Model: AVR-1910, AVR-1610, AVR-790, AVR-590
Subject: Countermeasure for malfunctions reported from the market.
Symptom: 1) AVR amplifiers will not play HDMI audio with the monitors output connected to some older displays with a DVI-D input.
2)If HDMI signal is changed (ex. HDMI-cable is disconnected then re-connected, audio of HDMI is changed, etc.) while play the TEST TONE of Audyssey, audio is muted.
3)When changing an audio signal of a TEST-BD (STD100N) between 96kHz and 192kHz by a BD player (LG BD370), "Audio Master Clock" does not change then no audio is output.
4)If playing a game for PS2 by PS3 under condition that "Pj error (error of certification of HDCP)" occurs with a liquid-crystal-TV (E2200HD by BENQ),there is no picture output to the TV.
Solution: We corrected the MICON software so that the unit operates properly.
MODIFICATION: Please install the Exclusive Writer Software to a PC and rewrite your customer's unit upon claim. (Please refer to the supplied rewriting procedures.)
