LIMITE DE GARANTIE

Sony Electronics Inc. et Sony du Canada Ltée. ( « SONY » ) garantissent comme suit ce produit contre tout dèfaut de matièriau et de fabrication :

1.MAIN-D’OEUVRE : Si ce produit s'avère défectueux dans un délai de ( 1 ) une anneé à compter de la date d’achat, Sony le réparera ou le remplacara par un produit neuf ou remis à neuf ou paiera les frais de main-d'oeuvre pour la réparation effectuée dans n'importe quel Centre de sevice autorisé par Sony. Une fois la garantie terminée, vous serez responsable des frais de main-d'oeuvre.

2.PIÈCES : Par ailleurs, Sony fournira sans frais des pièces de remplacement neuves ou remises à neuf en échange des pièces défectueuses durant la période de garantie de ( 1 ) une anneé. Une fois la garantie échue, vos devrez payer le coût des pièces.

Pour obtenir le service au titre de la garantie, vous devez apporter le produit ou le faire livrer en port payé dans son emballage d'origine ou dans un emballage lui assurant une aussi bonne protection, à n'importe quel Centre de service autorisé par Sony.

Cette garantie ne couvre pas les instructions au client, l’installation, les réglages initiaux ni les problèmes de réception des signaux.

Cette garantie ne couvre pas les appareils qui ont été altérés, modifíés ou réparés ailleurs qu'à un Centre de service autorisé par Sony pour l'entretien de ce produit, ni les appareils sur lesquels le numéro de série apposé en usine a été modifié ou enlevé. Cette garantie ne couvre pas les dommages esthétiques ou attribuables à des cas de force majeure, accidents, mésusages, abus, négligences, utilisations commerciales ou modifications du produit ou d'un de ses composants. Cette garantie ne couvre pas les produits vendus TEL QUEL ou AVEC TOUS VICES.

Cette garantie n'est valide qu'au Canada et aux États-Unis, et honorée uniquement dans le pays où le produit a été acheté.

Une preuve d'achat sous forme de facture ou de reçu de caisse attestant de la validité de l’achat sous garantie doit être présentée pour obtenir le service sous garantie.

Cette garantie est nulles si le numéro de série apposé en usine a été modifié ou enlevé du produit.

LA RÉPARATION OU LE REMPLACEMENT, TEL QUE PRÉVU PAR LA PRÉSENTE GARANTIE, EST LE SEUL ET UNIQUE RECOURS DU CONSOMMATEUR. SONY NE POURRA ÊTRE TENU RESPONSIBLE DES DOMMAGES INDIRECTS OU IMPRÉVUS QUI RÉSULTERAIENT D’UNE RUPTURE DE GARANTIE EXPRESSE OU IMPLICITE POUR CE PRODUIT. SAUF DANS LE CAS OÙ LA LOI APPLICABLE L’INTERDIT, TOUTE GARANTIE IMPLICITE DE VALEUR MARCHANDE OU DE CONVENANCE À UNE FIN PARTICULIÈRE POUR CE PRODUIT EST LIMITÉE À LA DURÉE DE CETTE GARANTIE.

Certaines provinces et certains états ne permettent pas l’exclusion ou la restriction des dommages imprévus ou indirects et n’admettent pas de limites quant à la durée d’une garantie implicite, de sorte que les exclusions/restrictions exprimées ci-dessus, peuvent ne pas s’appliquer. Cette garantie vous donne des droits spécifiques et vous pouvez en avoir d’autres qui varient selon la province ou l’état.

LIMITED WARRANTY

Sony Electronics Inc. and Sony of Canada Ltd. (“SONY”) warrants this Product against defects in material or workmanship as follows:

1.LABOR: For a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase, if this Product is determined to be defective, Sony will repair or replace the Product with a new or rebuilt unit, at no charge, or pay the labor charges to any Sony authorized service facility. After the Warranty Period, you must pay for all labor charges.

2.PARTS: In addition, Sony will supply, at no charge, new or rebuilt replacements in exchange for defective parts for a period of one (1) year. After the warranty period, you must pay for all parts cost.

To obtain warranty service, you must take the Product, or deliver the Product freight prepaid, in either its original packaging or packaging affording an equal degree of protection, to any authorized Sony Service facility.

This warranty does not cover customer instruction, installation, set up adjustments or signal reception problems.

This warranty does not cover any units which have been previously altered, repaired or serviced by anyone other than a service facility authorized by Sony, or a unit on which the factory-applied serial number has been altered or removed. This warranty does not cover cosmetic damage or damage due to acts of God, accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, commercial use, or modification of, or to any part of the Product. This warranty does not cover damage due to improper operation or maintenance, connection to improper voltage supply. This warranty does not cover products sold AS IS or WITH ALL FAULTS.

This warranty is valid only in the United States and Canada and only in the respective country of purchase.

Proof of purchase in the form of a bill of sale or receipted invoice, which is evidence that the unit is within the Warranty period, must be presented to obtain warranty service.

This warranty is invalid if the factory applied serial number has been altered or removed from the Product.

REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF THE CONSUMER. SONY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY ON THIS PRODUCT. EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ON THIS PRODUCT IS LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY.

Some states and provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state or province to province.
