Intended use

This device allows you to connect three source devices (e.g. SAT
receiver, Blu-ray player or HD camera) with an HDMI connection
of your television or beamer. It is not possible to distribute a source
device to three output devices, since only one output device can be
connected. This device is exclusively intended for non-commercial use.
The device is not intended for any other use or for uses extending
beyond those stated. Claims of any kind for damage arising as a
result of non-intended use are excluded. The user is the sole bearer
of the risk.

Safety

This section provides you with important safety information regarding
the handling of the device. The device complies with statutory safety
regulations. Incorrect usage can lead to personal injury and property
damage.

Basic safety instructions

For safe handling of the device, follow the safety instructions below:

■ Before use, check the device for visible external damage. Do not

start up a damaged device or one that has been dropped.

■ Damaged cables or connections should be replaced by the

customer service department.

■ Always take hold of the connection cable by the plug. Do not pull

on the cable itself and never touch the connection cable with wet
hands, this could result in either a short circuit or you receiving an
electric shock.

■ Do not place objects, furniture or similar items on the connection

cable and ensure that it cannot become trapped.

Never make a knot in the connection cable and do not bind it

together with other cables. The connection cable should be
routed in such a way that it cannot be stepped on.

■ This device is not intended for use by persons (including children)

with limited physical, physiological or intellectual abilities or lack
of experience and/or knowledge unless they are supervised by a
person who is responsible for their safety, or receive instructions
from this person on how to use the device.

■ Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play

with the device.

■ Only have repairs carried out by authorised specialist companies

or the customer service. Improper repairs can pose signifi cant
risks to the user. Warranty claims also become void.

■ Repairs to the device during the warranty period may only be

carried out by a customer service department authorised by the
manufacturer. Otherwise no additional warranty claims can be
considered for subsequent damage.

■ Defective components may only be replaced with original replace-

ment parts. Only by using original replacement parts can it be
guaranteed that safety requirements are being complied with.

■ Do not make any unauthorised modifi cations or alterations to

the device.

■ Do not operate the device close to open fl ames.

■ Protect the device from moisture and liquid penetration. Do not place

any liquid-fi lled vessels (such as fl ower vases) next to the device.

Disposal of packaging

The packaging protects the device from transport damage.
The packaging materials have been selected in accordance with
their environmental friendliness and disposal attributes, and are
therefore recyclable.

The recirculation of packaging into the material circuit

saves on raw material and reduces the amount of waste
generated. Dispose of packaging material that is no
longer needed in accordance with applicable local
regulations.

If possible, keep the device's original packaging during the

warranty period so that the device can be properly packed
for returning in the event of a warranty claim.

Requirements for the setup location

For safe and trouble-free operation of the device, the setup location
must fulfi l the following provisions:

■ The device must be placed on a fi rm, fl at and level surface.

■ Do not place the device in a hot, wet or extremely moist environ-

ment or close to fl ammable materials.

■ Place the device so that it is not exposed to direct sunlight.

■ Do not place the device in close proximity to magnetic fi elds

(e.g. speakers).

Handling and use

This section provides you with important information on handling and
using the device.

Connecting the HDMI changeover switch

♦ Connect the HDMI connection cable to your output device

(e.g. television or beamer).

♦ Connect your source devices (e.g. SAT receiver, DVD player

or games console) to the HDMI input sockets 4. Use a high­speed HDMI connection cable to obtain optimum video and
audio quality.

NOTE

If you connect a source device with 3D content (e.g. a

►

Blu-ray player) to the HDMI changeover switch, always
use a high-speed HDMI connection cable.

Using the HDMI changeover switch

♦ Switch your output device (e.g. television or beamer) on and

activate the HDMI input to which the HDMI changeover switch
is connected. To do this, follow the operating instructions for
the output device.

♦ Switch on the source device that you wish to use. The HDMI

changeover switch automatically changes over to the relevant
channel. The channel that has been selected (1, 2 or 3) is
indicated by the relevant channel LED 2.

♦ Press SELECT 3 to select a channel manually. Each press of

the SELECT button switches the channel to the next switched-on
source device in descending order.

NOTE

If a source device is switched off , the HDMI changeover

►

switch automatically switches to the next source device that
is switched on in descending order

► Some source devices also output a signal on the HDMI output

when they are in standby. It is therefore possible that the auto­matic changeover will not always take place. In this case a
manual changeover is required.

The warranty provided for this device is 3 years from date of purchase.
This device has been manufactured with care and inspected meticu­lously prior to delivery.

Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the event of a
warranty claim, please contact the Customer Service by telephone.
This is the only way to ensure that your goods will be dispatched free
of charge.

NOTE

The warranty covers only claims for material and manufac-

turing defects, not for transport damages, worn parts or for
damage to fragile components, e.g. buttons or batteries.

This device is exclusively intended for private use and not for com­mercial purposes. The warranty is deemed void if this product has
been subjected to improper or inappropriate handling, abuse or
modifi cations that were not carried out by one of our authorised
service centres.

Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by this warranty.
The warranty period is not extended by repairs made under the
warranty. This also applies to replaced and repaired parts. Damage
and defects present at the time of purchase must be reported im­mediately after unpacking, or no later than two days after the date
of purchase. Repairs made after expiry of the warranty period are

Użytkowanie zgodne z przeznaczeniem

To urządzenie umożliwia podłączenie do złącza HDMI telewizora
lub projektora trzech urządzeń źródłowych (np. odbiornika TV SAT,
odtwarzacza Blu-ray i kamery HD). To urządzenie nie umożliwia

rozdzielenia sygnału jednego urządzenia źródłowego na trzy urzą­dzenia odbiorcze, gdyż można do niego podłączyć tylko jedno urzą­dzenie odbiorcze. Urządzenie przeznaczone jest wyłącznie do
zastosowań prywatnych. Inne lub wykraczające poza powyższe
użytkowanie uznaje się za niezgodne z przeznaczeniem. Wszelkie
roszczenia z tytułu szkód wynikających z użytkowania niezgodnie z
przeznaczeniem są wykluczone. Ryzyko ponosi wyłącznie użytkownik.

Nigdy nie wiąż kabla przyłączeniowego na supeł ani nie łącz

kabla z innymi kablami. Kabel przyłączeniowy musi być ułożony
tak, by nikt na niego nie stawał.

■ Opisywane urządzenie nie jest przeznaczone do obsługi przez

wyłącznie autoryzowanym serwisom, ponieważ w przeciwnym
razie przy kolejnych usterkach produktu nie będzie przysługiwać
roszczenie z tytułu gwarancji.

■ Uszkodzone elementy wymieniaj zawsze na oryginalne części

zamienne. Tylko te części gwarantują odpowiednie bezpieczeń­stwo użytkowania urządzenia.

Podłączanie przełącznika HDMI

♦ Podłącz kabel przyłączeniowy HDMI do urządzenia

wyjściowego (np. telewizora lub projektora).

♦ Podłącz urządzenia źródłowe (np. odbiornik TV SAT, odtwa-

rzacz DVD lub konsolę do gier) do gniazd wejściowych
HDMI 4. Aby uzyskać optymalną jakość obrazu i dźwięku,
używaj kabla High Speed HDMI.

Jeżeli używasz urządzenia źródłowego 3D (np. odtwarzacza

Blu-ray) do podłączenia do przełącznika HDMI, używaj

Stosowanie przełącznika HDMI

♦ Podłącz urządzenie wyjściowe (np. telewizor lub projektor) i

aktywuj wejście HDMI, do którego jest podłączony przełącz­nik HDMI. Przestrzegaj przy tym instrukcji obsługi urządzenia
wyjściowego.

♦ Włącz wybrane urządzenie źródłowe. Przełącznik HDMI

przełącza się teraz automatycznie do odpowiedniego kanału.
Ustawiony kanał (1, 2 lub 3) jest sygnalizowany przez odpo­wiednią diodę LED kanału 2.

♦ Naciśnij przycisk SELECT 3, by wybrać kanał ręcznie. Każde

naciśnięcie przycisku SELECT powoduje przełączenie w kolej­ności narastającej do następnego urządzenia źródłowego.

Jeżeli urządzenie źródłowe zostanie wyłączone, przełącznik

HDMI przełącza się automatycznie w kolejności malejącej do
następnego włączonego urządzenia źródłowego

Dieses Gerät ermöglicht es Ihnen, drei Quellgeräte (z.B. SAT-Receiver,
Blu-ray-Player oder HD-Kamera) mit einem HDMI-Anschluss Ihres
Fernsehers bzw. Beamers zu verbinden. Mit dem Gerät ist es nicht
möglich, ein Quellgerät auf drei Ausgabegeräte zu verteilen, da nur
ein Ausgabegerät angeschlossen werden kann. Dieses Gerät ist

ausschließlich für den nicht gewerblichen Gebrauch vorgesehen.

Eine andere oder darüber hinausgehende Benutzung gilt als nicht
bestimmungsgemäß. Ansprüche jeglicher Art wegen Schäden aus

Betrieb des Gerätes.

HDMI-Umschalter verwenden

♦ Schalten Sie Ihr Ausgabegerät (z.B. Fernseher oder Beamer)

ein und aktivieren Sie den HDMI-Eingang, an welchen der
HDMI-Umschalter angeschlossen ist. Beachten Sie hierzu die
Bedienungsanleitung des Ausgabegerätes.

♦ Schalten Sie Ihr Quellgerät, welches Sie verwenden möchten,

ein. Der HDMI-Umschalter wechselt nun automatisch auf den
entsprechenden Kanal. Der eingestellte Kanal (1, 2 oder 3)
wird durch die entsprechende Kanal-LED 2 angezeigt.

♦ Drücken Sie die Taste SELECT 3, um einen Kanal manuell aus-

zuwählen. Bei jedem Druck auf die Taste SELECT wechselt der
Kanal in absteigender Reihenfolge zum nächsten eingeschalte­tem Quellgerät.

HINWEIS

Wird ein Quellgerät ausgeschaltet, wechselt der HDMI-

Umschalter automatisch in absteigender Reihenfolge zum
nächsten eingeschalteten Quellgerät

► Manche Quellgeräte geben auch im Standby-Betrieb am

HDMI-Ausgang ein Signal aus. Daher kann es vorkommen,
dass die automatische Umschaltung nicht immer durchge­führt wird. Schalten Sie in diesem Fall den Kanal manuell um.

verlängert. Dies gilt auch für ersetzte und reparierte Teile. Eventuell
schon beim Kauf vorhandene Schäden und Mängel müssen sofort
nach dem Auspacken gemeldet werden, spätestens aber zwei Tage
nach Kaufdatum. Nach Ablauf der Garantiezeit anfallende Repara­turen sind kostenpfl ichtig.
