appareil. Vous avez opté pour un produit
de grande qualité. La notice d‘utilisation
fait partie intégrante de celui-ci. Elle contient des
indications importantes pour la sécurité, l‘utilisation
et le traitement des déchets. Avant d‘utiliser le produit, veuillez prendre connaissance de toutes les
indications d’utilisation et de sécurité. Utilisez ce
produit uniquement conformément aux instructions
et dans les domaines d’application spécifiés. Lorsque
vous remettez l‘appareil à des tiers, veuillez également leur remettre tous les documents. Avant la mise
en service, vérifiez si la tension est correcte et si
toutes les pièces sont correctement montées.
Utilisation conforme
Cette lampe est exclusivement conçue pour un usage
intérieur, dans des locaux secs et fermés. Ce produit
est destiné uniquement à un usage dans les foyers
domestiques. Toutes utilisations autres ou modifications
du produit sont considérées comme non conformes
à l’usage prévu et peuvent être la source de risques,
par exemple de risques de blessures et d’endommagements. Le fabricant décline toute responsabilité
pour les dégâts résultant d‘une utilisation non

Prévention de risques mortels
par électrocution
Avant chaque branchement sur le secteur,
contrôlez le bon état de la lampe et du câble
d‘alimentation avec la fiche secteur. N‘utilisez
jamais la lampe si vous constatez le moindre
dommage.
ATTENTION ! Des câbles secteur
endommagés impliquent un danger
de mort par électrocution. Le câble
flexible externe ne peut être remplacé; si le
câble est endommagé, il faut mettre la lampe
au rebut.
Évitez impérativement tout contact de la lampe
avec de l‘eau ou d‘autres liquides.
Ne montez pas la lampe sur des surfaces
support humides ou conductrices.
N‘ouvrez jamais les composants électriques
(par ex. interrupteurs, douille et.) et n‘insérez
aucun objet quelconque dans ceux-ci. De telles
interventions impliquent un danger de mort par
électrocution.
Uniquement saisir la fiche secteur par les par-
ties isolées pour la brancher ou la débrancher !
Avant d‘effectuer le montage, vérifiez que la
tension secteur correspond à la tension de service requise de la lampe (220 - 240 Volt ∼).

Leuchte und das Netzkabel mit Netzstecker auf

sinn in die Fassung (Abb. E).

Entsorgung
Die Verpackung und das Verpackungsmaterial bestehen ausschließlich aus umweltfreundlichen Materialien. Sie können
in den örtlichen Recyclingbehältern entsorgt werden.
Das Symbol der durchgestrichenen Abfalltonne auf Rädern bedeutet, dass das
Produkt in der Europäischen Union einer
getrennten Müllsammlung zugeführt werden muss.
Dies gilt für das Produkt und alle mit diesem Symbol
gekennzeichneten Zubehörteile. Gekennzeichnete
Produkte dürfen nicht über den normalen Hausmüll
entsorgt werden, sondern müssen an einer Annahmestelle für das Recycling von elektrischen und elektronischen Geräten abgegeben werden.

To avoid danger to life from
electric shock
Before connecting the lamp to the mains, always
check it and the mains lead / plug for any damage. Never use your lamp if you discover that
it is damaged in any way.
CAUTION! A damaged mains
lead presents a serious danger to
life from electric shock. The external
flexi-cable cannot be replaced, if the cable is
damaged then the lamp must be disposed of.
Never let the lamp come into contact with
water or other liquids.
Do not install the lamp on damp if conductive
surfaces.
Never open any electrical devices such as
switches, fittings etc. or allow any object to be
inserted into them. This sort of interference can
lead to a serious danger to life from electric
shock.
Touch only the insulated part of the plug when
connecting to or disconnecting from the mains
supply.
Before installation ensure that the available
mains voltag e agrees with the operating voltage required for the lamp (220–240 V ∼).
To avoid danger of fire
and injury
DANGER OF BURNS! Ensure the lamp has
been switched off and allowed to cool before
you touch it. In this way you will avoid the danger of burns. Light bulbs develop a great deal
of heat.
Replace defective bulbs immediately. Before re-
placing the bulb, always remove the mains
plug from the mains socket.

Allow the lamp to cool for at least 15 minutes
before replacing a defective bulb.

Loosen the nut 6 from the lamp head 2 by
turning it anti-clockwise (fig. B).
Pull the lamp shade 1 over the lamp head 2
(fig. C).
Tightly screw the nut 6 clockwise back on to
the lamp head
Use a clean, lint-free cloth to insert the lamp.
Screw the light bulb 7 clockwise into the light
bulb socket (fig. E).

Replacing a bulb
CAUTION! DANGER TO LIFE BY ELEC-
TRIC SHOCK! Unplug the mains plug

Allow the lamp to cool down for 15 minutes
before replacing.
Turn the defective light bulb 7 anti-clockwise
out of the bulb socket.
Use a clean, fluff-free cloth when you are re-
placing a bulb.
Screw the light bulb 7 clockwise into the light
bulb socket (fig. E).

Cleaning and maintenance

Do not use solvents such as petrol and the like
as they could damage the lamp.
For electrical safety reasons, never clean the
lamp with water or other fluids or immerse it in
water.
Only clean with a dry, lint-free cloth, a brush or
a feather duster.
