Einleitung
Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Kauf Ihres neuen Gerätes.
Sie haben sich damit für ein hochwertiges Produkt entschieden. Die Bedienungsanleitung ist Bestandteil dieses Produkts. Sie enthält wichtige Hinweise für Sicherheit,
Gebrauch und Entsorgung. Machen Sie sich vor der Benutzung des Produkts mit
allen Bedien- und Sicherheitshinweisen vertraut. Benutzen Sie das Produkt nur
wie beschrieben und für die angegebenen Einsatzbereiche. Händigen Sie alle
Unterlagen bei Weitergabe des Produkts an Dritte mit aus.
Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Das Gerät ist ausschließlich zum Dampfbürsten/-glätten von Kleidung bestimmt.
Sie dürfen das Gerät nur innerhalb geschlossener Räume und in privaten Haushalten verwenden. Alle anderen Verwendungen gelten als nicht bestimmungsgemäß.
Das Gerät ist nicht zur Verwendung in gewerblichen oder industriellen Bereichen
vorgesehen. Ansprüche jeglicher Art wegen Schäden aus nicht bestimmungsgemäßer Verwendung, unsachgemäßen Reparaturen, unerlaubt vorgenommenen
Veränderungen oder Verwendung nicht zugelassener Ersatzteile sind ausgeschlossen. Das Risiko trägt allein der Benutzer.

GEFAHR
► Verpackungsmaterialien dürfen nicht von Kindern zum Spielen verwendet
werden. Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr.
♦ Entnehmen Sie alle Teile des Gerätes und die Bedienungsanleitung aus der
Verpackung.
♦ Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial vom Gerät.

Sicherheitshinweise
STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR
► Die Spannung der Stromquelle muss mit den Angaben auf
dem Typenschild des Gerätes übereinstimmen.
► Lassen Sie ein defektes Gerät umgehend von einer qualifi-
zierten Fachwerkstatt instandsetzen oder wenden Sie sich
an den Kundenservice, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
► Lassen Sie beschädigte Netzstecker oder Netzkabel sofort
von autorisiertem Fachpersonal oder dem Kundenservice
austauschen, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
► Ziehen Sie immer nur am Netzstecker, niemals am Netzkabel,
um das Gerät von der Stromversorgung zu trennen.
► Knicken oder quetschen Sie das Netzkabel nicht und ver-
legen Sie es so, dass es nicht in Kontakt mit heißen Oberflächen kommt und niemand darauf treten oder darüber
stolpern kann.
► Ziehen Sie vor dem Reinigen, vor dem Auffüllen mit Wasser
und nach jedem Gebrauch den Netzstecker.
► Rollen Sie das Netzkabel vor dem Einschalten immer voll-
ständig ab und verwenden Sie keine Verlängerungskabel.
► Fassen Sie das Netzkabel oder den Netzstecker niemals mit
feuchten Händen an.
► Benutzen Sie das Gerät keinesfalls in der Nähe von Wasser,
das in Badewannen, Duschen, Waschbecken oder anderen
Gefäßen enthalten ist. Die Nähe von Wasser stellt eine Gefahr dar, auch wenn das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist.

STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR
► Sie dürfen das Gerät keinesfalls in eine Flüssigkeit tauchen
und keine Flüssigkeiten in das Gerätegehäuse gelangen
lassen.
► Sie dürfen das Gerät keiner Feuchtigkeit aussetzen und nicht
im Freien benutzen. Falls doch einmal Flüssigkeit in das Gerätegehäuse gelangt, ziehen Sie sofort den Netzstecker des
Gerätes aus der Steckdose und lassen Sie es von qualifiziertem Fachpersonal reparieren.
► Sie dürfen das Gerätegehäuse nicht öffnen. Lassen Sie das
defekte Gerät nur von qualifiziertem Fachpersonal reparieren.
► Benutzen Sie das Gerät auf keinen Fall, wenn es sichtbare
Beschädigungen aufweist, heruntergefallen ist oder Wasser
ausläuft. Lassen Sie es erst von qualifiziertem Fachpersonal
reparieren.
► Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und von Perso-
nen mit reduzierten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen
Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und/oder Wissen
benutzt werden, wenn sie dabei von einer erwachsenen
Person beaufsichtigt werden oder bezüglich des sicheren
Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und die daraus
resultierenden Gefahren verstanden haben.
► Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen. Reinigung und
Wartung des Gerätes dürfen nicht durch Kinder ohne Beaufsichtigung durchgeführt werden.

► Stellen Sie das Gerät immer auf den Fuß.
► Stellen Sie das Gerät nur auf einen ebenen und hitzeunemp-
findlichen Untergrund. Das Gerät muss stabil stehen.
► Lassen Sie das heiße, am Stromnetz angeschlossene oder
eingeschaltete Gerät niemals unbeaufsichtigt.
► Kinder sollten beaufsichtigt werden, um sicherzustellen, dass
sie nicht mit dem Gerät spielen
► Zielen Sie mit dem Dampf niemals auf Menschen, Tiere oder
.
auf Kleidung, die gerade getragen wird.
► Halten Sie niemals Ihre Hände in den Dampf oder an heiße
Metallteile.
► Sie dürfen die Einfüllöffnung des Wassertanks während des
Gebrauchs nicht öffnen. Lassen Sie das Gerät zunächst abkühlen und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.
► Verstauen Sie das Gerät nur im abgekühlten Zustand.
► Das Gerät und dessen Anschlussleitung müssen während
des Einschaltens oder Abkühlens außer Reichweite von Kindern sein, die jünger als 8 Jahre alt sind.
► Lassen Sie niemals Kinder unbeaufsichtigt das Gerät benutzen.
► Das Gerät ist mit Vorsicht zu benutzen, da es Dampf ab-
geben kann.

ACHTUNG – SACHSCHADEN!
► Beachten Sie die auf dem Etikett des Kleidungsstücks ange-
gebenen Pflegehinweise und die für das Material geeigneten
Temperatureinstellungen. Sie können die Wäsche andernfalls
beschädigen. Falls Sie keine Pflegehinweise kennen, beginnen
Sie mit einem nicht sichtbaren Teil des Kleidungsstücks, wie
z. B. der Innennaht, um die Wirkung zu überprüfen.
► Falls die Pflegehinweise in einem Kleidungsstück das Bügeln
untersagen (Symbol
), dürfen Sie das Kleidungsstück
auch nicht mit dem Gerät glätten. Sie könnten das Kleidungsstück andernfalls beschädigen.
► Sie dürfen zum Dampfglätten ausschließlich Leitungswasser
oder destilliertes Wasser in den Wassertank einfüllen. Andernfalls beschädigen Sie das Gerät. Davon ausgenommen
ist das Entkalken des Gerätes. Hierfür sollten Sie ein Entkalkungsmittel verwenden (siehe Kapitel Entkalkung).
► Sie dürfen das Gerät nicht mit aggressiven, chemischen oder
scheuernden Reinigungsmitteln säubern. Andernfalls könnten
Sie es beschädigen.

Vor der ersten Verwendung
HINWEIS
► Während der ersten Anwendungen kann es zu einer leichten Rauch- und
unschädlichen Geruchsentwicklung kommen, wobei in geringem Ausmaß
Partikel austreten. Diese Erscheinung wirkt sich nicht hinsichtlich der Verwendung des Gerätes aus und verschwindet schnell.
♦ Um fertigungsbedingte Rückstände aus dem Heiz- und Wasserkreislaufsys-
tem zu entfernen, befüllen Sie den Wassertank
gen Sie die Dampffunktion solange, bis der Wassertank 0 ungefähr halb
geleert ist (siehe Kapitel Bedienung).
♦ Halten Sie dabei das Gerät über ein Waschbecken, o. ä. Die Produktions-
rückstände werden so aus den Leitungen gespült.
♦ Betätigen Sie dann noch einmal die Dampffunktion und testen Sie an einem
alten Tuch, ob noch immer Rückstände aus den Dampfaustrittsöffnungen
treten.
♦ Sollten keine Rückstände mehr austreten, ist das Gerät nun betriebsbereit.
Wenn weitere Partikel auf dem Tuch zu sehen sind, wiederholen Sie den
oben beschrieben Vorgang noch einmal.

HINWEIS
► Das Gerät sollte zum Dampfglätten nur mit Leitungswasser oder destillier-
tem Wasser verwendet werden. Falls Ihr Wasser kalkhaltig ist, empfiehlt es
sich, das Leitungswasser mit destilliertem Wasser zu mischen. Ansonsten
kann das Gerät schnell verkalken.
Um einen optimalen Betrieb des Gerätes zu gewährleisten, mischen Sie
das Leitungswasser mit destilliertem Wasser entsprechend der Tabelle.

Die Wasserhärte können Sie beim örtlichem Wasserwerk erfragen.
► Verwenden Sie niemals Wasser, das mit Zusatzstoffen versetzt ist (z. B.
mit Stärke, Duft- oder Aromastoffen oder Weichspülern) oder mit Kondensationswasser (z. B. Wäschetrockner-, Kühlschrank-, Klimaanlagen- oder
Regenwasser). Dieses enthält organische oder mineralische Rückstände, die
sich unter Wärmeeinwirkung sammeln und Geräuschstörungen sowie braune
Verfärbungen und einen vorzeitigen Ausfall des Gerätes verursachen können.
1) Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker des Gerätes, falls dieser mit der Steckdose verbunden ist.
2) Entfernen Sie den Wassertank

Pflegehinweise und Anwendungstipps
ACHTUNG – SACHSCHADEN!
► Sie können mit dem Gerät alle Materialien, die mit diesen Bügelsymbolen
gekennzeichnnet sind, behandeln:

(Chemiefaser, z. B. Viskose, Polyester)
(Seide, Wolle)

– (Baumwolle, Leinen)
► Falls die Pflegehinweise in der Kleidung das Bügeln untersagen (Symbol
), dürfen Sie das Kleidungsstück auch nicht mit dem Gerät glätten. Sie
könnten das Kleidungsstück anderenfalls beschädigen.
► Behandeln Sie kein Leder, Samt, imprägnierte Möbel oder dampfemp-
findliche Stoffe. Sie könnten die Textilie oder das Möbelstück andernfalls
beschädigen.
♦ Überprüfen Sie vor der Benutzung des Gerätes die Herstellerempfehlungen
zur Pflege des Kleidungsstücks auf dem Etikett.
♦ Falls Sie nicht sicher sind, ob das Kleidungsstück für das Dampfglätten geeig-
net ist, beginnen Sie mit einem nicht sichtbaren Teil des Kleidungsstücks, wie
z. B. an einer Innennaht, um die Wirkung zu überprüfen.
♦ Drücken Sie die Kleiderbürste
Sie langsame Bewegungen.
♦ Vermeiden Sie jeden direkten Kontakt des Dampfkopfes
Velours, um eine Beschädigung des Textilstücks zu vermeiden.
♦ Bei schwereren Geweben kann längeres Glätten erforderlich sein.
♦ Stoffe nehmen beim Dampfglätten Feuchtigkeit auf. Lassen Sie Kleidungsstücke
nach dem Dampfglätten immer vollständig trocknen.

► Versuchen Sie niemals, Kleidungsstücke direkt auf einer Person zu glätten.
1) Stecken Sie das Netzkabel
ein, indem Sie auf den Ein-/Ausschalter 3 drücken. Die blaue LED 1
blinkt während der Aufheizphase. Sobald die blaue LED 1 durchgehend
leuchtet, produziert das Gerät Dampf.
2) Halten Sie das Gerät am Griff

Glätten mit Kleiderbürste
1) Setzen Sie vor dem Einschalten des Gerätes die Kleiderbürste 4 auf den
Dampfkopf 5. Achten Sie darauf, dass sich der große Flügel an der Unterseite des Dampfkopfs 5 befindet (Abb. C). Drücken Sie die Kleiderbürste 4
auf dem Dampfkopf 5 fest, bis diese hörbar einrastet.

2) Schalten Sie das Gerät ein.
3) Hängen Sie das zu glättende Kleidungsstück auf einen Kleiderbügel und ziehen
Sie es mit einer Hand glatt. Bedampfen Sie das Kleidungsstück gleichmäßig
von oben nach unten.
4) Bürsten Sie den zu glättenden Bereich, ohne zu großen Druck auszuüben,
langsam von oben nach unten. Die Kombination von Dampf und Kleiderbürste
4 entfernt sanft alle Falten.
5) Schalten Sie das Gerät aus, indem Sie auf den Ein-/Ausschalter
Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose und lassen Sie das Gerät
abkühlen.
6) Um die Kleiderbürste

Gerät außer Betrieb nehmen
1) Schalten Sie das Gerät nach dem Gebrauch aus, indem Sie erneut auf den

Gerät von der Stromversorgung trennen.
2) Bevor Sie das Gerät verstauen, lassen Sie es vollständig abkühlen und leeren
Sie jedes Mal den Wassertank
HINWEIS
► Das Gerät schaltet sich automatisch nach 15 Minuten in den Standby-Be-
trieb, wenn das Gerät in dieser Zeit nicht benutzt wird (Auto-Off- Funktion).
Im Standby-Betrieb blinkt die rote LED
3 drücken. Die blaue LED 1 erlischt. Sie können das
0 des Gerätes.

► Ziehen Sie vor jeder Reinigung den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose. An-
sonsten besteht Stromschlaggefahr.

► Ziehen Sie vor jeder Reinigung den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose und
lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen. Ansonsten besteht Verbrennungsgefahr.

ACHTUNG – SACHSCHADEN!
► Benutzen Sie keine aggressiven, scheuernden oder chemischen Reini-
gungsmittel. Diese können die Oberfläche angreifen und zu irreparablen
Schäden am Gerät führen
♦ Reinigen Sie das Gehäuse und den Dampfkopf
leicht mit Wasser befeuchteten Tuch.
♦ Lassen Sie nach dem Reinigen das Gehäuse des Gerätes vollständig trocknen,
bevor Sie es wieder benutzen.

Entkalkung
Das Gerät muss regelmäßig entkalkt werden, damit es sein maximales Leistungsvermögen beibehält
des Wassers und der Häufigkeit, mit der das Gerät gebraucht wird, abhängig
gemacht werden
Es wird empfohlen, das Gerät mindestens einmal pro Jahr oder nach einer Betriebszeit von jeweils 50 Stunden zu entkalken. Wir empfehlen Ihnen auch, das
Gerät zu entkalken, sobald Sie eine verringerte Dampfmenge feststellen
HINWEIS
► Benutzen Sie zum Entkalken ein handelsübliches Entkalkungsmittel auf Zitro-

Entsorgung
Verpackung entsorgen
Die Verpackungs materialien sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichtspunkten ausgewählt und deshalb recyclebar.
Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigte Verpackungsmaterialien gemäß den örtlich
geltenden Vorschriften.
Entsorgen Sie die Verpackung umweltgerecht.
Beachten Sie die Kennzeichnung auf den verschiedenen Verpackungsmaterialien
und trennen Sie diese gegebenenfalls gesondert. Die Verpackungsmaterialien

integral part of this product. They contain important information about safety,
usage and disposal. Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all
operating and safety instructions. Use the product only as described and for the
range of applications specified. Please also pass these operating instructions on

Intended use
This appliance is intended exclusively for steam brushing/smoothing clothes. The
appliance may only be used indoors and in private households. Any other use is
deemed improper.
The appliance is not intended for use in commercial or industrial environments.
The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for damage caused by failure to
observe these instructions, improper use or repairs, unauthorised modifications or
the use of unapproved replacement parts. The risk is borne solely by the user.

Safety information
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
► The rating of the power supply must correspond with the
details given on the rating plate of the appliance.
► To avoid potential risks, arrange for a defective appliance
to be checked and, if required, repaired by qualified
technicians, or contact our Customer Service Department.
► Arrange for defective power plugs and/or cables to be
replaced as soon as possible by a qualified technician or by
our Customer Service Department to avoid the risk of injury.
► Pull only on the plug itself when unplugging the appliance,
never on the power cable.
► Never bend (kink) or crush the power cable, always route
it in such a way that it cannot come into contact with hot

► Do not expose the appliance to humidity and do not use it
outdoors. If any liquid gets into the housing, disconnect the

► Do not open the appliance housing. If the appliance is
defective, have it repaired by an authorised technician only.
► Do not use the appliance if it shows visible signs of damage,
has fallen or leaks water. Arrange for it to be repaired by

► When you use the appliance for the first time, it might emit some smoke, a
harmless odour and a small amount of particles. This does not affect the
function of the appliance and does not last long.
♦ To remove production-related residues from the heating and water circulation
system, fill the water tank

► The appliance should only be used with tap water or distilled water for
steaming. If your tap water is hard, we recommend that you mix it with
distilled water. Otherwise, the appliance will accumulate limescale quickly.
Mix the tap water with distilled water in accordance with the following
table for optimal performance.

Information about the level of hardness of water in your area can be

Descaling
The appliance must be descaled regularly to maintain its maximum
performance. The frequency of descaling depends on the quality of the water
and the frequency with which the appliance is used.
We recommend that you descale the appliance either once a year or after
50 hours of total use. We recommend descaling immediately, however, if you
notice that the appliance is generating less steam.
1) Ensure that the appliance has completely cooled down.
2) Add the descaling agent to the water tank

Dear Customer,
This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from the date of purchase. If this product
has any faults, you, the buyer, have certain statutory rights
are not restricted in any way by the warranty described below
Warranty conditions
The warranty period starts on the date of purchase. Please keep your receipt in a
safe place. This will be required as proof of purchase.
If any material or manufacturing fault occurs within three years of the date of
purchase of the product, we will either repair or replace the product for you or
refund the purchase price (at our discretion). This warranty service requires that
you present the defective appliance and the proof of purchase (receipt) within
the three-year warranty period, along with a brief written description of the fault
and of when it occurred.
If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product will either be repaired
or replaced by us. The repair or replacement of a product does not signify the
beginning of a new warranty period.
Warranty period and statutory claims for defects
The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs effected under the warranty.
This also applies to replaced and repaired components. Any damage and
defects present at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking. Repairs carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall be subject
to a fee.

Scope of the warranty
This appliance has been manufactured in accordance with strict quality guidelines and inspected meticulously prior to delivery.
The warranty covers material faults or production faults. The warranty does not
extend to product parts subject to normal wear and tear or to fragile parts which

made of glass.
The warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged, improperly used
or improperly maintained. The directions in the operating instructions for the
product regarding proper use of the product are to be strictly followed. Uses and

This product is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes.
The warranty shall be deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling, use
of force and modifications / repairs which have not been carried out by one of

Consignes de sécurité
RISQUE D'ÉLECTROCUTION
► La tension de la source de courant doit correspondre aux
indications figurant sur la plaque signalétique de l'appareil.
► Faites immédiatement réparer l'appareil défectueux par un
atelier qualifié ou adressez-vous au service après-vente pour
éviter tout incident.
► Faites immédiatement remplacer la fiche secteur ou le cordon
d'alimentation endommagé par des techniciens spécialisés
agréés ou par le service après-vente pour éviter tout risque.
► Tirez toujours sur la fiche secteur, jamais sur le cordon
d'alimentation pour débrancher l'appareil de l'alimentation
électrique.
► Ne pliez pas ou n'écrasez pas le cordon d'alimentation, ne
le posez pas sur des surfaces brûlantes et à des endroits où
il y a un risque de marcher ou de trébucher dessus.
► Débranchez la fiche secteur avant le nettoyage, avant de
remplir d'eau et après chaque utilisation.
► Déroulez toujours complètement le cordon d'alimentation
avant de mettre en marche et n'utilisez aucune rallonge.
► Ne manipulez jamais le cordon d'alimentation ou la prise
secteur avec les mains mouillées.
► N'utilisez en aucun cas l'appareil à proximité d'eau conte-
nue par exemple dans des baignoires, (receveurs de)
douches, lavabos ou autres récipients. La proximité de l'eau
représente un danger, même si l'appareil est éteint.

► Vous ne devez en aucun cas plonger l'appareil dans un
liquide ni laisser pénétrer du liquide dans le boîtier de
l'appareil.
► Vous ne devez pas exposer l'appareil à l'humidité ni l'utiliser
à l'extérieur. Si toutefois du liquide venait à pénétrer dans le
boîtier de l'appareil, débranchez immédiatement la fiche de
la prise secteur et confiez l'appareil à un technicien spécialisé
pour le réparer.
► Vous ne devez pas ouvrir le boîtier de l'appareil. Confiez la
réparation de l'appareil défectueux uniquement à un technicien spécialisé.

Avant la première mise en service
REMARQUE
► Un léger dégagement de fumée et d'odeur non toxique peut se produire
lors des premières utilisations, avec une faible production de particules.
Cela n'a aucune influence sur l'utilisation de l'appareil et disparait rapidement.
♦ Pour éliminer les résidus de fabrication du système de chauffage et du
système de circulation d’eau, remplissez le réservoir à eau
tionnez la fonction vapeur jusqu’à ce que le réservoir à eau 0 se soit vidé
approximativement de moitié (voir le chapitre Utilisation).
♦ Ce faisant, tenez l’appareil au-dessus d’un lavabo ou similaire. De cette
manière, les résidus de fabrication sont éliminés des conduites.
♦ Actionnez encore une fois la fonction vapeur et testez sur un vieux chiffon si
des résidus continuent de sortir par les orifices de sortie de vapeur.
♦ Si plus aucun résidu ne sort, l’appareil est maintenant prêt à fonctionner. Si
des particules continuent d’être visibles sur le chiffon, répétez encore une fois
l’opération décrite ci-dessus

► Pour défroisser à la vapeur, l’appareil doit être utilisé uniquement avec de
l’eau du robinet ou de l’eau distillée. Si votre eau du robinet est calcaire, il
est recommandé de mélanger l'eau du robinet avec de l'eau distillée. Dans
le cas contraire, l'appareil risque de s'entartrer rapidement.
Mélangez l'eau du robinet à de l'eau distillée selon les proportions
indiquées dans le tableau afin de garantir un fonctionnement optimal
de l'appareil.

condensation (par ex. de l'eau du sèche-linge, réfrigérateur, de climatisation ou de pluie). Cette dernière contient des résidus organiques ou
minéraux qui s'agglutinent sous l'effet de la chaleur et risquent de causer
des nuisances sonores ainsi que des colorations marron et entraîner ainsi
une panne précoce de l'appareil.

► L’appareil vous permet de traiter toutes les matières indiquées par ces
symboles de repassage :

► Si les consignes d'entretien du vêtement interdisent le repassage (symbole
), vous ne devez pas défroisser ce vêtement avec l'appareil. Dans le cas
contraire, vous risqueriez de l'abîmer.
► Ne traitez pas le cuir, le velours, les meubles imprégnés ou les tissus sen-
sibles à la vapeur. Vous risqueriez d'abîmer les textiles ou le meuble.
♦ Avant d’utiliser l’appareil, vérifiez les recommandations données par le
fabricant sur l’étiquette pour entretenir le vêtement.
♦ Si vous n’êtes pas sûr que le vêtement peut être défroissé à la vapeur, com-
mencez sur une partie invisible du vêtement, par ex. une couture intérieure,
afin de contrôler le résultat.
♦ N’appuyez la brosse pour vêtements

laissez tout d'abord l'appareil refroidir. Sinon, il y a un risque de brûlure.

► N'utilisez pas de produits de nettoyage agressifs, abrasifs ou chimiques.
Ceux-ci peuvent agresser la surface et entraîner des dommages irréparables sur l'appareil.
♦ Nettoyez le boîtier et la tête vapeur
légèrement humidifié d’eau.
♦ Après le nettoyage, laissez le boîtier de l’appareil entièrement sécher avant
de le réutiliser.
Détartrage
L’appareil doit être détartré régulièrement afin de conserver sa performance
maximale. La fréquence de détartrage doit dépendre de la qualité de l’eau et de
la fréquence selon laquelle l’appareil est utilisé.
Il est recommandé de détartrer l’appareil au moins une fois par an ou après
chaque durée d’utilisation de 50 heures. Nous recommandons également de
détartrer l’appareil dès que vous constatez que la quantité de vapeur diminue.

Recyclage de l’emballage
Les matériaux d’emballage ont été sélectionnés selon des critères de respect de
l’environnement, de technique d’élimination et sont de ce fait recyclables.
Veuillez éliminer les matériaux d’emballage qui ne servent plus en respectant la
réglementation locale.
Recyclez l’emballage d’une manière respectueuse de l’environnement.
Observez le marquage sur les différents matériaux d’emballage et triez-les
séparément si nécessaire. Les matériaux d’emballage sont repérés par des
abréviations (a) et des numéros (b) qui ont la signification suivante:
1–7: Plastiques,
20–22: Papier et carton,
80–98: Matériaux composites.
Recyclage de l’appareil
Le symbole ci-contre, d’une poubelle barrée sur roues, indique que l’appareil doit
respecter la directive 2012/19/EU. Cette directive stipule que vous ne devez
pas éliminer cet appareil en fin de vie avec les ordures ménagères, mais le
rapporter à des points de collecte désignés, des centres de recyclage ou des
entreprises de gestion des déchets.

à présenter des vices, vous disposez de droits légaux face au vendeur de ce
produit. Vos droits légaux ne sont pas restreints par notre garantie présentée
ci-dessous.
Conditions de garantie
La période de garantie débute à la date d’achat. Veuillez bien conserver le ticket
de caisse. Celui-ci servira de preuve d’achat.
Si dans un délai de trois ans suivant la date d’achat de ce produit, un vice de
matériel ou de fabrication venait à apparaître, le produit sera réparé, remplacé
gratuitement par nos soins ou le prix d’achat remboursé, selon notre choix. Cette
prestation sous garantie nécessite, dans le délai de trois ans, la présentation
de l’appareil défectueux et du justificatif d’achat (ticket de caisse) ainsi que la
description brève du vice et du moment de son apparition.
Si le vice est couvert par notre garantie, vous recevrez le produit réparé ou un
nouveau produit en retour. Aucune nouvelle période de garantie ne débute avec
la réparation ou l’échange du produit.
Période de garantie et réclamation légale pour vices cachés
L’exercice de la garantie ne prolonge pas la période de garantie. Cette disposition s’applique également aux pièces remplacées ou réparées. Les dommages et
vices éventuellement déjà présents à l’achat doivent être signalés immédiatement
après le déballage. Toute réparation survenant après la période sous garantie
fera l’objet d’une facturation.
Étendue de la garantie
L’appareil a été fabriqué avec soin conformément à des directives de qualité
strictes et consciencieusement contrôlé avant sa livraison.
La prestation de la garantie s’applique aux vices de matériel et de fabrication.
Cette garantie ne s’étend pas aux pièces du produit qui sont exposées à une usure
normale et peuvent de ce fait être considérées comme pièces d’usure, ni aux détériorations de pièces fragiles, par ex. interrupteurs, batteries ou pièces en verre.
Cette garantie devient caduque si le produit est détérioré, utilisé ou entretenu de
manière non conforme. Toutes les instructions listées dans le manuel d’utilisation
doivent être exactement respectées pour une utilisation conforme du produit. Des

Inleiding
Hartelijk gefeliciteerd met de aankoop van uw nieuwe apparaat.
U hebt hiermee gekozen voor een hoogwaardig product. De gebruiksaanwijzing
maakt deel uit van dit product. Deze bevat belangrijke aanwijzingen voor veiligheid, gebruik en afvoer. Lees alle bedienings- en veiligheidsvoorschriften voordat
u het product in gebruik neemt. Gebruik het product uitsluitend op de voorgeschreven wijze en voor de aangegeven doeleinden. Geef alle documenten mee
als u het product overdraagt aan een derde.
Gebruik in overeenstemming met de bestemming
Het apparaat is uitsluitend bestemd voor het borstelen/strijken van kleding met
stoom. Het apparaat mag alleen binnenshuis en voor huishoudelijke doeleinden
worden gebruikt. Alle andere toepassingen gelden als niet in overeenstemming
met de bestemming.
Het apparaat is niet bedoeld voor gebruik in commerciële of industriële omgevingen. De fabrikant aanvaardt geen aansprakelijkheid voor schade als gevolg
van gebruik dat niet in overeenstemming met de bestemming is, onvakkundige
reparaties, veranderingen die ongeoorloofd zijn uitgevoerd of gebruik van
vervangingsonderdelen die niet zijn toegestaan. Het risico is uitsluitend voor de
gebruiker.

► Verpakkingsmateriaal mag niet door kinderen als speelgoed worden
gebruikt. Er bestaat verstikkingsgevaar.

♦ Verwijder alle verpakkingsmateriaal van het apparaat.

Veiligheidsvoorschriften
GEVAAR VOOR EEN ELEKTRISCHE SCHOK
► De spanning van de stroombron moet overeenkomen met de
gegevens op het typeplaatje van het apparaat.
► Laat een defect apparaat onmiddellijk door een gekwalifi-
ceerde en vakkundige werkplaats repareren, of neem contact op met de klantenservice, om risico's te voorkomen.
► Laat beschadigde stekkers en snoeren onmiddellijk door
een gekwalificeerd vakman of door de klantenservice vervangen, om risico's te vermijden.
► Trek altijd alleen aan de stekker, nooit aan het snoer om het
apparaat los te koppelen van de stroomvoorziening.
► Knik of plet het snoer niet en leg het zodanig, dat het niet in
contact komt met hete oppervlakken en dat niemand erop
kan gaan staan of erover kan struikelen.
► Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact vóór het reinigen, vóór
het vullen met water en na ieder gebruik.
► Rol het snoer altijd volledig af voordat u het apparaat
inschakelt, en gebruik geen verlengsnoer.
► Pak het snoer of de stekker nooit met vochtige handen vast.
► Gebruik de stoomborstel in geen geval in de buurt van
water dat zich in badkuipen, douches, wastafels of andere
reservoirs bevindt. De nabijheid van water vormt een gevaar,
ook als het apparaat is uitgeschakeld.

GEVAAR VOOR EEN ELEKTRISCHE SCHOK
► Dompel het apparaat in geen geval onder in een vloeistof
en laat geen vloeistoffen in de apparaatbehuizing binnendringen.
► Stel het apparaat niet bloot aan vocht en gebruik het niet in
de openlucht. Mocht er toch vloeistof in de behuizing van
het apparaat komen, haal dan direct de stekker van het
apparaat uit het stopcontact en laat het apparaat door
gekwalificeerd deskundig personeel repareren.
► Open de behuizing van het apparaat nooit. Laat een
defect apparaat uitsluitend door gekwalificeerd deskundig
personeel repareren.
► Gebruik het apparaat in geen geval als het zichtbaar be-
schadigd is, gevallen is, of als er water uit loopt. Laat het
eerst door gekwalificeerd deskundig personeel repareren.
► Dit apparaat mag worden gebruikt door kinderen vanaf
8 jaar en door personen met beperkte fysieke, zintuiglijke of
geestelijke vermogens of gebrek aan ervaring en/of kennis,
mits ze onder toezicht staan van een volwassene of over
het veilige gebruik van het apparaat zijn geïnstrueerd en
de daaruit voortkomende gevaren hebben begrepen.
► Kinderen mogen niet met het apparaat spelen. Kinderen
mogen zonder toezicht geen reiniging en onderhoud van
het apparaat uitvoeren.

► Zet het apparaat altijd op de voet neer.
► Plaats het apparaat alleen op een egale ondergrond die
bestand is tegen hitte. Het apparaat moet stabiel staan.
► Laat het apparaat nooit onbeheerd achter als het heet is,
op het lichtnet is aangesloten of is ingeschakeld.
► Bij kinderen is supervisie noodzakelijk om ervoor te zorgen
dat ze niet met het apparaat spelen
► Richt de stoom nooit op mensen of dieren of op kleding die

gebruiken.
► Wees voorzichtig wanneer u het apparaat gebruikt, want
er kan stoom uit het apparaat ontsnappen.

LET OP – MATERIËLE SCHADE!
► Neem de op het label van het kledingstuk aangegeven
onderhoudsvoorschriften en de voor het materiaal geschikte
temperatuurinstellingen in acht. Anders kunt u het strijkgoed
beschadigen. Als u de onderhoudsvoorschriften niet kent,
begint u met een niet zichtbaar deel van het kledingstuk,
bijv. de binnennaad, om de werking te controleren.
► Als het label in een kledingstuk strijken verbiedt
(symbool
), mag u het kledingstuk ook niet met dit
apparaat strijken. Anders zou u het kledingstuk kunnen
beschadigen.
► U mag voor stoomstrijken het waterreservoir uitsluitend
vullen met leidingwater of gedestilleerd water. Anders kan
het apparaat beschadigd raken.
► Reinig het apparaat nooit met agressieve, chemische of
schurende schoonmaakmiddelen. Anders zou u het kunnen
beschadigen.

Vóór het eerste gebruik
OPMERKING
► De eerste keren dat het apparaat wordt gebruikt, kan er een lichte
rookontwikkeling en onschadelijke geurontwikkeling ontstaan, waarbij in
geringe mate deeltjes uit het apparaat komen. Dit heeft geen invloed op
het gebruik van het apparaat en verdwijnt snel.
♦ Om fabricageresten uit het verwarmings- en watercircuit te verwijderen vult u
het waterreservoir
reservoir 0 ongeveer half leeg is (zie het hoofdstuk Bediening).
♦ Houd daarbij het apparaat boven een gootsteen of iets dergelijks. Zo wor-
den de fabricageresten uit de leidingen gespoeld.
♦ Druk dan nog een keer op de stoomfunctie en controleer op een oude doek
of er nog steeds fabricageresten uit de stoomopeningen komen.
♦ Komen er geen resten meer uit, dan is het apparaat klaar voor gebruik.
Herhaal het hierboven beschreven proces als er nog steeds vuildeeltjes op
de doek te zien zijn.

► In het apparaat mag voor stoomstrijken alleen leidingwater of gedistilleerd
water worden gebruikt. Als uw leidingwater te hard is, kunt u het leidingwater het beste mengen met gedestilleerd water. Anders kan het apparaat
verkalkt raken.
Voor optimaal gebruik van het apparaat mengt u het leidingwater met
gedestilleerd water volgens de onderstaande tabel.

De waterhardheid kunt u bij uw plaatselijke waterbedrijf opvragen.
► Gebruik nooit water dat extra stoffen bevat (bijv. zetmeel , geur- of aroma-
stoffen of wasverzachters) of condenswater (bijv. wasdroger-, koelkast-,
airco- of regenwater). Dit bevat organische of minerale deeltjes, die zich
bij warmteontwikkeling ophopen en kunnen leiden tot geluidsstoringen,
bruine verkleuringen en voortijdig uitvallen van het apparaat.

Strijkvoorschriften en tips voor gebruik
LET OP - MATERIËLE SCHADE!
► U kunt met het apparaat alle materialen behandelen die zijn voorzien van
deze strijksymbolen:

(synthetische stoffen, bijv. viscose, polyester)
(zijde, wol)

– (katoen, linnen)
► Als het label in de kleding strijken verbiedt (symbool
kledingstuk ook niet met dit apparaat strijken. Anders zou u het kledingstuk
kunnen beschadigen.
► Behandel geen leer, zijde, geïmpregneerde meubels of niet-stoombestendige
stoffen. Anders kan de stof of het meubel beschadigd raken.
♦ Controleer voorafgaand aan gebruik van het apparaat de adviezen van de
fabrikant voor het onderhoud van het kledingstuk op het label.
♦ Als u niet zeker weet of het kledingstuk geschikt is voor stoomstrijken, begint
u met een niet zichtbaar deel van het kledingstuk, bijv. bij een binnennaad,
om de werking te controleren.
♦ Druk de kledingborstel

♦ Laat na het reinigen de behuizing van het apparaat volledig opdrogen
Ontkalken
Het apparaat moet regelmatig worden ontkalkt, zodat het zijn maximale prestatieniveau behoudt. Hoe vaak het moet worden ontkalkt, hangt af van de kwaliteit
van het water en de frequentie waarmee het apparaat wordt gebruikt.
Het verdient aanbeveling om het apparaat minstens eenmaal per jaar of telkens
na een gebruikstijd van 50 uur te ontkalken. Het verdient aanbeveling om het

Garantievoorwaarden
De garantieperiode geldt vanaf de datum van aankoop. Bewaar de kassabon

Als er binnen drie jaar vanaf de aankoopdatum van dit product een materiaal- of
fabricagefout optreedt, wordt - naar onze keuze - het product door ons kosteloos
gerepareerd of vervangen of wordt de koopprijs terugbetaald. Voorwaarde voor
deze garantie is dat het defecte apparaat en het aankoopbewijs (kassabon)
binnen de termijn van drie jaar worden overlegd en dat kort wordt omschreven
waaruit het gebrek bestaat en wanneer het is opgetreden.
Wanneer het defect door onze garantie wordt gedekt, krijgt u het gerepareerde
product of een nieuw product retour. Met de reparatie of vervanging van het
product begint er geen nieuwe garantieperiode.
Garantieperiode en wettelijke aanspraken bij gebreken
De garantieperiode wordt door deze waarborg niet verlengd. Dat geldt ook

Voor reparaties na afloop van de garantieperiode worden kosten in rekening

Garantieomvang
Het apparaat is op basis van strenge kwaliteitsnormen met de grootst mogelijke
zorg vervaardigd en voorafgaand aan de levering nauwkeurig gecontroleerd.
De garantie geldt voor materiaal- of fabricagefouten. Deze garantie geldt niet
voor productonderdelen die onderhevig zijn aan normale slijtage en die daarom
als slijtonderdelen worden beschouwd, of voor schade aan breekbare onderdelen zoals schakelaars, accu‘s of onderdelen die van glas zijn gemaakt.
Deze garantie vervalt wanneer het product is beschadigd, ondeskundig is
gebruikt of is gerepareerd. Voor deskundig gebruik van het product moeten alle
in de gebruiksaanwijzing beschreven aanwijzingen precies worden opgevolgd.
Gebruiksdoeleinden en handelingen die in de gebruiksaanwijzing worden afgeraden of waarvoor wordt gewaarschuwd, moeten beslist worden vermeden

Před prvním použitím
UPOZORNĚNÍ
► Při prvním použití může dojít k vývinu mírného kouře a neškodného
zápachu, při kterém uniká malé množství částic. Tento jev nemá vliv
na používání přístroje a rychle zmizí.
♦ K odstranění zbytků vzniklých při výrobě ze systému topného a vodního
okruhu nalijte vodu do nádržky na vodu
dlouho, dokud nádržka na vodu
(viz kapitola Obsluha).
♦ Přístroj při tom přidržte nad umyvadlem apod. Zbytky z výroby se tak z
hadiček vypláchnou.
♦ Pak ještě jednou aktivujte funkci páry a otestujte na staré tkanině, zda z
výstupních otvorů páry mohou stále ještě unikat zbytky.
♦ Pokud již neunikají žádné zbytky, přístroj je nyní připraven k provozu. Jsou-li
na tkanině viditelné další částice, zopakujte výše popsaný postup ještě
jednou.
