Thisstructureisintendedtobeself-supporting,provideditisconstructedwithallframes,hardware,sheathing,sheeting,bracing,cables,andmembraneinplace,andsecuredtothefoundationasshowninthemanual.Stabilityduringconstruction,fromwindsandloadsimposedduringerection,isthesoleresponsibilityoftheinstaller.Observesafetycodesrequiredbyyourjurisdiction,andrelevantsafetypracticesforworkingatheights.Avoidth

riskofelectricalshockfromoverheadlinesorelectricalstorms.Poly-Texrecommends
contractingalicensedelectriciantoperformelectricalwork.Eyeprotectionisrecommendedunderallcircumstancesandhearingprotectionisrecommendedwhencuttingcomponentswithpowertools.FoundationsTheseinstructionsincludeminimumguidanceforfoundationsbasedontheInternationalBuildingCode.Theseminimumsaresuitableforsomeareasofthecountrybutnotall.Obtainabuildingpermitifrequiredinthelocaljurisdiction.EngineeredandCertifiedfoundationplansmayberequiredbyabuildingofficialbeforeissuingapermit.Evenifnotrequired,seekingguidancefromaqualifiedstructuralorcivilengineerforthefoundationdesignmayimprovethelifeofthestructure.Nopartofthisstructureisengineeredtofunctionasananchoragepointforafallarrestsystem.Useasafetynetorworkfromasafeworkplatform(i.e.scaffolding).Selectacalmdayforwork.Windcanbesufficientenoughtoknockmaterialsorworkersoffaworkplatformorladder,resultinginapotentiallydeadlyfall.OverviewofassemblyprocedureWhileeachstructureandsiteisunique,andmayrequirespecialconsiderations,theseinstructionsareforatilt-upmethod(whereframesareassembledonthegroundandtiltedontogroundstakesoranchorrodsusingropesorlifts).Ifinstallerisnotconfidenttoerectthestructure,Poly-Texsuggestshiringageneralcontractor,carpenter,orsimilarlicensedbusinessfamiliarwithconstruction,toassembleanderectthestructure.Donotoverloadstructure.ConsultwithaPoly-Texrepresentativepriortoaddinganyamountofweightoverthespecifiedcapacityofthisstructure.Basketpurlins,shelvingoranyobjectsofsignificantweightshallnotbehung,attached,orsecuredtoroofortrussmembersinamannerthatwilloverloadthestructure.Donotwalkonpolycarbonatesheets.Ifstructureistobecoveredwithpolycarbonatesheets,alwaysusescaffoldingfortheerectionprocesstoavoiddamagetosheetingandtoensuresafety.PolycarbonatesheetinghasUVcoatingprotectedwithvinylfilmontheexterior
