Installation and Wiring
Instructions
Please follow the steps below referring to Figure 1 to ensure proper operation of your LM202 Vehicle Probe with your LiftMaster LA400 Gate Operator.
NOTE: Do not install the probe close to any electrical wires. Do not run the lead in cable in the same conduit as other electrical wires.
INSTALLATION
1.Select a location parallel to the driveway to install the probe.
A.The probe may be buried up to 10" deep, provided there is no rebar located below it.
B.The probe may also be placed above ground, provided it remains undisturbed and free of vibrations.
2.Run the attached wire to the LA400 Control Box, making sure it is kept out of the way of gardening equipment.
3.See the reverse side of this sheet for proper wiring installation.
