operating instructions are part of this product. They contain important information
on safety, usage and disposal. Before using the product, familiarise yourself with all
handling and safety guidelines. This appliance may only be used as described
and for the purposes indicated. Please also pass these operating instructions on
to any future owner(s).

1) Take the appliance and the operating instructions out of the packaging.
2) Remove all packaging material.
NOTE
► Check the package for completeness and for signs of visible damage.
► If the delivery is not complete or has been damaged due to defective
packaging or transportation, contact the Service Hotline (see section
Warranty and Service).
Disposal of packaging materials
The packaging protects the appliance from damage during shipment.
The packaging materials have been selected for their environmental friendliness
and ease of disposal, and are therefore recyclable.
Returning the packaging to the materials cycle conserves raw materials and
reduces the amount of waste that is generated. Dispose of packaging materials
which are no longer needed in accordance with applicable local regulations.
NOTE
► If possible, keep the original packaging of the appliance during the warranty
period so that the appliance can be packed properly for returning in the
event of a warranty claim.

Safety guidelines
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
► Arrange for damaged power cables and/or plugs to be
replaced as soon as possible by a qualified specialist or by
Customer Services.
► Use the appliance only in dry indoor areas, not outdoors.
NEVER submerse the appliance in water or other liquids!
Otherwise there is a risk of an electric shock.
► NEVER insert cutlery or other metallic objects into the toaster
slots.
► Ensure that the appliance can never come into contact with
water. NEVER use the appliance adjacent to water or close
to vessels containing liquids.
► Ensure that the power cable never becomes wet or damp
when the appliance is in use. Route the cable so that it cannot
be trapped or damaged in any way.
► After use, always remove the plug from the mains power
socket, this prevents the unintentional switching on of the
appliance.
► Avoid using slices that are too big or too thick as these can
easily become jammed in the appliance. If slices of bread
become jammed, first disconnect the plug from the mains
power socket. Release jammed slices of bread with a blunt
wooden object (e.g. a wooden spatula or spoon). Do NOT
touch the heater elements.

WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
► This appliance may be used by children of the age of 8 years
or more and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge
if they are being supervised or have been instructed with
regard to the safe use of the appliance and have understood
the potential risks.
► Children must not use the appliance as a plaything.
► Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by
children unless they are older than 8 years of age and are
supervised. Children younger than 8 years of age must be
kept away from the appliance and the power cable.
► The appliance can become hot when it is in use. Therefore,
only touch the operating elements.
► Use the appliance only on a
stable, non-slippery and level surface.
► Do not use an external timer switch or a separate remote
control system to operate the appliance.
► Unwind the power cable completely from the cable retainer
before using the appliance.
► When toasting very small bread slices, take extreme care
when removing them from the toaster! Risk of burns!
WARNING!
► Risk of burning if you do not use standard toast bread!
Because of the smaller size or shape, there is a risk of touching
hot parts when removing the toasted bread.

CAUTION – RISK OF FIRE!
► Bakery products can burn! You should therefore NEVER locate
the appliance close to or underneath inflammable objects,
especially not under curtains or suspended cupboards.
► This appliance may not be used in close vicinity to flammable
material.
► NEVER cover the toaster when it is in use.
► The appliance must always be supervised during use.
► To avoid the risk of fire, empty the crumb tray at regular
intervals.
Tips for use
■ Differences in bread sorts, moisture content and the thickness of individual
slices have an effect on the browning of the toast. Therefore the bread for
toasting should be kept in sealed packaging until required. Always start by
trying out a lower browning level.
■ Use a lower browning level if you are toasting dry bread since dry bread
browns faster than fresh bread.
■ Set a lower browning level if you are toasting less than 4 bread slices.
■ Select a higher browning level for dark bread than for light bread, for example,
white bread.
■ To prevent the toaster from overheating and to obtain an even browning of
bread, wait for about 15 seconds between two toasting processes.
■ You should only use the highest level on the toasting dial for large slices
of dark bread. With this browning level light bread will scorch and become
inedible. In addition, it may cause the generation of smoke. If this occurs,
press the "Cancel" button

Before first use
■ Operate the toaster without bread 3 times at the maximum browning level (7).
■ Afterwards, clean the toaster as described in the chapter "Cleaning".
NOTE
► The toasting lever only engages when the cable is connected to a
mains power socket.
► With the first usage a slight smell can arise (minimal smoke development
is also possible). This is normal and dissipates after a short time. Ensure
sufficient ventilation. For example, open a window.
Operation
Adjusting the browning level
The desired browning level can be adjusted infinitely from "light" (1) to "dark" (7)
using the toasting dial .
NOTE
► Note that, subject to the thickness of the bread in the toaster, the level of
browning can vary somewhat even if the toasting dial has not been
adjusted! The fewer the number of slices inserted, the higher the browning
level. Thus, if you are not intending to toast many slices, always set the
toasting dial a little lower.
Toasting
CAUTION – RISK OF FIRE!
► When the appliance is in operation, do NOT cover the toasting slots .
There will be a risk of fire! The appliance could be irreparably damaged!
1) After setting the desired browning level, insert the bread into the toasting slots .
2) Press the toasting lever downwards. The automatic bread centring device
centres the inserted bread in the toasting slots .
3) When the desired level of browning has been reached, the toaster automatically switches itself off and the slices are ejected upwards.
Stopping the toasting process
If you wish to stop toasting, press the "Cancel" button . The toaster switches
itself off and the bread slices are ejected upwards.

Reheat function
The reheat function enables you to warm bread without browning it. As an
example, for toast that has gone cold. The bread is only briefly warmed.
1) Insert the bread and press the toasting lever down.
2) Press the "Reheat" button

3) Once the bread has warmed up again, the toaster switches itself off automatically, the indicator lamp on the "Reheat" button

Defrost function
By pressing the "Defrost" button frozen bread can also be thawed and
toasted. In this mode, the toaster slowly warms the bread.
1) After setting the desired browning level, insert the bread into the toaster
slots .
2) Press the toasting lever downwards.

4) When the defrosting and toasting process is finished, the toaster switches
itself off automatically, the indicator lamp in the "Defrost" button
goes out and the bread slices are ejected upwards.

Warming up crusty bread rolls
NEVER place bread rolls directly on the toaster, ALWAYS use the warming rack .
1) Press the lever for the warming rack down until it is completely extended.
2) Place the bread rolls onto the rack and start the toasting procedure. Set the
toasting dial to a maximum of level 3. The browning can, however, vary,
depending on the composition and type of bread roll.

NOTE
► Place the rolls onto the warming rack in such a manner that they cannot
fall through the rack .
► After toasting, the rolls will be very hot.
3) As soon as the toaster switches itself off, turn the rolls over to toast the other
side and then switch the toaster back on.

4) If you no longer need the warming rack return the rack to in its starting
position by pushing the lever for the warming rack back upwards.
Crumb tray
When toasting, crumbs that fall from the bread are collected in the crumb tray .
1) To empty crumbs from the crumb tray , simply pull it out to the side.
2) Tip out the crumbs.
3) Slide the crumb tray back into the toaster.
Cleaning

► Disconnect the plug from the mains power socket before cleaning the
appliance.

► Allow the toaster to cool before cleaning it. Risk of burns!
CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents. These can damage the
surfaces of the appliance.
NEVER submerse the appliance in water or other liquids!
Otherwise there is a risk of an electric shock.
■ Clean the appliance housing using only a dry or lightly moistened cloth.
■ To avoid the risk of fire, empty the crumb tray at regular intervals.

Storage
■ Store the toaster in a dry location.
■ Clean the toaster as described in the chapter "Cleaning".
■ Wrap the power cable around the cable retainer on the underside of
the toaster.

Dear Customer,
This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from the date of purchase. If this product
has any faults, you, the buyer, have certain statutory rights. Your statutory rights
are not restricted in any way by the warranty described below.
Warranty conditions
The validity period of the warranty starts from the date of purchase. Please keep
your original receipt in a safe place. This document will be required as proof of
purchase.
If any material or production fault occurs within three years of the date of purchase
of the product, we will either repair or replace the product for you at our discretion.
This warranty service is dependent on you presenting the defective appliance
and the proof of purchase (receipt) and a short written description of the fault
and its time of occurrence.
If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product will either be repaired or
replaced by us. The repair or replacement of a product does not signify the beginning of a new warranty period.
Warranty period and statutory claims for defects
The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs effected under the warranty.
This also applies to replaced and repaired components. Any damage and defects
present at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking.
Repairs carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall be subject to a fee.
Scope of the warranty
This appliance has been manufactured in accordance with strict quality guidelines
and inspected meticulously prior to delivery.
The warranty covers material faults or production faults. The warranty does not
extend to product parts subject to normal wear and tear or fragile parts such as
switches, batteries, baking moulds or parts made of glass.
The warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged, improperly used
or improperly maintained. The directions in the operating instructions for the product
regarding proper use of the product are to be strictly followed. Uses and actions
that are discouraged in the operating instructions or which are warned against
must be avoided.
This product is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes.
The warranty shall be deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling, use
of force and modifications / repairs which have not been carried out by one of
our authorised Service centres.

■ Please have the till receipt and the item number (e.g. IAN 12345) available
as proof of purchase.
■ You will find the item number on the type plate, an engraving on the front
page of the instructions (bottom left), or as a sticker on the rear or bottom of
the appliance.
■ If functional or other defects occur, please contact the service department
listed either by telephone or by e-mail.
■ You can return a defective product to us free of charge to the service address
that will be provided to you. Ensure that you enclose the proof of purchase

Odlaganje embalaže med odpadke
Embalaža napravo varuje pred poškodbami med prevozom. Embalažni materiali
so izbrani v skladu s svojo ekološko primernostjo in tehničnimi vidiki odstranjevanja,
zato jih je mogoče reciklirati.
Vrnitev embalaže v kroženje materiala prihrani surovine in zmanjša količino
odpadkov. Nepotrebne embalažne materiale odstranite med odpadke v skladu
z veljavnimi lokalnimi predpisi.

► Poškodovane električne kable ali električne vtiče naj vam
takoj zamenja pooblaščeno strokovno osebje, da se izognete
nevarnosti.
► Napravo uporabljajte samo v suhih prostorih in ne na pro-
stem.
Naprave nikoli ne potopite v vodo ali druge tekočine!
Sicer obstaja smrtna nevarnost zaradi električnega udara.
► V odprtine za peko nikoli ne vtikajte kosov pribora ali drugih
kovinskih predmetov.
► Zagotovite, da naprava nikakor ne more priti v stik z vodo.
Naprave nikoli ne uporabljajte v bližini vode ali poleg posode, ki vsebuje tekočino.
► Pazite, da se električni kabel med delovanjem nikoli ne navlaži
ali omoči. Kabel speljite tako, da se nikjer ne zatika in da se
ga ne da poškodovati na kak drugačen način.
► Po uporabi omrežni vtič zmeraj potegnite iz vtičnice, da
preprečite nehoteni vklop.
► Ne uporabljajte prevelikih ali predebelih rezin kruha, ker se
te hitro lahko zataknejo. Če bi se rezine kruha zataknile, najprej

kruha odstranite s pomočjo tope lesene palice (npr. z ročajem
čopiča). Pri tem se ne dotikajte grelnih elementov.

OPOZORILO! NEVARNOST TELESNIH POŠKODB!
► Otroci od 8. leta starosti naprej in osebe z zmanjšanimi fizič-
nimi, zaznavnimi ali duševnimi sposobnostmi ali s pomanjkljivimi izkušnjami in znanjem to napravo lahko uporabljajo le,
če jih pri tem nekdo nadzoruje ali jih je poučil o varni uporabi
naprave in so razumeli nevarnosti, ki izhajajo iz uporabe
naprave.
► Otroci se z napravo ne smejo igrati.
► Otroci ne smejo naprave čistiti ali je vzdrževati kot uporabniki,
razen če so starejši od 8 let in dela izvajajo pod nadzorom.
Otrokom, ki so mlajši od 8 let, približevanje napravi in priključni
napeljavi ni dovoljeno.
► Deli naprave se med obratovanjem lahko segrejejo. Zaradi
tega prijemajte samo za ročaje.
► Napravo uporabljajte samo na stabilni, nedrseči in ravni
površini.
► Naprave ne uporabljajte z zunanjo stikalno uro ali ločenim
daljinskim sistemom.
► Omrežni kabel v celoti odvijte z navitja kabla, preden napravo
začnete uporabljati.
► Pri peki zelo majhnih rezin kruha je pri odstranjevanju iz
opekača prisotna: Nevarnost opeklin!

► Pozor – nevarnost opeklin, če ne uporabljate standardnega
opečenca.
Zaradi manjše velikosti ali oblike obstaja nevarnost, da se
pri jemanju opečenega kruha iz naprave dotaknete njenih
vročih delov.

POZOR ‒ NEVARNOST POŽARA!
► Živilo se lahko med peko vname! Naprave zato nikoli ne
postavljajte v bližino ali pod gorljive predmete, še posebej
ne pod zavese ali obešene omare.
► Naprave ne smete uporabljati v bližini gorečih predmetov.
► Opekača med uporabo nikoli ne pokrivajte.
► Naprave nikoli ne pustite delovati nenadzorovane.
► Redno čistite predal za drobtine, da se izognete nevarnosti
požara.
Nasveti za uporabo
■ Različne vrste kruha ter razlika v vlažnosti in debelini posameznih rezin vplivajo
na zapečenost kruha za opekanje. Kruh po možnosti vedno hranite v zaprti
embalaži. Vedno najprej poskusite peči na nižji nastavitvi zapečenosti.
■ Nižjo nastavitev zapečenosti uporabljajte, kadar opekate suh kruh, ker se
suh kruh zapeče hitreje kot sveži kruh.
■ Nastavite nizko zapečenost, če želite opeči manj kot 4 rezine kruha.
■ Za temnejši kruh izberite višjo nastavitev zapečenosti kot za bolj svetel, na
primer bel, kruh.
■ Da preprečite pregrevanje opekača in dosežete enakomerno zapečenost
kruha, med dvema postopkoma opekanja počakajte približno 15 sekund.
■ Najvišjo stopnjo nastavitve zapečenosti uporabljajte le za velike rezine
temnega kruha. Svetel kruh se na tej nastavitvi zapečenosti zažge in postane
neužiten. Razen tega lahko pride do nastanka dima. V tem primeru takoj
pritisnite tipko »Stop«
in vtič potegnite iz električne vtičnice.

Pred prvo uporabo
■ Opekač trikrat uporabite brez kruha pri največji možni nastavitvi zapečenosti (7).
■ Opekač potem očistite, kot je opisano v poglavju »Čiščenje«.
OPOMBA
► Tipka za upravljanje se zaskoči samo pri priključenem električnem
kablu.
► Pri prvi uporabi lahko nastane rahel smrad (možen je tudi rahel nastanek
dima). Ta je normalen in se čez nekaj časa porazgubi. Poskrbite za zadostno prezračenje. Na primer tako, da odprete okno.

Nastavitev zapečenosti
Želeno zapečenost od »svetlo« (1) do »temno« (7) lahko brezstopenjsko nastavite
z nastavitvijo zapečenosti .
OPOMBA
► Ne pozabite, da se lahko zapečenost pri enaki nastavitvi zapečenosti
razlikuje, odvisno od vstavljenega kruha! Manj vstavljenih rezin kruha pomeni večjo zapečenost. Nastavitev zapečenosti zato pri manjši napolnjenosti
opekača nastavite malo nižje.
Opekanje
POZOR ‒ NEVARNOST POŽARA!
► Med delovanjem opekača ne prekrijte odprtin za peko . Obstaja nevar-
nost požara! Naprava se lahko nepopravljivo poškoduje!
1) Po nastavitvi želene zapečenosti kruh vstavite v odprtino za peko .
2) Upravljalno tipko pritisnite navzdol. Samodejno centriranje kruha postavi
vstavljeno rezino kruha na sredino odprtine za peko .
3) Ko je želena zapečenost dosežena, se opekač samodejno izklopi in rezine
kruha se dvignejo.
Prekinitev opekanja
Če želite prekiniti postopek opekanja, pritisnite tipko »Stop« . Opekač se
izklopi in rezine kruha se pomaknejo ven.

Funkcija segrevanja
Funkcija segrevanja omogoča, da kruh segrejete, ne da bi ga zapekli. Na
primer, če se je opečen kruh ohladil. Kruh se segreva le kratek čas.
1) Kruh vstavite in pritisnite upravljalno tipko navzdol.
2) Pritisnite tipko »Segrevanje«
v tipki »Segrevanje« .
3) Ko se kruh segreje, se naprava samodejno izklopi, lučka v tipki »Segrevanje«
ugasne in rezine kruha se dvignejo.

Funkcija odtajanja
S pritiskom na tipko »Odtajanje« lahko odtajate in opečete tudi zamrznjen kruh. Opekač tukaj najprej počasi segreje kruh.
1) Po nastavitvi želene zapečenosti kruh vstavite v odprtino za peko .
2) Upravljalno tipko pritisnite navzdol.
3) Pritisnite tipko »Odtajanje«
4) Ko je postopek odtajanja in peke končan, se opekač samodejno izklopi, kontrolna lučka v tipki »Odtajanje«
. Sveti lučka v tipki »Odtajanje« .
Hrustljavo segrevanje žemelj
Žemelj nikoli ne položite direktno na opekač, temveč zmeraj uporabljajte nastavek za žemlje .
1) Tipko »Nastavek za žemlje« pritisnite navzdol, dokler se v celoti ne
odpre.
2) Na nastavek položite žemlje in zaženite postopek opekanja. Nastavitev
zapečenosti nastavite največ na stopnjo 3. Zapečenost se lahko razlikuje,
odvisno od sestave in vrste žemlje.

► Žemlje položite na nastavek za žemlje , tako da ne morejo pasti skozi
nastavek za žemlje .
► Žemlje so po peki zelo vroče.

strani, in opekač ponovno vklopite.

4) Ko nastavka za žemlje ne potrebujete več, nastavek za žemlje vrnite
v izhodiščni položaj, tako da tipko »Nastavek za žemlje« znova potisnete
navzgor.
Predal za drobtine
Med peko odpadle drobtine se zbirajo v predalu za drobtine .
1) Drobtine odstranite tako, da predal za drobtine izvlečete vstran.
2) Odstranite drobtine.
3) Predal za drobtine potisnite nazaj v opekač.
Čiščenje
NEVARNOST ELEKTRIČNEGA UDARA
► Pred začetkom čiščenja naprave najprej izvlecite omrežni vtič iz omrežne
vtičnice.
Naprave nikoli ne potopite v vodo ali druge tekočine! Sicer obstaja
smrtna nevarnost zaradi električnega udara.

► Pred čiščenjem opekač pustite, da se ohladi. Nevarnost opeklin!

■ Ohišje očistite s suho ali malo navlaženo krpo.

1. S tem garancijskim listom Kompernass Handels GmbH jamčimo, da bo izdelek v garancijskem roku ob normalni in pravilni uporabi brezhibno deloval in se zavezujemo, da
bomo ob izpolnjenih spodaj navedenih pogojih odpravili morebitne pomanjkljivosti in
okvare zaradi napak v materialu ali izdelavi oziroma po svoji presoji izdelek zamenjali

2. Garancija je veljavna na ozemlju Republike Slovenije.
3. Garancijski rok za proizvod je 3 leta od datuma izročitve blaga. Datum izročitve blaga

4. Kupec je dolžan okvaro javiti pooblaščenemu servisu oziroma se informirati o nadaljnjih
postopkih na zgoraj navedeni telefonski številki. Svetujemo vam, da pred tem natančno

UPOZORNENIE

VAROVANIE! NEBEZPEČENSTVO PORANENIA!
► Tento prístroj môžu používať deti staršie ako 8 rokov, ako aj
osoby so zníženými fyzickými, senzorickými alebo mentálnymi
schopnosťami, prípadne snedostatočnými skúsenosťami a/
alebo znalosťami, ak sú pod dohľadom alebo boli dostatočne
poučené obezpečnom používaní prístroja apochopili ztoho
vyplývajúce riziká.
► Deti sa nesmú hrať s prístrojom.
► Čistenie aužívateľskú údržbu nesmú vykonávať deti, okrem
prípadov, ak sú staršie ako 8 rokov asú pod dozorom. Deti
mladšie ako 8 rokov nesmú mať prístup kprístroju, ani kprívodnému káblu.
► Diely prístroja môžu byť počas prevádzky horúce. Preto sa dotý-

► Hrozí nebezpečenstvo popálenia, keď nepoužijete štandardný
toastový chlieb.
Z dôvodu menšej veľkosti alebo formy hrozí nebezpečenstvo,
že sa pri vyberaní hrianky dotknete horúcich častí.

POZOR – NEBEZPEČENSTVO POŽIARU!
► Opekané potraviny sa môžu vznietiť! Preto nikdy neklaďte
prístroj na miesta, ktoré sú vblízkosti horľavých predmetov
alebo pod nimi, predovšetkým nie pod záclony alebo závesné
skrinky.
► Prístroj sa nesmie používať vblízkosti horľavých materiálov.
► Nikdy nezakrývajte hriankovač, keď sa používa.
► Nikdy nenechávajte prístroj zapnutý bez dozoru.
► Aby ste sa vyhli nebezpečenstvu požiaru, vpravidelných
intervaloch vyprázdňujte zásuvku na omrvinky.
Tipy na používanie
■ Rozdiely vdruhu chleba, vlhkosti ahrúbke jednotlivých plátkov majú vplyv
na hnednutie. Preto treba chlieb na hrianky uskladňovať podľa možnosti
vuzavretom balení. Vždy najprv vyskúšajte nižší stupeň zhnednutia.
■ Nižší stupeň zhnednutia použite, keď opekáte suchý chlieb, lebo suchý
chlieb hnedne rýchlejšie než čerstvý.
■ Nižší stupeň zhnednutia nastavte vtedy, keď opekáte menej než 4 plátky
chleba.
■ Pre tmavý chlieb zvoľte vyšší stupeň zhnednutia než pre svetlý, napríklad
biely chlieb.
■ Na zabránenie prehriatia hriankovača ana zabezpečenie rovnomerného
hnednutia chleba počkajte medzi dvoma opekaniami asi 15 sekúnd.
■ Najvyšší stupeň na regulátore zhnednutia používajte len na veľké krajce
tmavého chleba. Svetlý chlieb by sa na tomto stupni pripálil abol by nepoužiteľný na jedenie. Okrem toho môže dôjsť aj kdymeniu. Vtakom prípade
ihneď stlačte tlačidlo „Stop“
avytiahnite sieťovú zástrčku zo zásuvky.

Pred prvým uvedením do prevádzky
■ Zapnite hriankovač trikrát bez chleba pri nastavení stupňa zhnednutia na
maximum (7).
■ Potom hriankovač vyčistite podľa opisu vkapitole „Čistenie“.
UPOZORNENIE
► Ovládacie tlačidlo sa zaistí, len ak je pripojený sieťový kábel.
► Pri prvom použití môže vznikať mierny zápach (možný je aj mierny dym).
To je celkom normálne apo krátkom čase tento jav zmizne. Postarajte sa,
prosím, o dostatočné vetranie. Napríklad otvorte okno.
Obsluha
Nastavenie stupňa zhnednutia
Požadovaný stupeň zhnednutia od „svetlý“ (1) až po „tmavý“ (7) sa dá plynule
nastaviť regulátorom zhnednutia .
UPOZORNENIE
► Majte na pamäti, že podľa obsadenia (zaťaženia) hriankovača sa stupeň
zhnednutia pri rovnakom nastavení regulátora mení! Čím menej plátkov
chleba na hrianky vložíte do hriankovača, tým vyšší bude stupeň zhnednutia.
Preto nastavte regulátor zhnednutia pri menšom zaťažení vždy trochu
nižšie.
Hriankovanie
POZOR – NEBEZPEČENSTVO POŽIARU!
► Počas prevádzky hriankovača nezakrývajte otvory na vloženie pečiva .
Hrozí nebezpečenstvo požiaru! Prístroj by sa mohol neopraviteľne poškodiť!
1) Po nastavení požadovaného stupňa zhnednutia vložte chlieb do otvoru pre
pečivo .
2) Stlačte ovládacie tlačidlo nadol. Automatické vystredenie chleba vystredí
vložený chlieb votvore na vloženie pečiva .
3) Po dosiahnutí požadovaného stupňa zhnednutia sa hriankovač automaticky
vypne a plátky chleba vyjdú znova nahor.
Prerušenie hriankovania
Keď chcete prerušiť hriankovanie, stlačte tlačidlo „Stop“ . Hriankovač sa
vypne aplátky chleba sa vysunú nahor.

Funkcia ohrevu
Zohrievanie umožňuje zohriať chlieb bez jeho zhnednutia. Napríklad, keď opečený
chlieb vychladne. Chlieb sa len krátko zohreje.
1) Vložte chlieb astlačte ovládacie tlačidlo nadol.
2) Stlačte tlačidlo „Ohriať“

podľa vlastností adruhu chleba rôzne.

1) Ak chcete odstrániť omrvinky, vytiahnite zásuvku na omrvinky nabok.

uvedenou nižšie.
Záručné podmienky
Záručná doba začína plynúť dátumom nákupu. Prosím, uschovajte si originálny
pokladničný blok. Tento doklad slúži ako doklad ozakúpení.
Ak v priebehu troch rokov od dátumu zakúpenia tohto výrobku dôjde k chybe
materiálu alebo výrobnej chybe, výrobok Vám podľa nášho uváženia bezplatne
opravíme alebo vymeníme. Podmienkou tohto záručného plnenia je, že počas
trojročnej lehoty sa poškodený prístroj a doklad o zakúpení (pokladničný blok)
predložia so stručným popisom, v čom spočíva chyba prístroja a kedy k nej došlo.
Ak je chyba pokrytá našou zárukou, zašleme Vám späť opravený alebo nový
výrobok. Opravou alebo výmenou výrobku nezačína plynúť žiadna nová záručná
doba.
Záručná doba a zákonné nároky na odstránenie chýb
Záručná doba sa záručným plnením nepredĺži. To platí aj pre vymenené aopravené diely. Poškodenia a chyby zistené prípadne už pri kúpe, sa musia hlásiť
okamžite po vybalení. Po uplynutí záručnej doby podliehajú prípadné opravy
poplatku.
Rozsah záruky
Prístroj bol starostlivo vyrobený v súlade s prísnymi smernicami kvality a pred
dodaním bol svedomito preskúšaný.
Záručné plnenie sa vzťahuje na chyby materiálu a výrobné chyby. Táto záruka
sa nevzťahuje na časti výrobku, ktoré sú vystavené bežnému opotrebovaniu, a
preto ich možno pokladať za opotrebované diely alebo za poškodenia krehkých
dielov, ako sú napríklad spínače, akumulátory, formy na pečenie alebo diely
vyrobené zo skla.
Táto záruka zaniká v prípade poškodenia výrobku neodborným používaním
alebo neodbornou údržbou. Na správne používanie výrobku sa musia presne
dodržiavať všetky pokyny, uvedené v návode na obsluhu. Bezpodmienečne sa

Lieferumfang
Das Gerät wird standardmäßig mit folgenden Komponenten geliefert:

1) Entnehmen Sie das Gerät und die Bedienungsanleitung aus dem Karton.
2) Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial.
HINWEIS
► Prüfen Sie die Lieferung auf Vollständigkeit und auf sichtbare Schäden.
► Bei einer unvollständigen Lieferung oder Schäden infolge mangelhafter
Verpackung oder durch Transport wenden Sie sich an die Service-Hotline
(siehe Kapitel Garantie und Service).
Entsorgung der Verpackung
Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungsmaterialien
sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichtspunkten
ausgewählt und deshalb recyclebar.
Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoffe und
verringert das Abfallaufkommen. Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigte Verpackungsmaterialien gemäß den örtlich geltenden Vorschriften.

STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR

► Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät niemals mit Wasser in Berührung
kommen kann. Betreiben Sie das Gerät niemals in der Nähe
von Wasser oder neben Gefäßen, die Flüssigkeit enthalten.
► Achten Sie darauf, dass im Betrieb das Netzkabel niemals
nass oder feucht wird. Führen Sie es so, dass es nicht eingeklemmt oder anderweitig beschädigt werden kann.
► Ziehen Sie nach Gebrauch immer den Netzstecker aus der
Steckdose, um ein unbeabsichtigtes Einschalten zu vermeiden.
► Verwenden Sie keine zu großen oder zu dicken Scheiben,
da sich diese leicht verklemmen. Sollten sich Brotscheiben
verklemmen, ziehen Sie zuerst den Netzstecker aus der
Netzsteckdose. Lösen Sie verklemmte Brotscheiben mit
einem stumpfen Holzstab (z.B. einem Pinselstiel). Dabei die
Heizdrähte nicht berühren.

WARNUNG! VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!
► Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren sowie von Per-
sonen mit reduzierten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und/oder Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich
des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden
und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstanden haben.
► Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
► Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht durch Kinder
durchgeführt werden, es sei denn, sie sind älter als 8 Jahre
und beaufsichtigt. Kinder jünger als 8 Jahre sind vom Gerät
und der Anschlussleitung fernzuhalten.
► Die Geräteteile können beim Betrieb heiß werden. Fassen Sie
daher nur die Bedienelemente an.
► Betreiben Sie das Gerät nur auf einer stabilen, rutschfesten
und ebenen Stellfläche.
► Benutzen Sie keine externe Zeitschaltuhr oder ein separates
Fernwirksystem, um das Gerät zu betreiben.
► Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel vollständig von der Kabelaufwick-
lung ab, bevor Sie das Gerät benutzen.
► Beim Rösten sehr kleiner Brotscheiben besteht bei der Entnahme
aus dem Toaster. Verbrennungsgefahr!
WARNUNG!
► Achtung - Verbrennungsgefahr, wenn nicht Standard-Toastbrot
verwendet wird.
Aufgrund der kleineren Größe oder Form besteht die Gefahr,
dass Sie beim Herausnehmen des getoasteten Brotes, heiße
Teile berühren.

ACHTUNG - BRANDGEFAHR!
► Röstgut kann sich entzünden! Stellen Sie das Gerät deshalb
niemals in der Nähe oder unter brennbaren Gegenständen
ab, insbesondere nicht unter Gardinen oder Hängeschränke.
► Das Gerät darf nicht in der Nähe von brennbaren Materialien
verwendet werden.
► Decken Sie nie den Toaster ab, solange er in Betrieb ist.
► Betreiben Sie das Gerät niemals unbeaufsichtigt.
► Entleeren Sie in regelmäßigen Abständen die Krümelschub-
lade, um Brandgefahr zu vermeiden.
Tipps zum Gebrauch
■ Unterschiede in der Brotsorte, Feuchte und Dicke der einzelnen Scheiben
beeinflussen die Bräunung des Toastbrotes. Daher sollte das Toastbrot möglichst in einer geschlossenen Verpackung aufbewahrt werden. Probieren Sie
immer zunächst einen niedrigeren Bräunungsgrad aus.
■ Verwenden Sie eine niedrigere Bräunungsstufe, wenn Sie trockenes Brot
bräunen, da trockenes Brot schneller bräunt als frisches Brot.
■ Stellen Sie eine niedrigere Bräunungsstufe ein, wenn Sie weniger als 4
Scheiben Brot toasten.
■ Wählen Sie für dunkles Brot eine höhere Bräunungsstufe als für helle Brote,
beispielsweise Weißbrot.
■ Um eine Überhitzung des Toasters zu vermeiden und eine gleichmäßige
Bräunung des Brotes zu erhalten, warten Sie zwischen zwei Toastvorgängen
ca. 15 Sekunden.
■ Die höchste Stufe am Bräunungsregler sollten Sie nur für große Schei-
ben dunklen Brotes verwenden. Helles Brot wird mit dieser Bräunungsstufe
anbrennen und ungenießbar. Außerdem kann es zu Rauchentwicklung kommen. Drücken Sie in diesem Fall sofort die Taste „Stopp“

Vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme
■ Betreiben Sie den Toaster 3 mal ohne Toast bei maximaler Bräunungsgrad-
Einstellung (7).
■ Reinigen Sie den Toaster danach wie im Kapitel „Reinigen“ beschrieben.
HINWEIS
► Die Bedientaste rastet nur bei angeschlossenem Netzkabel ein.
► Beim ersten Gebrauch kann ein leichter Geruch entstehen (auch geringe
Rauchentwicklung möglich). Dieser ist normal und verliert sich nach kurzer
Zeit. Sorgen Sie bitte für ausreichende Belüftung. Öffnen Sie zum Beispiel
ein Fenster.
Bedienen
Bräunungsgrad einstellen
Der gewünschte Bräunungsgrad von „hell“ (1) bis „dunkel“ (7) kann mit dem
Bräunungsregler stufenlos eingestellt werden.
HINWEIS
► Beachten Sie, dass je nach Beladung des Toasters, der Bräunungsgrad bei
gleichbleibender Einstellung des Bräunungsreglers variiert! Je weniger
Toastscheiben Sie einlegen, umso höher ist ihr Bräunungsgrad. Stellen Sie
daher den Bräunungsregler bei wenig Beladung immer etwas herunter.
Toasten
ACHTUNG - BRANDGEFAHR!
► Bei Betrieb des Toasters die Röstschächte nicht abdecken. Es besteht die
Gefahr eines Brandes! Das Gerät kann irreparabel beschädigt werden!
1) Nach dem Einstellen des gewünschten Bräunungsgrades legen Sie das Brot
in den Röstschacht ein.
2) Drücken Sie die Bedientaste nach unten. Die automatische Brotzentrierung zentriert das eingelegte Brot im Röstschacht .
3) Ist der gewünschte Bräunungsgrad erreicht, schaltet sich der Toaster automatisch ab und die Brotscheiben kommen wieder nach oben.
Toastvorgang unterbrechen
Wenn Sie den Toastvorgang unterbrechen wollen, drücken Sie die Taste „Stopp“
. Der Toaster schaltet sich aus und die Brotscheiben kommen nach oben.

Aufwärm-Funktion
Die Aufwärm-Funktion ermöglicht Ihnen, das Brot zu erwärmen ohne es zu
bräunen. Zum Beispiel, wenn geröstetes Brot wieder erkaltet ist. Das Brot wird nur
kurz erwärmt.
1) Legen Sie das Brot ein und drücken Sie die Bedientaste nach unten.
2) Drücken Sie die Taste „Aufwärmen“

3) Wenn das Brot wieder aufgewärmt ist, schaltet sich das Gerät automatisch
ab, die an der Taste „Aufwärmen“
und die Brotscheiben kommen wieder nach oben.
Auftau-Funktion
Durch Betätigung der Taste „Auftauen“ kann auch eingefrorenes Toastbrot
aufgetaut und getoastet werden. Der Toaster erwärmt das Brot hierbei langsam.
1) Nach dem Einstellen des gewünschten Bräunungsgrades legen Sie das Brot
in den Röstschacht ein.
2) Drücken Sie die Bedientaste nach unten.
3) Betätigen Sie die Taste „Auftauen“

4) Wenn der Auftau- und Röstvorgang beendet ist, schaltet sich der Toaster
automatisch ab, die an der Taste „Auftauen“

Legen Sie Brötchen niemals direkt auf den Toaster, sondern verwenden Sie immer
den Brötchenaufsatz .
1) Drücken Sie die Taste Brötchenaufsatz nach unten, bis dieser vollständig
ausgefahren ist.
2) Legen Sie die Brötchen darauf und starten Sie den Toastvorgang. Stellen Sie
den Bräunungsregler dafür maximal auf Stufe 3. Die Bräunung kann jedoch,
je nach Beschaffenheit und Art des Brötchens, unterschiedlich ausfallen.
HINWEIS
► Legen Sie die Brötchen so auf den Brötchenaufsatz , dass sie nicht durch
den Brötchenaufsatz hindurchfallen können.
► Die Brötchen sind nach dem Röstvorgang sehr heiß.
3) Sobald sich der Toaster ausschaltet, das Brötchen zur Bräunung der anderen
Seite umdrehen und den Toaster wieder einschalten.

4) Wenn Sie den Brötchenaufsatz nicht mehr benötigen, Bringen Sie den
Brötchenaufsatz wieder in seine Ausgangsposition, indem Sie die Taste
Brötchenaufsatz wieder nach oben schieben.
Krümelschublade
Beim Toasten sammeln sich die abfallenden Krümel in der Krümelschublade .
1) Zum Entfernen der Krümel ziehen Sie die Krümelschublade zur Seite
heraus.
2) Entfernen Sie die Krümel.
3) Schieben Sie die Krümelschublade wieder in den Toaster.
Reinigen
STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR
► Ziehen Sie erst den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose, bevor Sie das Gerät
reinigen.
Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten!

Sehr geehrte Kundin, sehr geehrter Kunde,
Sie erhalten auf dieses Gerät 3 Jahre Garantie ab Kaufdatum. Im Falle von
Mängeln dieses Produkts stehen Ihnen gegen den Verkäufer des Produkts gesetzliche Rechte zu. Diese gesetzlichen Rechte werden durch unsere im Folgenden
dargestellte Garantie nicht eingeschränkt.
Garantiebedingungen
Die Garantiefrist beginnt mit dem Kaufdatum. Bitte bewahren Sie den OriginalKassenbon gut auf. Diese Unterlage wird als Nachweis für den Kauf benötigt.
Tritt innerhalb von drei Jahren ab dem Kaufdatum dieses Produkts ein Materialoder Fabrikationsfehler auf, wird das Produkt von uns – nach unserer Wahl – für
Sie kostenlos repariert oder ersetzt. Diese Garantieleistung setzt voraus, dass
innerhalb der Drei-Jahres-Frist das defekte Gerät und der Kaufbeleg (Kassenbon)
vorgelegt und schriftlich kurz beschrieben wird, worin der Mangel besteht und
wann er aufgetreten ist.
Wenn der Defekt von unserer Garantie gedeckt ist, erhalten Sie das reparierte
oder ein neues Produkt zurück. Mit Reparatur oder Austausch des Produkts
beginnt kein neuer Garantiezeitraum.
Garantiezeit und gesetzliche Mängelansprüche
Die Garantiezeit wird durch die Gewährleistung nicht verlängert. Dies gilt auch
für ersetzte und reparierte Teile. Eventuell schon beim Kauf vorhandene Schäden
und Mängel müssen sofort nach dem Auspacken gemeldet werden. Nach Ablauf
der Garantiezeit anfallende Reparaturen sind kostenpflichtig.
Garantieumfang
Das Gerät wurde nach strengen Qualitätsrichtlinien sorgfältig produziert und vor
Auslieferung gewissenhaft geprüft.
Die Garantieleistung gilt für Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler. Diese Garantie
erstreckt sich nicht auf Produktteile, die normaler Abnutzung ausgesetzt sind und
daher als Verschleißteile angesehen werden können oder für Beschädigungen
an zerbrechlichen Teilen, z. B. Schalter, Akkus, Backformen oder Teile die aus
Glas gefertigt sind.
Diese Garantie verfällt, wenn das Produkt beschädigt, nicht sachgemäß benutzt
oder gewartet wurde. Für eine sachgemäße Benutzung des Produkts sind alle
in der Bedienungsanleitung aufgeführten Anweisungen genau einzuhalten.
Verwendungszwecke und Handlungen, von denen in der Bedienungsanleitung
abgeraten oder vor denen gewarnt wird, sind unbedingt zu vermeiden.
Das Produkt ist nur für den privaten und nicht für den gewerblichen Gebrauch
bestimmt. Bei missbräuchlicher und unsachgemäßer Behandlung, Gewaltanwendung und bei Eingriffen, die nicht von unserer autorisierten Service-Niederlassung
vorgenommen wurden, erlischt die Garantie.

Abwicklung im Garantiefall
Um eine schnelle Bearbeitung ihres Anliegens zu gewährleisten, folgen Sie bitte
den folgenden Hinweisen:
■ Bitte halten Sie für alle Anfragen den Kassenbon und die Artikelnummer (z. B.
IAN 12345) als Nachweis für den Kauf bereit.
■ Die Artikelnummer entnehmen Sie bitte dem Typenschild, einer Gravur, auf
dem Titelblatt ihrer Anleitung (unten links) oder als Aufkleber auf der Rückoder Unterseite.
■ Sollten Funktionsfehler oder sonstige Mängel auftreten kontaktieren Sie zunächst
die nachfolgend benannte Serviceabteilung telefonisch oder per E-Mail.
■ Ein als defekt erfasstes Produkt können Sie dann unter Beifügung des Kauf-
belegs (Kassenbon) und der Angabe, worin der Mangel besteht und wann
er aufgetreten ist, für Sie portofrei an die Ihnen mitgeteilte Service-Anschrift
übersenden.
