JNever use your lamp if you discover any damage.
mCAUTION! Damaged power supply cables and connecting cables are a danger to life as
you could suffer an electric shock.
JBefore assembly, ensure that the mains voltage available corresponds to the operating voltage necessary of the light (230 - 240 V ~).
JNever let the lamp come into contact with water or other liquids.
JNever open or insert anything into electrical fittings or equipment. Doing this sort of thing can lead to a serious danger to life from electric shock.
JTouch only the insulated part of the plug when connecting to or disconnecting from the mains supply.
JIf the external flexible cable of this lamp is damaged, it may only be replaced by a special cable or a cable that is only available from the manufacturer or his service representative.
JUse only the original power supply cable 12 to connect the under-cabinet light to the mains current.
JConnect only original under-cabinet lights of the same type (Model Z30802A-BS / Z30802B-BS) with each other. To do so, use
only the original connection cable 7 supplied.
JConnect the under-cabinet lights that are linked up together to one socket only. Make sure that you only connect a maximum of 10 linked-up under-cabinet lights of the same type to one socket. Otherwise this might overload the connections and cables.
JMake sure that all under-cabinet lights are linked up via connecting cables before inserting the power supply cable 12 into the socket.
To avoid danger of fire and injury
mRISK OF INJURY! Immediately after unpacking the lamp, check the lamp housing 3 , the protective glass 10 as well as the power supply cable 12 and, if need be, the connection cable 7 for damage. Do not install the
lamp if you discover any damage. If anything is damaged, contact the service centre to arrange a replacement.
Risk of injury from burns! Ensure the lamp has been switched off and allowed to cool before you touch it. In this way you will avoid the danger of burns. Light bulbs develop a great deal of heat.
JDo not touch bulb components or bulbs as they can reach temperatures higher than 90 °C during operation.
JAllow the light to cool down completely before replacing a defective bulb.
JReplace defective bulbs immediately. Before replacing the bulb always remove the mains plug from the socket.
JIf a protective glass cover breaks have it replaced immediately at the service centre or by an electrician.
JDo not operate this light with a dimmer or an electronic switch. It is not suitable for this mode of operation.
JFire hazard! Fit the light so
0.2m |
that it is at least 0.2 m away from |
|
the material illuminated. Fire can |
result from the development of too much heat.
JNever leave the light operating unattended.
JDo not allow any objects to cover the light. Fire can result from the development of too much heat.
JDo not allow the lamp or the packaging materials to lie around unattended. Plastic film or bags, Styrofoam etc. can turn into dangerous toys for children.
Working safely
JUse a 230 volt ~ T5 fluorescent tube type bulb with a maximum power output of 13 watt.
JFit the light in such a way to ensure it is protected from damp and dirt.
JMake careful preparations for the assembly and take sufficient time. Clearly lay out all components and any additional tools or materials that might be required so that they are readily to hand.
JRemain alert at all times and always watch
