The merging kit should be used for side-by-side installation of Miele MasterCool units.
For side-by-side installation of appliances with a stainless-steal front (SF), a Topframe is needed. Please contact Miele to obtain a top-frame in the required width. The width of the Top-frame corresponds to the total width of the side-by-side combination.

PARTITION SPECIFICATIONS
If the partition wall 'a' is narrower than 6 5/16" (16 mm), a heating mat from the merging kit to prevent condensation from forming and any resulting damage.

•Merging kit must be used when combining units
•KFT1042SS top frame piece must be used when combining
units
•All Installations must be done in accordance with local codes
•Sides of adjoining cabinets should be filled (flush to frame) to insure proper fit and finish
