operating instructions are a component of this product. They contain important information about the safety, operation and disposal of the appliance. Before using this product familiarise yourself with all of these operating and safety instructions. Use this appliance only as described and only for the speciﬁ ed areas of application. Also, pass them on to whoever might acquire the appliance at a future date.

Intended use

This appliance is intended for the heating up or keeping warm of foods in domestic households and ONLY for use in dry accommodation.

It is NOT intended for the warming or heating of other materials, for industrial or commercial applications or for use outdoors.

Safety instructions

RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK Ensure that the power cable can never become wet or damp during opera- ►

tion. Lay the cable such that it cannot be pinched or otherwise damaged. Should the cable or the electric plug become damaged, arrange for it to ►

be replaced by Customer Services before you continue to use the appliance. Always remove the plug from the mains power socket after use.

►

Simply switching oﬀ the appliance is not suﬃ cient, because the appliance ► continues to receive power for as long as the plug is connected to the mains power socket.

Protect the cooking plate from damages: Do not burden it irregularly and do ► not allow objects to fall onto it. The appliance may not be taken into use if either the cooking plate or the housing is damaged. In this case, immediately remove the plug from the mains power socket and arrange for the appliance to be repaired.

To avoid risks, arrange for defective plugs and/or cables to be replaced at once by qualiﬁ ed technicians or our Customer Services Department.

If the surface is cracked, switch oﬀ the appliance to avoid the possibility of electric shock.

Overheated foodstuﬀ s could begin to burn! Never let the appliance be in use without supervision.

Additionally, NEVER position the appliance below inﬂ ammable objects, ► especially not below curtains or drapes.

NEVER heat up a securely closed container. Through heat expansion it could quickly cause an explosion.

►

NEVER heat up an empty container. This would very quickly overheat - presenting both the risk of ﬁ re and of serious damage to the cooking area.

Do not place any metallic objects on the cooking area, such as kitchen ► utensils or items of cutlery. They can become very hot in the energy area.

Be careful when heating small amounts of oil - do not set a high performance ► level. If you do, the oil could ignite and catch ﬁ re!

►

NEVER operate the appliance on a metal table or other metallic surface. This may heat up and thereby lead to a ﬁ re or the appliance itself could be damaged beyond repair.

Do not operate the appliance via an external time-switch or a separate ► remote control system.

To avoid the risks and dangers presented by electroma-

gnetic ﬁ elds:

Maintain a minimum distance of 1 meter to appliances that are sensitive to electromagnetic ﬁ elds (e.g. computer screens, clocks, magnetic storage media, electronic devices usw.).

Medical-technical devices such as heart pacemakers, hearing aids and ► other appliances may possibly need to be kept at a greater distance. If in doubt, consult the manufacturer of the appliance!

Disposal of the packaging

The packaging protects the appliance from transport damage. The packaging materials are selected from the point of view of their environmental friendliness and disposal technology and are therefore recyclable.

The recirculation of packaging into the material circuit saves on raw material and reduces generated waste. Dispose of packaging material that is no longer needed as per the regionally established regulations.

NOTICE

If possible preserve the appliance's original packaging during the warranty ► period so that in the case of a warranty claim you can package the appliance properly for return.

Manner of operation

Whilst standard hotplates become warm themselves, in an induction cooker the heat is created in the base of the cookware. The cooking area 1 itself is not heated - it heats up itself only when something in a pan is heated on it and then radiates heat back onto the cooking area 1. (Reverse heating).

For this, an energy ﬁ eld generates heat which can only be created in magnetically conductible materials, for example, pans made of ferric materials. In other materials, for example porcelain, glass or ceramic, the energy ﬁ eld cannot create any heating eﬀ ect.

Suitable cookware

Use only cookware that is suitable for induction cookers:

■

Suitable are pots and pans with a base made of steel or cast iron. These are recognisable either through the markings on the pan or if a magnet clings to the base of the pan.

Unsuitable are all types of cookware made of metals to which a magnet

■

does not cling, for example aluminium, copper and stainless steel, as well as non-metallic cookware made of porcelain, glass, ceramics and plastics etc.

Thin pan bottoms are better suited for induction cookers than thick sandwich

■

bottoms. The very short reaction times to setting adjustments (short pre-warm time; fast metered roasting) are not possible with thick pan bases.

Only use cookware that is suitable for the size of the cooking area 1. The diameter...

–

may not exceed 26 cm, so that the pan does not overhang, and may not be less than 16 cm, so that the energy ﬁ eld can actually –

work.

–

The base of the pan may not be uneven, rather, it must sit ﬂ at.

Only then can the induction cooker function perfectly.

Setup

So as not to overheat, the appliance requires unrestricted ventilation. Therefore, position the appliance such that ...

–

there is an all-round free space of minimum 10 cm, e.g. to the nearest wall,

–

a free space directly above of minimum 60 cm, e.g. to a suspended wall cabinet.

For cooling, the appliance draws in air through the openings on the underside.

■

Therefore, place it only on smooth surfaces, not on textiles or ﬂ uﬀ y surfaces, such as tablecloths.

Do not place it adjacent to curtains, drapes or other textiles which, due to

■

the airﬂ ow, could press themselves against the appliance.

Utilisation

When you have unpacked and positioned the appliance as described above, it is now ready for use.

If you replace the cookware back onto the cooking area 1 within 15 seconds, the selected function will continue on the same settings.

Using the buttons + – 7 and --- 9, select the desired power level (L1 - L10). The default setting is a medium power level (L5).

Press the button Cooking

– q to be able to select the temperature. In the

display 8 appears „120“ and below the display 8 the symbol „°C „. Using the buttons + 7 and --- 9 then select the desired temperature (60 - 240°C). The default setting is a temperature of 120°C.

If you are using the setting "Temperature" for cooking, the appliance heats

►

the cookware to the selected temperature. If the set temperature should fall, the appliance heats it up again. The temperature is maintained.

With the setting "Power level", the cookware is heated at diﬀ erent rates. ► The higher the selected power level, the faster the cookware is heated.

Warming up starts as soon as one of these buttons is activated. The setting ► can be adjusted at any time during the current usage.

Countdown time (Timer)

You can pre-select a time period from 0 - 180 minutes after which the cooking area 1 should switch itself oﬀ .

First start the warming-up, as described above. Then press the button Timer ■ 0. The control lamp Timer e glows, „120 „

appears in the display 8 and „min“ appears below the display 8. Using the buttons +

■ 7 and --- 9 you can select the desired countdown time

from 0 - 180 minutes ...

Child protection system

To prevent unauthorised switching on or a changing of the settings, by children for example, this appliance is ﬁ tted with a childproof lock.

In the standy-by mode press and hold the button Child Lock

To release the child safety block, once again press and hold the button

With this appliance you receive a warranty of 3 years from the date of purchase. This appliance has been manufactured with care and meticulously examined before delivery.

Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the case of a warranty claim please make contact by telephone with our Customer Service department. Only in this way can a post-free despatch for your goods be assured.

NOTICE

This product is for domestic use only and is not intended for commercial applications. In the event of misuse and improper handling, use of force and interference not carried out by our authorized service branch, the warranty will become void.

Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by this warranty. The warranty period is not extended by repairs made under the warranty. This applies also to replaced and repaired parts.

Damages and defects extant at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking, resp. no later than two days after the date of purchase.

Repairs made after the lapse of the warranty period are subject to charge.

Sigurnosne napomene

OPASNOST OD STRUJNOG UDARA

Obratite pažnju na to, da mrežni kabel u pogonu uređaju nikada ne bude ► mokar ili vlažan. Provodite ga na taj način, da ne može biti ugnječen ili oštećen na drugi način.

►

Ukoliko je mrežni kabel ili mrežni utikač oštećen, dajte ga zamijeniti od servisa (za kupce), prije nastavka uporabe uređaja.

Nakon uporabe uređaja uvijek izvucite mrežni utikač iz utičnice.

►

Samo isključivanje uređaja nije dovoljno, jer je još uvijek prisutan mrežni ► napon u uređaju, dok se mrežni utikač nalazi u utičnici.

Zaštitite ploču za kuhanje od oštećenja: Ne opteretite je neravnomjerno i ► ne pustite da neki predmeti padnu na nju. Uređaj ne smije biti dalje korišten, kada su ploča za kuhanje ili kućište oštećeni. U tom slučaju odmah izvucite mrežni utikač i dajte prvo uređaj popraviti.

►

Oštećene mrežne utikače i kablove neizostavno dajte zamijeniti od strane autoriziranog stručnog osoblja ili od servisa za kupce, kako biste izbjegli nastanak opasnosti.

Ako je površina oštećena, isključite uređaj kako biste izbjegli mogućnost ► nastanka strujnog udara.

Pregrijane namirnice se mogu zapaliti! Nikada ne ostavite uređaj u pogonu bez nadzora.

Iz tog razloga ploču nikada ne postavite pod zapaljive predmete, posebno ► ne ispod zastora ili zavjesa.

Nikada ne zagrijte čvrsto zaptivene spremnike. Uslijed termičke ekspanzije brzo može doći do eksplozije.

►

Nikada ne zagrijavajte prazne spremnike. Oni bi se u protivnom brzo pregrijali - i došlo bi do opasnosti od nastanka opeklina i do oštećenja ploče za kuhanje.

Ne postavljajte metalne predmete na ploču za kuhanje, kao na primjer ► dijelove kuhinjskog pribora ili pribor za jelo. Ovi predmeti bi se u energetskom polju mogli snažno zagrijati.

Budite oprezni prilikom zagrijavanja manjih količina ulja - ne postavite ► visok stupanj snage. U protivnom bi se ulje moglo zapaliti i gorjeti!

Uređaj nikada ne pogonite na metalnom stolu ili drugoj vrsti metalne pod- ► loge. Ona bi se mogla zagrijati i dovesti do požara. Osim toga može doći do nepopravljivog oštećenja uređaja.

Uređaj ne pogonite sa eksternim rasklopnim satom ili odvojenim sustavom ► za daljinsko upravljanje.

Da biste izbjegli opasnosti uslijed elektromagnetnih

polja:

Držite najmanje 1 m rastojanja prema uređajima koji su osjetljivi na elektromagnetna polja (npr. zasloni, satovi, magnetni memorijski medij, elektronski uređaji itd.).

NAPOMENA

Prekontrolirajte cjelovitost isporuke i ustanovite, da li postoje vidljiva ošte- ► ćenja.

U slučaju nepotpune isporuke ili šteta uslijed oskudnog pakiranja ili transportnih oštećenja se obratite dežurnoj servisnoj telefonskoj liniji (vidi poglavlje servis).

Zbrinjavanje pakiranja

Pakiranje uređaj štiti od transportnih oštećenja. Materijali pakiranja su odabrani prema ekološkim kriterijima i kriterijima zbrinjavanja i zbog toga mogu biti reciklirani.

Vraćanje pakiranja u kružni tok materijala štedi sirovine i umanjuje količinu otpada. Zbrinite materijale pakiranja koje više ne trebate u skladu sa mjesnim važećim propisima.

NAPOMENA

Ako je moguće sačuvajte originalno pakiranje za vrijeme jamstvenog roka ► uređaja, kako biste uređaj u slučaju korištenja prava na jamstvo mogli uredno zapakirati.

Način funkcioniranja

Dok normalne ploče za kuhanje postaju vrlo vruće, kod indukcijske ploče visoka temperatura nastaje u dnu posude za kuhanje. Ploča za kuhanje 1 se sama ne zagrijava - do zagrijavanja dolazi kada nešto u posudi na ploči bude zagrijano, te se visoka temperatura u posudi zrači natrag na ploču za kuhanje 1. (Povratno zagrijavanje).

Uzrok tome je energetsko polje, koje će visoke temperature generirati isključivo u magnetski provodljivim materijalima, npr. u željeznim loncima. U drugim materijalima, npr. porculan, staklo ili keramika, energetsko polje ne može stvoriti termički učinak.

Prikladne posude za kuhanje

Koristite isključivo posude za kuhanje prikladne za indukcijske ploče za kuhanje:

■

Prikladni su lonci i tave sa dnom od čelika ili lijevanog željeza. To možete vidjeti po oznaci na samoj posudi, ili po tome da magnet ostaje pričvršćen na dnu lonca.

Neprikladni su svi metali, na kojima se ne hvata magnet, npr. aluminij, bakar,

■

plemeniti čelik, kao i nemetalne posude, primjerice od porculana, stakla, keramike, plastike itd.

Tanko dno lonca je za indukcijsko kuhanje prikladnije od debelog sen-

■

dvič-dna.Vrlo kratko vrijeme reakcije na promjene postavki (kratko vrijeme predgrijavanja; brzo podesivo zapržavanje) kod debelog dna lonca nije moguće.

Koristite isključivo posude za kuhanje, koje veličini ploče za kuhanje 1 odgovaraju. Promjer...

–

ne smije biti veći od 26 cm, kako posuda ne bi stršila, ne smije biti manji od 16 cm, kako bi energetsko polje uopće moglo –

djelovati.

–

Dno lonca ne smije biti neravno, nego mora ravno prijanjati.

Samo tako indukcijska ploča može besprijekorno funkcionirati.

Postavljanje

Uređaju je potreban slobodan dovod zraka, kako se ne bi pregrijao. Zbog toga uređaj postavite tako, da ...

–

naokolo ostane min. 10 cm razmaka, npr. prema zidovima, prema gore ostane min. 60 cm razmaka, npr. prema visećem ormaru. –

Uređaj u svrhu hlađenja usisava zrak kroz otvore na donjoj strani.

■

Stoga uređaj postavite isključivo na ravnim površinama, ne na tekstilnim podlogama poput stolnjaka.

Uređaj ne postavljajte u blizini zastora, zavjesa ili drugih tekstilnih predmeta,

■

koji bi se mogli u zračnom mlazu pripojiti za uređaj.

Uporaba

Kada ste uređaj raspakirali i postavili na opisani način, isti će biti spreman za uporabu.

Postavljanje posude za kuhanje

Na sredini ploče za kuhanje ■ 1 postavite posudu za kuhanje. Ona ne smije...

stršati izvan ruba ploče za kuhanje

biti teža od 10 kg (zajedno sa sadržajem). –

Uključivanje

Kada je posuda za kuhanje sa sadržajem na ploči za kuhanje ■ 1 postavljena:

Čim posudu za kuhanje skinete sa ploče za kuhanje, dojava "Err" trepti na ► displayu.

kada nakon uključivanja u roku od 30 sekundi ne odaberete više niti – jednu funkciju,

ako tipku Uklj/Isklj – 5 ponovo aktivirate, i dok je uređaj u pogonu.

Ako kuhate uz pomoć podešenja „Temperatura“, uređaj posudu za kuhanje

zagrijava na podešenu temperaturu. Ako temperatura padne ispod podešene vrijednosti, uređaj ponovo vrši zagrijavanje. Temperatura se održava.

U podešenju "Stupanj snage" posuda za kuhanje se zagrijava različitom ► brzinom. Što je viši podešeni stupanj snage, to brže se vrši zagrijavanje posude za kuhanje.

NAPOMENA

Zagrijavanje počinje, čim aktivirate jednu od ovih tipaka. Podešenja možete ► promijeniti i svakom trenutku za vrijeme rada uređaja.

Izaberite sa tipkama + – 7 i --- 9 željeni stupanj snage (L1 - L10). Predpodešen je srednji stupanj snage (L5).

Pritisnite tipku za kuhanje displayu 8 se pojavljuje „120“ a ispod displaya 8 simbol „°C“. Zatim izaberite sa tipkama + 7 i --- 9 željenu temperaturu (60 - 240°C). Predpodešena je temperatura od 120°C.

Mjereno vrijeme (Timer)

Možete unaprijed izabrati vremenski rok od 0 - 180 min, nakon čijeg isteka se ploča za kuhanje 1 samostalno treba isključiti.

■

Prvo pokrenite zagrijavanje na prethodno opisani način. Onda pritisnite tipku Timer ■ 0. Kontrolna lampica Timer e svijetli, na

displayu 8 se pojavljuje „120“ i ispod displaya 8 „min“. Sa tipkama +

■ 7 i --- 9 sada možete podesiti željeno vrijeme od 0 -

180 minuta ...

prema naprijed u koracima od po 1 minute (ako tipku +

– 7 duže

držite, vrijeme se kreće prema naprijed u koracima od po 5 minuta),

–

prema nazad u koracima od po 5 minuta.

Ako ste podesili željeno vrijeme i ne pritisnete ni jednu tipku, vrijeme se ■ automatski pokreće. Podešen stupanj snage/temperatura se pojavljuje naizmjenično sa preostalim vremenom timera na displayu 8. Ako ste za vrijeme podesili vrijednost 0, uređaj se nakon 5 sekundi samostalno isključuje.

Dječje osiguranje

U svrhu spriječavanja neželjenog uključivanja ili promjene postavki, primjerice od strane djece, uređaj je zaštićen dječjem osiguranjem.

U Stand-by-modusu pritisnite tipku za dječje osiguranje

■ 6 tako dugo, dok se

ne oglasi signalni ton i kontrolna svjetiljka za dječje osiguranje 3 ne zasvije- tli. Sada su sve tipke, osim tipke za dječje osiguranje 6 blokirane.

Za deaktiviranje dječjeg osiguranja ponovo pritisnite i držite tipku za dječje

■

osiguranje 6, dok se ne oglasi signalni zvuk i dok se kontrolna svjetiljka za dječje osiguranje 3 ne zagasi. Tipke su sada ponovo deblokirane.

NAPOMENA

Ako u pogonu aktivirate dječje osiguranje, i dalje možete tipku Uklj/Isklj ► 5 za isključivanje, kao i tipku za dječje osiguranje 6 aktivirati.

Čišćenje

Prije čišćenja uređaja uvijek izvucite mrežni utikač

► Niukom slučaju ne smijete uređaj ili njegove dijelove uroniti u tekućine!

Uslijed toga može doći do opasnosti po život uslijed strujnog udara, te do oštećenja uređaja.

Nikada ne otvarajte kućište uređaja. U protivnom postoji opasnost po život ► uslijed strujnog udara.

Uređaj prije čišćenja ostavite da se ohladi. Opasnost od opeklina!

PAŽNJA - PREDMETNA ŠTETA!

Ne koristite otapala ili ribajuća sredstva. Ova sredstva mogu dovesti do ► oštećenja ploče za kuhanje 1 i plastičnih površina.

Ne koristite ribajuća, agresivna ili kemijska sredstva za čišćenje. ► Ova sredstva mogu izazvati nepopravljiva oštećenja površine uređaja!

■ 2 samo pomoću blago navlažene krpe

Očistite sve površine i mrežni kabel za pranje suđe.

U svakom slučaju uređaj dobro osušite prije ponovne uporabe.

■

Zapečene nečistoće na ploči za kuhanje ■ 1 možete odstraniti pomoću strugalice posebno napravljene za staklene ploče za kuhanje, koje možete nabaviti u trgovinama sa robom za domaćinstvo.

Ako postoje vidljiva onečišćenja u području ventilacijskih otvora, možete iste

■

pokušati očistiti sa vanjske strane pomoću usisavača.
