use and disposal. Before using the product, familiarise yourself with all operating and

The appliance is intended exclusively for use in domestic households. Not for
commercial use!

1) Remove all parts of the appliance and the operating instructions from the box.
2) Remove all packaging materials as well as foils and stickers.
3) Clean all parts of the appliance as described in the section “Cleaning and care”.

NOTE
► Check the delivery for completeness and for signs of visible damage.
► If the delivery is not complete or has been damaged due to defective packaging
or transportation, contact the Service Hotline (see section Warranty and
Service).
Disposal of packaging
The packaging protects the appliance from transport damage. The packaging materials
have been selected in accordance with their environmental friendliness and disposal
attributes, and are therefore recyclable.
Returning the packaging to the material cycle conserves raw materials and reduces
the amount of waste that is generated. Dispose of packaging material that is no longer
needed in accordance with applicable local regulations.
NOTE
► If possible, keep the appliance's original packaging during the warranty period so that
the appliance can be packed properly for returning in the event of a warranty claim.

Safety instructions
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
► To avoid risks, arrange for defective plugs and/or power cables to be re-
placed at once by qualified technicians or our Customer Service Department.
► Never hold the appliance, power cable or power plug with wet hands.
There is the risk of receiving an electric shock.
► Do not fold or crush the power cable.
► To disconnect, always remove the power plug itself from the mains power
socket, do not pull on the power cable.
► The appliance must only be connected to a correctly installed and easily
accessible mains power socket. Ensure that the rating of the local power
supply corresponds with the details on the rating plate of the appliance.
► Do not use the appliance in the close vicinity of a bathtub/shower or a
sink filled with water. The proximity of moisture presents a danger even
when the appliance is switched off.
► The appliance is suitable for use only in dry areas.

RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
NEVER submerse the appliance in water or other liquids.

► This appliance may be used by children aged 8 or over and by persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge, provided that they are under supervision or have been
told how to use of the appliance safely and are aware of the potential risks.
► Children younger than 8 years of age must be kept away from the appli-
ance and the power cable.
► Children must not play with the appliance.
► Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children unless
they are older than 8 years of age and are supervised.
► After use, allow the appliance to cool down before transporting it.
► Route the power cable in such a way that no one can tread on or trip over it.
► Never touch the cooking plates during use as these become very hot.
► Do not use extension cables. The plug must be quickly accessible in an
emergency.

operate the appliance.

CAUTION - RISK OF FIRE!
► Never leave the appliance unattended while it is being used.
► When the appliance is in use ensure that there are no easily inflammable
materials close to it (e.g. dishcloths, oven cloths etc.).
► If you do not intend to use the appliance for an extended period, you must
disconnect it from the power source. The appliance is only completely without current when the power plug has been pulled out of the socket.
Setting up and connecting
1) Place the appliance on a stable, level and heat-resistant surface.
2) Insert the plug into a mains power socket.
3) Switch the appliance on by switching the On/Off switch to the position “I”.
4) Switch both hobs / to MAX and allow these to heat up for around 3 minutes without a saucepan.
This can cause slight smoke development since the protective coating which has
been applied will burn in. Ensure there is sufficient ventilation. For example, open
a window.
5) Switch off the hobs / after 3 minutes.
Energy-efficient cooking
■ Use cooking pots with the same diameter as the respective hob /. If you use
particularly small pots that do not cover the whole hob /, a great deal of
energy is simply wasted.
■ Ensure that the pots/pans rest flat on the hobs /. Dented or uneven bottoms
prevent optimum heat conduction.
■ To save energy, you can turn off the hob / before you have completely
finished cooking. The residual heat of the hob / is usually sufficient to finish
cooking the food.

Operation
NOTE
1) Place the filled saucepan on the required hob /.
2) Switch the appliance on by sliding the On/Off switch to the position “I”.
3) Turn the relevant thermostat / to the required setting:

4) Once the cooking process has finished, adjust thermostat / back to 0.
5) Turn the On/Off switch to “O”.
If you do not intend to use the appliance for an extended period, remove the plug from
the power socket.
Use cooking utensils with flat, even bases for better thermal transfer.

► If possible, use cooking utensils which match the cooking plate sizes.

▯ 4–MAX: fast cooking
► The control lamp / remains lit while the hob / is heating up. As soon
as the selected temperature has been reached, the control lamp / goes off.
During operation, it is possible that the control lamp / switches on and off.
This is not a malfunction of the appliance, merely an indication that the hob /
is reheating occasionally to maintain the temperature.
The indicator lamp / goes out.

► Before cleaning, ALWAYS remove the plug from the mains power socket.
Never submerse the appliance in water or other liquids.

► Do not use abrasive, chemical or caustic cleaning agents to clean this appliance!
These can damage the appliance.
■ Wipe the appliance with a damp cloth. For stubborn soiling use a mild detergent
on the cloth.
Ensure that you remove all detergent residues with a moist cloth afterwards.
■ Please wait until the appliance is completely dry before using it again.
■ Store the appliance in a dry and dust-free place.

Disposal
Never dispose of the appliance in the normal domestic waste.
This product is subject to the provisions of European Directive
2012/19/EU (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
Dispose of the appliance through an approved disposal centre or at your community
waste facility. Please observe the currently applicable regulations. Please contact your
waste disposal centre should you be in any doubt.
Warranty and Service
The warranty for this appliance is for 3 years from the date of purchase. The appliance
has been manufactured with care and meticulously examined before delivery.
Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the case of a warranty claim, please
make contact by telephone with our Customer Service Department. Only in this way
can a post-free despatch for your goods be assured.
NOTICE
► The warranty covers only claims for material and manufacturing defects, but not
for transport damage, wearing parts or for damage to fragile components, e.g.
buttons or batteries.
This product is for domestic use only and is not intended for commercial use. The warranty is void in the case of abusive and improper handling, use of force and internal
tampering not carried out by our authorised service branch.
Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by this warranty. The warranty period
is not extended by repairs made under the warranty. This applies also to replaced and
repaired parts.
Damages and defects extant at the time of purchase must be reported immediately
after unpacking, resp. no later than two days after the date of purchase.
Repairs made after the lapse of the warranty period are subject to charge.

Namjenska uporaba

Uređaj je namijenjen isključivo za uporabu u privatnim domaćinstvima. Uređaj ne

Opseg isporuke
Uređaj se standardno isporučuje sa sljedećim komponentama:

1) Sve dijelove uređaja i upute za rukovanje izvadite iz kartona.
2) Odstranite svu ambalažu i sve folije i naljepnice.
3) Sve dijelove uređaja očistite na način opisan u poglavlju „Čišćenje i njega“.

NAPOMENA
Provjerite cjelovitost opsega isporuke i provjerite postoje li na uređaju vidljiva

oštećenja.
► U slučaju nepotpune isporuke ili oštećenja zbog oskudnog pakiranja ili transportnih
oštećenja obratite se dežurnoj servisnoj telefonskoj liniji (vidi poglavlje Jamstvo
i servis).
Zbrinjavanje ambalaže
Ambalaža štiti uređaj od transportnih oštećenja. Materijali pakiranja su izabrani prema
ekološkim aspektima i aspektima zbrinjavanja i stoga mogu biti reciklirani.
Povrat ambalaže u kružni tok materijala štedi sirovine te smanjuje nakupljanje otpada.
Ambalažu koja Vam više nije potrebna zbrinite u skladu s važećim lokalnim propisima.

► Po mogućnosti sačuvajte originalno pakiranje uređaja za vrijeme trajanja jamstve-
nog roka, kako biste uređaj u slučaju korištenja prava na jamstvo mogli uredno

Sigurnosne napomene
OPASNOST OD STRUJNOG UDARA
► Oštećene mrežne utikače ili kabele obavezno mora odmah zamijeniti
ovlašteno stručno osoblje ili servis za kupce, kako bi se izbjegle opasnosti.
► Uređaj, kabel i utikač nikada ne dirajte mokrim rukama. U protivnom postoji
opasnost od strujnog udara!
► Ne gnječite i ne lomite mrežni kabel.
► Mrežni kabel iz mrežne utičnice uvijek izvucite povlačenjem za mrežni
utikač, nikada ne povlačite sam kabel.
► Uređaj priključite isključivo na propisno instaliranu i lako dostupnu mrežnu
utičnicu. Mrežni napon mora odgovarati navodima napisanim na tipskoj
ploči uređaja.
► Ne koristite uređaj u blizini kade/tuša ili umivaonika napunjenog vodom.
Blizina vode predstavlja izvor opasnosti, čak i kada je uređaj isključen.
► Uređaj je prikladan isključivo za korištenje u suhim prostorijama.

OPASNOST OD STRUJNOG UDARA
Uređaj nikada ne zaronite u vodu ili u druge tekućine.

► Ovaj uređaj smiju koristiti djeca stara 8 godina ili više, kao i osobe sa
smanjenim fizičkim, senzornim ili mentalnim sposobnostima ili pomanjkanjem iskustva i/ili znanja, ukoliko su pod nadzorom ili su primile poduku o
sigurnom rukovanju uređajem te su razumjele opasnosti koje proizlaze iz
uporabe uređaja.
► Djecu mlađu od 8 godina treba držati podalje od uređaja i priključnog
voda.
► Djeca se ne smiju igrati uređajem.
► Čišćenje i održavanje od strane korisnika ne smiju obavljati djeca ukoliko
nisu navršila 8 godina starosti i ako nisu pod nadzorom.
► Nakon korištenja uređaj prije transporta ostavite da se do kraja ohladi.
► Mrežni kabel postavite tako da nitko na njega ne može stati ili se preko
njega spotaknuti.

uređajem.

OPREZ - OPASNOST OD POŽARA!
► Uređaj za vrijeme rada nikada ne ostavite bez nadzora.

► Za vrijeme rada uređaja u njegovoj se neposrednoj blizini ne smiju nalaziti
lako zapaljivi materijali (npr. kuhinjske krpe i sl.).
► Ako uređaj duže vrijeme ne koristite potrebno je izvući utikač iz utičnice.
Uređaj nije pod naponom samo kada je utikač izvučen iz utičnice.
Postavljanje i uključivanje
1) Uređaj postavite na stabilnu, ravnu podlogu otpornu na visoke temperature.
2) Utaknite utikač u mrežnu utičnicu.
3) Uređaj uključite postavljanjem prekidača Uklj/Isklj u položaj „I“.
4) Obje ploče za kuhanje / postavite na MAX i pustite da se zagriju bez
lonaca otprilike 3 minute.
Pritom zbog sagorijevanja zaštitnog sloja može doći do laganog dimljenja.
Pobrinite se za dostatno prozračivanje. Primjerice otvorite jedan prozor.
5) Nakon 3 minute ponovno isključite ploče za kuhanje /.
Energetski učinkovito kuhanje
■ Koristite lonce koji imaju isti promjer kao i ploča za kuhanje /. Ako koristite
lonce koji su manji od ploče i ne pokrivaju cijelu ploču /, tada se gubi vrlo
velika količina energije.
■ Pazite da lonci/tave dobro naliježu na grijaće ploče /. Ulubljeno ili neravno
dno onemogućuje optimalno provođenje topline.
■ U svrhu uštede energije, ploču za kuhanje / možete isključiti i prije nego je
jelo skroz gotovo. Preostala toplina ploče za kuhanje / uglavnom je dostatna
za dovršetak kuhanja.

Rukovanje
NAPOMENA
► Koristite posude za kuhanje s ravnim dnom zbog bolje provodljivosti topline.
► Po mogućnosti koristite posude čija veličina odgovara veličini ploče za kuhanje.
1) Napunjenu posudu postavite na željenju ploču za kuhanje /.
2) Uređaj uključite postavljanjem prekidača Uklj/Isklj u položaj „I“.
3) Okrenite pripadajući termostat / u željeni položaj:

NAPOMENA
► Kontrolna lampica / svijetli sve dok se ploča za kuhanje / zagrijava.
4) Nakon završetka kuhanja, termostat / ponovno postavite na 0.
5) Prekidač Uklj/Isklj postavite u položaj „O“.
Ako uređaj duže vrijeme ne koristite, izvucite utikač iz utičnice.

▯ 4 - MAX: brzo kuhanje
Čim se dostigne podešena temperatura, kontrolna lampica / se gasi.
Tijekom rada kontrolna lampica / može se naizmjenično paliti i gasiti. Ovo ne
predstavlja kvar uređaja, već ukazuje na to da ploča /održava temperaturu i
dodatno se zagrijava.
