Introduction

Congratulations on the purchase of your new appliance! You have decided in favour of a modern, high-quality product. These operating

instructions are part of this product. They contain important information on safety, usage and disposal. Before using the product, familiarise yourself with all handling and safety guidelines. This appliance may only be used as described and for the purposes indicated. Please also pass these operating instructions on to any future owner(s).

Intended use

This appliance is intended exclusively for heating up foodstuﬀ s and keeping them warm. This appliance is intended solely for use in private homes. Do not use it for commercial purposes.

Use the appliance only in dry places, and never use it outdoors.

The appliance may pose a hazard if it is not used for its intended purpose and/or if it is used for any other purpose.

Package contents

The appliance is supplied with the following components as standard:

1) Remove all parts of the appliance and the operating instructions from the box.

2) Remove all packaging material.

NOTE

Check the package for completeness and for signs of visible damage.

► ► If the consignment is incomplete or damaged due to defective packaging

or carriage, contact the Service hotline (see the chapter Service).

Disposal of packaging materials

The packaging protects the appliance from damage during carriage. The packaging materials have been selected for their environmental friendliness and ease of disposal, and are therefore recyclable.

Returning the packaging to the materials cycle conserves raw materials and reduces the amount of waste that is generated. Dispose of packaging materials that are no longer needed in accordance with applicable local regulations.

NOTE

If possible, preserve the appliance's original packaging during the warranty

period so that, in the event of a warranty claim, you can repackage the appliance properly for return.

Safety guidelines

RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK

► Ensure that the power cable never becomes wet or damp

when the appliance is in use. Route the cable so that it cannot be trapped or damaged in any way.

► After use, always disconnect the plug from the mains power

socket.

► Just switching oﬀ the appliance is not suﬃ cient, as the ap-

pliance is subject to mains voltage for as long as the plug is connected to the mains power socket.

► Protect the hob from damage: Do not load it unevenly and

do not allow objects to fall onto it. Do not continue to use the appliance if either the hob or the housing is damaged. If this is the case, immediately remove the plug from the mains power socket and arrange for the appliance to be repaired.

► To prevent accidents, have defective plugs and/or power

cables replaced immediately by a qualiﬁ ed specialist technician or our Customer Service department.

► If the surface of the hob is cracked, disconnect the plug from

the mains power socket to avoid receiving an electric shock.

Ensure that the appliance, the power cable and the power plug are never immersed in water or other ﬂ uids.

WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!

► Do not touch the area where a hot cooking vessel has just

been standing. Directly after cooking, this area can be very hot.

► This appliance may be used by children aged eight years

and above and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge if they are being supervised or have been instructed with regard to the safe use of the appliance and have understood the potential risks.

► The appliance must not be used as a plaything by children. ► Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by

children unless they are older than eight years of age and are supervised.

► Children younger than eight years of age must be kept away

from the appliance and the power cable.

► Do not heat sealed cans or other sealed containers.

WARNING! RISK OF FIRE!

► Overheated foodstuﬀ s can start burning! Never leave the appli-

ance unsupervised while it is in use.

► Additionally, never position the appliance below ﬂ ammable ob-

jects, especially not below curtains.

► Never heat a securely closed container. Heat expansion can

quickly cause an explosion.

► Never heat an empty container. This would overheat very

quickly, leading to a risk of ﬁ re and serious damage to the hob.

► Do not place any metallic objects, such as kitchen utensils or

cutlery, on the hob. They can become very hot in the induction ﬁ eld.

► Be careful when heating small amounts of oil: do not use a

high setting or temperature level. Otherwise, the oil can burn and catch ﬁ re!

► Never operate the appliance on a metal table or other me-

tallic surface. This may heat up and thus cause a ﬁ re. Or the appliance could become irreparably damaged.

► Do not operate the appliance using an external time-switch

or a separate remote control system.

To avoid hazards caused by electromagnetic

ﬁ elds:

► Maintain a minimum distance of 1 m from appliances that

are sensitive to electromagnetic ﬁ elds (e.g. screens, clocks, magnetic storage media, electronic devices, etc.).

► Medical devices, such as heart pacemakers, hearing aids

and other appliances, may need to be kept at a greater distance. If in doubt, consult the manufacturer of the medical device!

Function

Whilst standard hotplates heat up themselves, in an induction hotplate the heat is created in the base of the cookware. The hob itself does not heat up; it becomes hot when food is heated upon it in a pan and the heat from the pan reﬂ ects onto the hob. (Reverse heating).

This is caused by an energy ﬁ eld that generates heat only in magnetically conductive materials, for example, pans made of iron. In other materials, such as porcelain, glass or ceramic, the energy ﬁ eld cannot generate any heating eﬀ ect.

Suitable cookware

Only use cookware that is suitable for induction hobs:

■ Suitable cookware consists of pots and pans with a base made of steel or

cast iron. You can identify these either by means of the markings on the pan or by ascertaining whether a magnet clings to the base of the pan.

■ Unsuitable cookware is made from any kind of metal that is non-magnetic,

such as aluminium, copper and stainless steel, as well as non-metallic vessels made of porcelain, glass, ceramic, plastics, etc. If unsuitable cookware is placed on the hobs 1/2, “E0” appears in the relevant display 0/u.

■ Thin pan bases are better suited to induction cooking than thick sandwich

bases. The very short response times to setting modiﬁ cations (short preheating period, rapid and controllable browning) are not possiblewhen pans with thick bases are used.

Only use cookware that is suitable for the size of the hob 1/2. This the only way to ensure that the induction hob functions perfectly. The base of the pan may not be uneven, rather, it must sit ﬂ at.

The diameter may not be less than 16 cm to ensure that the energy ﬁ eld has an eﬀ ect. Do not use pans with a diameter in excess of 26 cm.

Energy-eﬃ cient cooking

■ In order to use the energy, which is needed for heating food, in the most en-

vironmentally friendly way, we recommend using a pan with a wide diameter and one that is not very deep instead of a deep pan with a small diameter. The food is heated more quickly since the surface area of the pan being heated is greater with a large diameter. Never use pans with a diameter greater than 26 cm.

■ If you want to heat food quickly, place a lid on the pan. This ensures that less

heat escapes.

Setting up

The appliance requires unrestricted ventilation to prevent overheating. Therefore, set up the appliance so that ...

– there is an all-round clearance of at least 10 cm, e.g. to the nearest wall, – at least 60 cm clearance above, e.g. to a suspended wall cabinet.

■ When moving the appliance, hold it by the recessed handles 3/6.

■ For cooling purposes, the appliance draws in air through openings on the

base. Do not place it on textiles or ﬂ eecy surfaces, such as tablecloths. Operate it only on smooth surfaces.

■ Do not place it adjacent to curtains or other textiles which, due to the airﬂ ow,

could cling to the appliance.

■ Do not place it on surfaces which may contain ferric or steel materials.

These may become very hot.

■ Maintain a minimum distance of 1 m from appliances that are sensitive to

electromagnetic ﬁ elds (e.g. screens, clocks, magnetic storage media, electronic devices, etc.).

■ Wipe the hobs with a damp cloth to remove soiling sustained during trans-

Electrical connection

When you have unpacked and set up the appliance as described, connect the plug to a mains power socket.

■ Before you connect the appliance, ensure that the connection data (voltage

and frequency) speciﬁ ed on the data plate tally with that speciﬁ ed on your mains power supply.

■ The mains power socket must be protected by a 16A circuit breaker.

■ Do not use an extension cable to connect the appliance. In the event of an

emergency, the plug must be quickly accessible.

■ Do not route the power cable over the appliance or over hot and/or sharp-

edged surfaces.

■ Ensure that the power cable cannot become trapped.

The electrical safety of the appliance is only assured when it is connected to a correctly installed protective conductor system. Operation on a mains power socket without a protective conductor is prohibited. If in doubt, arrange for the house wiring to be checked by a qualiﬁ ed electrician.

The manufacturer is not liable for damage caused in consequence of a missing or interrupted protective conductor.

Operation

The hobs

Both hobs 1/2 have 6 power levels:

Operation

1) Place the cooking vessel, with its contents, squarely on one of the hobs 1/2.

ture in excess of 50°C, the respective display 0/u will show "-H-".

TIPS

You may select between cooking with power levels or cooking with temperature settings:

► When you are cooking in the temperature mode, the appliance heats the

cooking vessel to the set temperature. If the temperature falls below the set temperature, the appliance heats up again. The temperature is thus maintained at the desired level.

► By adjusting the "power level", the cooking vessel is heated at varying

speeds. The higher the selected power level, the faster the cookware is heated.

Always use the buttons on the appropriate control panel 4/5 for the respective hob 1/2. You may use the two hobs 1/2 independently of one another.

3) Press the POWER button w/o. The preset wattage can be seen on the display 0/u (right hob 2 1000 W/left hob 1 1200 W). The indicator light above the POWER button w/o comes on.

NOTE

If you wish to cook in temperature level mode, press the TEMP button 8/t

►

instead of the POWER button w/o. The preset temperature of 240°C will then appear on the display 0/u.

4) Press the buttons “+” q/i or “-” 9/z as often as is required until the desired wattage/temperature appears on the display 0/u.

5) In order to switch oﬀ the hob 1/2, press and hold down the “POWER” button w/o until the hob 1/2 switches oﬀ . To turn both hobs 1/2 oﬀ at the same time, press the “ON/OFF” button e.

NOTE

If both hobs 1/2 are switched oﬀ after use or adjustment, you must ﬁ rst

press the "ON/OFF" button e to be able to re-adjust the settings.

NOTE

After switching oﬀ in standby mode, the appliance’s fans continue to run for

►

a while to discharge the heat. As long as the hobs 1/2 are at a temperature in excess of 50°C, the respective display 0/u will show “-H-”. As long as „-H-“ is shown on the display 0/u, you can reactivate the hobs 1/2 by pressing the POWER w/o or TEMP 8/t buttons.

NOTE

If no button is depressed for a period of two hours, the appliance will switch

►

oﬀ even if one or both of the hobs 1/2 is/are in operation. If you wish to wish to cook a dish for more than two hours, or to keep food warm for more than two hours, adjust the desired time using the timer (see the "Timer" section). In this way, times of up to three hours can be set.

Safety cut-oﬀ

■ For safety reasons, the pan detection switches the appliance oﬀ automatically

(into standby mode) if you remove the cooking vessel from the hob 1/2 or fail to place a cooking vessel on it.

■ If you remove the cooking vessel from the hob 1/2, there will be 20 beeps.

The appliance will then switch oﬀ . If you place the cooking vessel back on the hob 1/2 before the 20 beeps have ﬁ nished, the previously deﬁ ned settings will be retained.

NOTE

As soon as you remove the cooking vessel from the hob 1/2, "E0" is

►

shown on the display. After approx. one minute, the "E0" disappears and the appliance switches itself oﬀ . If the hob is still at a temperature in excess of 50°C, "-H-" will show on the respective display until the temperature drops below 50°C.

Timer

You can preselect a time period from 5–180 mins., after which the respective hob 1/2 will switch oﬀ .

1) Begin the cooking procedure (in power or temperature mode) as explained above.

2) Press the “TIME” button 7/r. “0” appears on the display 0/u. Set the desired time. If you brieﬂ y press the “+” q/i or “-” 9/z buttons, the time increases or decreases by 5 minutes each time the button is depressed. If you press and hold down the “+” q/i or “-” 9/z button, the time increases or decreases by 10 minutes for each time the button is depressed.

The display 0/u now alternately shows the set power level/temperature and the time that remains until switch-oﬀ .

After this time, the respective hob 1/2 switches oﬀ automatically.

Child safety lock

To prevent unauthorised switching on or setting modiﬁ cation, for instance by children, this appliance is ﬁ tted with a child safety lock.

NOTE

It does not matter whether you activate the child safety lock using the but-

►

tons "+" i and "-" z or using the buttons "+" z and "-" i. All buttons, except the "ON/OFF" button e, are always locked.

NOTE

You can also the child safety lock as a safe-wipe function:

►

Before you wipe the buttons with a damp cloth, activate the child safety lock. This helps avoid any inadvertent activation of buttons.

When the appliance is in operation:

■ Press the “+” q/i and “-” 9/z buttons together. “Loc” (LOCK), alternating

with the set power level/temperature, will show on the display 0/u. Now all buttons, including the “ON/OFF” button e are locked.

■ If a single hob 1/2 is activated, the respective display 0/u shows

“Loc” (LOCK), alternating with the set power level/temperature. “Loc” is permanently shown on the display 0/u of the hob 1/2 that is not in operation.

■ To deactivate the child safety lock, press the “+” q/i and “-” 9/z buttons

together. The buttons can now be activated again.

When the appliance is switched oﬀ :

■ Press the “ON/OFF” button e to switch on the appliance.

■ Press the “+” q/i and “-” 9/z buttons together. “Loc” (LOCK) appears

on the display 0/u. Now, all buttons, except the “ON/OFF” button e are locked. After 10 seconds, the appliance will switch itself oﬀ .

■ If you press the “ON/OFF” button e again in order to switch the appli-

ance on, the display shows 0/u “Loc”, and the buttons remain locked. To deactivate the child safety lock, press the “+” q/i and “-” 9/z buttons again together. The buttons can now be activated again.

When the timer is in operation:

■ Press the “+” q/i and “-” 9/z buttons together. “Loc” (LOCK), alternating

with the current timer time, will show on the display 0/u.

■ To deactivate the child safety lock, press the “+” q/i and “-” 9/z buttons

again together. The buttons can now be activated again.

Cleaning

WARNING – RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!

CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE!

► Always remove the plug from the mains power socket before cleaning the

appliance.

► Under no circumstances should the appliance or any parts thereof

be immersed in liquids! This could result in a potentially fatal electric shock, and the appliance could be damaged.

► Never open the appliance housing! This could lead to a potentially fatal

electric shock!

► Allow the appliance to cool down completely before cleaning it.

Risk of burns!

Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners. These could damage the hobs 1/2

►

of the appliance.

► Do not use aggressive, chemical or abrasive cleaning agents! They could

irreparably damage the surface!

■ Use only a lightly moistened cloth to clean all surfaces and the power cable.

■ Always dry the appliance properly before using it again.

■ You can remove burnt-on soiling on the hobs 1/2 using a scraper speciﬁ -

cally designed for ceramic hobs (available in most shops selling household equipment).

■ If there is any soiling in the area of the ventilation slots on the base of the

appliance, you can attempt to remove this from the outside using a vacuum cleaner.

Storage

■ Store the cleaned and dried appliance in a dust-free and clean location.

Troubleshooting

PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE

The appliance is not working. The indicator light above the ON/OFF button e fails to come on.

Disposal of the appliance

Under no circumstances should you dispose of the appliance with the normal household waste. This product is subject to the provisions of European Directive 2012/19/EU.

Dispose of the appliance via an approved waste disposal company or your municipal waste disposal facility. Please observe applicable regulations. Please contact your waste disposal facility if you are in any doubt.

Notes on the EC Declaration of Conformity

This appliance complies with the essential requirements and other relevant provisions of the European Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive 2014/30/EU, the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU as well as the ErP Directive 2009/125/EC, Ordinance No. 66/2014 Annex I, Sections 2 and 2.2.

Dear Customer, This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from the date of purchase. If this product

has any faults, you, the buyer, have certain statutory rights. Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by the warranty described below.

Warranty conditions

The validity period of the warranty starts from the date of purchase. Please keep your original receipt in a safe place. This document will be required as proof of purchase.

If any material or production fault occurs within three years of the date of purchase of the product, we will either repair or replace the product for you at our discretion. This warranty service is dependent on you presenting the defective appliance and the proof of purchase (receipt) and a short written description of the fault and its time of occurrence.

If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product will either be repaired or replaced by us. The repair or replacement of a product does not signify the beginning of a new warranty period.

Warranty period and statutory claims for defects

The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs eﬀ ected under the warranty. This also applies to replaced and repaired components. Any damage and defects present at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking. Repairs carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall be subject to a fee.

Scope of the warranty

This appliance has been manufactured in accordance with strict quality guidelines and inspected meticulously prior to delivery.

The warranty covers material faults or production faults. The warranty does not extend to product parts subject to normal wear and tear or fragile parts such as switches, batteries, baking moulds or parts made of glass.

The warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged, improperly used or improperly maintained. The directions in the operating instructions for the product regarding proper use of the product are to be strictly followed. Uses and actions that are discouraged in the operating instructions or which are warned against must be avoided.

This product is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes. The warranty shall be deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling, use of force and modiﬁ cations / repairs which have not been carried out by one of our authorised Service centres.

Εισαγωγή

Συγχαρητήρια για την αγορά της νέας σας συσκευής! Με αυτή την αγορά αποφασίσατε την απόκτηση ενός μοντέρνου και υψηλής ποι-

ότητας προϊόντος. Οι οδηγίες χρήσης αποτελούν τμήμα αυτού του προϊόντος. Περιέχουν σημαντικές υποδείξεις για την ασφάλεια, τη χρήση και την απόρριψη. Παραδοτέος εξοπλισμός

Η συσκευή παραδίδεται κανονικά με τα εξής στοιχεία:

1) Αφαιρέστε όλα τα εξαρτήματα της συσκευής και τις οδηγίες χρήσης από το κουτί.

2) Αφαιρέστε όλα τα υλικά της συσκευασίας.

ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΗ

Ελέγξτε τον παραδοτέο εξοπλισμό ως προς την πληρότητα και για εμφανείς

►

φθορές.

► Σε περίπτωση ελλιπούς παραδοτέου εξοπλισμού ή ζημιών λόγω ελλιπούς

συσκευασίας ή λόγω μεταφοράς, απευθυνθείτε στην ανοικτή τηλεφωνική γραμμή εξυπηρέτησης (βλ. κεφάλαιο Σέρβις).

Απόρριψη της συσκευασίας

Η συσκευασία προστατεύει τη συσκευή από φθορές κατά τη μεταφορά. Τα υλικά συσκευασίας έχουν επιλεγεί σύμφωνα με τους οικολογικούς παράγοντες και τους παράγοντες της τεχνικής απόρριψης και για το λόγο αυτό είναι ανακυκλώσιμα.

Η επιστροφή της συσκευασίας στο κύκλωμα υλικών εξοικονομεί πρώτες ύλες και μειώνει την ποσότητα των απορριμμάτων. Απορρίπτετε τα υλικά συσκευασίας που δεν χρησιμοποιούνται πλέον σύμφωνα με τις τοπικές ισχύουσες προδιαγραφές.

Υποδείξεις ασφαλείας

ΚΙΝΔΥΝΟΣ ΗΛΕΚΤΡΟΠΛΗΞΙΑΣ

► Το καλώδιο τροφοδοσίας δεν θα πρέπει να βρέχεται ή να

υγραίνεται ποτέ κατά τη διάρκεια της λειτουργίας. Να το τοποθετείτε έτσι, ώστε να μην υπάρχει περίπτωση να μαγκώσει ή να υποστεί άλλου είδους ζημιά.

► Μετά τη χρήση τραβάτε πάντα το βύσμα από την πρίζα. ► Η απενεργοποίηση από μόνη της δεν αρκεί, διότι υπάρχει

ακόμα τάση στη συσκευή, όσο το βύσμα βρίσκεται στην πρίζα.

► Προστατέψτε το μάτι από φθορές: Μην το φορτώνετε ανομοι-

όμορφα και μην αφήνετε να πέσουν πάνω άλλα αντικείμενα. Η συσκευή δεν επιτρέπεται να χρησιμοποιηθεί άλλο, όταν το μάτι ή το περίβλημα έχουν φθαρεί. Αποσυνδέστε αμέσως το βύσμα από την πρίζα και φροντίστε για την επισκευή της συσκευής.

► Τα βύσματα ή τα καλώδια που έχουν υποστεί βλάβη πρέπει

να αντικαθίστανται αμέσως από εξουσιοδοτημένο εξειδικευμένο προσωπικό ή από το τμήμα εξυπηρέτησης πελατών, ώστε να αποφεύγονται κίνδυνοι.

► Εάν η επιφάνεια του ματιού έχει ρωγμές, πρέπει να τραβήξε-

τε το βύσμα από την πρίζα, προς αποφυγή πιθανής ηλεκτροπληξίας.

Βεβαιώνεστε ότι η συσκευή, το καλώδιο δικτύου ή το βύσμα δεν βυθίζονται ποτέ σε νερό ή άλλα υγρά.

► Μην έρχεστε σε επαφή με την επιφάνεια, στην οποία πριν

υπήρχε μία ζεστή κατσαρόλα. Μετά από αυτό μπορεί η επιφάνεια να είναι πολύ ζεστή.

► Αυτή η συσκευή μπορεί να χρησιμοποιείται από παιδιά άνω

των 8 ετών, καθώς και από άτομα με μειωμένες φυσικές, αισθητηριακές ή νοητικές δυνατότητες ή ελλείψεις σε εμπειρία και/ή γνώσεις, εφόσον επιτηρούνται ή έχουν εκπαιδευτεί αναφορικά με την ασφαλή χρήση της συσκευής και έχουν κατανοήσει τους προκύπτοντες κινδύνους.

► Τα παιδιά δεν επιτρέπεται να παίζουν με τη συσκευή. ► Ο καθαρισμός και η συντήρηση χρήστη δεν επιτρέπεται να

ΠΡΟΕΙΔΟΠΟΙΗΣΗ! ΚΙΝΔΥΝΟΣ ΠΥΡΚΑΓΙΑΣ!

► Τα υπερθερμασμένα τρόφιμα μπορεί να πάρουν φωτιά! Ποτέ

μην αφήνετε τη συσκευή σε λειτουργία χωρίς επιτήρηση.

► Γι' αυτό ποτέ μην τοποθετείτε τη συσκευή κάτω από εύφλεκτα

αντικείμενα, κυρίως όχι κάτω από κουρτίνες ή παρόμοια.

► Ποτέ μην ζεσταίνετε ένα δοχείο ερμητικά κλειστό. Μέσω της

επέκτασης θερμότητας μπορεί άμεσα να συμβεί έκρηξη.

► Ποτέ να μην ζεσταίνετε ένα άδειο δοχείο. Μπορεί να υπερθερ-

μανθεί γρήγορα, με αποτέλεσμα τόσο τον κίνδυνο εγκαύματος όσο και φθοράς της εστίας.

► Μην τοποθετείτε μεταλλικά αντικείμενα επάνω στο μάτι, όπως

π.χ. εργαλεία κουζίνας ή μαχαιροπίρουνα. Αυτά μπορεί να υπερθερμανθούν επάνω στο επαγωγικό πεδίο.

► Να είστε προσεκτικοί κατά το ζέσταμα μικρών ποσοτήτων

λαδιού, μη ρυθμίζετε υψηλή βαθμίδα απόδοσης ή θερμοκρασία. Αλλιώς το λάδι μπορεί να καεί και να προκληθεί φωτιά!

► Ποτέ μη λειτουργείτε τη συσκευή επάνω σε μεταλλικό τραπέζι

ή επάνω σε άλλη μεταλλική βάση. Μπορεί να ζεσταθεί και έτσι να πάρει φωτιά. Επίσης, η συσκευή μπορεί να πάθει ανεπανόρθωτη βλάβη.

► Μη λειτουργείτε τη συσκευή με έναν εξωτερικό χρονοδιακό-

πτη ή με ξεχωριστό τηλεχειριστήριο.

Για να αποφύγετε κινδύνους από ηλεκτρομα-

γνητικά πεδία:

► Κρατάτε ελάχιστη απόσταση 1 μέτρου από συσκευές, οι οποίες

είναι ευαίσθητες σε ηλεκτρομαγνητικά πεδία (π.χ. οθόνες, ρολόγια, μαγνητικά μέσα αποθήκευσης, ηλεκτρονικές συσκευές κλπ.).

► Συσκευές ιατρικής τεχνολογίας, π.χ. βηματοδότες, συσκευές

ακοής και άλλες διατάξεις, μπορεί ενδεχομένως να απαιτούν μεγαλύτερες αποστάσεις. Απευθυνθείτε για αυτό στον κατασκευαστή ιατρικών μηχανημάτων!

Τρόπος λειτουργίας

Ενώ τα κανονικά μάτια ζεσταίνονται, σε μια επαγωγική εστία η θερμότητα δημιουργείται στο κάτω μέρος του μαγειρικού σκεύους. Το ίδιο το πεδίο μαγειρέματος δεν ζεσταίνεται - ζεσταίνεται όταν ζεσταίνονται τρόφιμα σε μία κατσαρόλα και η θερμότητα από την κατσαρόλα ακτινοβολεί στο πεδίο μαγειρέματος. (Θέρμανση επιστροφής).

Για αυτό υπάρχει ένα πεδίο ενέργειας, το οποίο παράγει θερμότητα μόνο σε μαγνητικώς αγώγιμα υλικά, π.χ. κατσαρόλες από σίδερο. Σε άλλα υλικά, όπως π.χ. πορσελάνη, γυαλί ή κεραμικό υλικό, το ενεργειακό πεδίο δεν μπορεί να παράγει επίδραση θερμότητας.

Ενδεδειγμένο σκεύος μαγειρέματος

Χρησιμοποιείτε μόνο σκεύη που ενδείκνυνται για επαγωγικές εστίες:

■ Ενδείκνυνται κατσαρόλες και τηγάνια με έναν πάτο από ατσάλι ή χυτοσί-

δηρο. Αυτό μπορείτε να το καταλάβετε από μία ένδειξη στο σκεύος ή όταν κάποιος μαγνήτης στέκεται κολλημένος στον πάτο του σκεύους.

■ Δεν ενδείκνυνται άλλα μέταλλα, στα οποία δεν κολλά ο μαγνήτης, π.χ.

αλουμίνιο, χαλκός, ανοξείδωτος χάλυβας, και μη μεταλλικά δοχεία, π.χ. από πορσελάνη, γυαλί, κεραμικό υλικό, πλαστικό, κλπ. Εάν τοποθετηθούν ακατάλληλα μαγειρικά σκεύη στα μάτια 1/2, προβάλλεται το „E0“ στην εκάστοτε οθόνη 0/u.

■ Για το επαγωγικό μαγείρεμα ενδείκνυνται καλύτερα σκεύη με λεπτό πάτο και

όχι με χοντρό πάτο τύπου σάντουιτς. Οι πολύ σύντομοι χρόνοι αντίδρασης σε αλλαγές ρύθμισης (σύντομος χρόνος προθέρμανσης, γρήγορο τσιγάρισμα με δόσεις) δεν είναι δυνατοί σε χοντρούς πάτους σκευών.

Χρησιμοποιείτε μόνο σκεύη, τα οποία ταιριάζουν στο μέγεθος του ματιού 1/2. Μόνο έτσι μπορεί η επαγωγική εστία να λειτουργεί χωρίς προβλήματα. Ο πάτος του σκεύους δεν πρέπει να είναι ανώμαλος αλλά επίπεδος.

Η διάμετρος δεν επιτρέπεται να είναι μικρότερη από 16 εκ., ώστε να είναι αποτελεσματικό το ενεργειακό πεδίο. Μη χρησιμοποιείτε σκεύη, των οποίων η διάμετρος είναι μεγαλύτερη από 26 εκ.

Ενεργειακά αποδοτικό μαγείρεμα

■ Για να χρησιμοποιήσετε με όσο το δυνατόν φιλικότερο προς το περιβάλλον τρόπο

την ενέργεια που απαιτείται για το ζέσταμα των φαγητών, συστήνουμε να χρησιμοποιείτε καλύτερα μια κατσαρόλα με μεγάλη διάμετρο και ελάχιστο ύψος παρά μια ψηλή κατσαρόλα με μικρή διάμετρο. Έτσι μπορούν να ζεσταθούν γρηγορότερα τα φαγητά, καθώς η επιφάνεια της κατσαρόλας η οποία ζεσταίνεται, είναι μεγαλύτερη όταν η διάμετρος είναι και αυτή μεγαλύτερη. Ωστόσο μη χρησιμοποιείτε ποτέ κατσαρόλες, των οποίων η διάμετρος είναι μεγαλύτερη από 26 εκ.

■ Εάν θέλετε να ζεστάνετε φαγητά, κλείστε καλά την κατσαρόλα με ένα καπάκι.

Έτσι μπορεί να εκφύγει λιγότερη θερμότητα.

Τοποθέτηση

Η συσκευή προϋποθέτει ελεύθερη παροχή αέρα για να μην υπερθερμανθεί. Για το λόγο αυτό, τοποθετήστε τη συσκευή έτσι ώστε ...

– να υπάρχει γύρω-γύρω ελάχιστη απόσταση 10 εκ., π.χ. από τον διπλανό

τοίχο,

– να υπάρχει ελεύθερη απόσταση τουλάχιστον 60 εκ. προς τα επάνω,

■ Κατά τη μεταφορά να πιάνετε τη συσκευή από τις υποδοχές λαβής 3/6.

■ Η συσκευή αναρροφάει αέρα για την ψύξη μέσω των ανοιγμάτων στην κάτω πλευ-

ρά. Μην την τοποθετείτε επάνω σε υφασμάτινες ή χνουδωτές επιφάνειες, όπως π.χ. τραπεζομάντιλα. Να την θέτετε σε λειτουργία μόνο επάνω σε λείες επιφάνειες.

■ Μην την τοποθετείτε κοντά σε κουρτίνες ή άλλα παρόμοια υφάσματα, τα

οποία μπορεί να απορροφηθούν από τη συσκευή λόγω του ρεύματος αέρα.

■ Μην την τοποθετείτε επάνω σε μεταλλικές επιφάνειες, όπως π.χ. σιδερένιες

ή ατσάλινες βάσεις. Αυτές μπορεί να υπερθερμανθούν.

■ Κρατάτε ελάχιστη απόσταση 1 μέτρου από συσκευές, οι οποίες είναι ευαί-

σθητες σε ηλεκτρομαγνητικά πεδία (π.χ. οθόνες, ρολόγια, μαγνητικά μέσα αποθήκευσης, ηλεκτρονικές συσκευές κλπ.).

■ Σκουπίζετε τα μάτια με ένα νωπό πανί, ώστε να απομακρύνετε ρύπους από

τη μεταφορά.

Ηλεκτρική σύνδεση

Αφού αποσυσκευάσετε και τοποθετήσετε τη συσκευή όπως περιγράφηκε, συνδέστε την σε μια πρίζα.

■ Πριν από τη σύνδεση της συσκευής, συγκρίνετε τα δεδομένα σύνδεσης (τάση

και συχνότητα) επάνω στην πινακίδα τύπου με αυτά του δικτύου ρεύματος.

■ Η πρίζα πρέπει να διαθέτει έναν αυτόματο διακόπτη ασφάλειας 16Α.

■ Μη χρησιμοποιείτε καλώδιο επέκτασης για να συνδέσετε τη συσκευή.

1) Τοποθετήστε στο κέντρο ενός από τα μάτια 1/2 το μαγειρικό σκεύος με το περιεχόμενο.

Συνολικά, τα σκεύη που τοποθετούνται επάνω και στα δύο μάτια 1/2

►

δεν επιτρέπεται να ζυγίζουν και τα δύο μαζί περισσότερο από 10 κιλά (μαζί με το περιεχόμενο). Αλλιώς η συσκευή θα πάθει ζημιές.

2) Πιέστε το πλήκτρο „ON/OFF“ e τόσο, έως ότου ανάψει η λυχνία ελέγχου πάνω από το πλήκτρο ON/OFF e.

ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΗ

Εάν εντός περ. 10 δευτερολέπτων δεν ενεργοποιήσετε κανένα μάτι 1/2,

ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΕΙΣ

Μπορείτε να επιλέξετε μεταξύ μαγειρέματος με βαθμίδες απόδοσης ή μαγειρέματος με ρυθμίσεις θερμοκρασίας:

► Όταν μαγειρεύετε στη λειτουργία θερμοκρασίας, η συσκευή θερμαίνει το

μαγειρικό σκεύος στη ρυθμισμένη θερμοκρασία. Στην περίπτωση που υπάρχει μείωση σε σχέση με τη ρυθμισμένη θερμοκρασία, η συσκευή ζεσταίνεται πάλι. Η θερμοκρασία διατηρείται.

► Κατά τη ρύθμιση της „Βαθμίδας απόδοσης“ το μαγειρικό σκεύος ζεσταί-

νεται με διαφορετική ταχύτητα. Όσο υψηλότερη η ρυθμισμένη βαθμίδα απόδοσης, τόσο γρηγορότερα ζεσταίνεται το μαγειρικό σκεύος.

Να χρησιμοποιείτε πάντα τα πλήκτρα του εκάστοτε πεδίου χειρισμού 4/5 για το αντίστοιχο μάτι 1/2. Μπορείτε να θέτετε σε λειτουργία τα δύο μάτια 1/2 ανεξάρτητα μεταξύ τους.

3) Πιέστε το πλήκτρο POWER w/o. Στην οθόνη 0/u εμφανίζεται η προρυθμισμένη τιμή Watt (δεξί μάτι 2 1000 W/αριστερό μάτι 1 1200 W). Ανάβει η λυχνία ελέγχου μέσω του πλήκτρου POWER w/o.

ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΗ

► Εάν θέλετε να μαγειρέψετε με τις βαθμίδες θερμοκρασίας, πιέστε το πλήκτρο

8/t αντί του πλήκτρου POWER w/o. Στην οθόνη 0/u προ-

ΤΕΜΡ. βάλλεται στη συνέχεια η προρυθμισμένη θερμοκρασία 240°C.

5) Για να απενεργοποιήσετε το μάτι 1/2, πιέστε και κρατήστε το πλήκτρο „POWER“ w/o, έως ότου απενεργοποιηθεί το μάτι 1/2. Για να απενεργοποιήσετε ταυτόχρονα και τα δύο μάτια 1/2, πιέστε το πλήκτρο „ON/OFF“ e.

Όταν έχουν απενεργοποιηθεί και τα δύο μάτια 1/2 μετά από μια χρήση

ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΗ

Εάν για δύο ώρες δεν πατηθεί κανένα πλήκτρο, απενεργοποιείται η συ-

►

σκευή, ακόμα και εάν λειτουργεί ένα ή και τα δύο μάτια 1/2. Εάν θέλετε να μαγειρέψετε/διατηρήσετε ζεστό ένα φαγητό για περισσότερες από 2 ώρες, ρυθμίστε τον επιθυμητό χρόνο με τη βοήθεια του χρονοδιακόπτη (βλ. κεφάλαιο „Χρονοδιακόπτης“). Έτσι ρυθμίζονται χρόνοι έως και 3 ώρες.

Απενεργοποίηση ασφαλείας

■ Η αναγνώριση μαγειρικού σκεύους απενεργοποιεί για λόγους ασφάλειας

τη συσκευή αυτόματα (στη λειτουργία ετοιμότητας), όταν απομακρύνετε την κατσαρόλα από το μάτι 1/2, ή δεν τοποθετείτε άλλη εκεί πάνω.

■ Όταν αφαιρείτε την κατσαρόλα από το μάτι 1/2, ακούγονται 20 ήχοι

σήματος. Κατόπιν η συσκευή απενεργοποιείται. Εάν, εντός των 20 ήχων σήματος, τοποθετήσετε πάλι την κατσαρόλα επάνω στο μάτι 1/2, διατηρούνται οι ρυθμίσεις που έχετε διεξάγει προηγουμένως.

ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΗ

Μόλις αφαιρέσετε την κατσαρόλα από το μάτι 1/2, προβάλλεται στην

►

οθόνη η ένδειξη „E0“. Μετά από περ. ένα λεπτό σβήνει η ένδειξη „E0“ και η συσκευή απενεργοποιείται. Εάν το μάτι έχει ακόμα μια θερμοκρασία πάνω από 50°C, η ένδειξη „-H-“ εμφανίζεται στην εκάστοτε οθόνη, έως ότου η θερμοκρασία πέσει κάτω από τους 50°C.

Χρονοδιακόπτης

Μπορείτε να προεπιλέξετε έναν χρόνο μεταξύ 5 - 180 λεπτών, μετά τη λήξη του οποίου θα πρέπει να απενεργοποιηθεί το εκάστοτε μάτι 1/2.

1) Εκκινήστε τη διαδικασία μαγειρέματος (λειτουργία απόδοσης ή θερμοκρασίας) όπως αναφέρθηκε προηγουμένως.

2) Πιέστε το πλήκτρο „TIME“ 7/r. Στην οθόνη 0/u προβάλλεται η ένδειξη „0“.

3) Ρυθμίστε τον επιθυμητό χρόνο: Εάν πιέσετε σύντομα το πλήκτρο „+“ q/i ή „-“ 9/z, αυξάνεται ή μειώνεται ο χρόνος κάθε φορά κατά 5 λεπτά. Εάν πιέσετε και κρατήσετε το πλήκτρο „+“ q/i ή „-“ 9/z, αυξάνεται ή μειώνεται ο χρόνος σε βήματα των 10 λεπτών.

Η οθόνη 0/u προβάλει τώρα εναλλάξ τη ρυθμισμένη βαθμίδα απόδοσης/ θερμοκρασία και τον χρόνο που απομένει έως την απενεργοποίηση.

Μετά τη λήξη του χρόνου, απενεργοποιείται αυτόματα το εκάστοτε μάτι 1/2.

Φραγή ασφαλείας για παιδιά

Για να εμποδίσετε μη εξουσιοδοτημένη ενεργοποίηση ή αλλαγή των ρυθμίσεων, για παράδειγμα από παιδιά, αυτή η συσκευή είναι εξοπλισμένη με μια φραγή ασφαλείας.

ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΗ

Δεν παίζει ρόλο εάν θα ενεργοποιήσετε την ασφάλεια παιδιών με τα πλήκτρα

►

„+“ q και „-“ 9 ή με τα πλήκτρα „+“ i και „-“ z. Πάντα μπλοκάρονται όλα τα πλήκτρα, εκτός του πλήκτρου „ON/OFF“ e.

Χρησιμοποιείτε την ασφάλεια παιδιών και σαν λειτουργία προστασίας

καθαρισμού: Ενεργοποιήστε την ασφάλεια παιδιών προτού σκουπίσετε με ένα νωπό πανί τα πλήκτρα. Έτσι εμποδίζεται μη ηθελημένη ενεργοποίηση των πλήκτρων.

Όταν λειτουργεί η συσκευή:

■ Πιέστε τα πλήκτρα „+“ q/i και „-“ 9/z ταυτόχρονα. Στην οθόνη 0/u

προβάλλεται η ένδειξη „Loc“ (LOCK) εναλλάξ με τη ρυθμισμένη βαθμίδα απόδοσης/θερμοκρασία. Τώρα έχουν μπλοκαριστεί όλα τα πλήκτρα, εκτός του πλήκτρου „ON/OFF“ e.

■ Εάν έχει ενεργοποιηθεί μόνο ένα μάτι 1/2, προβάλλεται στην εκάστοτε

οθόνη 0/u η ένδειξη „Loc“ (LOCK) εναλλάξ με τη ρυθμισμένη βαθμίδα απόδοσης/θερμοκρασία. Στην οθόνη 0/u του ματιού 1/2, που δεν χρησιμοποιείται, προβάλλεται συνεχώς η ένδειξη „Loc“.

■ Για να ακυρώσετε την ασφάλεια παιδιών, πιέστε εκ νέου τα πλήκτρα „+“ q/

i και „-“ 9/z ταυτόχρονα. Τα πλήκτρα έχουν πάλι αποδεσμευτεί.

Όταν έχει απενεργοποιηθεί η συσκευή:

■ Πιέστε το πλήκτρο „ON/OFF“ e για να ενεργοποιήσετε τη συσκευή.

■ Πιέστε τα πλήκτρα „+“ q/i και „-“ 9/z ταυτόχρονα. Στην οθόνη 0/u

προβάλλεται η ένδειξη „Loc“ (LOCK). Τώρα έχουν μπλοκαριστεί όλα τα πλήκτρα, εκτός του πλήκτρου „ON/OFF“ e. Μετά από 10 δευτερόλεπτα, η συσκευή απενεργοποιείται πάλι.

■ Εάν τώρα πιέσετε εκ νέου το πλήκτρο „ON/OFF“ e, για να ενεργοποιήσετε

τη συσκευή, προβάλλεται στην οθόνη 0/u η ένδειξη „Loc“ και τα πλήκτρα συνεχίζουν να παραμένουν μπλοκαρισμένα. Για να ακυρώσετε την ασφάλεια παιδιών, πιέστε εκ νέου τα πλήκτρα „+“ q/i και „-“ 9/z ταυτόχρονα. Τα πλήκτρα έχουν πάλι αποδεσμευτεί.

Σε εν λειτουργία χρονοδιακόπτη:

■ Πιέστε τα πλήκτρα „+“ q/i και „-“ 9/z ταυτόχρονα. Στην οθόνη 0/u

προβάλλεται η ένδειξη „Loc“ (LOCK) εναλλάξ με τον τρέχοντα χρόνο του χρονοδιακόπτη και την τρέχουσα ρύθμιση (βαθμίδα θερμοκρασίας ή απόδοσης).

■ Για να ακυρώσετε την ασφάλεια παιδιών, πιέστε εκ νέου τα πλήκτρα „+“ q/

i και „-“ 9/z ταυτόχρονα. Τα πλήκτρα έχουν πάλι αποδεσμευτεί.

Καθαρισμός

ΠΡΟΕΙΔΟΠΟΙΗΣΗ - ΚΙΝΔΥΝΟΣ ΗΛΕΚΤΡΟΠΛΗΞΙΑΣ!

► Πριν από τον καθαρισμό της συσκευής τραβάτε πάντα το βύσμα από την

πρίζα.

► Σε καμία περίπτωση δεν επιτρέπεται η συσκευή ή εξαρτήματα αυτής

να βυθιστούν σε υγρά! Μπορεί να προκύψει κίνδυνος ζωής από ηλεκτροπληξία και η συσκευή να υποστεί φθορά.

► Ποτέ μην ανοίγετε το περίβλημα της συσκευής. Αλλιώς υπάρχει κίνδυνος

■ Στεγνώνετε τη συσκευή σε κάθε περίπτωση καλά, πριν τη χρησιμοποιήσετε εκ

νέου.

■ Βρομιές από υπολείμματα ψημένων τροφίμων επάνω στα μάτια 1/2 μπο-

ρείτε να τις απομακρύνετε με μία ξύστρα που ενδείκνυται για υαλοκεραμικές εστίες και μπορείτε να την προμηθευτείτε από το εμπόριο.

■ Εάν υπάρχουν ορατές βρομιές στην περιοχή των οπών αερισμού κάτω από

τη συσκευή, τότε μπορείτε να προσπαθήσετε να τις απορροφήσετε από έξω με μία ηλεκτρική σκούπα.

Τραβήξτε το βύσμα από την πρίζα και απευθυνθείτε στο τμήμα του σέρβις.

Βεβαιωθείτε ότι η συσκευή έχει συνδεθεί σε μια σύμφωνα με τις προδιαγραφές εγκατεστημένη πρίζα 220 - 240 V ~, 50 Hz.

Τραβήξτε το βύσμα από την πρίζα και περιμένετε έως ότου κρυώσει η συσκευή. Εάν το πρόβλημα συνεχίζεται, πρέπει να απευθυνθείτε στο σέρβις και να αναφέρετε τον κωδικό σφάλματος.

Εγγύηση της Kompernass Handels GmbH

Αξιότιμη πελάτισσα, αξιότιμε πελάτη, Η παρούσα συσκευή διαθέτει 3 χρόνια εγγύηση από την ημερομηνία αγοράς.

Στην περίπτωση ελλείψεων στο προϊόν έχετε νομικά δικαιώματα έναντι του πωλητή του προϊόντος. Αυτά τα νομικά δικαιώματα δεν περιορίζονται μέσω της κατωτέρω αναφερόμενης εγγύησης.

Προϋποθέσεις εγγύησης

Η περίοδος εγγύησης ξεκινάει κατά την ημερομηνία αγοράς. Φυλάξτε καλά την πρωτότυπη απόδειξη ταμείου. Αυτό το έγγραφο απαιτείται ως απόδειξη για την αγορά.

Εάν, εντός τριών ετών από την ημερομηνία αγοράς, προκύψει στο προϊόν αυτό σφάλμα υλικού ή κατασκευής, κατόπιν κρίσης μας, επισκευάζουμε ή αντικαθιστούμε το προϊόν για εσάς δωρεάν. Η παρούσα εγγύηση προϋποθέτει ότι εντός της περιόδου τριών ετών η ελαττωματική συσκευή και η απόδειξη αγοράς (απόδειξη ταμείου) θα υποβληθούν μαζί με σύντομη περιγραφή σχετικά με το που βρίσκεται η έλλειψη και πότε προέκυψε.

Εάν το ελάττωμα καλύπτεται από την εγγύησή μας, θα λάβετε το επισκευασμένο ή ένα νέο προϊόν.

Περίοδος εγγύησης και νομικές απαιτήσεις λόγω ελλείψεων

Ο χρόνος εγγύησης δεν παρατείνεται μέσω της παροχής εγγύησης. Αυτό ισχύει και για εξαρτήματα, τα οποία έχουν αντικατασταθεί και επισκευαστεί. Ενδεχόμενες ήδη υπάρχουσες ζημιές και ελλείψεις κατά την αγορά πρέπει να γνωστοποιούνται αμέσως μετά την αποσυσκευασία. Μετά τη λήξη του χρόνου εγγύησης, τυχόν εμφανιζόμενες επισκευές χρεώνονται.

Εύρος εγγύησης

Η συσκευή κατασκευάστηκε σύμφωνα με αυστηρές οδηγίες ποιότητας και ελέγχθηκε προσεκτικά πριν από την αποστολή.

Η απόδοση εγγύησης ισχύει για σφάλματα υλικού ή κατασκευής. Η παρούσα εγγύηση δεν εκτείνεται σε τμήματα του προϊόντος, τα οποία εκτίθενται σε φυσιολογική φθορά και έτσι μπορεί να θεωρούνται εξαρτήματα φθοράς ή για ζημιές σε εύθραυστα εξαρτήματα, π.χ. διακόπτες, συσσωρευτές, ταψιά ή εξαρτήματα που είναι κατασκευασμένα από γυαλί.

Η παρούσα εγγύηση ακυρώνεται εάν προκληθεί ζημιά στο προϊόν, εάν δεν γίνεται σωστή χρήση ή συντήρηση. Για μια σωστή χρήση του προϊόντος πρέπει να τηρούνται επακριβώς οι αναφερόμενες υποδείξεις στις οδηγίες χειρισμού. Σκοποί χρήσης και χειρισμοί που δεν συνιστώνται ή για τους οποίους υπάρχει προειδοποίηση πρέπει απαραίτητα να αποφεύγονται.

Το προϊόν προορίζεται μόνο για ιδιωτική και όχι για επαγγελματική χρήση. Σε περίπτωση κακής μεταχείρισης και ακατάλληλης χρήσης, χρήσης βίας και παρεμβάσεων, οι οποίες δεν διεξήχθησαν από το εξουσιοδοτημένο μας τμήμα σέρβις, η εγγύηση παύει να ισχύει.

Διαδικασία σε περίπτωση εγγύησης

Για την εξασφάλιση γρήγορης επεξεργασίας του ζητήματός σας, τηρείτε τις ακόλουθες υποδείξεις:

■ Για όλες τις ερωτήσεις έχετε έτοιμη την απόδειξη αγοράς και τον κωδικό προ-

ϊόντος (π.χ. ΙΑΝ 12345) ως απόδειξη για την αγορά.

■ Μπορείτε να βρείτε τον κωδικό προϊόντος στην πινακίδα τύπου, χαραγμένο,

στην πρώτη σελίδα των οδηγιών σας (κάτω αριστερά) ή σε αυτοκόλλητο στην πίσω ή κάτω πλευρά.

■ Εάν προκύψουν σφάλματα λειτουργίας ή άλλες ελλείψεις, επικοινωνήστε

κατ’ αρχήν με το ακόλουθο αναφερόμενο τμήμα σέρβις τηλεφωνικά ή με E-Mail.

■ Ένα προϊόν που θεωρείται ελαττωματικό μπορείτε να το αποστείλετε ατελώς

στην αναφερόμενη διεύθυνση του σέρβις επισυνάπτοντας την απόδειξη αγοράς (απόδειξη ταμείου) και αναφέροντας που βρίσκεται η έλλειψη και πότε εμφανίστηκε.

Lieferumfang

Das Gerät wird standardmäßig mit folgenden Komponenten geliefert:

1) Entnehmen Sie alle Teile des Gerätes und die Bedienungsanleitung aus dem Karton.

2) Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial.

Entsorgung der Verpackung

Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichtspunkten ausgewählt und deshalb recyclebar.

Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoﬀ e und verringert das Abfallaufkommen. Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigte Verpackungsmaterialien gemäß den örtlich geltenden Vorschriften.

Sicherheitshinweise

STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR

► Achten Sie darauf, dass im Betrieb das Netzkabel niemals nass

oder feucht wird. Führen Sie es so, dass es nicht eingeklemmt oder anderweitig beschädigt werden kann.

► Ziehen Sie nach Gebrauch immer den Netzstecker aus der

Netzsteckdose.

► Ausschalten alleine genügt nicht, weil noch immer Netz-

spannung im Gerät anliegt, solange der Netzstecker in der Netzsteckdose steckt.

► Schützen Sie das Kochfeld vor Beschädigungen: Belasten

Sie es nicht ungleichmäßig und lassen Sie keine Gegenstände darauf fallen. Das Gerät darf nicht weiter verwendet werden, wenn das Kochfeld oder Gehäuse beschädigt ist. Ziehen Sie dann sofort den Netzstecker und lassen Sie das Gerät erst instandsetzen.

► Lassen Sie beschädigte Netzstecker oder Netzkabel sofort

von autorisiertem Fachpersonal oder dem Kundenservice austauschen, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.

► Ist die Oberﬂ äche der Kochplatte gerissen, ist der Netzstecker

aus der Netzsteckdose zu ziehen, um einen möglichen elektrischen Schlag zu vermeiden.

Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät, das Netzkabel oder der Netzstecker niemals in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten getaucht wird.

► Berühren Sie nicht die Fläche, auf der zuvor ein heißes Koch-

gefäß gestanden hat. Direkt danach kann die Fläche sehr heiß sein.

► Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren sowie von Per-

sonen mit reduzierten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und / oder Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstanden haben.

► Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen. ► Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht durch Kinder

WARNUNG! BRANDGEFAHR!

► Überhitzte Speisen können zu brennen beginnen! Lassen Sie

das Gerät nie unbeaufsichtigt arbeiten.

► Stellen Sie es deshalb auch niemals unter brennbare Gegen-

stände, insbesondere nicht unter Gardinen oder Vorhänge.

► Erhitzen Sie niemals einen dicht verschlossenen Behälter.

Durch die Hitzeausdehnung kann es schnell zu einer Explosion kommen.

► Erhitzen Sie niemals einen leeren Behälter. Dieser würde

schnell überhitzen und dadurch sowohl Verbrennungsgefahr hervorrufen, als auch das Kochfeld beschädigen.

► Legen Sie keine metallischen Gegenstände auf dem Kochfeld

ab, wie z. B. Küchenutensilien oder Besteckteile. Diese können in dem Induktionsfeld sehr heiß werden.

► Seien Sie vorsichtig beim Erhitzen geringer Mengen Öl! Stel-

len Sie keine hohe Leistungsstufe oder Temperatur ein. Andernfalls könnte das Öl brennen und Feuer fangen!

► Betreiben Sie das Gerät niemals auf einem metallischen

Tisch oder einer anderen metallischen Unterlage. Diese kann sich erhitzen und so zu einem Brand führen. Oder das Gerät kann irreparabel beschädigt werden.

► Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht mit einer externen Zeitschaltuhr

oder einem separaten Fernwirksystem.

Um Gefahren durch elektromagnetische

Felder zu vermeiden:

► Halten Sie mindestens 1 m Abstand zu Geräten ein, die

empﬁ ndlich gegenüber elektromagnetischen Feldern sind (z. B. Bildschirme, Uhren, magnetische Speichermedien, elektronische Geräte usw.).

► Medizintechnische Geräte wie z. B. Herzschrittmacher,

Hörgeräte oder andere Vorrichtungen können evtl. größere Abstände erforderlich machen. Befragen Sie dazu den Medizinprodukt-Hersteller!

Funktionsweise

Während normale Kochplatten heiß werden, entsteht die Hitze bei einer Induktionskochplatte im Boden des Kochgeschirrs. Das Kochfeld selber wird nicht erhitzt

- es wird heiß, wenn Lebensmittel in einem Topf darauf erhitzt werden und die Hitze im Topf auf das Kochfeld zurückstrahlt (Rückerwärmung).

Hierfür sorgt ein Energiefeld, das nur in magnetisch leitfähigen Materialien Hitze erzeugt, z. B. Töpfe aus Eisen. In anderen Materialen, wie z. B. Porzellan, Glas, oder Keramik, kann das Energiefeld keine Hitzewirkung erzeugen.

Geeignetes Kochgeschirr

Verwenden Sie nur Kochgeschirr, das für Induktionskochfelder geeignet ist:

■ Geeignet sind Töpfe und Pfannen mit einem Boden aus Stahl oder Gussei-

sen. Dies erkennen Sie entweder durch eine Kennzeichnung am Topf, oder wenn ein Magnet am Topfboden haften bleibt.

■ Ungeeignet sind alle Metalle, an denen kein Magnet haften bleibt, z. B.

Aluminium, Kupfer, Edelstahl, ebenso nicht-metallische Gefäße, z. B. aus Porzellan, Glas, Keramik, Kunststoﬀ e usw. Wird ungeeignetes Kochgeschirr auf die Kochfelder 1/2 gestellt, erscheint „E0“ im jeweiligen Display 0/u.

■ Dünne Topfböden sind für das Induktionskochen besser geeignet als dicke

Sandwichböden. Die sehr kurzen Reaktionszeiten auf Einstelländerungen (kurze Vorwärmzeit, schnelles dosierbares Anbraten) sind bei dicken Topfböden nicht möglich.

Verwenden Sie nur Kochgeschirr, das für die Größe des Kochfeldes 1/2 pas- send ist. Nur dann kann das Induktionskochfeld einwandfrei funktionieren. Der Topfboden darf nicht uneben sein, sondern muss ﬂ ach auﬂ iegen.

Der Durchmesser darf nicht kleiner als 16 cm sein, damit das Energiefeld wirkt. Benutzen Sie keine Töpfe, deren Durchmesser mehr als 26 cm beträgt.

Energieeﬃ zientes Kochen

■ Um möglichst umweltbewusst die Energie, die zum Erhitzen der Speisen nötig

ist zu nutzen, empfehlen wir, eher einen Topf mit einem breiten Durchmesser und einer geringen Höhe zu benutzen, als einen hohen Topf mit einem geringem Durchmesser. So können die Speisen schneller erhitzt werden, da die Fläche des Topfes, die erhitzt wird, bei einem großen Durchmesser größer ist. Benutzen Sie jedoch niemals Töpfe, deren Durchmesser größer als 26 cm ist.

■ Wenn Sie Speisen schnell erhitzen wollen, verschließen Sie den Topf mit

einem Deckel. So kann weniger Hitze entweichen.

Aufstellen

Das Gerät benötigt freie Luftzufuhr, um nicht zu überhitzen. Stellen Sie das Gerät deshalb so auf, dass ...

– min. 10 cm Abstand rundum frei bleibt, z. B. zur nächsten Wand, – min. 60 cm Abstand nach oben frei bleibt, z. B. zu einem Hängeschrank.

■ Fassen Sie das Gerät zum Transportieren an den Griﬀ mulden 3/6 an.

■ Das Gerät saugt zur Kühlung über die Öﬀ nungen an der Unterseite Luft an.

Stellen Sie es nicht auf textilen oder ﬂ auschigen Oberﬂ ächen auf, wie z. B. Tischdecken. Betreiben Sie es nur auf glatten Oberﬂ ächen.

■ Stellen Sie es nicht in der Nähe von Vorhängen, Gardinen oder anderen

Textilien auf, die sich im Luftstrom an das Gerät schmiegen könnten.

■ Stellen Sie es nicht auf metallische Untergründe, wie zum Beispiel eisen- oder

stahlhaltige Unterlagen. Diese können sich stark erhitzen.

■ Halten Sie mindestens 1 m Abstand zu Geräten ein, die empﬁ ndlich gegen-

über elektromagnetischen Feldern sind (z. B. Bildschirme, Uhren, magnetische Speichermedien, elektronische Geräte usw.).

■ Wischen Sie die Kochfelder mit einem feuchten Tuch ab um Verschmutzun-

gen vom Transport zu entfernen.

Elektrischer Anschluss

Wenn Sie das Gerät wie beschrieben ausgepackt und aufgestellt haben, verbinden Sie es mit einer Netzsteckdose.

■ Vergleichen Sie vor dem Anschließen des Gerätes die Anschlussdaten (Span-

nung und Frequenz) auf dem Typenschild mit denen Ihres Stromnetzes.

■ Die Netzsteckdose muss über einen 16A-Sicherungsschutzschalter abgesi-

chert sein.

■ Benutzen Sie kein Verlängerungskabel um das Gerät anzuschließen. Der

Netzstecker muss im Notfall schnell zu erreichen sein.

1) Stellen Sie mittig auf eines der Kochfelder 1/2 das Kochgefäß mit Inhalt auf.

ACHTUNG - SACHSCHADEN!

Insgesamt dürfen die Töpfe, die auf die beiden Kochfelder 1/2 gestellt

►

werden, zusammen nicht mehr als 10 kg wiegen (zusammen mit dem Inhalt). Ansonsten wird das Gerät beschädigt.

2) Drücken Sie die Taste „ON/OFF“ e so lange, bis die Kontrollleuchte über der Taste ON/OFF e leuchtet.

HINWEIS

Wenn Sie innerhalb von ca. 10 Sekunden kein Kochfeld 1/2 aktivieren,

►

schaltet sich das Gerät wieder aus.

► Sollte zuvor schon ein Kochvorgang stattgefunden haben und ein Kochfeld

1/2 hat noch eine Temperatur von über 50°C, so zeigt das jeweilige

0/u „-H-“ an.

HINWEISE

Sie können zwischen dem Kochen mit Leistungsstufen oder dem Kochen mit Temperatureinstellungen wählen:

► Wenn Sie im Temperaturmodus kochen, erhitzt das Gerät das Kochgefäß

auf die eingestellte Temperatur. Falls die eingestellte Temperatur unterschritten wird, heizt das Gerät wieder auf. Die Temperatur wird gehalten.

► Bei der Einstellung der „Leistungsstufe“ wird das Kochgefäß unterschiedlich

schnell erhitzt. Je höher die eingestellte Leistungsstufe, umso schneller wird das Kochgefäß erhitzt.

Benutzen Sie immer die Tasten des jeweiligen Bedienfeldes 4/5 für das passende Kochfeld 1/2. Sie können beide Kochfelder 1/2 unabhängig voneinander betreiben.

3) Drücken Sie die Taste POWER w/o. Im Display 0/u erscheint die voreingestellte Wattangabe (rechtes Kochfeld 2 1000 W/linkes Kochfeld 1 1200 W). Die Kontrollleuchte über der Taste POWER w/o leuchtet.

HINWEIS

Wenn Sie mit den Temperaturstufen kochen wollen, drücken Sie die Taste

►

TEMP. 8/t anstatt der Taste POWER w/o. Im Display 0/u erscheint dann die voreingestellte Temperatur von 240°C.

4) Drücken Sie die Tasten „+“ q/i bzw. „-“ 9/z so oft, bis die gewünschte Wattzahl/Temperatur im Display 0/u erscheint.

5) Um das Kochfeld 1/2 auszuschalten, drücken und halten Sie die Taste „POWER“ w/o bis sich das Kochfeld 1/2 ausschaltet. Um beide Kochfelder 1/2 gleichzeitig auszuschalten, drücken Sie die Taste „ON/OFF“ e.

Wenn beide Kochfelder 1/2 nach einer Benutzung oder Einstellung

ausgeschaltet sind, müssen Sie erst die Taste „ erneute Einstellungen vornehmen zu können.

HINWEIS

► Nach dem Ausschalten in den Standby-Modus laufen die Lüfter des

Gerätes noch eine Zeit lang weiter, um die Hitze abzuführen. Solange die Kochfelder 1/2 eine Temperatur von über 50 °C haben, wird im jeweili- gen Display Solange noch „-H-“ im Display 0/u gezeigt wird, können Sie durch Drücken der Taste POWER w/o oder TEMP. 8/t die Kochfelder 1/2 wieder aktivieren.

HINWEIS

Wenn 2 Stunden lang keine Taste gedrückt wird, schaltet sich das Gerät,

►

auch wenn noch ein oder beide Kochfelder 1/2 arbeiten, aus. Wenn Sie ein Gericht länger als 2 Stunden kochen/warmhalten wollen, stellen Sie die gewünschte Zeit mit Hilfe des Timers ein (siehe Kapitel „Timer“). So lassen sich Zeiten bis zu 3 Stunden einstellen.

Sicherheitsabschaltung

■ Die Kochtopf-Erkennung schaltet zur Sicherheit das Gerät automatisch aus

(in den Standby-Modus), wenn Sie das Kochgefäß vom Kochfeld 1/2 nehmen, oder erst gar keines darauf stellen.

■ Wenn Sie das Kochgefäß vom Kochfeld 1/2 nehmen, ertönen 20 Signal-

töne. Danach schaltet das Gerät aus. Wenn Sie innerhalb der 20 Signaltöne das Kochgefäß wieder auf das Kochfeld 1/2 stellen, bleiben die zuvor vorgenommenen Einstellungen erhalten.

HINWEIS

Sobald Sie das Kochgefäß vom Kochfeld 1/2 herunter nehmen, er-

►

scheint „E0“ im Display. Nach ca. einer Minute erlischt „E0“ und das Gerät schaltet sich aus. Wenn das Kochfeld noch eine Temperatur von über 50°C hat, erscheint solange „-H-“ im jeweilgen Display, bis die Temperatur unter 50°C fällt.

Timer

Sie können eine Zeit von 5 - 180 Min. vorwählen, nach deren Ablauf sich das jeweilige Kochfeld 1/2 ausschalten soll.

1) Starten Sie den Kochvorgang (Leistungs- oder Temperaturmodus) wie zuvor erklärt.

2) Drücken Sie die Taste „TIME“ 7/r. Im Display 0/u erscheint „0“.

3) Stellen Sie die gewünschte Zeit ein: Wenn Sie die Taste „+“ q/i bzw. „-“ 9/z kurz drücken, erhöht bzw. verringert sich die Zeit um jeweils 5 Minuten. Wenn Sie die Taste „+“ q/i bzw. „-“ 9/z drücken und halten, erhöht bzw. verringert sich die Zeit in 10-Minuten-Schritten.

Das Display 0/u zeigt nun abwechselnd die eingestellte Leistungsstufe/Temperatur und die noch verbleibende Zeit bis zum Abschalten an.

Nach dem Ablaufen der Zeit schaltet sich das jeweilige Kochfeld 1/2 automatisch aus.

Kindersicherung

Um unbefugtes Anschalten oder Ändern der Einstellungen, zum Beispiel durch Kinder, zu verhindern, ist dieses Gerät mit einer Kindersicherung ausgestattet.

HINWEIS

Es ist gleichgültig, ob Sie mit den Tasten „+“ q und „-“ 9 oder mit den

Tasten „+“ i und „-“ z die Kindersicherung aktivieren. Es werden immer alle Tasten, bis auf die Taste „ON/OFF“ e gesperrt.

HINWEIS

Benutzen Sie die Kindersicherung auch als Wischschutzfunktion:

►

Aktivieren Sie, bevor Sie mit einem feuchten Tuch über die Tasten wischen, die Kindersicherung. So vermeiden Sie unbeabsichtigtes Betätigen der Tasten.

Wenn das Gerät arbeitet:

■ Drücken Sie die Tasten „+“ q/i und „-“ 9/z gleichzeitig. Im Display

0/u erscheint „Loc“ (LOCK) abwechselnd mit der eingestellten Leistungs-

stufe/Temperatur. Nun sind alle Tasten, bis auf die Taste „ON/OFF“ e gesperrt.

■ Ist nur ein Kochfeld 1/2 aktiviert, erscheint im jeweiligen Display 0/u

„Loc“ (LOCK) abwechselnd mit der eingestellten Leistungsstufe/Temperatur. Im Display 0/u des Kochfeldes 1/2, welches nicht benutzt wird, erscheint „Loc“ dauerhaft.

■ Um die Kindersicherung aufzuheben, drücken Sie erneut die Tasten „+“

q/i und „-“ 9/z gleichzeitig. Die Tasten sind nun wieder freigegeben.

Wenn das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist:

■ Drücken Sie die Taste „ON/OFF“ e, um das Gerät einzuschalten.

■ Drücken Sie die Tasten „+“ q/i und „-“ 9/z gleichzeitig. Im Display

0/u erscheint „Loc“ (LOCK). Nun sind alle Tasten, bis auf die Taste „ON/ OFF“ e gesperrt. Nach 10 Sekunden schaltet sich das Gerät wieder aus.

■ Wenn Sie nun erneut die Taste „ON/OFF“ e drücken, um das Gerät

einzuschalten, erscheint im Display 0/u „Loc“ und de Tasten sind noch immer gesperrt. Um die Kindersicherung aufzuheben, drücken Sie erneut die Tasten „+“ q/i und „-“ 9/z gleichzeitig. Die Tasten sind nun wieder freigegeben.

Bei laufendem Timer:

■ Drücken Sie die Tasten „+“ q/i und „-“ 9/z gleichzeitig. Im Display

0/u erscheint „Loc“ (LOCK) abwechselnd mit der aktuellen Zeit des Timers

und der aktuellen Einstellung (Temperatur- oder Leistungsstufe).

■ Um die Kindersicherung aufzuheben, drücken Sie erneut die Tasten „+“ q/i

und „-“ 9/z gleichzeitig. Die Tasten sind nun wieder freigegeben.

► Bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen, ziehen Sie immer den Netzstecker aus der

Netzsteckdose.

► Auf keinen Fall darf das Gerät oder Teile davon in Flüssigkeiten

■ Reinigen Sie alle Flächen und das Netzkabel nur mit einem leicht angefeuch-

teten Spültuch.

■ Trocknen Sie das Gerät auf jeden Fall gut ab, bevor Sie es erneut verwenden.

■ Festgebackene Verschmutzungen auf den Kochfeldern 1/2 können Sie mit

einem speziell für Glaskochfelder geeigneten Schaber aus dem Haushaltswarenhandel entfernen.

■ Wenn Verschmutzungen im Bereich der Luftschlitze unter dem Gerät sichtbar

sind, können Sie versuchen, diese von außen mit einem Staubsauger heraus zu saugen.

Benutzen Sie ein geeignetes Gefäß (siehe Kapitel „Geeignetes Kochgeschirr“).

Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose und wenden Sie sich an den Service.

Garantiebedingungen
