Introduction

C With your new Satinxice you can remove unwanted hairs quickly, easily and effectively.

The combination of the proven epilating disc system with the newly developed skin cooler constitutes a revolution in epilation.Thanks to the natural numbing effect of ice on the skin, the new Satinxice makes epilation more comfortable and less painful than ever.

The Satinxice is particularly suitable for the legs.The rapidly rotating epilating discs catch even the shortest hairs (0.5 millimetres!) and pull them out by the roots.The hairs that grow back are soft and downy. So no stubble!

Important

Check if the mains voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to your local mains voltage before you connect the appliance.

Make sure the appliance does not come into contact with water.

Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.

To prevent damage and injuries, keep the running appliance away from your hair, eyebrows, eyelashes, clothes, threads, cords, brushes etc.

If the mains cord of this appliance is damaged, it must always be replaced by the original type.

Epilation in general

After epilating with the Satinxice, your skin will stay smooth and hair-free for weeks. As some women may develop skin irritation and ingrown hairs, we recommend that you read the text below carefully.

-Do not use the appliance when the skin to be epilated is irritated or when you have varicose veins, pimples, moles (with hairs) or scratches without consulting your doctor first.When you have a reduced immune response, e.g. during pregnancy or if you are suffering from diabetes mellitus, haemophilia or immunodeficiency, you might be more susceptible. If any problems should occur, please contact your doctor as well.

-Because the appliance pulls the hairs out by the roots, the skin may be slightly sensitive or become somewhat red and irritated.This phenomenon is absolutely normal (especially when you have just started using the appliance) and will quickly disappear. As you use the appliance more often, the skin irritation will decrease. Moreover, the hairs that grow back after epilation gradually become softer and easier to remove. If, however, your skin irritation has not disappeared within three days, you are advised to consult your doctor.

-When you epilate for the first time, we advise you to try the appliance out on an area with relatively little hair growth. In this way you can get accustomed to this epilating method.

-Type HP6434/PB only:This appliance has been extensively tested on the underarm and bikiniline areas. Some women may develop skin irritation when they use this appliance to epilate these parts of their body for the first time.We advise you to try the appliance out on a small patch of skin first.

-Regular cleaning and proper maintenance are essential to guarantee the best results and to prolong the life of the appliance.

Tips

-Regular massages with a loofah (types HP6433/PB, HP6434/PB, HP6435/PB only) may help prevent ingrown hairs.When the skin surface is carefully scrubbed with a loofah, fine hairs will continue to grow without a problem. Do not scrub immediately before or after epilating.

-Applying a mild cream or body milk after epilation will help to reduce any skin irritation that may develop.

-Hairs are easier to remove after you have taken a bath or a shower. Make sure your skin is completely dry when you start to epilate.

-We advise you to epilate in the evening, as this will allow any skin irritation that may develop to disappear during the night.

Freezing the skin cooler

C 1 Remove the protective sleeve from the skin cooler.

C 2 Put the skin cooler without the protective

sleeve in the freezer cassette and put it in

the freezer or freezing compartment (***)

for at least 6 hours before you start epilating.

Make sure the outside of the skin cooler is completely dry before you freeze it.

Tip:You can store the skin cooler in the freezer permanently.

Epilating the legs

Make sure your skin is clean and free of grease and cream. Do not use cream right before you start epilating.

1Slide the frozen skin cooler into the protective sleeve.

2Snap the skin cooler onto the appliance.

3Put the plug in the wall socket.

4Switch the appliance on by selecting the desired speed.

Speed I: for areas with little hair growth and/or with bones directly beneath the skin (such as knees and ankles).

Speed II: for larger areas and/or areas with a stronger hair growth.

5Stretch your skin with your free hand to make the hairs stand upright.

C 6 Place the appliance on the skin at right angles, with the cord pointing towards you,

and move it against the direction of hair

growth.

Make sure both the epilating discs and the skin cooler touch your skin.

The precision cap reduces the number of epilating discs that are active and stretches the skin during epilating. It is particularly suitable when epilating the underarm and bikini-line areas.You will get the best results when the hairs are not too long (max. 1 cm long).

					1	Switch the appliance off.
			C			Place the precision cap on the appliance.

				C		Snap the skin cooler in its protective

You can use the shaving head to shave sensitive parts of the body such as the armpits and the bikini line.With the shaving head you will obtain a smooth result in a comfortable and gentle way. You don't have to use the skin cooler for this operation.

		1	Switch the appliance off.
	C		Remove the epilating head.

		Press the ribbed sections and slide the epilating
		head off the appliance in the direction of the
		arrow.
	C		Snap the shaving head onto the appliance

			by pushing it against the direction of the
			arrow ('Click').
		The shaving head can only be mounted on the

Use the exfoliating head only on your legs, not on your armpits or bikini line.

			1	Make sure the appliance is switched off.
		C		Remove the epilating head, press the

Choose speed I or II, depending on the required exfoliating strength.We recommend exfoliating each leg for 1-3 minutes.

-To obtain a good skin appearance, use the exfoliating head once or twice a week.

-Don't use any cream, foam, gel or lotion just before or during the exfoliation.

-Don't use the exfoliating head within two days after epilation.

-For hygienic reasons, the exfoliating head should only be used by one person.

-We advise you to exfoliate before going to bed at night. Any skin irritation that may develop will diminish overnight.

-After exfoliation, apply a mild cream or body milk to hydrate the skin and improve its texture.

Cleaning the appliance

Do not use any corrosive detergents, scouring pads or cloths, petrol, acetone etc. to clean the

appliance.

Maintenance and replacement

Types HP6435/PB, HP6436/PB only: shaving head

-Rub a drop of sewing machine oil onto the trimmer as well as the shaving foil twice a year.

-Replace the shaving foil (type HP 6106) and the cutter block (type HP2911) every 1 or 2 years when you use the appliance one or two times a week (or more often) and replace them when they are damaged.

C Mit Ihrem neuen Epiliergerät Satinxice können Sie unerwünschte Härchen schnell, bequem

und erfolgreich entfernen. Die Kombination des bewährten Pinzettenprinzips mit dem neu entwickelten Skin-Cooling System bedeutet eine Revolution der Epilation. Ihre Haut wird unmittelbar vor dem Epilieren gekühlt. So wird der Zupfschmerz unterdrückt, und die Epilation ist kaum spürbar.

Der Satinxice ist besonders geeignet für die Epilation der Beine. Die schnell rotierenden Pinzetten erfassen auch die kürzesten Härchen (bis zu 0,5 mm!) und zupfen sie sanft an der Wurzel heraus. Die nachwachsenden Härchen sind dünn und zart. Keine Stoppeln mehr!

Wichtig

Prüfen Sie, bevor Sie das Gerät in Betrieb nehmen, ob die Spannungsangabe auf dem Gerät mit der örtlichen Netzspannung übereinstimmt.

Achten Sie darauf, dass das Gerät nicht mit Wasser in Berührung kommt.

Halten Sie das Gerät außer Reichweite von Kindern.

Halten Sie das eingeschaltete Gerät fern von Kopfhaar,Wimpern und Augenbrauen, sowie von Kleidung, Borsten, Fäden und Drähten.

Wenn das Netzkabel defekt oder beschädigt ist, muss es durch ein original PhilipsNetzkabel ersetzt werden.

Allgemeines zur Epilation

Nach dem Epilieren mit Satinxice bleibt Ihre Haut wochenlang glatt und unbehaart. Da einige Frauen mit Hautreizungen reagieren können oder eingewachsene Haare aufweisen, lesen Sie bitte den folgenden Text.

-Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn die Haut gereizt oder entzündet ist, auch nicht bei Pickeln, Ausschlag und Wunden, bei Krampfadern oder (behaarten) Muttermalen. Fragen Sie zuvor Ihren Arzt. Gleiches gilt bei geschwächter Abwehrlage, z. B. bei Diabetes mellitus (Zuckerkrankheit), Schwangerschaft, Hämophilie und Immunschwäsche.

-Nach der ersten Anwendung des Geräts könnten Sie ein leichtes Unbehagen empfinden, da die Haare an der Haarwurzel entfernt werden. Das geht nach wenigen Anwendungen vorüber. Außerdem lassen sich die nachwachsenden Härchen leichter entfernen, da sie weicher und dünner sind. Sollte die Reizung allerdings länger als drei Tage andauern, so konsultieren Sie bitte Ihren Arzt.

-Wenn Sie das Gerät zum ersten Mal benutzen, empfiehlt es sich, es zuerst an einer nur leicht behaarten Stelle auszuprobieren, um sich mit dem Epilierverfahren vertraut zu machen.

-(Nur Type HP6434/PB:) Dieses Gerät ist in der

Achselhöhle und in der Bikini-Zone ausgiebig getestet worden. Bei einigen Frauen zeigt sich nach der ersten Epilation in diesen Bereichen eine Hautreizung. Probieren Sie das Gerät zuerst an einer kleinen Hautpartie aus.

-Regelmäßige Reinigung und Wartung sichert Ihnen die besten Resultate und eine lange Nutzungsdauer.

Hinweise zum Gebrauch

-Eine regelmäßige Massage mit Luffa-Produkten (Nur Type HP6433/PB, HP6434/PB, HP6435/PB) verhindert, dass Härchen in die Haut wachsen. Bei regelmäßiger Anwendung eines Luffa-Schwamms wachsen die Härchen normal. Massieren Sie aber nicht unmittelbar vor oder nach dem Epilieren.

-Nach dem Epilieren können Sie eine milde Creme oder eine Body Lotion auftragen, um eventuell auftretende Hautreizungen zu lindern.

-Das Epilieren ist nach einem Duschoder Vollbad am leichtesten. Ihre Haut muss aber völlig trocken sein.

-Es empfiehlt sich, die Epilation am Abend vor dem Einschlafen vorzunehmen, da eventuelle Hautreizungen über Nacht abklingen.

Die Kühlung des Skin-Coolers

C 1 Nehmen Sie die Schutzkappe vom Skin-

Cooler.

C 2 Legen Sie den Skin-Cooler ohne die

Schutzkappe in die Kühlkassette, und

kühlen Sie ihn vor dem Epilieren in einem

Tiefkühlgerät bzw. -fach (***) mindestens 6 Stunden lang.

Achten Sie darauf, dass der Skin-Cooler völlig trocken ist, bevor sie ihn kühlen.

Hinweis: Sie können den Skin-Cooler auch ständig im Tiefkühlgerät bzw. -fach aufbewahren.

Die Beine epilieren

Ihre Haut muss bei der Anwendung sauber, fettfrei und absolut trocken sein.Verwenden Sie vor dem Epilieren keine Cremes.

C 1	Setzen Sie die Schutzkappe auf den
	gekühlten Skin-Cooler.
C 2	Drücken Sie den Skin-Cooler auf das
	Gerät.
3	Stecken Sie den Stecker in die Steckdose.
C 4	Schalten Sie das Gerät ein, indem Sie die
	gewünschte Geschwindigkeit wählen:

Geschwindigkeit I: Für Stellen mit schwacher Behaarung und für Hautpartien über Knochen, wie an Knien und Knöcheln.

Geschwindigkeit II: Für größere Hautpartien und/oder bei stärkerem Haarwuchs.

Achten Sie darauf, dass sowohl die Epilierpinzetten als auch der Skin-Cooler Ihre Haut berühren.

Drücken Sie das Gerät nicht auf die Haut.

7Strecken Sie Ihr Bein, wenn Sie die Kniekehlen epilieren.

				1	Schalten Sie das Gerät aus.

Wählen Sie Geschwindigkeit I oder II. abhängig von der erwünschten Peelingintensität.Wir empfehlenjedes Bein 1 - 3 Minuten zu behandeln.

-Um ein gutes Ergebnis zu erzielen, verwenden Sie die Peelingeinheit ein bis zwei mal pro Woche

-Verwenden Sie keine Cremen, Schaum, Gel oder Lotion kurz vor oder während der Anwendung

-Nach dem Epilieren solten Sie den Peelingaufsatz zwei tage nicht verwenden.

Reinigung des Geräts

Die Epiliereinheit läßt sich nur in einer Richtung aufsetzen.

Spülen Sie den Epilator nicht mit Wasser ab! Der Peelingaufsatz kann mit einem Handtuch abgetrocknet werden.

Aufbewahrung

1Setzen Sie nach Gebrauch die Schutzkappe auf das Gerät.

2Bringen Sie das Gerät und seine Zusatzteile in der Reisetasche unter.

3Legen Sie den Skin-Cooler in die TiefkühlKassette, und bringen Sie ihn im Tiefkühlgerät oder in einem Tiefkühlfach (***) unter.

Wartung und Ersatzteile

-Verreiben Sie zweimal jährlich einen Tropfen Nähmaschinenöl auf dem Langhaarschneider und auf der Rasierfolie.

-Ersetzen Sie die Rasierfolie (Type HP6106) und den Messerblock (Type HP2911) bei normalem Gebrauch von einoder zweimal pro Woche (oder häufiger) nach einem oder zwei Jahren bzw. vorher, wenn ein sollches Teil beschädigt ist.

C Avec votre nouvel épilateur Satinxice, vous pouvez vous épiler rapidement et

efficacement. La combinaison d'un système d'épilation à disques déjà éprouvé; avec un pack givrant à accumulation, amène une révolution dans la technique d'épilation. Grâce à l'effet naturel anesthésiant de la glace sur la peau, le nouvel épilateur Satinxice rend l'épilation plus confortable et moins douloureuse comme jamais elle ne l'a été.

Votre épilateur Satinxice est particulièrement adapté à l'épilation de vos jambes. Les disques rotatifs attrapent même les poils les plus courts (0,5 mm!) et les retirent à partir de la racine. Le poil qui repouse est doux et fin. Plus de poils durs!

Ne laissez pas l'appareil en contact avec de l'eau.

Conservez l'appareil à l'écart des enfants.

Pour prévenir des dommages ou des blessures, utilisez l'appareil à distance respectable des cheveux, cils, sourcils, vêtements, fils, cordons, brosses etc.

Si le cordon d'alimentation est endommagé, il ne doit être remplacé que par un cordon d'alimentation d'origine.

Epilation en général

L'épilation avec Satinxice laisse votre peau douce et sans poils pendant plusieurs semaines. Etant donné le fait que certaines femmes peuvent subir une irritation de la peau, nous vous recommandons de lire attentivement ce qui suit.

-N'utilisez pas l'appareil sur une peau irritée ou avec des varices, taches, des taches de vin (avec pilosités) ou autres problèmes cutanés sans consulter votre médecin préalablement. Les mêmes recommandations s'appliquent aux personnes ayant des protections immunitaires reduites, par exemple les femmes enceintes, les diabétiques, les hémophiles ou les déficients immunitaires. En cas de problème, consultez votre médecin.

-L'appareil retire les poils avec leurs racines et donc cela peut provoquer un rougissement ou une irritation de la peau. Il s'agit d'une réaction normale (surtout quand vous utilisez l'appareil pour la première fois) qui disparaîtra rapidement. Mais cet effet diminuera graduellement à chaque utilisation. La repousse a tendance à être plus douce au toucher. Cependant, si l'irritation persiste plus de trois jours, consultez votre médecin.

-Quand vous utilisez l'appareil pour la première fois, nous vous conseillons de commencer à un

endroit avec peu de poils de manière à vous habituer à l'épilation.

-Type HP6434/PB uniquement: l'appareil a été testé pour les aisselles et la ligne du maillot. Certaines femmes peuvent subir une irritation de la peau quand elles utilisent l'appareil pour la première fois dans ces zones sensibles. Nous vous recommandons d'essayer d'abord l'appareil sur une petite portion de peau.

-Un nettoyage régulier et un entretien correct vous garantissent des résultats optimaux et une durée de vie plus longue pour votre appareil.

Suggestions

-Un massage régulier de la peau avec un gant végétal ou un loofah ( Type HP6433/PB, HP6434/PB, HP6435/PB uniquemen) de massage peut vous aider à éviter les poils incarnés. Quand la surface de la peau est brossée avec un loofah, les poils fins continueront à croître sans problèmes. Ne brossez pas la surface de la peau immédiatement avant ou après l'épilation.

-Après utilisation, vous pouvez appliquer une crême douce ou un lait corporel qui aidera à réduire une irritation possible de la peau après l'épilation.

-Les poils sont plus facile à épiler après un bain ou une douche, mais votre peau doit être complètement sèche durant l'épilation.

-Au début, il est conseillé de s'épiler le soir, afin de laisser les rougeurs disparaître pendant la nuit.

Congeler le pack givrant

C 1 Retirez le manchon du pack givrant.

C 2 Mettez le pack givrant sans le manchon

dans la partie freezer ou dans la partie

congélation de votre réfrigérateur ;

6 heures au moins avant de vous épiler.

Assurez vous que le pack givrant est parfaitement sec avant de le congeler.

Suggestion:Vous pouvez conserver le pack givrant dans le freezer du réfrigérateur en permanence.

Epilation des jambes

Assurez-vous que votre peau soit propre, sans huile ni crêmes. N'appliquez aucune crême avant l'épilation.

1Glissez le pack givrant dans son manchon.

2Cliquetez le pack givrant et son manchon sur l'appareil.

3 Branchez la fiche dans la prise de courant.

C 4 Mettez en marche l'appareil en sélectionant la vitesse désirée.

Vitesse I: pour les zones où les poils sont plus fins, aux emplacements difficiles à atteindre et ceux

avec des os sous la peau (comme les genoux et les chevilles).

Vitesse II: Pour des surfaces plus grandes et/ou des poils plus épais.

C 5 Tendez la peau avec votre main libre pour redresser les poils.

6Placez l'appareil à angle droit sur la peau, avec le commutateur marche/arrêt dans le sens de déplacement de l'appareil. Déplacez l'appareil lentement sur la peau dans le sens inverse de la pousse des poils.

Assurez-vous que les disques épilateurs et le pack givrant touchent votre peau.

N'exercez pas de pression.

7Il faut allonger la jambe quand vous épiler le derrrière de la jambe.

8Placez le commutateur marche/arrêt en position O (off).
