entschieden. Die Bedienungsanleitung ist Bestandteil
dieses Produkts. Sie enthält wichtige Hinweise für
Sicherheit, Gebrauch und Entsorgung. Machen Sie
sich vor der Benutzung des Produkts mit allen Bedienund Sicherheitshinweisen vertraut. Benutzen Sie das
Produkt nur wie beschrieben und für die angegebenen Einsatzbereiche. Händigen Sie alle Unterlagen

Feuchtigkeit, Staub, Chemikalien,

► Setzen Sie das Gerät nicht hohen

► Werfen Sie die Batterien nicht ins
Feuer.
► Schließen Sie die Batterien nicht kurz.
► Versuchen Sie nicht die Batterien
wieder aufzuladen.
► Überprüfen Sie regelmäßig die Batte-
rien. Ausgetretene Batteriesäure kann
dauerhafte Schäden am Gerät
verursachen. Im Umgang mit einer
beschädigten oder ausgelaufenen
Batterie besondere Vorsicht walten
lassen. Verätzungsgefahr! Schutzhandschuhe tragen.
► Batterien für Kinder unzugänglich
aufbewahren. Bei Verschlucken
umgehend einen Arzt aufsuchen.
► Entnehmen Sie die Batterien aus
dem Gerät, wenn Sie es längere
Zeit nicht benutzen.

Inbetriebnahme
♦ Öffnen Sie den Deckel des Batteriefachs 5
und legen Sie die zwei Batterien des Typs
1,5 V AAA, LR03 ein. Achten Sie dabei auf die
korrekte Polung.
♦ Schließen Sie das Batteriefach 5 wieder.
Im Display 2 erscheint „0,0 g“. Das Gerät ist
betriebsbereit.
♦ Um die Einheit zu wechseln, drücken Sie die
∑
Taste
/UNIT 3 solange, bis im Display 2
„0,000 oz“ erscheint.
Gerät benutzen
Einfache Messung
♦ Schalten Sie das Gerät ggf. mit der Taste
ON/TARE4 ein.
♦ Legen Sie den Löffel 1 mit dem zu wiegenden
Inhalt auf eine ebene Fläche und halten Sie das
hintere Ende fest, um das Gerät am Kippen zu
hindern.
oder
♦ Halten Sie das Gerät möglichst ruhig und
waagerecht in der Hand.
♦ Um das Gerät auszuschalten, drücken und
halten Sie die Taste ON/TARE 4, bis das
Display 2 erlischt.
oder
♦ Warten Sie ca. 60 Sekunden ab. Das Gerät
schaltet sich automatisch ab.
Summierfunktion
Sie können einzelne Messungen (je Messung max.
300 g Gewicht) addieren.
♦ Drücken Sie die Taste ON/TARE 4 und führen
Sie die erste Messung durch.
♦ Drücken Sie die Taste
erscheint „∑“ und das Gewicht des eingefüllten
Wiegegutes.

♦ Entfernen Sie das Wiegegut aus dem Löffel 1
und füllen Sie das zu addierende hinein. Im
Display 2 wird das Gewicht des neuen Wiegegutes zu dem vorherigen Gewicht addiert und
das Gesamtgewicht angezeigt.
♦ Sie können diesen Vorgang so oft wiederholen,
bis 3000 g Gesamtgewicht erreicht sind. Werden
3000 g überschritten, zeigt das Display 2

► Während Sie Werte addieren, können Sie die
TARE-Funktion nicht nutzen!

Messen in einem Behälter
♦ Wenn Sie ein Lebensmittel in einem anderen
Behälter wiegen wollen, geben Sie zuerst den
Behälter in den Löffel 1.
♦ Drücken Sie dann die Taste ON/TARE 4, um
die Anzeige wieder auf Null zu setzen.
♦ Wenn Sie nun das Lebensmittel in den Behälter
füllen, wird nur das Gewicht des Lebensmittels
angezeigt.
Nehmen Sie den Behälter mit dem Lebenmittel von
dem Löffel 1, wird ein negativer Wert angezeigt.
♦ Drücken Sie erneut die Taste ON/TARE 4,
um wieder in den normalen Wiegemodus zu
gelangen.
Messen von Flüssigkeiten
Die Skala im Löffel 1 kann zum Messen von
Flüssigkeiten verwendet werden (15 - 45 ml oder
1 - 3 Esslöffel).
Es kann jedoch aufgrund von Wahrnehmungsfehlern
zu einer Differenz von bis zu 15 % kommen.
Halte-Funktion (HOLD)
Durch Drücken der Taste HOLD 6, während ein
Gewicht angezeigt wird, bleibt die Gewichtsanzeige erhalten, auch wenn Sie den Inhalt aus dem
Löffel 1 nehmen.
Durch erneutes Drücken der Taste HOLD 6
deaktivieren Sie die Halte-Funktion und das aktuelle
Gewicht wird wieder angezeigt.

Batteriewechsel
Sobald die Batterien schwach werden, erscheint im
Display 2 das Symbol „
daran, bald die Batterien zu wechseln. Sobald im
Display 2„

Wechseln Sie dann die Batterien aus:
♦ Öffnen Sie den Deckel des Batteriefachs 5.
♦ Entfernen Sie die leeren Batterien und legen Sie
zwei neue Batterien des Typs 1,5 V AAA, LR03
ein. Achten Sie dabei auf die korrekte Polung.
♦ Schließen Sie das Batteriefach 5 wieder.

Legen Sie das Gerät auf eine stabile Unterlage/halten Sie das Gerät gerade und ruhig in der Hand.
– Die Batterien sind schwach. Die Batterien müs-
sen bald ausgetauscht werden!
– Die Batterien sind leer. Tauschen Sie die
Batterien aus!
– Überladen! Das in den Löffel 1 eingefüllte
Gewicht überschreitet das Maximalgewicht!
Entfernen Sie Gewicht aus dem Löffel 1!
Reinigen und Pflegen
ACHTUNG! SACHSCHADEN!
Verwenden Sie keine scheuernden oder chemischen
Reinigungsmittel. Diese greifen die Oberfläche des
Gerätes an!
♦ Reinigen Sie das Gerät mit einem leicht angefeuch-
teten Tuch. Bei hartnäckigeren Verschmutzungen
geben Sie ein mildes Spülmittel auf das Tuch.
HINWEIS
Den Löffel 1 können Sie zur Reinigung
vom Löffelstiel abnehmen und separat in
der Spülmaschine reinigen.
♦ Trocknen Sie das Gerät vor der erneuten Ver-
wendung gut ab.

Entsorgen
Werfen Sie das Gerät keinesfalls
in den normalen Hausmüll.
Dieses Produkt unterliegt der europäischen Richtlinie 2012/19/EU.
Entsorgen Sie das Gerät über einen
zugelassenen Entsorgungsbetrieb oder
über Ihre kommunale Entsorgungseinrichtung. Beachten Sie die aktuell geltenden
Vorschriften. Setzen Sie sich im Zweifelsfall mit Ihrer Entsorgungseinrichtung in
Verbindung.
Möglichkeiten zur Entsorgung des aus-
gedienten Produkts erfahren Sie bei Ihrer
Gemeinde- oder Stadtverwaltung.
Batterien/Akkus dürfen nicht im Hausmüll
entsorgt werden. Jeder Verbraucher ist
gesetzlich verpflichtet, Batterien/Akkus
bei einer Sammelstelle seiner Gemeinde/
seines Stadtteils oder im Handel abzugeben. Diese Verpflichtung dient dazu, dass
Batterien/Akkus einer umweltschonenden
Entsorgung zugeführt werden können.
Geben Sie Batterien/Akkus nur im entladenen Zustand zurück.

Führen Sie alle Verpackungsmaterialien
einer umweltgerechten Entsorgung zu.
Entsorgen Sie die Verpackung umweltge-
recht. Beachten Sie die Kennzeichnung
auf den verschiedenen Verpackungsmaterialien und tren nen Sie diese gegebenenfalls gesondert. Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind gekennzeichnet mit
Abkürzungen (a) und Ziffern (b) mit
folgender Bedeutung:

Sie erhalten auf dieses Gerät 3 Jahre Garantie ab
Kaufdatum. Im Falle von Mängeln dieses Produkts
stehen Ihnen gegen den Verkäufer des Produkts
gesetzliche Rechte zu. Diese gesetzlichen Rechte
werden durch unsere im Folgenden dargestellte
Garantie nicht eingeschränkt.
Garantiebedingungen
Die Garantiefrist beginnt mit dem Kaufdatum. Bitte
bewahren Sie den Original– Kassenbon gut auf.
Diese Unterlage wird als Nachweis für den Kauf
benötigt.
Tritt innerhalb von drei Jahren ab dem Kaufdatum
dieses Produkts ein Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler auf, wird das Produkt von uns – nach unserer
Wahl – für Sie kostenlos repariert oder ersetzt.
Diese Garantieleistung setzt voraus, dass innerhalb
der Drei-Jahres-Frist das defekte Gerät und der
Kaufbeleg (Kassenbon) vorgelegt und schriftlich
kurz beschrieben wird, worin der Mangel besteht
und wann er aufgetreten ist.
Wenn der Defekt von unserer Garantie gedeckt ist,
erhalten Sie das reparierte oder ein neues Produkt
zurück. Mit Reparatur oder Austausch des Produkts
beginnt kein neuer Garantiezeitraum.
Garantiezeit und gesetzliche
Mängelansprüche
Die Garantiezeit wird durch die Gewährleistung nicht
verlängert. Dies gilt auch für ersetzte und reparierte
Teile. Eventuell schon beim Kauf vorhandene Schäden und Mängel müssen sofort nach dem Auspacken
gemeldet werden. Nach Ablauf der Garantiezeit
anfallende Reparaturen sind kostenpflichtig.
Garantieumfang
Das Gerät wurde nach strengen Qualitätsrichtlinien
sorgfältig produziert und vor Auslieferung gewissenhaft geprüft.
Die Garantieleistung gilt für Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler. Diese Garantie erstreckt sich nicht auf Produktteile, die normaler Abnutzung ausgesetzt sind
und daher als Verschleißteile angesehen werden
können oder für Beschädigungen an zerbrechlichen
Teilen, z. B. Schalter, Akkus, Backformen oder Teile
die aus Glas gefertigt sind.

Diese Garantie verfällt, wenn das Produkt beschädigt, nicht sachgemäß benutzt oder gewartet wurde. Für eine sachgemäße Benutzung des Produkts

Anweisungen genau einzuhalten. Verwendungszwecke und Handlungen, von denen in der Bedienungsanleitung abgeraten oder vor denen gewarnt wird,
sind unbedingt zu vermeiden.
Das Produkt ist nur für den privaten und nicht für den
gewerblichen Gebrauch bestimmt. Bei missbräuchlicher und unsachgemäßer Behandlung, Gewaltanwendung und bei Eingriffen, die nicht von unserer
autorisierten Service-Niederlassung vorgenommen
wurden, erlischt die Garantie.

► Do not short-circuit the batteries.
► Do not attempt to recharge the
batteries.
► Check the condition of the batteries
at regular intervals. Leaking battery
acid can cause permanent damage to the appliance. Special care
should be taken when handling damaged or leaking batteries. Risk of
acid burns! Wear protective gloves.
► Store batteries out of the reach of
children. If a battery is swallowed,
seek medical attention IMMEDIATELY.
► If you do not intend to use the
appliance for a long time, remove
the batteries.

Operation
♦ Open the lid of the battery compartment 5
and insert two 1.5 V AAA/LR03 batteries. Ensure that the battery has the correct polarity.
♦ Close the battery compartment 5.
"0.0 g" appears on the display 2. The appliance is now ready for use.
♦ To change the units, press the
ton until "0.000 oz" appears on the display 2.

Using the appliance
Simple measurement
♦ Switch the appliance on using the ON/TARE
button4.
♦ Place the spoon 1 with the contents to be
weighed on a level surface and hold the rear
end firmly to prevent the appliance from tipping.

♦ Hold the appliance horizontally in your hand
and keep it as still as possible.
♦ To turn the appliance off, press and hold the
ON/TARE 4 button until the display 2 goes
out.
or
♦ Wait for approx. 60 seconds. The appliance
switches itself off automatically.
Totalising function
You can add individual measurements (max. 300 g
per measurement) together.
♦ Press the ON/TARE 4 button and carry out the
first measurement.
♦ Press the
weight of the material on the scale appear on
the display 2.

♦ Remove the material from the spoon 1 and
add the next portion of material to be weighed.
The weight of the new material is now added to
the previous weight on the display 2 and the
total weight is shown.
♦ You can repeat this procedure until you have
reached 3000 g in total weight. If 3000 g is
exceeded, the display 2 shows "
NOTE
► You cannot use the TARE function while you
are adding weights!

TARE function/measuring in a container
♦ If you want to weigh food in another container,
place the container in the spoon 1 first.
♦ Then press the ON/TARE button 4 to reset the
display to zero.
♦ When you add the food to the container, only
the weight of the food itself will be displayed.
If you take the container with the food off the
spoon 1, a negative value will be displayed.
♦ Now press the ON/TARE button 4 again to
return to the normal weighing mode.
Measuring liquids
The scale in the spoon 1 can be used for measuring
liquids (15–45 ml or 1–3 tablespoons).
However, due to optical displacement, differences
of up to 15% can occur.
Hold function (HOLD)
If you press the HOLD button 6 while a weight is
being displayed, the weight display will be retained
even if you remove the contents from the spoon 1.
If you then press the HOLD button 6 again, you
will deactivate the hold function and the current
weight will be displayed again.

Changing the batteries
As soon as the battery becomes low, the " " symbol
will be shown on the display 2 to remind you to
replace the battery soon. When "
on the display 2, the battery is empty.
You should then replace the battery:
♦ Remove the cover of the battery compartment 5.
♦ Take out the empty battery, and replace it with
a new 1.5 V AAA/LR03 battery. Ensure that the
battery has the correct polarity.
♦ Close the battery compartment 5.

Error messages
- "OUTZero": There is already more than 30 g
weight in the spoon 1 when the scale is switched
on. Remove the weight from the spoon 1 and then
switch the appliance back on again.
- „UNSTable“: The appliance is not being held
stably/level while being switched on. Place the
appliance on a stable support/hold the appliance
level and still in your hand.
– The batteries are low. The batteries will need to
be replaced soon!
– The batteries are dead. Replace the
batteries!
- Overload! The material in the spoon 1 is
heavier than the maximum allowed weight!
Remove some material from the spoon 1!
Cleaning and care
ATTENTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!
Do not use abrasive or chemical cleaning
materials. These will damage the surface of the
appliance!
♦ Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. For
stubborn soiling use a mild detergent on the
cloth.
NOTE
You can remove the spoon 1 from the
spoon handle and clean it separately in
the dishwasher.
♦ Ensure that the appliance is properly dry before
re-using it.

Disposal
Never dispose of the appliance in
your normal domestic waste.
This product is subject to the
provisions of European Directive
2012/19/EU.
Dispose of the appliance via an approved disposal company or your municipal
waste facility. Please comply with all
applicable regulations. Please contact
your waste disposal facility if you are in
any doubt.
Your local community or municipal autho-
rities can provide information on how to
dispose of the worn-out product.
Used batteries must not be disposed
of in household waste. Consumers are
required by law to dispose of batteries
at a collection point provided by their
local community or at a retail store. The
purpose of this obligation is to ensure

Dear Customer,
This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from the
date of purchase. If this product has any faults, you,
the buyer, have certain statutory rights. Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by the warranty described below.
Warranty conditions
The validity period of the warranty starts from the
date of purchase. Please keep your original receipt
in a safe place. This document will be required as
proof of purchase.
If any material or production fault occurs within three
years of the date of purchase of the product, we
will either repair or replace the product for you at
our discretion. This warranty service is dependent
on you presenting the defective appliance and the
proof of purchase (receipt) and a short written description of the fault and its time of occurrence.
If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product will either be repaired or replaced by us. The
repair or replacement of a product does not signify
the beginning of a new warranty period.
Warranty period and statutory claims for
defects
The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs
effected under the warranty. This also applies to
replaced and repaired components. Any damage
and defects present at the time of purchase must
be reported immediately after unpacking. Repairs
carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall
be subject to a fee.
Scope of the warranty
This appliance has been manufactured in accordance with strict quality guidelines and inspected
meticulously prior to delivery.
The warranty covers material faults or production
faults. The warranty does not extend to product parts
subject to normal wear and tear or fragile parts
such as switches, batteries, baking moulds or parts
made of glass.

The warranty does not apply if the product has
been damaged, improperly used or improperly
maintained. The directions in the operating instructions
for the product regarding proper use of the product
are to be strictly followed. Uses and actions that are
discouraged in the operating instructions or which

This product is intended solely for private use and
not for commercial purposes. The warranty shall be
deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling, use of force and modifications / repairs which
have not been carried out by one of our authorised
Service centres.

To ensure quick processing of your case, please
observe the following instructions:
■ Please have the till receipt and the item num-
ber (e.g. IAN 12345) available as proof of
purchase.
■ You will find the item number on the type plate,
an engraving on the front page of the instructions (bottom left), or as a sticker on the rear or

■ If functional or other defects occur, please con-
tact the service department listed either by tele-
phone or by e-mail.
■ You can return a defective product to us free of
