Sicherheit, Gebrauch und Entsorgung. Machen Sie sich vor der Benutzung des Produkts mit allen Bedien- und Sicherheitshinweisen vertraut. Benutzen Sie dieses Produkt
nur wie beschrieben und für die angegebenen Einsatzbereiche. Händigen Sie alle

Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Dieses Gerät dient ausschließlich dem Erhitzen von Lebensmitteln.
Das Gerät ist ausschließlich für die Benutzung in privaten Haushalten bestimmt. Benut-
zen Sie das Gerät nicht gewerblich.
Lieferumfang
Das Gerät wird standardmäßig mit folgenden Komponenten geliefert:

▯ Bedienungsanleitung
1) Entnehmen Sie alle Teile des Gerätes und die Bedienungsanleitung aus dem
Karton.
2) Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial sowie Folien und Aufkleber.
3) Reinigen Sie alle Teile des Gerätes wie im Kapitel „Reinigung und Pflege“
beschrieben.
HINWEIS
► Prüfen Sie die Lieferung auf Vollständigkeit und auf sichtbare Schäden.
► Bei einer unvollständigen Lieferung oder Schäden infolge mangelhafter Verpa-
ckung oder durch Transport wenden Sie sich an die Service-Hotline (siehe Kapitel
Service).

Entsorgung der Verpackung
Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungsmaterialien
sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichtspunkten ausgewählt
und deshalb recyclebar.
Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoffe und verringert
das Abfallaufkommen. Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigte Verpackungsmaterialien
gemäß den örtlich geltenden Vorschriften.
Entsorgen Sie die Verpackung umweltgerecht. Beachten Sie die Kennzeichnung auf den
verschiedenen Verpackungsmaterialien und trennen Sie diese gegebenenfalls
gesondert. Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind gekennzeichnet mit Abkürzungen (a) und
Ziffern (b) mit folgender Bedeutung: 1–7: Kunststoffe, 20–22: Papier und Pappe,
80–98: Verbundstoffe.
HINWEIS
► Heben Sie, wenn möglich, die Originalverpackung während der Garantiezeit
des Gerätes auf, um das Gerät im Garantiefall ordnungsgemäß verpacken zu
können.

Sicherheitshinweise
STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR
► Lassen Sie beschädigte Netzstecker oder Netzkabel sofort von
autorisiertem Fachpersonal oder dem Kundenservice austauschen,
um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
► Fassen Sie Gerät, Netzkabel und -stecker nie mit nassen Händen
an. Es besteht sonst die Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlags.
► Knicken oder quetschen Sie das Netzkabel nicht.
► Ziehen Sie das Netzkabel stets am Netzstecker aus der Steckdose,
ziehen Sie nicht am Kabel selbst.
► Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an eine vorschrifts mäßig installierte und
gut erreichbare Netzsteckdose an. Die Netzspannung muss mit den
Angaben auf dem Typenschild des Gerätes übereinstimmen.
► Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe der Badewanne / Dusche
oder über einem mit Wasser gefüllten Waschbecken. Nähe von Wasser stellt eine Gefahr dar, auch wenn das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist.
► Das Gerät ist nur für die Verwendung in trockenen Räumen geeignet.
Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in Wasser oder andere Flüssig-
keiten.
WARNUNG! VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!
► Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und darüber sowie
von Personen mit verringerten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und Wissen benutzt
werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstehen.
► Kinder jünger als 8 Jahre sind von Gerät und der Anschlussleitung
fernzuhalten.
► Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
► Reinigung und Benutzerwartung dürfen nicht durch Kinder durchge-
führt werden, es sei denn, sie sind älter als 8 Jahre und beaufsichtigt.

WARNUNG! VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!
► Lassen Sie das Gerät nach Gebrauch erst abkühlen, bevor Sie es
transportieren.
► Verlegen Sie das Netzkabel so, dass niemand darauf treten oder
darüber stolpern kann.
► Berühren Sie niemals die Kochplatten während der Benutzung, da
diese sehr heiß werden.
► Sie dürfen keine Verlängerungskabel verwenden. Die Netzsteck-
dose muss im Notfall schnell zu erreichen sein.
► Benutzen Sie keine externe Zeitschaltuhr oder ein separates Fern-
wirksystem, um das Gerät zu betreiben.
Achtung! Heiße Oberfläche.
ACHTUNG - BRANDGEFAHR!
► Lassen Sie das Gerät während des Betriebs niemals unbeaufsichtigt.
► Es dürfen sich während des Betriebs keine leicht brennbaren Materi-
alien in unmittelbarer Umgebung des Gerätes befinden (z. B. Geschirrhandtuch, Topflappen etc.).
► Wenn Sie das Gerät über einen längeren Zeitraum nicht nutzen, müs-
sen Sie es vom Stromnetz trennen. Nur wenn Sie den Netzstecker
aus der Netzsteckdose ziehen, ist das Gerät vollständig stromfrei.
Aufstellen und Inbetriebnahme
1) Stellen Sie das Gerät auf eine stabile, ebene und hitzebeständige Oberfläche.
2) Verbinden Sie den Netzstecker mit einer Netzsteckdose.
3) Schalten Sie das Gerät ein, indem Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter in die Stellung „I“
bringen.
4) Stellen Sie beide Thermostate / auf MAX und lassen Sie die Kochplatten
/ca. 3 Minuten ohne Topf aufheizen.
Hierbei kann es zu leichter Rauchentwicklung kommen, da die aufgetragene
Schutzschicht einbrennt. Sorgen Sie für ausreichende Belüftung. Öffnen Sie zum
Beispiel ein Fenster.
5) Nach 3 Minuten schalten Sie die Kochplatten / wieder aus.

Energieeffizientes Kochen
■ Benutzen Sie Töpfe, die den gleichen Durchmesser wie die jeweilige Kochplatte
/ haben. Bei zu kleinen Töpfen, die nicht die ganze Kochplatte /
bedecken, geht sehr viel Energie verloren.
■ Achten Sie darauf, dass die Töpfe/Pfannen plan auf den Kochplatten /
aufliegen. Verbeulte oder schiefe Böden verhindern eine optimale Wärmeleitung.
■ Um Energie zu sparen, können Sie die Kochplatte / schon ausschalten,
bevor das Gericht ganz fertig gegart ist. Die Restwärme der Kochplatte /
reicht meistens aus, um das Gericht zu Ende zu garen.
Bedienen
HINWEIS
► Verwenden Sie Kochgeschirr mit flachen, geraden Böden zur besseren Wärmelei-
tung.
► Benutzen Sie möglichst zur Größe der Kochplatte passendes Kochgeschirr.
1) Stellen Sie den gefüllten Topf auf die gewünschte Kochplatte /.
2) Schalten Sie das Gerät ein, indem Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter in die Stellung „I“
bringen.
3) Drehen Sie das jeweilige Thermostat / auf die gewünschte Einstellung:
▯ 0: ausgeschaltet
▯
▯ 4 - MAX: schnell kochen

Wenn Sie das Gerät längere Zeit nicht benutzen, ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der
Netzsteckdose.

HINWEIS
► Die Kontrollleuchte / leuchtet, solange die Kochplatte / aufheizt.
Sobald die eingestellte Temperatur erreicht ist, erlischt die Kontrollleuchte /.
Während des Betriebs kann es sein, dass die Kontrollleuchte / wieder auf-
leuchtet und erlischt. Dies ist keine Fehlfunktion des Gerätes, sondern ein Zeichen
dafür, dass die Kochplatte /die Temperatur hält und nachheizt.
4) Wenn der Kochvorgang beendet ist, stellen Sie das Thermostat / wieder
auf 0. Die Kontrollleuchte / erlischt.
5) Stellen Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter auf „O“.

Reinigung und Pflege
STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR
► Ziehen Sie vor jeder Reinigung den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.
Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten.
WARNUNG! VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!
► Lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen, bevor Sie es reinigen!
ACHTUNG - SACHSCHADEN!
► Benutzen Sie keine aggressiven, chemischen oder scheuernden Putzmittel, um das
Gerät zu reinigen! Diese können das Gerät beschädigen.
■ Wischen Sie das Gerät mit einem feuchten Tuch ab. Bei hartnäckigeren Verschmut-
zungen geben Sie ein mildes Spülmittel auf das Tuch.
Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie anschließend alle Spülmittelreste mit einem feuchten
Tuch entfernen.
■ Warten Sie mit der erneuten Benutzung, bis das Gerät wieder vollkommen
getrocknet ist.
Aufbewahren
■ Bewahren Sie das Gerät an einem trockenen und staubfreien Ort auf.
■ Wickeln Sie das Kabel um die Kabelaufwicklung an der Unterseite des Gerätes
und fixieren Sie das Ende mit dem Kabel-Clip:

Fehlerbehebung
Das Gerät
funktioniert nicht.
Entsorgung
Werfen Sie das Gerät keinesfalls in den normalen Hausmüll.
Dieses Produkt unterliegt der europäischen Richtlinie 2012/19/EU
(Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
Entsorgen Sie das Gerät über einen zugelassenen Entsorgungsbetrieb oder über Ihre
kommunale Entsorgungseinrichtung. Beachten Sie die aktuell geltenden Vorschriften.
Setzen Sie sich im Zweifelsfall mit Ihrer Entsorgungseinrichtung in Verbindung.
Möglichkeiten zur Entsorgung des ausgedienten Produkts erfahren Sie bei Ihrer
Gemeinde- oder Stadtverwaltung.
Das Produkt ist recycelbar, unterliegt einer erweiterten Herstellerverantwortung und
wird getrennt gesammelt.

Sehr geehrte Kundin, sehr geehrter Kunde,
Sie erhalten auf dieses Gerät 3 Jahre Garantie ab Kaufdatum. Im Falle von Mängeln
dieses Produkts stehen Ihnen gegen den Verkäufer des Produkts gesetzliche Rechte zu.
Diese gesetzlichen Rechte werden durch unsere im Folgenden dargestellte Garantie
nicht eingeschränkt.
Garantiebedingungen
Die Garantiefrist beginnt mit dem Kaufdatum. Bitte bewahren Sie den Kassenbon gut
auf. Dieser wird als Nachweis für den Kauf benötigt.
Tritt innerhalb von drei Jahren ab dem Kaufdatum dieses Produkts ein Material- oder
Fabrikationsfehler auf, wird das Produkt von uns – nach unserer Wahl – für Sie kostenlos repariert, ersetzt oder der Kaufpreis erstattet. Diese Garantieleistung setzt voraus,
dass innerhalb der Dreijahresfrist das defekte Gerät und der Kaufbeleg (Kassenbon)
vorgelegt und schriftlich kurz beschrieben wird, worin der Mangel besteht und wann er
aufgetreten ist.
Wenn der Defekt von unserer Garantie gedeckt ist, erhalten Sie das reparierte oder ein
neues Produkt zurück. Mit Reparatur oder Austausch des Produkts beginnt kein neuer
Garantiezeitraum.
Garantiezeit und gesetzliche Mängelansprüche
Die Garantiezeit wird durch die Gewährleistung nicht verlängert. Dies gilt auch für
ersetzte und reparierte Teile. Eventuell schon beim Kauf vorhandene Schäden und
Mängel müssen sofort nach dem Auspacken gemeldet werden. Nach Ablauf der Garantiezeit anfallende Reparaturen sind kostenpflichtig.
Garantieumfang
Das Gerät wurde nach strengen Qualitätsrichtlinien sorgfältig produziert und vor Auslieferung gewissenhaft geprüft.
Die Garantieleistung gilt für Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler. Diese Garantie erstreckt
sich nicht auf Produktteile, die normaler Abnutzung ausgesetzt sind und daher als
Verschleißteile angesehen werden können oder für Beschädigungen an zerbrechlichen
Teilen, z. B. Schalter, Akkus oder Teile, die aus Glas gefertigt sind.
Diese Garantie verfällt, wenn das Produkt beschädigt, nicht sachgemäß benutzt oder
gewartet wurde. Für eine sachgemäße Benutzung des Produkts sind alle in der Bedienungsanleitung aufgeführten Anweisungen genau einzuhalten. Verwendungszwecke
und Handlungen, von denen in der Bedienungsanleitung abgeraten oder vor denen
gewarnt wird, sind unbedingt zu vermeiden.
Das Produkt ist nur für den privaten und nicht für den gewerblichen Gebrauch bestimmt. Bei missbräuchlicher und unsachgemäßer Behandlung, Gewaltanwendung und
bei Eingriffen, die nicht von unserer autorisierten Serviceniederlassung vorgenommen
wurden, erlischt die Garantie.

Um eine schnelle Bearbeitung Ihres Anliegens zu gewährleisten, folgen Sie bitte den
folgenden Hinweisen:
■ Bitte halten Sie für alle Anfragen den Kassenbon und die Artikelnummer
(z.B.IAN123456) als Nachweis für den Kauf bereit.
■ Die Artikelnummer entnehmen Sie bitte dem Typenschild am Produkt, einer Gra-
vur am Produkt, dem Titelblatt der Bedienungsanleitung (unten links) oder dem
Aufkleber auf der Rück- oder Unterseite des Produktes.

Disposal of packaging
The packaging protects the appliance from transport damage. The packaging materials
have been selected in accordance with their environmental friendliness and disposal
attributes, and are therefore recyclable.
Returning the packaging to the material cycle conserves raw materials and reduces
the amount of waste that is generated. Dispose of packaging material that is no longer
needed in accordance with applicable local regulations.
Dispose of the packaging in an environmentally friendly manner. Note the labelling
on the packaging and separate the packaging material components for disposal if
necessary. The packaging material is labelled with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b)

Safety instructions
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
► To avoid risks, arrange for defective plugs and/or power cables
to be replaced at once by qualified technicians or our Customer
Service Department.
► Never hold the appliance, power cable or power plug with wet
hands. There is the risk of receiving an electric shock.
► Do not fold or crush the power cable.
► To disconnect, always remove the power plug itself from the mains
power socket, do not pull on the power cable.
► The appliance must only be connected to a correctly installed and
easily accessible mains power socket. Ensure that the rating of the
local power supply corresponds with the details on the rating plate of
the appliance.
► Do not use the appliance in the close vicinity of a bathtub/shower
or a sink filled with water. The proximity of moisture presents a
danger even when the appliance is switched off.
► The appliance is suitable for use only in dry areas.
NEVER submerse the appliance in water or other liquids.

► Route the power cable in such a way that no one can tread on or
trip over it.
► Never touch the cooking plates during use as these become very
hot.
► Do not use extension cables. The plug must be quickly accessible
in an emergency.
► Do not use an external timing switch or a separate remote control
system to operate the appliance.
Caution! Hot surfaces.
CAUTION - RISK OF FIRE!
► Never leave the appliance unattended while it is being used.
► When the appliance is in use ensure that there are no easily inflamma-
ble materials close to it (e.g. dishcloths, oven cloths etc.).
► If you do not intend to use the appliance for an extended period,
you must disconnect it from the power source. The appliance is
only completely without current when the power plug has been
pulled out of the socket.
Setting up and connecting
1) Place the appliance on a stable, level and heat-resistant surface.
2) Insert the plug into a mains power socket.
3) Switch the appliance on by switching the On/Off switch to the position “I”.
4) Set the two thermostats / to MAX and allow the hobs / to heat up for
about 3 minutes without any pan on them.
This can cause slight smoke development since the protective coating which has
been applied will burn in. Ensure there is sufficient ventilation. For example, open
a window.
5) Switch off the hobs / after 3 minutes.

Energy-efficient cooking
■ Use cooking pots with the same diameter as the respective hob /. If you use
particularly small pots that do not cover the whole hob /, a great deal of
energy is simply wasted.
■ Ensure that the pots/pans rest flat on the hobs /. Dented or uneven bottoms
prevent optimum heat conduction.
■ To save energy, you can turn off the hob / before you have completely
finished cooking. The residual heat of the hob / is usually sufficient to finish
cooking the food.
Operation
NOTE
► Use cooking utensils with flat, even bases for better thermal transfer.
► If possible, use cooking utensils which match the cooking plate sizes.
1) Place the filled saucepan on the required hob /.
2) Switch the appliance on by sliding the On/Off switch to the position “I”.
3) Turn the relevant thermostat / to the required setting:

NOTE
► The control lamp / remains lit while the hob / is heating up. As soon
as the selected temperature has been reached, the control lamp / goes
off. During operation, it is possible that the control lamp / switches on and
off. This is not a malfunction of the appliance, merely an indication that the hob
/is reheating occasionally to maintain the temperature.
4) Once the cooking process has finished, adjust thermostat / back to 0.
The indicator lamp / goes out.
5) Turn the On/Off switch to “O”.

Cleaning and care

Storage
■ Store the appliance in a dry and dust-free place.
■ Wind the cable around the cable retainer on the underside of the appliance and
fasten the end with the cable clip.

Dear Customer,
This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from the date of purchase. If this product has
any faults, you, the buyer, have certain statutory rights. Your statutory rights are not
restricted in any way by the warranty described below.
Warranty conditions
The warranty period starts on the date of purchase. Please keep your receipt in a safe
place. This will be required as proof of purchase.
If any material or manufacturing fault occurs within three years of the date of purchase of the product, we will either repair or replace the product for you or refund the
purchase price (at our discretion). This warranty service requires that you present the
defective appliance and the proof of purchase (receipt) within the three-year warranty
period, along with a brief written description of the fault and of when it occurred.
If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product will either be repaired or replaced by us. The repair or replacement of a product does not signify the beginning of
a new warranty period.
Warranty period and statutory claims for defects
The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs effected under the warranty. This also
applies to replaced and repaired components. Any damage and defects present at the
time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking. Repairs carried out
after expiry of the warranty period shall be subject to a fee.
Scope of the warranty
This appliance has been manufactured in accordance with strict quality guidelines and
inspected meticulously prior to delivery.
The warranty covers material faults or production faults. The warranty does not extend
to product parts subject to normal wear and tear or to fragile parts which could be
considered as consumable parts such as switches, batteries or parts made of glass.
The warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged, improperly used or
improperly maintained. The directions in the operating instructions for the product
regarding proper use of the product are to be strictly followed. Uses and actions that
are discouraged in the operating instructions or which are warned against must be
avoided.
This product is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes. The
warranty shall be deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling, use of force
and modifications / repairs which have not been carried out by one of our authorised
Service centres.
