instructions are a constituent of this product. They contain important information on safety,
use and disposal. Before using the product, familiarise yourself with all operating and
safety instructions. This appliance must only be used as described and for the purposes
indicated. Please also pass these operating instructions on to any future owner(s).

1) Remove all parts of the appliance and the operating instructions from the box.
2) Remove all packaging materials as well as foils and stickers.
3) Clean all parts of the appliance as described in the section “Cleaning and care”.

NOTE
► Check the delivery for completeness and for signs of visible damage.
► If the delivery is not complete or has been damaged due to defective packaging
or transportation, contact the Service Hotline (see section Warranty and
Service).
Disposal of packaging
The packaging protects the appliance from transport damage. The packaging materials
have been selected in accordance with their environmental friendliness and disposal
attributes, and are therefore recyclable.
Returning the packaging to the material cycle conserves raw materials and reduces
the amount of waste that is generated. Dispose of packaging material that is no longer
needed in accordance with applicable local regulations.
NOTE
► If possible, keep the appliance's original packaging during the warranty period so that
the appliance can be packed properly for returning in the event of a warranty claim.

Safety instructions
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
► To avoid risks, arrange for defective plugs and/or power cables to
be replaced at once by qualified technicians or our Customer Service
Department.
► Never hold the appliance, power cable or power plug with wet
hands. There is the risk of receiving an electric shock.
► Do not fold or crush the power cable.
► To disconnect, always remove the power plug itself from the mains
power socket, do not pull on the power cable.
► The appliance must only be connected to a correctly installed and easily
accessible mains power socket. Ensure that the rating of the local power
supply corresponds with the details on the rating plate of the appliance.
► Do not use the appliance in the close vicinity of a bathtub/shower or
a sink filled with water. The proximity of moisture presents a danger
even when the appliance is switched off.
► The appliance is suitable for use only in dry areas.

RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
NEVER submerse the appliance in water or other liquids.

► This appliance may be used by children aged 8 or over and by per-
sons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge, provided that they are under supervision
or have been told how to use of the appliance safely and are aware
of the potential risks.
► Children younger than 8 years of age must be kept away from the
appliance and the power cable.
► Children must not play with the appliance.
► Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children
unless they are older than 8 years of age and are supervised.
► After use, allow the appliance to cool down before transporting it.
► Route the power cable in such a way that no one can tread on or trip
over it.
► Never touch the cooking plates during use as these become very hot.
► Do not use extension cables. The plug must be quickly accessible in
an emergency.
► Do not use an external timing switch or a separate remote control
system to operate the appliance.

CAUTION - RISK OF FIRE!
► Never leave the appliance unattended while it is being used.
► When the appliance is in use ensure that there are no easily inflammable
materials close to it (e.g. dishcloths, oven cloths etc.).
► If you do not intend to use the appliance for an extended period, you
must disconnect it from the power source. The appliance is only completely without current when the power plug has been pulled out of
the socket.
Setting up and connecting
1) Place the appliance on a stable, level and heat-resistant surface.
2) Insert the plug into a mains power socket.
3) Switch the appliance on by switching the On/Off switch to the position “I”.
4) Switch both hobs / to MAX and allow these to heat up for around 3 minutes without a saucepan.
This can cause slight smoke development since the protective coating which has
been applied will burn in. Ensure there is sufficient ventilation. For example, open
a window.
5) Switch off the hobs / after 3 minutes.
Energy-efficient cooking
■ Use cooking pots with the same diameter as the respective hob /. If you use
particularly small pots that do not cover the whole hob /, a great deal of
energy is simply wasted.
■ Ensure that the pots/pans rest flat on the hobs /. Dented or uneven bottoms
prevent optimum heat conduction.
■ To save energy, you can turn off the hob / before you have completely
finished cooking. The residual heat of the hob / is usually sufficient to finish
cooking the food.

Operation
NOTE
1) Place the filled saucepan on the required hob /.
2) Switch the appliance on by sliding the On/Off switch to the position “I”.
3) Turn the relevant thermostat / to the required setting:

4) Once the cooking process has finished, adjust thermostat / back to 0.
5) Turn the On/Off switch to “O”.
If you do not intend to use the appliance for an extended period, remove the plug from
the power socket.
Use cooking utensils with flat, even bases for better thermal transfer.

► The control lamp / remains lit while the hob / is heating up. As soon
as the selected temperature has been reached, the control lamp / goes off.
During operation, it is possible that the control lamp / switches on and off.
This is not a malfunction of the appliance, merely an indication that the hob /
is reheating occasionally to maintain the temperature.
The indicator lamp / goes out.

Cleaning and care
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
► Before cleaning, ALWAYS remove the plug from the mains power socket.
Never submerse the appliance in water or other liquids.

► Allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning it!
CAUTION - PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► Do not use abrasive, chemical or caustic cleaning agents to clean this appliance!
These can damage the appliance.
■ Wipe the appliance with a damp cloth. For stubborn soiling use a mild detergent
on the cloth.
Ensure that you remove all detergent residues with a moist cloth afterwards.
■ Please wait until the appliance is completely dry before using it again.
Storage
■ Store the appliance in a dry and dust-free place.

Disposal
Never dispose of the appliance in the normal domestic waste.
This product is subject to the provisions of European Directive
2012/19/EU (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
Dispose of the appliance through an approved disposal centre or at your community
waste facility. Please observe the currently applicable regulations. Please contact your
waste disposal centre should you be in any doubt.
Warranty and Service
The warranty for this appliance is for 3 years from the date of purchase. The appliance
has been manufactured with care and meticulously examined before delivery.
Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the case of a warranty claim, please
make contact by telephone with our Customer Service Department. Only in this way
can a post-free despatch for your goods be assured.
NOTICE
► The warranty covers only claims for material and manufacturing defects, but not
for transport damage, wearing parts or for damage to fragile components, e.g.
buttons or batteries.
This product is for domestic use only and is not intended for commercial use. The warranty is void in the case of abusive and improper handling, use of force and internal
tampering not carried out by our authorised service branch.
Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by this warranty. The warranty period
is not extended by repairs made under the warranty. This applies also to replaced and
repaired parts.
Damages and defects extant at the time of purchase must be reported immediately
after unpacking, resp. no later than two days after the date of purchase.
Repairs made after the lapse of the warranty period are subject to charge.

Vásárlásával modern és kiváló minőségű termék mellett döntött. A használati útmutató a
termék része. Fontos tudnivalókat tartalmaz a biztonságra, használatra és ártalmatlanításra
vonatkozóan. A termék használata előtt ismerkedjen meg valamennyi használati útmutatóval
és biztonsági figyelmeztetéssel. A terméket csak a leírtak szerint és a megadott célokra
használja. Ha a készüléket harmadik személynek továbbadja, akkor adja át a készülékhez
tartozó valamennyi dokumentumot is.

Rendeltetésszerű használat
Ez a készülék kizárólag élelmiszerek felmelegítésére való.
Ez a készülék kizárólag magánháztartásokban használható. Ne használja a készüléket
kereskedelmi célokra.

TUDNIVALÓ
Ellenőrizze a csomag tartalmát, hogy hiánytalan-e és nincs-e rajta látható sérülés.

► Hiányos szállítás vagy a nem megfelelő csomagolásból eredő, illetve a szállítás
során keletkezett károk esetén forduljon az ügyfélszolgálathoz (lásd a Garancia
és szerviz fejezetet).
A csomagolás ártalmatlanítása
A csomagolás védi a készüléket a sérülésektől a szállítás során. A csomagolóanyagokat
környezetbarát és hulladék ártalmatlanítási szempontok szerint választottuk ki és ezért
újrahasznosíthatók.
Nyersanyagot takarít meg és csökkenti a hulladékmennyiséget, ha a csomagolást
visszajuttatja a nyersanyag-körforgásba. A feleslegessé vált csomagolóanyagokat
a hatályos helyi előírásoknak megfelelően helyezze el a hulladékban.
TUDNIVALÓ
► Amennyiben lehetséges, őrizze meg az eredeti csomagolást a garancia ideje
alatt, hogy garanciális javítás esetén a készüléket megfelelően be lehessen
csomagolni.

Biztonsági utasítások
ÁRAMÜTÉS VESZÉLYE
► A veszélyek elkerülése érdekében a sérült hálózati csatlakozódugót
vagy vezetéket azonnal cseréltesse ki kijelölt szakemberrel vagy az
ügyfélszolgálattal.
► Soha ne fogja meg nedves kézzel a készüléket, a hálózati kábelt és
a csatlakozódugót. Különben elektromos áramütés veszélye áll fenn.
► Ne törje meg és ne szorítsa be a hálózati kábelt.
► A hálózati kábelt mindig a csatlakozónál fogva húzza ki az aljzatból,
ne magát a kábelt húzza.
► A készüléket csak előírásszerűen beszerelt és jól elérhető aljzatba
csatlakoztassa. A hálózati feszültség egyezzen meg a készülék típustábláján megadott feszültséggel.
► Ne használja a készüléket fürdőkád / tusoló vagy vízzel feltöltött
mosdó közelében. A víz közelsége még kikapcsolt készüléknél is
veszélyt jelent.
► A készülék kizárólag száraz helyiségben használható.

ÁRAMÜTÉS VESZÉLYE
Soha ne merítse a készüléket vízbe vagy más folyadékba.
FIGYELMEZTETÉS! SÉRÜLÉSVESZÉLY!
► A készüléket 8 éves kor feletti gyermekek és csökkent fizikai, érzék-
szervi vagy szellemi képességű vagy tapasztalattal, illetve tudással
nem rendelkező személyek felügyelet mellett használhatják, ha felvilágosították őket a készülék biztonságos használatáról és megértették
az ebből eredő veszélyeket.
► Ügyeljen arra, hogy 8 évesnél fiatalabb gyermekek ne kerüljenek a
készülék és a csatlakozó vezeték közelébe.
► Gyermekek nem játszhatnak a készülékkel.
► Tisztítást és a felhasználói karbantartást 8 évesnél fiatalabb vagy
felügyelet nélküli gyermekek nem végezhetnek.
► Használat után hagyja lehűlni a készüléket, mielőtt elszállítaná!
► Úgy helyezze el a hálózati kábelt, hogy arra senki ne léphessen rá
és senki ne botolhasson meg benne.
► Használat közben ne érjen hozzá a főzőlaphoz, mert felforrósodik.
► Nem szabad hosszabbító kábelt használni. A hálózati csatlakozóalj-
zat vészhelyzetben legyen gyorsan elérhető.
► A készülék üzemeltetéséhez ne használjon külső időkapcsolót vagy
külön távműködtető rendszert.

FIGYELEM - TŰZVESZÉLY!
► Üzemeltetés közben soha se hagyja a készüléket felügyelet nélkül.
► Működés közben nem szabad semmilyen gyúlékony anyagot a készü-
lék közvetlen közelében tárolni (pl. edénytörlő, edényfogó kendő stb.).
► A készüléket hosszabb időtartamú üzemen kívül helyezés előtt válasz-
sza le a villamos hálózatról. Csak akkor teljesen árammentes, ha a
hálózati csatlakozódugót kihúzza a csatlakozó aljzatból.
A készülék elhelyezése és üzembe helyezése
1) Helyezze a készüléket stabil, sima és hőálló felületre.
2) Csatlakoztassa a hálózati csatlakozódugót a hálózati csatlakozóaljzathoz.
3) Kapcsolja be a készüléket a be-/kikapcsoló „I” helyzetbe állításával.
4) Állítsa a két főzőlapot / MAX állásba és melegítse edény nélkül kb. 3 percig.
Enyhe füst képződhet, mivel a felületen lévő védőréteg leég. Gondoskodjon
megfelelő szellőzésről. Például nyissa ki az ablakot.
5) A főzőlapokat / 3 perc múlva ismét kapcsolja ki.
Energiahatékony főzés
■ Az adott főzőlappal / egyező méretű edényeket használjon. A túl kicsi
edények nem fedik le a teljes főzőlapot /, ezért túl sok energia vész kárba.
■ Ügyeljen arra, hogy az edények/serpenyők teljesen elfedjék az / főzőlapokat.
A kidudorodó vagy ferde fenék megakadályozza a megfelelő hővezetést.
■ Energiát takaríthat meg akkor, ha még az étel készre főzése előtt kikapcsolja a
főzőlapot /. A főzőlap / maradék hőenergiája legtöbbször elegendő
az étel készre főzéséhez.

Használat
TUDNIVALÓ
1) Állítsa a feltöltött edényt a megfelelő főzőlapra /.
2) Kapcsolja be a készüléket a be-/kikapcsoló „I” helyzetbe állításával.
3) Forgassa el a termosztátot / a kívánt beállításra:

4) A főzési folyamat befejezését követően a / termosztátot állítsa ismét 0-ra.
5) Ha a készüléket hosszabb időn keresztül nem akarja használni, akkor állítsa a

► Az / ellenőrző lámpa mindaddig világít, amíg a főzőlap / melegedik.
Amint a készülék elérte a beállított hőfokot, kialszik az / ellenőrző lámpa.
Üzem közben előfordulhat, hogy az / ellenőrző lámpa ismét felvillan és
kialszik. Ez nem jelenti a készülék működési hibáját, csupán azt, hogy az /
főzőlap tartja a hőmérsékletet és utánfűt.
