These vandal-resistant domes are designed to provide award-winning infrared illumination from a housing resistant to even the most brutal attacks. Delivering up to 12 meters (40 feet) of illumination, each dome installs quickly and easily onto ceilings and walls with conduit compatibility.
Each dome contains high-performance LEDs mounted to a heat-sinking double-gimbal that can be easily adjusted to point in the desired direction. An adjustable photocell ensures accurate on/off switching. The infrared is also intensity-adjustable so that the optimal level of illumination can be selected. The IR domes are ideal for infrared enhancement of dark areas in restaurants, nightclubs, warehouses and wherever video surveillance requires night-time performance under covert or semi-covert conditions. The domes base is constructed of CNC-milled anodized aluminum, an incredibly durable material with high corrosion resistance and heat-resistant to over 1,200 ºF. Anodized aluminum has excellent chemical stability and resists changes to color or appearance, even under heavy exposure to ultraviolet rays. The one-piece CNC fabrication process ensures
