This product is intended for use in indoor environments and only for private, domestic purposes. The product can be used on all normally flammable, smooth surfaces. The product is not intended for com­mercial use. The manufacturer is not liable for damage caused by improper use.

Check the product for damage
before use. Never use a damaged product.

by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given super­vision or instruction concern­ing use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the

Protect the product from sharp
edges, mechanical loads and hot surfaces.
Do not expose the product to
high temperatures or moisture, otherwise the product may be damaged.
Do not secure with sharp sta-
ples or nails.
Never open a component of
the electrical equipment or insert anything into a compo­nent of the electrical equipment.
If the light chain is not in use
for any length of time (e.g. holidays), disconnect it from the power supply.
The power cable cannot be
repaired! Should the cable be damaged, the product must be rendered useless and must be disposed off appropriately.
Ensure that the available net-
work voltage agrees with the required operational voltage of the device before use (100–240 V∼).
Always check the product for
damage before connecting it to the power supply.
Always unplug the mains
adapter from the socket be­fore installation, dismantling or cleaning.
This product does not contain
any parts that can be serviced by the user. The bulbs cannot be replaced.

Battery safety

LIFE! Batteries are not intended
for children. Do not leave batteries lying around. They may otherwise be swallowed by children or pets. If accidentally swallowed seek immediate medical attention.

recharge non-re­chargeable batteries, short­circuit and / or open batteries.

throw batteries into fire or water. The batter­ies may explode.
Keep the battery out of reach
of children, do not throw the battery into fire, do not short­circuit or take the battery apart.
Avoid contact with the skin,
eyes and mucous membranes. In the event of contact with battery acid, thoroughly flush the affected area with clean water and seek immediate medical attention.
If necessary, clean the battery
and device contacts before inserting the battery.
When inserting the battery
ensure the correct polarity! This is shown in the battery compartment.
Only use the same type of
batteries.
Remove the battery from the
device if it is not going to be used for a prolonged period.
Remove depleted batteries
from the device immediately. There is an increased risk of leaks!
Avoid extreme environmental
conditions and temperatures as they may affect batteries e.g. above radiators. Other­wise there is an increased risk of leaking.
Failure to follow safety instruc-
tions may drain batteries be­yond their end voltage. This will then pose a risk of leak­ing. If the battery has leaked inside your device, you should remove it immediately in order to prevent damage to the device!

Batteries must not be disposed

All end users are legally re-
quired to dispose of batteries properly.
Mounting (see Fig. A)
Note: Clean the surface well
onto which you wish to mount the product. The surface must be
clean, free from grease and dry. Other­wise the stickiness of the double­sided adhesive tape

limited. Note: Before use, check on a hidden area of the surface, whether the adhesive can cause damage. Note: you will need a drill for installation.

driver and the LED strip. Note: Ensure when connect­ing the LED driver the LED strip that you align the +RGB markings on the LED driver with the +RGB marking of LED strip.
Please ensure that the mains
plug of the transformer is al­ways accessible.

mains socket before you turn on the product.

Note: Ensure when connecting the ends of the LED strip using the eight point plug that you align the +RGB markings on the ends of the strips with each other.
Shorten the LED strip (see Fig C):
You are able to individually shorten the LED strip. It can be cut with scissors at the marked position, as shown in Fig. C. The cut pieces can be connected together as shown in the diagram.

Before performing any work, first disconnect the light from the mains power. Remove the mains plug from the socket.
Connect as described below:
Remove the protective foil from
the double-sided sticky tape at the ends of the component pieces of the LED strip being connected. Firmly press the end of one strip onto the contact spikes of the connector so that this pierces the strip conductor of
LED
the LED strip from below. Note: Ensure that you align the +RGB markings on the connector marking of LED strip.
Press a plastic clip 1 onto the
newly-made connection from above. Use upper 11 and lower meta clip 12 to secure the connection. Note: The clips must engage to secure the connection.
Proceed in the same manner
for forming a contact on the other end of the connector. Note: The connectors can move in every direction, unlike the LED strip.

Changing the battery
If the range of the remote control is reduced, you must change the battery.
To do this, pull the battery
drawer out of the back of the remote control and remove the battery
Insert a new battery as shown
in the figure on the back of the remote control.

Cleaning and Care
Use only a dry, lint-free cloth
for cleaning.
Disposal
The packaging is made from environmentally friendly materials, which may be disposed through your local recycling fa­cilities.
Contact your local authorities for information on how to dispose of the product at the end of product life.
Never dispose of
the product in your regular household waste!
Dispose of the device / article at an authorised disposal centre or at your local council disposal facility.
Observe the applicable regulations. In case of doubt, please contact your waste disposal centre.
Defective or used batteries must be recycled in accordance with Directive 2006 / 66 / EC. Return batteries and / or the device to the recycling facilities offered.
