Introduction
With your new epilator you can remove unwanted hair quickly, easily and effectively. It is suitable for removing hair from your legs, underarms and bikini line.
The rotating discs catch even the shortest hairs (down to 0.5mm) and pull them out by the root.The hairs that grow back are soft and thin. Epilating with this new appliance leaves your skin smooth and hair-free for several weeks.
This epilator comes with a massage attachment and an efficiency cap.The massage attachment helps to minimise the pulling sensation and gives you a more pleasant feeling during epilation.The massage attachment pivots for optimal contour following and can be easily detached for better cleaning.The efficiency cap ensures maximum skin contact for more efficient epilation.

-Keep the appliance and the adapter dry.

-Check if the mains voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the local mains voltage before you connect the appliance.

-If the adapter is damaged, always have it replaced with one of the original type in order to avoid a hazard.
-The adapter contains a transformer. Do not cut off the adapter to replace it with another plug, as this causes a hazardous situation.
-This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
-Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Caution
-Only epilate the underarms and bikini line with the sensitive area cap attached.
-To prevent damage and injuries, keep the running appliance away from scalp hair, eyebrows, eyelashes, clothes, threads, cords, brushes etc.
-Do not use the appliance on irritated skin or skin with varicose veins, rashes, spots, moles (with hairs) or wounds without consulting your doctor first. People with a reduced immune response or people who suffer from diabetes mellitus, haemophilia or immunodeficiency should also consult their doctor first.

-Your skin may become a little red and irritated the first few times you use the epilator.This phenomenon is absolutely normal and quickly disappears. As you use the appliance more often, your skin gets used to epilation, skin irritation decreases and regrowth becomes thinner and softer. If the irritation has not disappeared within three days, we advise you to consult a doctor.
-Always check the shaving head before you use the appliance. Do not use the shaving head if the foil or the trimmers are damaged, as this may cause injury.
-Do not use the peeling glove immediately before or after epilation.
General
-Regular massages with the peeling glove may help to prevent ingrowing hairs.
-Regular cleaning and proper maintenance ensure optimal results and a long life for the appliance.
Electromagnetic fields (EMF)
This Philips appliance complies with all standards regarding electromagnetic fields (EMF). If handled properly and according to the instructions in this user manual, the appliance is safe to use based on scientific evidence available today.
Using the appliance
-Do not use the appliance near or over a washbasin or bath filled with

General information about epilation
-When you use the appliance for the first time, we advise you to try it out on an area with only light hair growth.This helps you get accustomed to the epilation process.
-Make sure your skin is clean, entirely dry and free from grease. Do not use any cream before you start to epilate.

-Epilation is easier just after a bath or shower. Make sure your skin is completely dry when you start to epilate.
-We advise you to epilate before you go to bed at night, as this allows any skin irritation that may develop to diminish overnight.
-For optimal epilation results, the hairs should not be longer than
10mm. Use one of the following methods if the hairs are longer than
10mm:
1Shorten the hairs to a maximum length of 10mm with a trimmer.
Afterwards you can immediately start with epilation.
2Shave the hairs completely.Then you can start to epilate after a few
days (minimum hair length 0.5mm necessary).
-As the hairs are removed by the root, epilation may cause some skin discomfort the first few times you use the epilator.This
effect gradually diminishes when you use the appliance more often. Regrowth tends to be softer both in appearance and to the touch.
Connecting the appliance
1Insert the appliance plug into the appliance (Fig. 5).
2Insert the adapter into the wall socket.
Epilating the legs
If you are new to epilation, we advise you to start epilating with the pivoting massage attachment.This attachment relaxes the skin and eases the sensation of epilation.
If you are used to epilation, use the efficiency cap.The efficiency cap ensures maximum skin contact and allows you to epilate your legs more quickly and efficiently.
Only use the efficiency cap on your legs.
1Put the desired attachment on the epilating head (Fig. 6).
2Select the desired speed to switch on the appliance.
-Select speed I for areas with little hair growth, for hard-to-reach areas and for areas where bones are located directly beneath the skin, such as knees and ankles.
-Select speed II for larger areas with stronger hair growth.

3Stretch the skin with your free hand to make the hairs stand upright.
4Place the epilator perpendicularly onto the skin with the on/off slide pointing in the direction in which you are going to move the appliance (Fig. 7).
5Move the appliance slowly over the skin, against the direction of
hair growth.
Press the appliance lightly onto the skin.
Epilating the underarms and bikini line
Your epilator comes with a sensitive area cap that reduces the number of active epilating discs.This makes the appliance ideal for epilating the more delicate areas of the body, such as the underarms and bikini line.
Note:You get the best results when the hairs are not too long (max.1cm).
1Put the massage attachment on the epilating head. (Fig. 8)
2Hook the curved strip of the sensitive area cap behind the ridge just in front of the massage beads (1).Then press the front of the cap downwards (2) (‘click’) (Fig. 9).
3Switch on the appliance.
We advise you to select speed II.
4Stretch the skin with your free hand.
5Place the appliance perpendicularly onto your skin, with the on/off slide pointing in the direction in which you are going to move the appliance (Fig. 7).
6Move the appliance slowly over the skin, against the direction of
the hair growth.
- Epilate your bikini line as shown in the figure (Fig. 10). - Epilate your underarms as shown in the figure (Fig. 11).

Shaving the underarms and bikini line
You can use the shaving head to shave the delicate parts of your body, such as the underarms and bikini line areas.With the shaving head, you obtain a smooth result in a comfortable and gentle way.
1Push the epilating head in the direction of the arrow (1) and remove it from the appliance (2) (Fig. 12).
2Place the shaving head on the appliance (1) and push it in the direction of the arrow (2) until is snaps home (Fig. 13).
3Switch on the appliance.
We advise you to select speed I.
4Stretch the skin with your free hand.
5Place the appliance perpendicularly onto your skin, with the on/off slide pointing in the direction in which you are going to move the appliance (Fig. 14).
6Move the appliance slowly over the skin against the direction of the hair growth while pressing it lightly.
-Shave your bikini line as shown in the figure (Fig. 15).
-Shave your underarms as shown in the figure (Fig. 16).
Using the peeling glove
Use the peeling glove in the shower. Regular massages with the peeling glove may help to prevent ingrown hairs.
Do not use the peeling glove immediately before or after epilation.
Cleaning and maintenance
Never use scouring pads, abrasive cleaning agents or aggressive liquids such as petrol or acetone to clean the appliance.
-Never rinse the appliance or the adapter under the tap (Fig. 17).
-Keep the appliance and the adapter dry (Fig. 18).

Cleaning the attachments
1Switch off the appliance.
2Remove the adapter from the wall socket (1) and pull the appliance plug out of the appliance (2) (Fig. 19).
3Remove the attachment (efficiency cap or massage attachment) from the epilating head (Fig. 20).
4Remove loose hairs with the cleaning brush.
5Rinse the attachment under the tap while turning it.
6Dry the attachment before you use or store it.
Cleaning the epilating head
1Switch off the appliance.
2Remove the adapter from the wall socket (1) and pull the appliance plug out of the appliance (2) (Fig. 19).
3Push the epilating head in the direction of the arrow (1) and remove it from the appliance (2) (Fig. 12).
4Remove loose hairs with the cleaning brush (Fig. 21).
5Rinse the epilating head under the tap for 5-10 seconds while turning it (Fig. 22).
6Shake the epilating head firmly and dry it thoroughly with a tea towel (Fig. 23).
Note: Make sure the epilating head is completely dry before you place it back onto the appliance.
Cleaning the shaving head
1Switch off the appliance.
2Remove the adapter from the wall socket (1) and pull the appliance plug out of the appliance (2) (Fig. 19).

3Push the shaving head in the direction of the arrow (1) and remove it from the appliance (2). (Fig. 24)
4Remove the shaving foil from the shaving head (Fig. 25).
5Clean the shaving foil, the cutter block and the hair chamber with the cleaning brush.
Do not exert any pressure on the shaving foil to avoid damage.
6You can also rinse the shaving head and its parts under the running tap.
7Put the protection cap on the shaving head after use.
8Rub a drop of sewing machine oil onto the shaving foil twice a year.
Replacement
If you use the appliance two or more times a week, we advise you to replace the shaving foil and the cutter block every 1 to 2 years.
A worn or damaged shaving foil may only be replaced with an original Philips shaving foil (type no. HP6116).
A worn or damaged cutter block may only be replaced with an original
Philips cutter block (type no. HP2911).
Environment
-Do not throw away the appliance with the normal household waste at the end of its life, but hand it in at an official collection point for recycling. By doing this, you help to preserve the
environment (Fig. 26).

Introduktion
Med din nye epilator kan du hurtigt, nemt og effektivt fjerne uønsket hårvækst. Den er specielt anvendelig til at fjerne hår fra ben, armhuler og bikinilinje.
De roterende skiver fanger selv de korteste hår (helt ned til 0,5 mm) og trækker dem ud med rod. De nye hår som herefter gror ud, er ofte bløde og tynde. Epilering med dette nye apparat efterlader huden glat og hårfri i flere uger.
Denne epilator leveres med massagetilbehør og en effektivitetskappe. Massagetilbehøret reducerer smertefornemmelsen og giver en mere behagelig epilering. Massagetilbehøret er drejeligt, så det følger kroppens konturer, og det kan nemt tages af og rengøres. Effektivitetskappen sikrer maksimal hudkontakt for en mere effektiv epilering.

-Kontrollér altid skærhovedet, før du bruger apparatet. Brug ikke skærhovedet, hvis folien eller trimmerne er beskadigede, da du risikerer at komme til skade.
-Eksfolieringshandsken bør ikke anvendes umiddelbart før eller efter epilering.
Generelt

Epilering af ben
Hvis du ikke tidligere har prøvet epilering, anbefaler vi, at du starter epileringen med det vipbare massagetilbehør. Dette tilbehør afslapper huden og gør epileringen mere behagelig.
Er du vant til epilering, kan du bruge
effektivitetskappen. Effektivitetskappen sikrer maksimal hudkontakt, så du kan epilere benene hurtigt og effektivt.
Brug kun effektivitetskappen på benene.
1Sæt det ønskede tilbehør på epilatorhovedet (fig. 6).
2Tænd apparatet ved at vælge den ønskede hastighed.
-Vælg hastighed I til områder med mindre hårvækst, til svært tilgængelige områder og til områder, hvor der er knogler lige under huden, f.eks. knæ og ankler.
-Vælg hastighed II til større områder med kraftigere hårvækst.

Epilering af armhuler og bikinilinje
Epilatoren leveres med en præcisionskappe til følsomme områder, som reducerer antallet af aktive pincetskiver. Det gør apparatet velegnet til epilering af de mere følsomme kropszoner, såsom armhuler og bikinilinjen.
Bemærk: Du opnår det bedste resultat, når hårene ikke er for lange (maks. 1 cm).

Barbering af armhuler og bikinilinje
Skærhovedet kan anvendes til barbering af kroppens følsomme områder (armhuler og bikinilinje). Med skærhovedet opnår du en glat hud på en behagelig og blid måde.

Eksfolieringshandsken bør ikke anvendes umiddelbart før eller efter epilering.
Rengøring og vedligeholdelse
Brug aldrig skuresvampe eller skrappe rengøringsmidler så som benzin, acetone eller lignende til rengøring af apparatet.
-Apparat og adapter må aldrig skylles under vandhanen (fig. 17)
-Både apparat og adapter skal holdes tørre (fig. 18).
Rengøring af tilbehøret
1Sluk for apparatet.
2Tag adapteren ud af stikkontakten (1), og træk apparatstikket ud af apparatet (2) (fig. 19).
3Tag tilbehøret (effektivitetskappen eller massagetilbehør) af epilatorhovedet (fig. 20).
4Fjern løse hår med rensebørsten.

5Skyl tilbehøret under vandhanen, mens du drejer det.
6Tør tilbehøret, før du bruger det eller lægger det væk.
Rengøring af epilatorhovedet
1Sluk for apparatet.
2Tag adapteren ud af stikkontakten (1), og træk apparatstikket ud af apparatet (2) (fig. 19).
3Skub epilatorhovedet i pilens retning (1), og tag det af apparatet
(2)(fig. 12).
4Fjern løse hår med rensebørsten (fig.21).
5Rengør epilatorhovedet under rindende vand i 5-10 sekunder, mens du drejer det (fig. 22).
6Ryst epilatorhovedet, og tør det grundigt med et viskestykke (fig. 23).
Bemærk: Sørg for, at epilatorhovedet er helt tørt, før du sætter det på apparatet igen.

Miljøhensyn

Einführung
Mit Ihrem neuen Epiliergerät können Sie lästige Haare schnell, einfach und wirksam entfernen. Es eignet sich zum Epilieren der Beine, Achselhöhlen und der Bikinizone.
Selbst die kürzesten Härchen (bis zu 0,5 mm) werden von den schnell rotierenden Pinzetten erfasst und an der Haarwurzel entfernt. Die nachwachsenden Haare sind fein und weich. Ihre Haut bleibt mehrere Wochen lang glatt.
Ihr Epiliergerät verfügt über einen Massageaufsatz und eine
Funktionskappe. Der Massageaufsatz wirkt schmerzlindernd und lässt Sie das Epilieren als weniger unangenehm empfinden. Für eine optimale
Konturenanpassung dreht sich der Aufsatz und lässt sich für eine gründlichere Reinigung ganz einfach abnehmen. Die Funktionskappe garantiert maximalen Hautkontakt für eine noch gründlichere Epilation.

Gefahr
-Gerät und Adapter dürfen nicht nass werden.
-Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von bzw. über einem mit Wasser gefüllten Waschbecken oder einer Badewanne.
-Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Badewanne oder Dusche.
-Bei der Nutzung des Geräts im Badezimmer sollten Sie kein Verlängerungskabel verwenden.
Warnhinweis
-Prüfen Sie, bevor Sie das Gerät anschließen, ob die Spannungsangabe auf dem Gerät mit der örtlichen Netzspannung übereinstimmt.
-Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur mit dem mitgelieferten Adapter.
-Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn der Adapter oder das Gerät selbst beschädigt oder defekt ist.
-Wenn der Adapter defekt oder beschädigt ist, darf er nur durch ein Original-Ersatzteil ausgetauscht werden, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
-Der Adapter enthält einen Transformator. Ersetzen Sie den Adapter keinesfalls durch einen anderen Stecker, da dies den Benutzer gefährden kann.
-Dieses Gerät ist für Benutzer (einschl. Kinder) mit eingeschränkten physischen, sensorischen oder psychischen Fähigkeiten bzw. ohne jegliche Erfahrung oder Vorwissen nur dann geeignet, wenn eine angemessene Aufsicht oder ausführliche Anleitung zur Benutzung des Geräts durch eine verantwortliche Person sichergestellt ist.
-Achten Sie darauf, dass Kinder nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
Achtung
-Verwenden Sie zum Epilieren der Achselhöhlen und Bikinizone das
Gerät immer mit dem Aufsatz für empfindliche Körperzonen.
-Halten Sie das eingeschaltete Gerät fern von Kopfhaar,Wimpern und
Augenbrauen sowie von Kleidung, Borsten, Fäden und Kabeln, um
Verletzungen und Beschädigungen zu vermeiden.
-Bei Hautreizungen, Krampfadern, Ausschlag, Pickeln, (behaarten) Muttermalen oder Wunden sollten Sie das Gerät nicht verwenden, ohne vorher einen Arzt zu konsultieren. Gleiches gilt für Patienten mit

geschwächter Immunabwehr, Diabetes, Hämophilie und Immunschwäche.
-Nach den ersten Anwendungen kann Ihre Haut möglicherweise mit Rötungen oder Reizungen reagieren. Dies ist völlig normal und sollte sich bald legen, sobald Sie sich an das Epilieren gewöhnt haben und die nachwachsenden Haare feiner und weicher werden. Sollte die
Hautirritation nicht innerhalb von 3Tagen wieder abklingen, konsultieren Sie Ihren Arzt.
-Überprüfen Sie den Ladyshave-Aufsatz vor jeder Verwendung des Geräts. Um Verletzungen zu vermeiden, sollten Sie den Aufsatz nicht benutzen, wenn Folie oder Schermesser beschädigt sind.
-Verwenden Sie den Peeling-Handschuh nicht unmittelbar vor oder nach dem Epilieren.
Allgemeines
-Regelmäßige Massagen mit dem Peeling-Handschuh können verhindern, dass Härchen in die Haut einwachsen.
-Regelmäßige Reinigung und Wartung gewährleisten optimale Ergebnisse und eine lange Lebensdauer des Geräts.
Elektromagnetische Felder (EMF; Electro Magnetic Fields)
Dieses Philips Gerät erfüllt sämtliche Normen bezüglich elektromagnetischer Felder (EMF). Nach aktuellen wissenschaftlichen
Erkenntnissen ist das Gerät sicher im Gebrauch, sofern es ordnungsgemäß und entsprechend den Anweisungen in dieser Bedienungsanleitung gehandhabt wird.
Das Gerät benutzen
-Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von bzw. über einem mit
Wasser gefüllten Waschbecken oder einer Badewanne (Abb. 2).
-Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Badewanne oder
Dusche (Abb. 3).
-Bei der Nutzung des Geräts im Badezimmer sollten Sie kein Verlängerungskabel verwenden (Abb. 4).

Allgemeine Hinweise zum Epilieren
-Wenn Sie das Gerät zum ersten Mal benutzen, empfiehlt es sich, es zunächst an einer Stelle mit geringer Behaarung auszuprobieren, damit Sie sich an das Epilieren gewöhnen.
-Ihre Haut sollte sauber, fettfrei und absolut trocken sein, wenn Sie das Gerät benutzen.Verwenden Sie vor dem Epilieren keine Cremes.
-Das Epilieren ist nach einem Duschoder Vollbad am leichtesten. Achten Sie darauf, dass Ihre Haut vor der Anwendung vollständig trocken ist.
-Wir empfehlen das Epilieren vor dem Schlafengehen. So kann eine möglicherweise auftretende Hautreizung über Nacht abklingen.
-Für optimale Ergebnisse beim Epilieren sollten die Haare nicht länger als 10 mm sein.Wenn die Haare länger als 10 mm sind, probieren Sie
eine der folgenden Methoden aus:
1Schneiden Sie das Haar mit einem Langhaarschneider auf eine Länge von max. 10 mm vor.Anschließend können Sie mit dem Epilieren
beginnen.
2Rasieren Sie die Haare vollständig. Nach einigenTagen können Sie mit dem Epilieren beginnen (die Haare müssen mindestens 0,5 mm lang
sein).
-Da die Härchen an der Wurzel entfernt werden, kann das Epilieren bei den ersten Anwendungen ein unangenehmes Hautgefühl verursachen. Das nimmt aber mit jeder Anwendung ab, denn die nachwachsenden Haare sind weicher und feiner.
Das Gerät anschließen
1Stecken Sie den Gerätestecker in das Gerät (Abb. 5).
2Stecken Sie den Adapter in die Steckdose.
Beine epilieren
Wenn Sie zuvor noch nie epiliert haben, empfehlen wir Ihnen, vorerst den beweglichen Massageaufsatz zu verwenden. Dieser Aufsatz entspannt die Haut und macht das Epilieren noch sanfter.
