BlackBerry News Feeds
About the BlackBerry News Feeds app
With the BlackBerry® News Feeds app, you can stay up-to-date and receive the latest news and information from your favorite blogs and
websites in one location.
You can read web feeds and blogs, and view the full content of articles in the browser. You can also send a link to an article to a friend.
Requirements
•at least 525 KB of application storage
•BlackBerry® Device Software 4.6 or later
Log in with your BlackBerry ID
1.On the Home screen, click the BlackBerry News Feeds icon.
2. On the login screen, do one of the following:
• If you already have a BlackBerry ID, click I already have one. Type your user name and password. Click Log in.
• If you don't have a BlackBerry ID, click I need one. Click I Accept. Complete the fields that appear on the screen. Click Signup.
Add an RSS feed
1.On the BlackBerry News Feeds screen, press the Menu key > Add Feed.
• To find a specific RSS feed, in the Search field, type the web address or search term for the RSS feed. Press the Enter key.
• To choose from available RSS feeds, click a category in the content library.
2. Highlight the RSS feed that you want to add.
3. Press the Menu key > Subscribe.
View the full content of an article
When you are viewing an article, press the Menu key > Full Article.

Receive notifications for an RSS feed
When you set an alert for an RSS feed, you receive notification when new articles appear in the feed.
1.On the News Feeds screen, highlight the feed that you want to receive notifications for.
2. Press the Menu key > Set Alert.
To also receive notifications for new articles in your message inbox, on the News Feeds screen, press the Menu key. Click Options. Change
the Integrate with Messages Application field to Yes.
Send a link to an article
1.When you are viewing an article, press the Menu key > Forward As.
2. Click a message type.
Delete an RSS feed
1.On the BlackBerry News Feeds screen, highlight an RSS feed.
2. Press the Menu key > Delete Feed > Delete.
Change the refresh options for RSS feeds
You can choose to refresh your RSS feeds automatically to view the latest articles.
1.Press the Menu key > Options.
• To refresh your RSS feeds automatically, change the Auto-update enabled field to Yes.
• To change how often your RSS feeds are refreshed, change the Update Interval field.
2. Press the Menu key > Save.
Import your Viigo RSS feeds
1.On the News Feeds screen, press the Menu key > Add Feed.
2. On the Add New Feed screen, press the Menu key > Import Viigo Subscriptions.
3. Complete the instructions on the screen.
