Congratulations on the purchase of your new device. With it, you have
chosen a high quality product.
The operating instructions constitute part of this product. They contain important information on safety, use and disposal.
Before using the product, familiarise yourself with all of the operating and safety instructions. Use the product only as described and for the applications specified.
Keep this manual safely and in the event that the product is passed on, hand over all documents to the third party.
Description
The manual scarifier is intended to improve aeration of the ground by removing moss and weeds and dethatching matted lawns. The smooth-running wheels and the blade cylinder with its pivot-mounted rail and
11 stainless steel blades let you work with little effort.
This equipment is not suitable for commercial use.
Commercial use will invalidate the guarantee.
Extent of the delivery
Carefully unpack the appliance and check that it is complete. Dispose of the packaging material correctly.

•Do not work on a wet lawn.
•Move the unit across the lawn such that it does not cut into the ground for more than 1-2 cm.
•After scarifying is a good time to fertilise the lawn and to sow any bald patches.
Safety instructions
Caution - Sharp blades! Risk of cutting yourself!
• Keep your hands and feet away from the blades.
•Wear tough shoes - do not operate the scarifier with bare feet or when wearing open sandals.
•Do not leave the scarifier lying on the ground with the blades facing up.
•Children should be supervised to prevent them from playing with the appliance.
•Put on the blade cover when the unit is not in use.
Assembly (see picture)
1.Screw together the two parts of the handle (1a + 1b)
2.Screw the stem (1) onto the blade cylinder (2) and secure the screw connection with the locknut (4), spring ring (5) and washer (6).
3.Remove the blade cover (3) before using the unit.
Operating instructions
•Scarifying is best done in spring because the lawn is particularly ready to regenerate at that time.
•Scarifying becomes easier the shorter you cut the lawn beforehand.

Cleaning/Storage
Wear gloves when handling the blade cylinder.
Do not use hard or pointed objects for cleaning. These could damage the equipment.
•When you are finished, remove all plant debris from the wheels and the blade cylinder. Do not use hard or pointed tools since they might damage the unit.
•When you are finished, replace the blade cover over the blades on the cylinder and hook the metal bows into the rail.
•The device can be suspended onto the suspension devices (7) from the handle.
•Keep the unit out of the reach of children.
Waste disposal/Environmental protection
Return the tool, accessories and packaging to a recycling centre when you have finished with them.
Hand over the device at an utilization location. Ask our Service-Center for details.

Guarantee
Dear Customer,
This equipment is provided with a 3-year guarantee from the date of purchase.
In case of defects, you have statutory rights against the seller of the product. These statutory rights are not restricted by our guarantee presented below.
Terms of Guarantee
The term of the guarantee begins on the date of purchase. Please retain the original receipt. This document is required as proof of purchase.
If a material or manufacturing defect occurs within three years of the date of purchase of this product, we will repair or replace – at our choice – the product for you free of charge. This guarantee requires the defective equipment and proof of purchase to be presented within the three-year period with a brief written description of what constitutes the defect and when it occurred.
If the defect is covered by our guarantee, you will receive either the repaired product or a new product. No new guarantee period begins on repair or replacement of the product.

Guarantee Period and Statutory Claims for Defects
The guarantee period is not extended by the guarantee service. This also applies for replaced or repaired parts. Any damages and defects already present at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking. Repairs arising after expiry of the guarantee period are chargeable.
Guarantee Cover
The equipment has been carefully produced in accordance with strict quality guidelines and conscientiously checked prior to delivery.
The guarantee applies for all material and manufacturing defects. This guarantee does not extend to cover product parts that are subject to normal wear and may therefore be considered as wearing parts (e.g. filters or attachments) or to cover damage to breakable parts (e.g. switches, batteries, or parts made of glass).
This guarantee shall be invalid if the product has been damaged, used incorrectly or not maintained. Precise adherence to all of the instructions specified in the operating manual is required for proper use of the product. Intended uses and actions against which the operating manual advises or warns must be categorically avoided.
The product is designed only for private and not commercial use. The guarantee will be invalidated in case of misuse or improper handling, use of force, or interventions not undertaken by our authorised service branch.

To ensure quick handling of you issue, please follow the following directions:

•Please have the receipt and identification number (IAN 95942) ready as proof of purchase for all enquiries.
•Please find the item number on the rating plate.
•Should functional errors or other defects occur, please initially contact the
service department specified below by telephone or by e-mail. You will then receive further information on the processing of your complaint.
•After consultation with our customer service, a product recorded as defective can be sent postage paid to the service address communicated to you, with the proof of purchase (receipt) and specification of what constitutes the defect and when it occurred. In order to avoid acceptance problems and additional costs, please be sure to use only the address communicated to you. Ensure that the consignment is not sent carriage forward or by bulky goods, express or other special freight. Please send the equipment inc. all accessories supplied at the time of purchase and ensure adequate, safe transport packaging.

Opis
Wertykulator ręczny jest przeznaczony do usuwania mchu, chwastów i filcu z trawników w celu poprawy napowietrzenia gleby. Lekkobieżne kółka i walec nożowy z ułożyskowaną wahliwie szyną i 11 nożami ze stali nierdzewnej umożliwiają nie wymagającą wielkiego wysiłku.
To urządzenie nie jest przeznaczone do zastosowania komercyjnego.
W przypadku użytkowania komercyjnego wygasają prawa z tytułu gwarancji.

Zasady bezpieczeństwa
Uwaga - ostre noże tnące! Niebezpieczeństwo zranienia - rany cięte!
•Trzymaj stopy i ręce z daleka od noży.
•Zawsze noś twarde, zabezpieczone przed przecięciem buty i nie używaj urządzenia, jeżeli jesteś boso lub masz na nogach otwarte sandały.
•Nie pozostawiaj urządzenia położonego na trawie nożami do góry.
•Dzieci należy nadzorować, aby wykluczyć zabawę urządzeniem.
•W czasie przechowywania urządzenia musi być założona osłona noży.
Montaż (patrz rysunek)
1.Skręć dwuczęściowy trzonek (1a + 1b).
2.Przykręcić drążek (1) do walca nożowego (2) i zabezpieczyć połączenie śrubowe przeciwnakrętką (4), podkładką sprężystą (5) i podkładką (6).
3.Przed uruchomieniem urządzenia zdejmij osłonę noży (3).
Wskazówki dotyczące pracy z urządzeniem
•Wertykulację zaleca się na wiosnę, jako że trawa ma tym okresie dużą zdolność do regeneracji.

•Im krócej jest skoszona trawa, tym łatwiej daje się wertykulować.
•Nie pracuj na mokrej trawie.
•Prowadź urządzenie po trawie tak, by głębokość cięcia nigdy nie wynosiła więcej niż 1-2 cm.
•Po wertykulacji zaleca się nawiezienie trawnika, a w przypadku luk dosiew.
Czyszczenie, przechowywanie
Przy manipulowaniu walcem tnącym noś rękawice!
Do czyszczenia nie używać przedmiotów twardych ani ostro zakończonych, mogą one uszkodzić urządzenie.
•Po zakończeniu pracy usuwaj resztki roślin z kółek i walca nożowego. Nie używaj do tego celu twardych ani ostrych przedmiotów, możesz w ten sposób uszkodzić urządzenie.
•Po zakończeniu pracy załóż na noże walca nożowego osłonę i podczep pałąki metalowe do szyny.
•Urządzenie można zawiesić za wieszak
(7) znajdujący się na trzonku.
•Przechowuj urządzenie w miejscu niedostępnym dla dzieci.
Usuwanie i ochrona środowiska
Przekaż urządzenie, jego akcesoria i opakowanie do zgodnej z przepisami o ochronie środowiska naturalnego utylizacji.

Szanowna Klientko, Szanowny Kliencie, na zakupione urządzenie otrzymują Państwo 3 lata gwarancji od daty zakupu.
W przypadku wad tego produktu przysługują Państwu ustawowe prawa w stosunku do sprzedawcy produktu. Prawa te nie są ograniczone przez naszą przedstawioną niżej gwarancję.
Warunki gwarancji
Okres gwarancji rozpoczyna się z datą zakupu. Prosimy zachować oryginalny paragon. Będzie on potrzebny jako dowód zakupu.
Jeśli w okresie trzech lat od daty zakupu tego produktu wystąpi wada materiałowa lub fabryczna, produkt zostanie – wedle naszego wyboru – bezpłatnie naprawiony lub wymieniony.
