The ZyXEL NBG4104 Wireless N-lite Managed Router is an easy-management wireless home

connectivity solution for telcos, cable operators and service providers to deploy home

networks interoperating with FTTx or cable infrastructures to deliver Triple Play service.

Benefits

Easy home wireless connectivity deployments

The ZyXEL NBG4104 Wireless N-lite Managed Router interoperates with FTTx or cable modem via

the integrated four-port Fast Ethernet switch and a Wireless N WLAN access point to offer a

wireless home connectivity solution for FTTx or cable deployments. With the NBG4104 deployed,

telcos, cable operators and service providers can save the cost wiring the entire house to provide

home connectivity as well as Triple Play services simultaneously to home users.

Triple Play delivery

With enhanced VLAN features built into the ZyXEL NBG4104, telcos, cable operators and service

providers can freely deploy multimedia services with QoS policies based on their Triple Play

services. This increases network efficiency that enables them to offer real Triple Play services to

meet the needs of residential users. Moreover, the IGMP proxy/snooping function of the NBG4104

also allows telcos, cable operators and service providers to deliver home IPTV services.

Multiple SSIDs for various service deployments

Multiple SSIDs with VLAN function support on the ZyXEL NBG4104 allows telcos, cable operators

and service providers to assign different policies and functions to each SSID for specific

applications. This makes deploying one wireless network while fulfilling security needs for private

home sharing and public access easier than before.

Remote management through TR-069

Designed for configuring devices remotely without any end-user intervention, the TR-069 feature

of ZyXEL NBG4104 enables telcos, cable operators and service providers to have a “plug-and-play”

deployment experience with reduced deployment complexity, operational costs and maintenance

expenses.
