Never leave children unsupervised with the
packaging material. The packaging material represents a danger of suffocation. Children frequently underestimate the dangers. Please keep children away from the device at all times.
J This device is not a toy and should not be
played by children. Children are not able to understand the dangers that can occur when handling this device.
J Children or other individuals who do not know
or have no experience of handling this device, or whose physical, sensory or mental abilities are restricted, must not use the device without supervision or instruction by an individual re­sponsible for their safety. Children must be su­pervised in order to ensure that they do not play with the device.

Avoid the danger of death from electric shock!
J Before use, ensure that the mains voltage
available is the same as the required operating voltage for the device (230 V~).
J Before connecting the device to the mains you
should always check the device and the mains lead for any damage. A damaged device rep­resents the danger of death from electric shock.
J Do not use the device if you find any damage. J This product’s external flexible tube is not replace-
able. Hence, if it becomes damaged you must dispose of the entire product.
J Set the lamp in a stable, clean and even place. J Please consult a specialist electrician if you dis-
cover any damage or problems with the device, or for the performance of repairs to the device.
J Never open any of the electrical equipment or
insert any objects into it. Such interventions rep­resent the danger of death from electric shock.
J It is essential that the device does not come
into contact with water or other liquids.
J Never touch the mains plug with damp or wet
hands.
J Protect the mains lead against sharp edges,
mechanical stresses and hot surfaces.
J Never use the device in the immediate vicinity
of a bathtub, shower or swimming pool.
J If the lamp is not to be used for an extended
period (e.g. during your holidays), pull the mains plug out of the mains socket.
To avoid danger of fire and injury!
replacing the bulb always remove the mains plug from the mains socket.
J Allow the lamp to cool for at least 15 minutes
before replacing a defective bulb.

DANGER OF FIRE! Always ensure
0.5 m
that there is at least 0.5 m clear dis­tance between the lamp and other
items of furniture or furnishings.
J Do not allow any objects to cover the lamp.
Fire can result from the development of too much heat.
J Position the lamp so that it is protected from
moisture and dirt.
J Never leave the lamp operating unattended. J Only use 230 Volt Eco halogen light bulbs
with an E 27 base and a maximum output of 42 watts.

Replacing a bulb

J Do not use solvents such as petrol and the like
as they could damage the product.
j Use a dry, fluff-free cloth for cleaning.

Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of recy-
clable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.
Under no circumstances should the
device / article and its bulbs be disposed of with normal household rubbish.
The device / article and its bulbs should be dispo­sed of at an officially approved disposal centre or at your local communal disposal facility.
Observe the applicable regulations. If you are uncertain of what to do please contact your local authority’s refuse disposal department.
