Manner of operation

Whilst standard hotplates become warm themselves, in an induction cooker the heat is created in the base of the cookware. The cooking area 1 itself is not heated - it heats up itself only when something in a pan is heated on it and then radiates heat back onto the cooking area 1. (Reverse heating).

For this, an energy ﬁ eld generates heat which can only be created in magnetically conductible materials, for example, pans made of ferric materials. In other materials, for example porcelain, glass or ceramic, the energy ﬁ eld cannot create any heating eﬀ ect.

Suitable cookware

Use only cookware that is suitable for induction cookers:

Pakkauksen hävittäminen

Toimintatapa

Siinä missä tavanomaiset keittolevyt kuumenevat itse, induktiokeittolevyllä lämpö syntyy keittoastian pohjassa. Itse keittotaso 1 ei kuumene - se kuumenee, kun sen päällä kuumennetaan jotakin kattilassa ja kattilassa oleva lämpö heijastuu takaisin keittotasolle 1. (paluulämpö).

Tästä huolehtii energiakenttä, joka luo lämpöä ainoastaan magneettisesti johtavissa materiaaleissa, esim. rautakattiloissa. Muissa materiaaleissa, kuten esim. posliinissa, lasissa tai keramiikassa ei energiakenttä kykene luomaan lämpövaikutusta.

Soveltuvat keittoastiat

Käytä ainoastaan induktiokeittotasoille soveltuvia keittoastioita:

Sopivia ovat kattilat ja pannut, joiden pohja on terästä tai valurautaa. Ne ■ tunnistat joko kattilassa olevasta merkistä tai siitä, että magneetti tarttuu

attilan pohjaan.

k Sopimattomia ovat kaikki metallit, joihin magneetti ei tartu, esim. alumiini, ■

kupari, ruostumaton teräs, sekä muut kuin metalliset astiat, esim. posliinista, lasista, k

eramiikasta, muovista jne.

Ohuet kattilanpohjat sopivat induktiokeittämiseen paremmin kuin paksut ■ kerrospohjat. Erittäin lyhyet reaktioajat asetusten muutoksiin (lyhyt esilämmit

ysaika, nopea, annosteltava paistaminen) ei ole mahdollista paksupohjaisilla

astioilla.

Käytä ainoastaan keittoastioita, jotka sopivat keittotason 1 kokoon. Läpimitta...

ei saa olla yli 26 cm, jotta astia ei ulotu tason reunojen yli, – eikä alle 16 cm, jotta energiakenttä ylipäänsä toimii. – Kattilan pohja ei saa olla epätasainen, vaan sen on oltava tasaisesti –
