INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Panasonic Universal Wind Shield (Baffle) Part Number: WINDB-M2
CONTENTS INCLUDED: 2 side panels, 1 top panel, 2 back panels, 10 sheet metal screws, 10 washers, 10 spacers, 28 screws, 28 locknuts and 28 shoulder spacers.
GENERAL: This wind shield is sized so it will fit onto the rear (Coil Side) of a Panasonic outdoor mini split unit with model numbers CU-4E24, CU-SE36
INSTALLATION PROCEDURES:
Remove all the protective film on the clear parts. Pre assemble all parts (Fig 1 and Fig 2)
BEFORE DRILLING OR SCREWING INTO THE UNIT, MAKE SURE THERE WILL BE NO CONTACT WITH REFRIGERANT TUBING OR ELECTRICAL WIRES. CHECK FOR CLEARANCE.
Fasten the assembled wind baffle to the unit using the provided drill tip screws, nylon spacers and washers (Fig 3). Note that the top of the baffle will be about 4 in + - above the top of the unit. This will give the unit extra protection from wind and hail.

Caution: Do not over tighten lock Nut. Tighten nut until slightly snug, then back off until it will lightly twist or spin.
Caution: Use only mild soap or detergent and water to clean baffle. Do not use any chemicals
