Thank you for purchasing the Hitachi Plasma Display Video Unit.
To ensure correct usage, please read this instruction manual thoroughly.
This Plasma Display Video Unit is for use only with the following models: 42PMA500* and PW1 chassis's models
Preparations for Installation
Cushioning Material
* When installing the video unit, please be sure to turn off the power switch and disconnect the power plug from the power outlet.
* Please set a cushioning material (ex. The plasma display packing bag) on a flat surface or table, in order to prevent damage to the plasma display, and place the plasma display to horizontal softly on the cushioning material.
Before setting, please be careful to be not foreign objects on the placing surface.
* In case of using Hitachi Plasma Display Tabletop Stand, the video unit is able to install after installing the plasma display to the tabletop stand.
* Please prepare a screwdriver for cross recessed head screw.

Set the video unit into the concave place of the plasma display. |

4. Video Unit Fixing
For fixing the video unit, screw two screws of (b) which were removed on the process 2 to the same screw holes.
NoteThe screwing torque is 0.5 ~ 0.8 N•m {5 ~ 8 kgf•cm }.
Over torque could cause the screw hole broken. |

Ce Dispositif Vidéo à Écran Plasma doit seulement être utilisé avec les modèles suivants : modèles de châssis 42PMA500* et PW1
Préparer l'Installation
Matériel de rembourrage
* Lors de l'installation du Dispositif Vidéo, assurez-vous de bien éteindre le commutateur d'alimentation, et de déconnecter la fiche
d'alimentation de la prise de courant.
* Veuillez placer un matériel de rembourrage (par ex., le sac d'emballage
de l'écran plasma) sur une surface plane ou sur une table, afin d'éviter d'endommager l'écran plasma, puis posez doucement
l'écran plasma à l'envers sur le matériel de rembourrage. Avant de placer l'écran plasma sur la surface plane, veuillez vous assurer
qu'elle est libre d'objets étrangers.
* Si vous utilisez le Support de Table de l'Écran Plasma Hitachi, vous pouvez installer le dispositif vidéo après avoir fixé l'écran plasma au
support de table. * Un tournevis est nécessaire pour la vis à empreinte cruciforme.

Instructions d'Installation
1. Retirer la Plaque Obturatrice
Enlevez les deux vis (a) à l'aide d'un tournevis, et retirez la plaque obturatrice.
2. Retirer les Vis de Fixation du Dispositif Vidéo
Retirez les deux vis (b) à l'aide d'un tournevis. Ces vis servent à fixer le dispositif vidéo.

3. Installer le Dispositif Vidéo
Introduisez le dispositif vidéo dans la partie concave de l'écran |
