement. Insérez le tube dans le carter moteur (14), il se verrouillera en place lorsque vous le pousserez à fond.
MISE EN PLACE ET RETRAIT DU SAC COLLECTEUR
(Fig. 4b) ATTENTION:
N’utilisez pas l’appareil en mode aspiration/ succion sans que le sac collecteur ne soit complètement assemblé et monté sur l’appareil.
■Alignez la partie frontale du raccord plastique du sac collecteur avec l’orifice de décharge des débris (côté tube)
■Alignez et poussez la partie arrière du raccord du sac (19) dans l’orifice de décharge des débris de l’aspirateur souffleur jusqu’à ce qu’il s’emboîte.
■Accrochez le crochet avant du sac

AVERTISSEMENT

MISE EN MARCHE DE VOTRE ASPIRATEUR SOUFFLEUR
Note: Pour plus de sécurité, votre aspirateur souffleur est
équipé d’un double interrupteur de sécurité. Si les tubes ne sont pas correctement montés sur le carter moteur ou s’ils ne sont pas complètement étirés et verrouillés en place, alors l’aspirateur souffleur ne démarrera pas.

Branchez l’aspirateur souffleur sur le secteur. L’indicateur
«Livetool indicator™» (4) s’illuminera en bleu une fois l’appareil relié au secteur.
Tirez sur la gâchette (2) pour mettre l’aspirateur souffleur en marche.
ARRÊT DE VOTRE ASPIRATEUR SOUFFLEUR
Pour arrêter l’aspirateur souffleur, relâchez tout simplement la gâchette (2).
VARIATEUR (RBV3000VP UNIQUEMENT)
Comme illustré figure 7, vous pouvez régler la vitesse d’aspiration/soufflage de l’appareil en tournant le variateur vers l’avant (augmentation de la vitesse) ou vers l’arrière (réduction de la vitesse).
VIDAGE DU SAC COLLECTEUR
AVERTISSEMENT
Il n’est pas nécessaire de retirer le sac collecteur de l’appareil pour le vider. L’arrière du sac est équipé d’une fermeture éclair sur toute sa largeur qui permet de le vider. Il vous suffit d’ouvrir cette fermeture éclair pour vider le contenu du sac. Assurez-vous de refermer le sac avant d’utiliser à nouveau l’appareil.
ENTRETIEN
AVERTISSEMENT
N’utilisez jamais d’eau pour nettoyer votre appareil, utilisez uniquement un chiffon sec.
N’utilisez pas de solvants ou de produits chimiques pour le nettoyage, car ils sont susceptibles d’endommager des parties en plastique critiques.

3. Preparation

4. Operation

ASSEMBLY
UNPACKING
νCarefully remove the product and any accessories from the box.
νInspect the product carefully to make sure no breakage or damage occurred during shipping.
νDo not discard the packing material until you have carefully inspected and satisfactorily operated the product.
νIf any parts are damaged or missing, please call your Ryobi service centre for assistance.
νThe blower vac is supplied with some components not assembled. To assemble these,
proceed as follows:
ATTACHING AND EXTENDING THE TUBE
(Fig. 2, 3)
νSlide the tube into the motor housing (14).
νEnsure that the latches (17 and 18) are closed and securely hold the tube and motor housing together.
νPush the tube lock button down (16 in figure 3) and pull the lower tube out of the upper tube by holding the front bracket (10) to fully telescope the tubes out.
You will hear a >>click<< sound when the tubes are fully extended and lock into place.
ATTACHING THE DEBRIS OUTLET TUBE(Fig.4a) CAUTION:
Do not operate the machine without having attached the debris outlet tube to the unit.
The debris outlet tube(22) is fixed by one time snap fit.
Insert the tube into motor housing(14), and it will be locked into place when you push it to the end.
ATTACHING AND REMOVING THE COLLECTION BAG
(Fig. 4b) CAUTION:
Do not use the product in vacuum/suction mode without the collection bag fully assembled and properly attached to the unit.
νAlign the front part of the plastic bracket on the collection bag with the discharge outlet of the blower vac (on the tube side)
νAlign and push the bag connector on the rear side
(19)into the discharge outlet of the blower vac until it clicks into place.
νClip in the front bag hook
νTo remove the collection bag, Push the bag connector handle down and pull the collection bag away from the product
Attaching the shoulder strap (Fig. 4)
νClip the shoulder strap (1) into the shoulder strap hook (21) on the motor housing.
νAdjust the shoulder strap so that it is in a comfortable position for you.
OPERATION
intend use: This blower vacuum is intended for cleaning in dry areas(blow mode and suction mode) in domestic use. Potential risk may occur if not for such use.
SWITCHING BETWEEN SUCTION MODE AND BLOW
MODE (Fig. 6) Warning:
Always ensure that your unit is switched off and has fully stopped before changing the mode of operation. Do not force the quick change lever. It should move smoothly without resistance. If you encounter problems, disconnect from power supply and clean the lever mechanism.
For blow mode:
νSwitch the quick change lever(5) down so that it points at the blow symbol
For suction/vacuum mode:
νSwitch the quick change lever (5) up so that it points at the vacuum symbol
PREPARATIONS BEFORE EVERY USE
νWhen using the blower vac make sure that you secure your extension cord in the cord retainer as shown in Figure 5. If you bought this unit in the United
Kingdom with a BS plug it will have a long cord attached to it. In that case please secure the cord coming out of the hedge trimmer in a similar way as shown in Figure 5.
νChoose your mode of operation.
STARTING YOUR BLOWER VAC
Note: For added safety, your blower vac has double safety switching. If the tubes are not properly connected to the motor housing or the tubes are not fully extended and have not locked in place the blower vac will not start.
Check the troubleshooting guide later in this manual for more information.
νConnect the Blower Vac to the power supply. The
Livetool indicator™ (4) will glow blue once the blower vac is connected to the electric power supply.
νPull the trigger (2) to start the blower vac.
STOPPING YOUR BLOWER VAC
νTo stop the blower vac, just release the trigger (2).
VARIABLE SPEED CONTROL (RBV3000VP ONLY)
As shown in figure 7 you can adjust the suction/blow speed of the unit by turning the variable speed control forward (increase speed) or backward (reduce speed).

EMPTYING THE COLLECTION BAG WARNING
It is not necessary to remove the collection bag from the blower vac when the bag needs to be emptied. The rear side of the bag has a full length zip to open it for emptying. Simply open the zip and empty the contents. Ensure to close the zip prior to operating the blower vac.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING
Never use water for cleaning your product, use only a dry cloth. Do not clean with chemicals or solvents as some can destroy critical plastic parts.
νSwitch off and disconnect from the mains power supply before cleaning your product.
νAlways empty the collection bag.
νAlways store the product in a dry place ensuring the cable is not likely to be damaged on the sharp edges etc.
CLEANING THE COLLECTION BAG
νEmpty the collection bag after each use to avoid deterioration and obstruction of the air flow which will reduce the performance of the unit.
νClean the collection bag as needed. With eye protection on, turn the dust bag inside out after initial emptying and vigorously shake out the dust and debris.

3. Vorbereitung
■Tragen Sie beim Betrieb des Geräts immer festes
Schuhwerk und lange Hosen.
■Kleiden Sie sich richtig – tragen Sie keine lose
Kleidung oder Schmuck. Diese könnten sich in den beweglichen Teilen verfangen. Bei Arbeiten im Freien wird das Tragen von Gummihandschuhen und festem
Schuhwerk empfohlen.
■Tragen Sie eine schützende Haarbedeckung zum Zurückhalten langer Haare. Tragen Sie während des
Betriebs eine Schutzbrille.
■Zur Vermeidung von Staubreizungen wird das Tragen einer Gesichtsmaske empfohlen.
■Prüfen Sie vor der Benutzung Stromund
Verlängerungskabel of Anzeichen von Beschädigung undAlterung. Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht falls das
Kabel beschädigt oder abgenutzt ist.

4. Betrieb
■Führen Sie das Kabel immer nach hinten vom Gerät
weg.
■ Trennen Sie das Kabel unverzüglich von der Stromversorgung, falls es während des
Gebrauchs beschädigt werden sollte. DAS KABEL NICHT BERÜHREN BIS ES VON DER STROMVERSORGUNG GETRENNT WURDE. Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht falls das Kabel beschädigt oder abgenutzt ist.
■Tragen Sie das Gerät nicht am Kabel.
■Meiden Sie eine gefährliche Umgebung – verwenden Sie Geräte nicht an feuchten oder nassen Orten.
■Trennen Sie das Gerät jedes Mal von der
Stromversorgung wenn Sie es zurücklassen. Bevor

5. Pflege und Aufbewahrung
■Sorgen Sie um sicherzustellen, dass das Gerät sich in einem sicheren Arbeitszustand befindet, dafür, dass alle Schrauben, Muttern und Bolzen fest angezogen sind.

6. Weitere Sicherheitsregeln für den Gebläsesauger
■Tragen Sie bei der Arbeit mit dem Werkzeug zur Vermeidung von Verletzungen an Gesicht, Augen, Händen,Füßen,KopfoderGehörimmerangemessene
Schutzkleidung. Benutzen Sie eine Sicherheitsbrille oder einen Gesichtsschutz, hohe Stiefel oder festes
Schuhwerk, lange Hosen, Arbeitshandschuhe, einen
Schutzhelm und Gehörschutz.
■Starten Sie das Gerät nicht falls es umgedreht sein
sollte oder wenn es sich nicht in der Betriebsposition befindet.
■ Schalten Sie den Motor aus und ziehen Sie den Stecker wenn das Gerät nicht benutzt, unbeaufsichtigt zurückgelassen, gereinigt, von einem Ort an den anderen bewegt wird oder wenn das Verlängerungskabel sich verfangen hat oder beschädigt ist.
