You have selected a high-quality product. The operating instructions are part of
this product. They contain important information on safety, usage and disposal.
Before using the product, familiarise yourself with all operating and safety instructions.
Use the product only as described and for the specified areas of application. Please
also pass on these operating instructions to any future owner.

Intended use
This hairdryer is intended only for the drying and styling of human hair, under no
circumstances is it to be used for wigs and hairpieces made of synthetic material.
This hairdryer is intended for domestic use only. Pay heed to all of the information
in this operating manual, especially the safety instructions. This appliance is not
designed for use in commercial or industrial applications.
The appliance is not intended for any other purpose, nor for use beyond the
scope described. No claims of any kind will be accepted for damage arising
as a result of incorrect use. The risk shall be borne solely by the user.

Disposal of packaging materials
The packaging protects the appliance from damage during transport. The packaging materials have been selected for their environmental friendliness and ease
of disposal, and are therefore recyclable.
Returning the packaging into the material cycle conserves raw materials and
reduces the amount of waste generated. Dispose of packaging materials that
are no longer needed in accordance with applicable local regulations.
NOTE
► If possible, keep the original packaging during the warranty period so that
the device can be properly packed for returning in the event of a warranty
claim.

Safety instructions
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
► Connect the hairdryer only to a correctly installed mains power
socket providing electrical current at the level detailed on the
rating plate.
► Under no circumstances may the hairdryer be submerged in liquids,
or liquids be permitted to enter the appliance housing. Do not
expose the appliance to humidity and do not use it outdoors.
If liquid gets into the housing, disconnect the appliance from the
mains power socket immediately and have it repaired by a qualified technician.
► Unplug the hairdryer from the power socket if defective operation
is apparent and before cleaning it.
► To disconnect the appliance, pull only on the plug itself, not on
the power cable.
► Do not wrap the power cable around the appliance and protect
the cable from being damaged.
► To avoid potential risks, damaged mains cables should be
replaced by the manufacturer or the manufacturer’s customer
service department or a similarly qualified person.
► Do not kink or crush the power cable and route it in such a way
as to prevent people from stepping on or tripping over it.
► Do not use extension cables.
► Never touch the hairdryer, the power cable or the plug with wet
hands.
► Disconnect the hairdryer from the power source immediately after
use. The appliance is completely free of electrical power only
when you unplug it.
► You must not open or repair the housing of the hairdryer. Doing
so can lead to risks and also invalidates the warranty. Arrange
for the hairdryer to be serviced and repaired only by qualified
specialists.

RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
Never use the appliance near water, and keep it away from
sinks, baths and other similar containers. Water in the proximity of
the appliance is hazardous, even if the appliance is switched
off. Always disconnect the plug from the mains power socket
after use. As additional protection, the installation of a residual
current circuit-breaker with an activation power rating of not
more than 30 mA is recommended for the power circuit in the
bathroom. Ask your electrician for advice.
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
► This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years or more and
by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
or lack of experience and/or knowledge if they are supervised,
or have been instructed in the safe use of the appliance and have
understood the potential risks.
► Children must not use the appliance as a plaything.
► Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed by
children unless they are under supervision.
► NEVER put the hairdryer down or leave it unsupervised when it is
switched on.
► Never place the hairdryer close to sources of heat and protect
the power cable against potential damage.
► Do not use the hairdryer if it has been dropped or is damaged in
any way. Have the appliance checked and/or repaired by qualified technicians if necessary.
► Do not cover the air intake grille while operating the appliance.
Clean it at regular intervals.
► The hairdryer becomes hot when it is in use. Hold it only by the
grip when it is hot.

Preparation
1) Remove all parts of the appliance and the operating instructions from the carton.
2) Remove all packaging material.
Operation
This appliance is fitted with a contact sensor. This means that the hairdryer only
switches on if you are holding it in your hand and touching the sensor field
at the same time.
Heating and blower levels
1) Insert the plug into the mains power socket.
The hairdryer is fitted with two function switches. You can use these to separately
select the strength of the air flow (blower level switch ) and the heat level (heat
level switch ):

high heat level
2) Select the desired blower level using the blower level switch . The control
lamp illuminates and shows that the hairdryer will start as soon as the
sensor field is contacted.
3) Select the desired heating level using the heating level switch .
4) If you are not holding the hairdryer in the hand:
take hold of the hairdryer with your hand on its handle. This means that you
will be touching the sensor field and the hairdryer will switch on.
If you put the hairdryer down for a short time, it will switch off automatically.

NOTE
► The sensor-controlled cut-off is not suitable for switching off the hairdryer
permanently. If you are not using the hairdryer switch it off using the blower
level switch .
5) Once you have finished using it, switch the appliance off by switching the
blower level switch to "0". The indicator lamp goes out. Then remove
the plug from the wall socket.
Cold air level
With the cold air button G you can produce a cooler air flow with any
combination of blower and heat levels.
Ionisation function
This hairdryer is fitted with an ionisation function.
If hair is dried using a normal hairdryer, the hair becomes charged statically and
starts to "fly".
The ionisation function ensures that this charging of the hair is neutralised and
cancelled. The hair becomes soft, supple, shiny and easier to style.
Please note, however, that the ionisation function will only work optimally if the
attachments (finger diffuser /styling jet ) are removed as the attachment will
interfere with the application of the ions to the hair. Therefore, use the hairdryer
without attachments for maximum ionisation effect.

Drying and styling hair
■ To quickly dry hair, we recommend first of all using a high blower and heater
setting for a short period. After drying the hair, switch to a lower blower and
heat level to shape the hairstyle.
■ With the supplied styling jet you can apply a directed airflow to shape
and style your hair. Fit the styling jet by pushing it with light pressure onto
the hairdryer so that it snaps into place and sits evenly on the hairdryer.
If you no longer require the styling jet , wait until the appliance has cooled
down and pull it off with a downwards snapping motion:
■ If you wish to dry your hair especially gently, or create a so-called "air-dried
wave", then use the finger diffuser . Start by removing the styling jet with
a downwards snapping motion.
Fit the finger diffuser by pushing it with light pressure onto the hairdryer
so that it snaps into place and sits evenly on the hairdryer.
If you no longer require the finger diffuser , wait until the appliance has
cooled down and pull it off with a downwards snapping motion:
■ Before you comb your hair out, allow it to cool so that the shaping and styling
can retain its form.
■ You can use the cold air button

to cool your hair down.

Cleaning
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
► Always remove the plug from the mains power socket before cleaning the
appliance.
► UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you immerse the appliance in
water or other liquids during cleaning!
► After being cleaned, the hairdryer must be completely dry before using it
again.
WARNING – RISK OF INJURY!
► Allow the appliance to cool sufficiently before cleaning it.
CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► Do not use any aggressive cleaning liquids or solvents. They could damage
the surface.
Cleaning the housing
■ Use a soft cloth lightly moistened with a mild soap solution to clean the housing
and attachments.
■ Dry all parts thoroughly before re-using the appliance.
Cleaning the air intake grille
WARNING – RISK OF FIRE!
► Clean the air intake grille at regular intervals with a soft brush.
1) Turn the air intake grille anticlockwise a little way so that it can be
removed from the hairdryer.
2) Clean the grille on the appliance and the grille on the air intake using a
soft brush.
3) Push the air intake grille back onto the hairdryer so that the tabs on the
air intake grille click back onto the recesses on the hairdryer housing.
Turn the air intake grille clockwise a little way so that it clicks into place
and sits tightly.

Storage
CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► Do not package or transport the hairdryer until it has cooled down.
Otherwise, it could damage other items.
■ Clean the hairdryer as described in Chapter "Cleaning".
■ Store the hairdryer in a dust-free and dry location.
Troubleshooting
If your hairdryer does not function as expected, first remove the plug from the
mains power socket and allow the appliance to cool down for a few minutes.
The appliance is fitted with an overheating protector!
If the appliance still does not function, consult the service location detailed under
"Service".
Disposal of the appliance
Do not dispose of the appliance in your normal domestic waste.
This product is subject to the provisions of European Directive
2012/19/EU.
Dispose of the appliance via an approved waste disposal company or your
municipal waste disposal facility. Please comply with all applicable regulations.
Please contact your waste disposal facility if you are in any doubt.
Warranty
This appliance is provided with a 3-year warranty valid from the date of purchase.
The appliance has been manufactured with care and inspected meticulously
prior to delivery.
Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the event of a warranty claim,
please contact your Customer Service unit by telephone. This is the only way to
guarantee free return of your goods.
NOTE
► The warranty is valid only for material or manufacturing faults, not for trans-
port damage, parts subject to wear or damage to fragile parts,
e.g. switches.

This appliance is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes.
The warranty shall be deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling, use
of force and modifications/repairs which have not been carried out by one of
our authorised Service centres.
Your statutory rights are not restricted by this warranty.
The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs effected under the warranty.
This also applies to replaced and repaired components.
Any damage and defects present at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking, but no later than two days after the date of purchase.
Repairs carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall be subject to charge.

Utylizacja opakowania
Opakowanie chroni urządzenie przed uszkodzeniami podczas transportu.
Materiały opakowaniowe są przyjazne dla środowiska i można poddać je
procesowi recyklingu.
Zwracanie opakowania do obiegu materiałów oszczędza surowce naturalne
i zmniejsza zanieczyszczenie odpadami. Zbędne materiały opakowaniowe
należy utylizować zgodnie z lokalnymi przepisami.

Wskazówki bezpieczeństwa
NIEBEZPIECZEŃSTWO PORAŻENIA
PRĄDEM ELEKTRYCZNYM
► Suszarkę podłączaj zawsze do prawidłowo zainstalowanego
gniazda zasilania o napięciu zgodnym z wartością podaną na
tabliczce znamionowej.
► Suszarki nie wolno zanurzać w cieczy. Ponadto należy uważać,
aby żadna ciecz dostała się do wnętrza obudowy suszarki. Nie
wolno wystawiać urządzenia na działanie wilgoci ani używać
go na otwartej przestrzeni. Jeśli już ciecz dostanie się do wnętrza obudowy urządzenia, należy natychmiast wyciągnąć wtyk
z gniazda sieciowego i oddać urządzenie do naprawy przez
wykwalifikowanego specjalistę.
► W razie jakichkolwiek problemów eksploatacyjnych oraz przed
czyszczeniem suszarki do włosów należy wyciągnąć wtyk z
gniazda sieciowego.
► Wyjmując wtyk z gniazda zasilania nie należy ciągnąć za sam
kabel.
► Nie nawijać kabla sieciowego na suszarce do włosów. Urządze-
nie należy chronić przed uszkodzeniami.
► W przypadku uszkodzenia kabla zasilającego należy zlecić
jego wymianę producentowi, w punkcie serwisowym lub osobie
posiadającej odpowiednie kwalifikacje. Dzięki temu unikniemy
poważnych zagrożeń.
► Nie zginać ani nie zakleszczać kabla sieciowego, a także rozkła-
dać go w taki sposób, aby nikt przypadkowo na nim nie stanął
ani się o niego nie potknął.
► Nie używać przedłużaczy.
► Suszarkę, kabel sieciowy i wtyk należy chwytać wyłącznie suchy-
mi rękoma.
► Bezpośrednio po użyciu suszarkę należy odłączyć od źródła prądu.
Jedynie po wyciągnięciu wtyku z gniazda sieciowego, uzyskujemy
pewność, że urządzenie nie znajduje się pod napięciem.
► Nie wolno otwierać obudowy suszarki do włosów ani samodziel-
nie naprawiać urządzenia. Stanowi to poważne zagrożenie i powoduje wygaśnięcie gwarancji. Uszkodzoną suszarkę do włosów
należy naprawiać w specjalistycznych firmach .

NIEBEZPIECZEŃSTWO PORAŻENIA
PRĄDEM ELEKTRYCZNYM
Nigdy nie używać urządzenia w pobliżu wody, szczególnie
w pobliżu umywalki, wanny lub innych zbiorników na wodę.
Bliskość wody stanowi poważne zagrożenie nawet przy wyłączonym urządzeniu. Z tego względu po każdym użyciu należy
wyjmować wtyk z gniazda. Jako dodatkową ochronę przed
porażeniem prądem elektrycznym zaleca się zainstalowanie
w obwodzie elektrycznym łazienki wyłącznika różnicowo-prądowego o znamionowym prądzie wyłączającym nie większym
niż 30 mA. W tej sprawie należy skonsultować się z elektrykiem.
OSTRZEŻENIE! NIEBEZPIECZEŃSTWO OBRAŻEŃ!
► To urządzenie może być używane przez dzieci od 8 roku życia
oraz przez osoby o zmniejszonych zdolnościach fizycznych, sensorycznych lub umysłowych lub też osoby nieposiadające odpowiedniego doświadczenia i/lub wiedzy, wyłącznie pod nadzorem lub
po przeszkoleniu w zakresie bezpiecznego używania urządzenia
oraz wynikających z niego zagrożeń.
► Dzieciom nie wolno bawić się urządzeniem.
► Czyszczenie i konserwacja przez użytkownika nie mogą być wy-
konywane przez dzieci, chyba że pod odpowiednim nadzorem.
► Włączonej suszarki do włosów nie należy odkładać na bok ani
zostawiać jej bez nadzoru.
► Nigdy nie odkładać suszarki do włosów w pobliżu źródeł ciepła
oraz chronić kabel sieciowy przed uszkodzeniami.
► Suszarki do włosów nie wolno włączać, gdy upadła ona na ziemię
lub jest uszkodzona. Zleć sprawdzenie i ewentualną naprawę urządzenia wykwalifikowanemu specjaliście.
► W czasie używania suszarki nie zasłaniać kratki wlotu powietrza.
Czyścić urządzenie w regularnych odstępach czasu.
► W czasie pracy suszarka do włosów nagrzewa się. Rozgrzaną
suszarkę można trzymać wyłącznie za uchwyt.

Czynności przygotowawcze
1) Wyjmij wszystkie elementy urządzenia oraz instrukcję obsługi z opakowania.
2) Usuń wszystkie części opakowania.
Obsługa
Urządzenie jest wyposażone w czujnik dotykowy. Oznacza to, że suszarka
włącza tylko wtedy, gdy trzymasz je w dłoni, dotykając pola czujnika .
Zakresy grzania i nawiewu
1) Włóż wtyk sieciowy do gniazda sieciowego.
Suszarka do włosów posiada dwa przełączniki funkcyjne. Są to: przełącznik regulacji siły nadmuchu i regulacji siły ogrzewania ; które działają oddzielnie.

2) Wybierz żądany zakres nadmuchu przełącznikiem regulacji siły nadmuchu .
Zaświeci się kontrolka wskazując, że suszarka się uruchamia, gdy tylko
dotknięte zostanie pole czujnika .
3) Wybierz żądany zakres grzania przełącznikiem regulacji siły ogrzewania .
4) Jeśli jeszcze nie trzymasz suszarki w ręku:
Chwyć suszarkę w dłoń. Dotkniesz wtedy pola czujnika i suszarka do
włosów włączy się.
Po odłożeniu suszarki, wyłączy się ona automatycznie.

WSKAZÓWKA
► Sterowane czujnikiem wyłączenie nie jest przewidziane do trwałego odłą-
czania suszarki. Jeśli nie używasz suszarki do włosów, wyłącz jej zasilanie
przełącznikiem regulacji siły nadmuchu .
5) Po użyciu wyłącz suszarkę, ustawiając przełącznik regulacji siły nadmuchu
w położeniu „0”. Kontrolka zgaśnie. Następnie wyciągnij wtyk z gniazda
zasilania.
Zakres chłodzenia
Przełącznikiem zimnego nadmuchu G można uzyskać strumień chłodnego

Funkcja jonizacji
Niniejsza suszarka do włosów jest wyposażona funkcję jonizacji.
Włosy wysuszone „zwykłą“ suszarką zostają naładowane elektrostatycznie i
zaczynają się „unosić“.
Funkcja jonizacyjna naturalizuje i przeciwdziała naładowaniu elektrostatycznemu
włosów. Włosy stają się miękkie, elastyczne, mają ładny połysk i dają się łatwo
układać.
Należy jednak pamiętać, że funkcja jonizacji działa optymalnie tylko bez końcówek (dyfuzor palcowy / koncentrator ), ponieważ końcówki zakłócają nanoszenie jonów na włosy. Jeśli chce się optymalnie wykorzystać funkcję jonizacji,
należy stosować suszarkę do włosów bez założonych końcówek.

Suszenie i modelowanie włosów
■ W celu szybkiego wysuszenia włosów zalecamy rozpocząć suszenie od
włączenia suszarki przez chwilę na dużą siłę nadmuchu i grzania. W
celu ułożenia fryzury, po przesuszeniu włosów zmniejsz zakres nawiewu i
ogrzewania.
■ Znajdującym się w zestawie koncentratorem można ustawiać strumień
powietrza w wybranym kierunku w celu ułożeni włosów. Załóż koncentrator
z przodu, wywierając lekki nacisk na suszarkę, aby się zablokował i był
jednocześnie osadzony mocno na suszarce.
Jeśli już nie potrzebujesz koncentratora , poczekaj aż urządzenie ostygnie
i zdejmij go ruchem zginającym do dołu:
■ Jeśli chcesz suszyć włosy bardzo delikatnie, albo w przypadku tak zwanej
„suszonej powietrzem trwałej” użyj dyfuzora palcowego . W tym celu
wyciągnij najpierw koncentrator ruchem zginającym do dołu.
Załóż dyfuzor palcowy z przodu, wywierając lekki nacisk na suszarkę,
aby się zablokował i był jednocześnie osadzony mocno na suszarce.
Jeśli nie potrzebujesz już dyfuzora palcowego poczekaj, aż urządzenie
ostygnie i wyciągnij go ruchem zginającym do dołu:
■ Przed rozczesaniem włosów należy odczekać chwilę do ich ostygnięcia.
Dzięki temu fryzura nie popsuje się.
■ W celu schłodzenia włosów można użyć przycisku nadmuchu zimnego
powietrza
