Do not expose the grave
light to direct weather effects, always place in­side a standard grave lantern.
Always protect the device
against moisture and humidity. Do not put this device in water or other liquids.

Risk of battery leakage
In the event of a battery
leak, immediately re­move it from the device to prevent damage!
Avoid contact with the
skin, eyes and mucous membranes! In the event of contact with battery acid, thoroughly flush the affected area with plenty of clean water and seek immediate medical atten­tion!
Only use the same type
of batteries! Do not mix used and new batteries!
Avoid extreme conditions
and temperatures which

may impact batteries, e.g. radiators!
Remove batteries from
the device after extended periods of non-use!
Risk of equipment damage
Only use the specified
battery type!
When inserting the bat-
tery ensure the correct polarity! This is shown in the battery compartment!
If necessary, clean the
batteries and device contacts before inserting batteries!

Promptly remove drained
batteries from the product!
Initial use
Remove the grave light cover 1
from the grave light housing clipped on.
Remove the small polystyrene block
inside. This is only for transport safety.
Remove the battery casing 6 and
slide off the battery casing cover This is clipped on.
Carefully remove the battery com-
partment
Remove the insulating strip inside.
This is only for transport safety.
Slide the battery compartment back
into the battery casing and replace the battery casing cover.
Place the battery casing back inside
the grave light housing.

Switch on the grave light using the
ON/OFF switch

(setting ON) or off (setting OFF). The LED will flicker to simulate can­dlelight.
Close the grave light housing with
the grave light cover.
Replacing batteries
Note: when using alkaline batteries the
batteries should be replaced approxi­mately every 180 days.
To do so, remove the grave light

Remove the old batteries and insert
fresh batteries. Ensure correct polarity. This is shown in the battery compart­ment.
Reassemble all parts. The grave light
is now operational again.
Cleaning and Care
Switch off the grave light and
remove batteries before cleaning.
Use a dry, soft and lint-free cloth for
cleaning and care.
Use a slightly dampened cloth and
mild washing-up liquid to remove stubborn dirt.
Disposal instructions
The packaging is made of en­vironmentally friendly materi­als, which may be disposed through your local recycling facilities.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details on how to dispose of your worn-out product.
To help protect the environ­ment, please dispose of the product properly when it has reached the end of its useful life and not in the household waste. Information on collec­tion points and their opening hours can be obtained from your local authority.
Defective or used batteries must be recycled in accordance with Directive 2006 / 66 / EC. Return batteries and / or the device to the provided recycling facilities.

Never dispose of batteries in your household waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazardous waste regulations. The chemi­cal symbols of the heavy metals are: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. Therefore dispose of used batteries through your municipal collection site.
