CDR600-602
CHANGE IN COURSE OF PRODUCTION
From production week 0127 onwards the Power Supply Unit (pos. 1003) has been changed from
“PSU-CDR3-ECO” to “SMPS CDR785”.
Sets with the new Power Supply Unit can be identified by factory change code VN020127... or higher.
The complete boards can be ordered with following code numbers:
3103 308 52960 SMPS CDR785 EU /00
3103 308 52970 SMPS CDR785 US /17
To adapt the set to the new Power Supply following additional changes were implemented:
- support frame pos. 184 added → see new Exploded View attached to this Service Information
- 4,7kΩ resistor soldered on Power Supply Board between pin 1 and 2 of connector 1
- cables 8002 and 8006 replaced by a special Y-cable 8010 → see new Wiring Diagram attached to this Service
Information
NOTE: In case of a failure the new Power Supply Units are intended to be replaced completely.
For orientation block diagrams, schematic diagrams and assembly drawings are attached to this Service
Information.
In CDR600/00 the European version “SMPS CDR785 EU /00” and the World Wide version
“SMPS CDR785 WW /01” of the Power Supply Unit will be used alternatively.
For Service it is recommended always to replace by the European version.
Service will deliver the new Power Supply Units without the 4,7kΩ resistor soldered on the board.
When the unit has to be exchanged the resistor has to be soldered onto the new board.
