The new BMW Series is a true head-turner – in its totality and in every detail. Anyone approaching it from the front will be immediately captivated by its elegance. The BMW double kidney grille emphasises the natural presence of the Saloon and the expressive apron underlines the exclusive character. Particularly striking are the front headlights which combine safety with exquisite design. They are also a perfect example of the beauty of cutting-edge light technology. For improved visibility, the indicators are integrated into the wing mirrors – one of many head-turning details.

Some encounters make a particularly captivating impression – as demonstrated by the new BMW Series Saloon. Even the rear profi le impresses the beholder: a dynamic design perfected with the utmost elegance. Its horizontal contouring, emphasised by the distinctive chrome strips, accentuates the visual impression of width. And the rear lights, set within a contrasting double L-shaped design, round
off an exclusive overall picture with their striking night-time presence. Even in the dark, the new BMW Series is unmistakably unique.

CHARISMA.
See what matters: Adaptive LED headlights. If the eyes are the mirror of the soul, what you see in the headlights of the new BMW Series is the very spirit of self-assurance through unprecedented design and innovative technology that illuminates the road in every situation. Their fl at, top-cut design gives the front a commanding, elegant appearance that is clearly focused on the road. The two distinctive rings within the headlights emphasise, day and night, the confi dent appearance of the new BMW Series, above all when equipped with the optional Adaptive LED headlights. One stand-out feature is how, for the daytime running lights and low-beams, illumination comes exclusively from the striking light rings.
The design of the front headlights is as impressive as the technology is fascinating. The latest LED system ensures a strikingly bright white light which illuminates the road with even greater precision. Discretely integrated into the optional Adaptive LED headlights for enhanced safety and comfort, the Adaptive cornering lights with turning lights optimally illuminate the carriageway and the road edge when cornering and turning. The anti-glare High-Beam Assistant, meanwhile, enhances safety as much for the driver as it does for oncoming traffi c.
Because the high-beam remains switched on without dazzling drivers of vehicles in front or in oncoming traffi c, visibility is signifi cantly improved. As for the light technology of BMW Night Vision, this can now be optionally supplemented with the new Dynamic Light Spot. This adds a bright spotlight to the thermal image of the infra-red camera for added focus on detected pedestrians. So fi rst impressions are confi rmed: the new BMW Series Saloon is replete with a vast range of technologies, perfectly refl ected in the charismatic appearance of the front headlights.

More performance with less emissions – the aim of BMW EfficientDynamics. To this end, the innovative technology package optimises the interplay between the driver and the environment. The best example of this is ECO PRO mode , which always finds the most efficient route to driving pleasure with a multitude of possibilities. Its integration into the Driving Experience button is proof enough. As impressive as the Comfort+, Comfort, Sport and Sport+ modes, ECO PRO not only gears the whole vehicle towards maximum efficiency, it also, with ECO PRO tips, supports an efficient driving style. Fuel savings can reach up to %depending on individual driving behaviour.
ECO PRO mode offers special advantages through the intelligent fusion of the latest technologies. Preview Assistant , for instance, uses navigation data and informs the driver in good time when to lift off the accelerator due to upcoming speed restrictions. There’s also the Coasting function, which enables you to glide along the road without power and, therefore, minimum fuel consumption. This is intelligence that pays dividends – with every kilometre.

The interior of the new BMW Series not only convinces with its highquality, luxurious character, but also with its functionality. One central reason for this is that all cockpit controls are geared towards the needs of the driver. One, not immediately obvious, feature is particularly impressive: the optional multifunction instrument display from BMW ConnectedDrive. Only the chrome rings indicate what to expect once
the start button is pressed. You soon see, however, a completely new set of display functions that clearly demonstrate the prowess of
the new BMW Series. All important information is presented in the multifunction instrument display according to

INTUITION.
Always one step ahead: the Control Display with the new-
generation navigation system Professional. Quickly grasping complex information, making the right gut decisions, trusting your instincts – qualities that defi ne a leader. It follows that the new BMW Series, particularly with its BMW ConnectedDrive features, is completely in tune with, and mirrors, these qualities. It’s no coincidence that, along with the Control Display, the iDrive Controller is sited at the centre of the interior. It is also the central point of the menu interface.
The Control Display is the highly refi ned setting for all BMW ConnectedDrive operations and the optional new-generation navigation system Professional. The new menu, however, is your closest companion, providing easy to operate, intuitive guidance to this interactive world.
The contents are as clearly presented as ever, although the display is new. Three-dimensional and featuring light spots against a dark background, it now offers even greater optical depth while visuals are clear and in high-quality.
