È stato scelto un prodotto di alta qualità. Il manuale
di istruzioni è parte integrante del presente prodotto.
Esso contiene importanti indicazioni sulla sicurezza,
l'uso e lo smaltimento. Prima di utilizzare il prodotto,
acquisire dimestichezza con tutte le indicazioni
relative ai comandi e alla sicurezza. Utilizzare il
prodotto solo come descritto e per i campi d'impiego
indicati. In caso di cessione del prodotto a terzi,
consegnare anche tutta la relativa documentazione.
Uso conforme
Il ferro da stiro a vapore è destinato esclusivamente
alla stiratura di capi di abbigliamento. È possibile
impiegarlo esclusivamente in ambienti chiusi e per
l'uso domestico privato. Qualsiasi altro impiego è
considerato non conforme. Non utilizzarlo a fini
commerciali.

Indicazioni di sicurezza
PERICOLO DI FOLGORAZIONE!
► La tensione della sorgente di alimentazione deve coincidere con
i dati riportati sulla targhetta dell'apparecchio.
► Fare riparare tempestivamente un apparecchio guasto da un'of-
ficina qualificata e specializzata oppure rivolgersi al servizio di
assistenza ai clienti, per evitare situazioni di pericolo.
► Al fine di evitare pericoli, fare sostituire immediatamente spine o
cavi danneggiati da personale specializzato autorizzato o dal
centro di assistenza clienti.
► Per interrompere l'alimentazione, tirare sempre la spina e non il
cavo.
► Non piegare o schiacciare il cavo di rete e disporlo in modo tale
da non consentire un contatto con superfici calde e da evitare
che si possa calpestarlo o vi si possa inciampare.
► Staccare sempre la spina prima della pulizia, prima di riempire
l'apparecchio con acqua e dopo ogni utilizzo.
► Srotolare sempre completamente il cavo di rete prima di accen-
dere l'apparecchio e non impiegare prolunghe.
► Non toccare mai il cavo o la spina a mani umide.
► Non è assolutamente consentito utilizzare il ferro da stiro a
vapore nelle vicinanze di acqua contenuta in vasche da bagno,
docce, lavandini o altri recipienti. La vicinanza all'acqua rappresenta un pericolo anche con apparecchio spento.
► Non immergere per alcun motivo il ferro da stiro a vapore in
alcun liquido ed evitare infiltrazioni di liquidi all'interno dell'alloggiamento dell'apparecchio. Non esporre l'apparecchio all'umidità e non utilizzarlo all'aperto. In caso di infiltrazioni di liquidi
nell'alloggiamento dell'apparecchio, disinserire subito la spina
dalla presa e fare riparare l'apparecchio da personale specializzato qualificato.

► È vietato aprire l'alloggiamento del ferro da stiro a vapore. Fare
riparare l'apparecchio guasto solo da personale specializzato
qualificato.
► Non utilizzare mai il ferro da stiro a vapore se presenta danni
visibili, se è caduto oppure se ne fuoriesce acqua. Farlo riparare
da personale specializzato qualificato.
► Non continuare a utilizzare l'apparecchio in caso di danni alla
protezione antipiega del cavo di rete!
► Questo apparecchio può essere utilizzato dai bambini di almeno
8 anni di età e da persone con capacità fisiche, sensoriali o mentali ridotte o insufficiente esperienza o conoscenza, solo se sorvegliati o istruiti sull'uso sicuro dell'apparecchio e qualora ne abbiano
compreso i pericoli associati. I bambini non devono giocare con
l'apparecchio. La pulizia e la manutenzione a cura dell'utente non
devono essere eseguiti dai bambini se non sorvegliati.
PERICOLO DI USTIONI!
► Prendere il ferro da stiro a vapore soltanto dall'impugnatura
quando è molto caldo.
► Sorvegliare i bambini per assicurarsi che non giochino con
l'apparecchio.
► Non posizionare mai le mani sotto il getto del vapore o su parti
in metallo incandescenti.
► Durante il funzionamento non è consentito aprire l'apertura di
rabbocco del serbatoio dell'acqua. Lasciare prima raffreddare il
ferro da stiro a vapore e staccare la spina dalla presa di rete.
► Il ferro da stiro e il relativo cavo di connessione devono trovarsi
fuori dalla portata di bambini di età inferiore agli 8 anni durante
l'accensione o il raffreddamento.

PERICOLO DI LESIONI! PERICOLO DI INCENDIO!
► Non lasciare mai incustodito il ferro da stiro a vapore quando è
rovente, collegato alla rete elettrica o acceso.
► Conservare il ferro da stiro solo quando è freddo.
► Il ferro da stiro a vapore dev'essere utilizzato e collocato su una
superficie stabile.
► Stirare solo con le impostazioni della temperatura indicate nelle
istruzioni per la cura e adatte per il materiale da stirare, altrimenti
la biancheria potrebbe danneggiarsi. Qualora non si fosse a conoscenza delle istruzioni per la cura, iniziare con la temperatura
impostata sul valore più basso.
► Collocare il ferro da stiro solo su una superficie piana e insensibile
al calore. Il ferro da stiro deve essere in posizione stabile.
► Se si desidera appoggiare il ferro da stiro a vapore, collocarlo
solo sulla base.
ATTENZIONE! PERICOLO DI DANNI MATERIALI!
► Nel caso in cui le avvertenze per la cura all'interno del capo di
abbigliamento vietassero la stiratura (simbolo
), non è consentito
stirare il capo. In caso contrario, esso potrebbe danneggiarsi.
► Si può versare nel serbatoio dell'acqua esclusivamente acqua
corrente/acqua distillata. In caso contrario si danneggia il ferro
da stiro.
► Non è consentito lavare il ferro da stiro a vapore con solventi,
alcool o detergenti abrasivi. In caso contrario, esso subirà danni.

Prima del primo impiego
■ Estrarre il ferro da stiro a vapore dalla confezione.
■ Rimuovere tutti gli adesivi e le parti di pellicola
dal ferro da stiro a vapore e dalla piastra di
stiratura q.
PERICOLO DI SOFFOCAMENTO!
► Le buste di plastica possono rappresentare
un pericolo. Per evitare il pericolo di soffocamento, tenere le buste di plastica lontano
dalla portata dei bambini.
■ Versare acqua nel serbatoio dell'acqua (vedi
capitolo "Riempimento del serbatoio dell'acqua").
■ Inserire la spina in una presa che presenti la
tensione indicata sulla targhetta tipo.
■ Portare il regolatore di temperatura 6 in posi-
zione "MAX".
■ Far riscaldare il ferro da stiro fino a quando non
viene emesso un segnale acustico.
■ Prendere in mano il ferro da stiro e azionare
ripetutamente il tasto per il getto di vapore
4 in modo tale che il vapore fuoriesca dalla
piastra di stiratura q.
■ Stirare prima un pezzo di stoffa inutilizzato, per
rimuovere eventuali impurità dalla piastra di
stiratura q.
Riempimento del serbatoio
dell'acqua
■ Tenere in mano il ferro da stiro inclinato.
■ Aprire il coperchietto dell'apertura di rabbocco
del serbatoio dell'acqua 2. Esso è contrassegnato con
■ Con il misurino e riempire il serbatoio di acqua
corrente/acqua distillata non oltre il contrassegno
"MAX” che si vede nell'apertura di rabbocco
del serbatoio dell'acqua 2.
■ Chiudere il coperchietto dell'apertura di rabbocco
del serbatoio dell'acqua 2.
NOTA
Nel caso in cui l'acqua di rubinetto nella regione
in cui si risiede fosse troppo dura, si consiglia di
mescolare l'acqua di rubinetto con acqua distillata. Altrimenti gli ugelli per la funzione getto di
vapore potrebbero calcificarsi precocemente.
Per prolungare la funzione getto di vapore ottimale, mescolare l'acqua di rubinetto con acqua
distillata seguendo le indicazioni della tabella.

Collegamento e stiratura
Si può stirare a secco, senza vapore, a qualsiasi
temperatura; stirare a vapore è possibile soltanto
a partire dal campo di regolazione rosso

■ Inserire la spina in una presa di corrente.
ATTENZIONE! PERICOLO DI DANNI

► Nel caso in cui le avvertenze per la cura
all'interno del capo di abbigliamento
vietassero la stiratura (simbolo
consentito stirare il capo. In caso contrario,
esso potrebbe danneggiarsi.
■ Controllare le avvertenze per la cura sull'eti-
chetta interna del capo di abbigliamento, sulla
quale è indicato se e a quale temperatura è
consigliabile stirarlo.

Durante il riscaldamento appoggiare sempre il
ferro sulla base 9.
Quando si appoggia il ferro sulla piastra di stiratura q durante il riscaldamento e non lo si muove,
dopo 30 secondi viene attivato lo spegnimento automatico (vedere capitolo "Spegnimento automatico") e l'apparecchio interrompe il riscaldamento.
La spia di controllo 0 del tipo di stoffa impostato
inizia a lampeggiare. Non appena la spia di controllo 0 del tipo di stoffa impostato rimane accesa
permanentemente e viene emesso un segnale
acustico, ciò significa che è stata raggiunta la
temperatura impostata.
■ Attendere fino a quando la spia di controllo 0
del tipo di stoffa impostato non rimane accesa
permanentemente e non viene emesso un segnale acustico. Ora è possibile iniziare a stirare.
■ Per umidificare la biancheria premere il tasto
per la funzione di spruzzatura
fuoriesce acqua nebulizzata dallo spruzzatore
dell'acqua 1.
Questa funzione è adatta a tessuti molto asciutti e
stropicciati.

Grazie al sensore tattile integrato nell'impugnatura,
il ferro da stiro riconosce se lo si sta tenendo in
mano.
■ Se il regolatore della temperatura 6 è ruotato
in modo da rientrare nel campo di regolazione
rosso
ed è impostata una potenza di vapore,
viene emesso vapore continuo finché si tocca il
campo del sensore tattile 7.
■ Se il campo del sensore tattile 7 non viene
toccato, il ferro da stiro blocca automaticamente
la produzione di vapore.
■ Non appena il ferro da stiro viene ripreso in
mano, la produzione di vapore riprende.

Stiratura con getto di vapore
Il getto di vapore è adatto in particolare a lisciare
zone del tessuto difficilmente accessibili.

■ Staccare la spina dalla presa di corrente.
■ Svuotare il serbatoio dell'acqua e pulire la
piastra di stiratura q.
■ Collocare il ferro da stiro a vapore raffreddato
sulla base 9.
■ Sollevare leggermente il ferro da stiro a vapore.
■ Per generare un getto di vapore premere una
volta il tasto per il getto di vapore

Funzione antigoccia
Nei tradizionali ferri da stiro a vapore si può
verificare che, ad una temperatura troppo ridotta,
sgoccioli acqua dalla piastra di stiratura q. Questo ferro da stiro presenta una nuova caratteristica,
la funzione ANTIGOCCIA (
di basse temperature il ferro da stiro arresta automaticamente il getto di vapore.
Impostare la giusta temperatura di stiratura con il
regolatore della temperatura 6. Al raggiungimento della temperatura appropriata, la produzione
del vapore prosegue.

Spegnimento automatico
Il ferro da stiro è dotato di un dispositivo di disattivazione automatica che arresta il riscaldamento
del ferro da stiro.
Se il ferro da stiro si trova sulla piastra di stiratura q
e per circa 30 secondi non viene mosso, si avvertono
segnali di avviso e la spia di controllo AUTO OFF 0
lampeggia. Il riscaldamento del ferro da stiro viene
arrestato. Per interrompere il processo di disattivazione automatica, sollevare il ferro da stiro e agitarlo
leggermente. La spia di controllo AUTO OFF 0 si
spegne e il ferro da stiro si riscalda di nuovo.
Se il ferro da stiro si trova sulla base 9 e non viene
mosso per circa un minuto, si avvertono segnali di
avviso e la spia di controllo AUTO OFF 0 lampeggia. Il riscaldamento del ferro da stiro viene arrestato. Per interrompere il processo di disattivazione
automatica, sollevare il ferro da stiro e agitarlo
leggermente. La spia di controllo AUTO OFF 0 si
spegne e il ferro da stiro si riscalda di nuovo.
NOTA
La disattivazione automatica non sostituisce
l'estrazione della spina dalla presa! Essa serve
solo per ridurre il pericolo di incendi se il ferro
da stiro viene spento accidentalmente!
Pulizia
Funzione di autopulizia
■ Riempire il serbatoio dell'acqua fino al contras-
segno "MAX".
■ Inserire la spina di rete nella presa di rete.
■ Portare il regolatore della temperatura 6 alla
posizione "MAX".
■ Con il tasto per la quantità di vapore 5 impo-
stare il livello di vapore 3.
■ Far riscaldare il ferro da stiro a vapore finché
la spia di controllo "LINEN" 0 non si accende
permanentemente.
■ Tenere il ferro da stiro in posizione orizzontale
sopra una vaschetta di raccolta.
NOTA
Se si hanno mani sensibili alle alte temperature,
si consiglia di indossare guanti da cucina. Durante la pulizia si sviluppa del vapore bollente.
■ Premere il tasto autopulizia w e tenerlo premuto.
Muovere il ferro da stiro leggermente avanti e
indietro.
Durante questo processo, dai fori di fuoriuscita del
vapore che si trovano sulla piastra di stiratura q
fuoriescono vapore e acqua bollente. In tal modo
le impurità e il calcare eventualmente presenti
vengono sciacquati via.
■ Rilasciare il tasto Selfclean w non appena
l'acqua nel serbatoio si è esaurita.
■ Pulire accuratamente la piastra di stiratura q.
A questo scopo far scivolare ripetutamente
avanti e indietro la piastra di stiratura q su un
asciugamano o su un vecchio pezzo di stoffa.
■ Fare raffreddare il ferro da stiro prima di metterlo
via.
Alloggiamento e piastra di stiratura
PERICOLO DI MORTE!
► Prima di pulire, staccare sempre la spina
dalla presa di corrente. Sussiste il pericolo di
scossa elettrica!
PERICOLO DI LESIONI!
► Fare raffreddare l'apparecchio prima della
pulizia. In caso contrario sussiste il rischio di
ustione!
ATTENZIONE! PERICOLO DI DANNI
MATERIALI!
► Non utilizzare detergenti aggressivi, abrasivi
o chimici. Questi detergenti potrebbero
danneggiare la superficie e provocare danni
irreparabili all'apparecchio.
■ Pulire l'alloggiamento esclusivamente con un
panno morbido e asciutto.
■ Pulire la piastra di stiratura q con un panno
leggermente inumidito con acqua e un detergente delicato, non abrasivo.
■ Asciugare bene l'apparecchio prima di riutiliz-
zarlo.

Conservazione
Riporre l'apparecchio raffreddato in un luogo
asciutto, pulito e privo di polvere.
Eliminazione dei
malfunzionamenti
Il ferro da stiro a vapore non emette
alcun vapore o ne emette solo una
quantità molto ridotta:
La riserva di acqua corrente/acqua distillata del
ferro da stiro a vapore è esaurita. Riempire il serbatoio dell'acqua (vedi "Riempimento del serbatoio
dell'acqua").
Il ferro da stiro a vapore non si riscalda:
■ Il ferro da stiro non è collegato o non è acceso.
Inserire la spina nella presa di corrente e impostare con il regolatore della temperatura 6 la
temperatura desiderata.
■ Il ferro da stiro a vapore è guasto. Fare riparare
il ferro da stiro a vapore solo da personale
specializzato qualificato.
■ Il campo del sensore tattile 7 non viene tocca-
to. Prendere in mano il ferro da stiro.
Smaltimento
Non gettare per alcun motivo
l'apparecchio insieme ai normali
rifiuti domestici. Questo prodotto
è conforme alla Direttiva europea 2012/19/EU.
Far smaltire l'apparecchio da un'azienda di
smaltimento autorizzata o dall'ente di smaltimento
comunale.
Rispettare le norme attualmente in vigore. In caso
di dubbi mettersi in contatto con l'ente di smaltimento competente.
Smaltire l’imballaggio conformemente
alle norme di tutela ambientale.
Tenere conto dei codici presenti sui vari
materiali di imballaggivo ed eventualmente separare i materiali effettuando
una raccolta differenziata. I materiali
d’imballaggio presentano codici costituiti
da abbreviazioni (a) e numeri (b) con il
seguente significato:
1–7: materie plastiche
20–22: carta e cartone
80–98: materiali compositi

Smaltire tutti i materiali dell'imballaggio
in modo ecologicamente compatibile
Per lo smaltimento del prodotto una volta
che ha terminato la sua funzione,
informarsi presso l’amministrazione
comunale o municipale.

Questo apparecchio ha una garanzia di 3 anni
dalla data di acquisto. Qualora questo prodotto
presentasse vizi, Le spettano diritti legali nei confronti
del venditore del prodotto. La garanzia qui di seguito
descritta non costituisce alcun limite a tali diritti legali.
Condizioni di garanzia
Il periodo di garanzia decorre dalla data dell’acquisto.
Si prega di conservare lo scontrino di cassa originale.
Tale documento è necessario come prova di acquisto.
Qualora entro tre anni a partire dalla data
dell’acquisto di questo prodotto si presentasse un
vizio del materiale o di fabbricazione, provvederemo, a nostra discrezione, a riparare o a sostituire
gratuitamente il prodotto. Questa prestazione di
garanzia ha come presupposto che l’apparecchio
difettoso e la prova di acquisto (scontrino di cassa)
vengano presentati entro il termine di tre anni e
che si descriva per iscritto in cosa consiste il vizio e
quando si è presentato.
Se il vizio rientra nell’ambito della nostra garanzia,
il Suo prodotto verrà riparato o sostituito da uno
nuovo. Con la riparazione o la sostituzione del prodotto non decorre un nuovo periodo di garanzia.
Periodo di garanzia e diritti legali di
rivendicazione di vizi
Il periodo di garanzia non viene prolungato da interventi in garanzia. Ciò vale anche per le parti sostituite
e riparate. Danni e vizi eventualmente già presenti
al momento dell’acquisto devono venire segnalati
immediatamente dopo che l’apparecchio è stato disimballato. Le riparazioni eseguite dopo la scadenza
del periodo di garanzia sono a pagamento.
Ambito della garanzia
L’apparecchio è stato prodotto con cura secondo
severe direttive qualitative e debitamente collaudato
prima della consegna.
La garanzia viene prestata in caso di vizi del
materiale o di fabbricazione. Questa garanzia non
si estende a componenti del prodotto che sono
esposti al normale logorio e possono pertanto essere
considerati come componenti soggetti a usura o a
danni che si verificano su componenti delicati, per
es. interruttori, batterie, stampi da forno o parti
realizzate in vetro.
Questa garanzia decade se il prodotto è stato
danneggiato oppure utilizzato o sottoposto a
interventi di manutenzione in modo non conforme.
Per un utilizzo adeguato del prodotto si devono
rigorosamente rispettare tutte le istruzioni esposte
nel manuale di istruzioni per l’uso. Si devono assolutamente evitare modalità di utilizzo e azioni che
il manuale di istruzioni per l’uso sconsiglia o da cui
esso mette in guardia.

They contain important information about safety,
usage and disposal. Before using the product, please
familiarise yourself with all operating and safety
instructions. Use the product only as described and

Intended use
The steam iron is intended exclusively for the ironing
of textiles. The iron may only be used indoors and
in domestic households. All other use is deemed to
be improper use. It is not suitable for commercial
use!

Safety information
RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK!
► The voltage of the power source must conform to the details given
on the type plate of the appliance.
► To avoid potential risks, arrange for a defective appliance to be
checked and, if required, repaired by qualified technicians, or
contact our Customer Service Department.
► Arrange for defective power plugs and/or cables to be replaced
as soon as possible by a qualified technician or by our Customer
Service Department to avoid the risk of injury.
► When disconnecting the appliance from the power source, pull
only on the plug itself, never on the cable.
► Never bend (kink) or crush the power cable, always route it in
such a way that it cannot come into contact with hot surfaces and
such that no one can step on or trip over it.
► Remove the plug from the mains power socket after every usage,
before cleaning the appliance and when refilling the appliance
with water.
► Always unwind the power cable fully before switching on and do
not use an extension cable.
► Never touch the power cable or the plug with wet hands.
► Never use the steam iron adjacent to water contained in a bath,
shower, wash basin or other vessels. The proximity of water is
hazardous, even if the appliance is switched off.
► Under no circumstances should you immerse the steam iron in
any liquid or permit liquids to penetrate into the housing of the
steam iron. Do not expose the appliance to humidity and do not
use it outdoors. If any liquid gets into the housing, disconnect the
appliance from the mains power socket immediately and have it
repaired by a qualified technician.
► Do not open the steam iron housing. Have a defective steam iron
repaired only by an authorised technician.

► Do not use the appliance if it shows visible signs of damage, has
fallen or leaks water. Arrange for it to be repaired by qualified
specialists.
► Stop using the appliance if the anti-kink protection on the power
cable is damaged!
► This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years or more
and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge if they are supervised, or have been instructed in the safe use of the appliance
and have understood the potential risks. Do not allow children to
use the appliance as a plaything. Cleaning and user maintenance
may not be carried out by children unless they are supervised.

► Hold the steam iron only by the handle when it is hot.
► Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
► Never place your hands in the steam spray or on hot metal parts.
► Do not open the filler opening for the water tank while the iron
is in use. Allow the steam iron to cool down first and remove the
plug from the power socket.
► The iron and its connecting cable must be kept out of the reach
of children under the age of 8 while the iron is switched on or
cooling down.

► Never leave a hot steam iron unattended if it is switched on or
connected to the mains power supply.
► Do not put the steam iron away until it has cooled down com-
pletely.
► The steam iron should only be used and set down on stable
surfaces.
► Use only the ironing temperatures stated in the care instructions
as suitable for the material. Otherwise, you could damage the
textiles. If you do not know the correct care instructions, start with
the lowest temperature setting.
► Place the iron only on a level and heat-resistant surface. The iron
must be stable.
► When you put the steam iron down, always place it on its base.
CAUTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► If the clothing care instructions forbid ironing, ( symbol), the
clothing item may not be ironed. Ignoring this warning could lead
to permanent damage to the clothing item.
► The water tank should be filled only with tap water or distilled
water. Otherwise you will damage the steam iron.
► Do not clean the steam iron with solvents, alcohol or abrasive
cleaning agents. These could damage it.

Before first use
■ Remove the steam iron from the packaging.
■ Remove all stickers and protective films from the
steam iron and the sole of the iron q.
RISK OF SUFFOCATION!
► Plastic bags can be dangerous. To avoid fa-
talities through suffocation, keep plastic bags
out of the reach of children.
■ Fill the water tank with water (See the chapter
"Filling the water tank").
■ Insert the plug into a mains power socket supply-
ing an electrical current as detailed on the rating
plate.
■ Move the temperature control 6 to the "MAX"
position.
■ Wait for the iron to heat up until you hear a
beep.
■ Pick up the iron and press the steam blast button
4 a few times so that steam comes out of
the sole of the iron q.
■ Then iron over a piece of old piece of material
to remove any residues that may remain on the
sole of the iron q.
Filling the water tank
■ Hold the iron in your hand at an angle.
■ Open the cover of the filler opening for the
water tank 2. This is marked with
■ Use the measuring beaker e to add tap water/
distilled water to the water tank up to no more
than the "MAX" marking that you can see
through the filler opening to the water tank 2.
■ Close the cover of the filler opening for the
water tank 2.
NOTE
If the mains water in your location is rated as
hard, it is recommended that you mix the mains
water with some distilled water. Otherwise, the
jets for the steam blast function could become
blocked with limescale prematurely.
To extend the optimal steam blast function, mix
mains water with distilled water according to the
table:

'recognise' whether you are holding it in your hand.

Drip-Stop function
With conventional steam irons, water can drip from
the sole of the iron q at low temperatures. This
iron however possesses a new feature, the DRIP-
STOP function (
the iron automatically switches off the steam-blast
function.

production is resumed.

There is a descaling cartridge in the water tank that
helps reduce the build-up of limescale.
This descaling cartridge is a permanent fixture in
the water tank and cannot be replaced.

Automatic switch-off
This steam iron is fitted with an automatic switch-off
system. This stops the iron from heating up.
If the iron is resting on its sole q and is not moved
for about 30 seconds, there will be a warning
beep and the AUTO OFF control lamp 0 flashes.
The iron will stop heating up. To deactivate the automatic switch-off, lift up the iron and move it gently
from side to side. The AUTO OFF control lamp 0
goes out and the iron will heat up again.
If the iron is on its base 9 and is not moved for
about 1 minute, there will be a warning beep and
the AUTO OFF control lamp 0 flashes. The iron
will stop heating up. To deactivate the automatic
switch-off, lift up the iron and move it gently from
side to side. The AUTO OFF control lamp 0 goes
out and the iron will heat up again.
NOTE
The automatic switch-off is not intended as a
substitute for removing the plug from the mains
power! This is merely intended to reduce the fire
hazard if you forget to switch off the iron!
Cleaning
Self-cleaning function
■ Fill the water tank to the "MAX" marking.
■ Insert the plug into the mains power socket.
■ Move the temperature control 6 to the "MAX"
position.
■ Use the steam quantity button 5 to select steam
level 3.
■ Allow the steam iron to heat up until the control
lamp "LINEN" 0 lights up permanently.
■ Hold the steam iron horizontally over a suitable
container.
NOTE
If your hands are sensitive to heat, wear oven
gloves. Hot steam escapes during cleaning.
■ Press the self-clean button w and keep it
pressed. Move the steam iron back and forth a
little.
Steam and boiling water will flow from the
steam exit holes in the sole of the iron q. Any
impurities and limescale that may be present are
flushed out.
■ Release the self-clean button w as soon as all
of the water in the water tank is used up.
■ Dry the sole of the iron q thoroughly. To do
this, move the sole of the iron q back and forth
several times over a towel or an old piece of
material.
■ Allow the steam iron to cool down before putting
it away.

► Always remove the plug before cleaning the
appliance. There is a risk of electric shock!

► Allow the appliance to cool down before
cleaning it. Otherwise, there is a risk of burns!
CAUTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► Do not use aggressive, abrasive or chemi-
cal cleaning agents. They can damage the
surface and also lead to irreparable damage
to the appliance.
■ Clean the housing with a soft, dry cloth only.
■ Clean the sole of the iron q using a damp cloth
and a mild, non-scouring detergent.
■ Dry the appliance well before using it again.
Storage
Store the cooled-down appliance in a clean, dustfree and dry location.

Troubleshooting
The steam iron blasts out no steam/very
little steam:
The reserves of tap water/distilled water in the
steam iron are depleted. Fill the water tank (See
"Filling the water tank").
The steam iron does not get hot:
■ The steam iron is not plugged in or is not
switched on. Insert the plug into a wall power
socket and adjust the temperature control 6
to the desired ironing temperature.
■ The steam iron is defective. Arrange for the steam
iron to be repaired by qualified specialists.
■ You are not touching the touch sensor field 7.
Pick up the iron.
Disposal
Never dispose of the appliance
in your normal domestic waste.
This product is subject to the
provisions of European Directive

Dispose of the appliance through an approved
disposal centre or at your community waste facility.
Please observe the currently applicable regulations. Please contact your waste disposal centre if

Dear Customer,
This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from
the date of purchase. If this product has any faults,
you, the buyer, have certain statutory rights. Your
statutory rights are not restricted in any way by the
warranty described below.
Warranty conditions
The validity period of the warranty starts from the
date of purchase. Please keep your original receipt
in a safe place. This document will be required as
proof of purchase.
If any material or production fault occurs within
three years of the date of purchase of the product,
we will either repair or replace the product for you
at our discretion. This warranty service is dependent on you presenting the defective appliance and
the proof of purchase (receipt) and a short written
description of the fault and its time of occurrence.
If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product
will either be repaired or replaced by us. The repair
or replacement of a product does not signify the
beginning of a new warranty period.
Warranty period and statutory claims for
defects
The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs
effected under the warranty. This also applies to
replaced and repaired components. Any damage
and defects present at the time of purchase must
be reported immediately after unpacking. Repairs
carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall
be subject to a fee.
Scope of the warranty
This appliance has been manufactured in accordance
with strict quality guidelines and inspected meticulously prior to delivery.
The warranty covers material faults or production
faults. The warranty does not extend to product parts
subject to normal wear and tear or fragile parts such
as switches, batteries, baking moulds or parts made
of glass.
The warranty does not apply if the product has been
damaged, improperly used or improperly maintained.
The directions in the operating instructions for the
product regarding proper use of the product are
to be strictly followed. Uses and actions that are
discouraged in the operating instructions or which
are warned against must be avoided.
This product is intended solely for private use and
not for commercial purposes. The warranty shall be
deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling,
use of force and modifications/repairs which have
not been carried out by one of our authorised

Sicherheitshinweise
GEFAHR DURCH ELEKTRISCHEN SCHLAG!
► Die Spannung der Stromquelle muss mit den Angaben auf dem
Typenschild des Gerätes übereinstimmen.
► Lassen Sie ein defektes Gerät umgehend von einer qualifizierten
Fachwerkstatt instandsetzen oder wenden Sie sich an den Kundenservice, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
► Lassen Sie beschädigte Netzstecker oder Netzkabel sofort von
autorisiertem Fachpersonal oder dem Kundenservice austauschen, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
► Ziehen Sie immer nur am Netzstecker, niemals am Kabel.
► Knicken oder quetschen Sie das Netzkabel nicht und verlegen
Sie es so, dass es nicht in Kontakt mit heißen Oberflächen kommt
und niemand darauf treten oder darüber stolpern kann.
► Ziehen Sie vor dem Reinigen, beim Auffüllen mit Wasser und
nach jedem Gebrauch den Netzstecker.
► Rollen Sie das Netzkabel vor dem Einschalten immer vollständig
ab und verwenden Sie keine Verlängerungskabel.
► Fassen Sie das Kabel oder den Netzstecker niemals mit feuchten
Händen an.
► Benutzen Sie das Dampfbügeleisen keinesfalls in der Nähe von
Wasser, das in Badewannen, Duschen, Waschbecken oder
anderen Gefäßen enthalten ist. Die Nähe von Wasser stellt eine
Gefahr dar, auch wenn das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist.
► Sie dürfen das Dampfbügeleisen keinesfalls in eine Flüssigkeit
tauchen und keine Flüssigkeiten in das Gerätegehäuse des
Dampfbügeleisens gelangen lassen. Sie dürfen das Gerät keiner
Feuchtigkeit aussetzen und nicht im Freien benutzen. Falls doch

► Lassen Sie das heiße, am Stromnetz angeschlossene oder einge-
schaltete Dampfbügeleisen niemals unbeaufsichtigt.
► Verstauen Sie das Dampfbügeleisen nur im abgekühlten Zustand.
► Das Dampfbügeleisen muss auf einer stabilen Oberfläche benutzt
und abgestellt werden.
► Bügeln Sie nur mit den auf den Pflegehinweisen angegebenen
und für das Material geeigneten Temperatureinstellungen. Sie
können die Wäsche andernfalls beschädigen. Falls Sie keine
Pflegehinweise kennen, beginnen Sie mit der niedrigsten Temperatureinstellung.

Vor dem ersten Gebrauch
■ Entnehmen Sie das Dampfbügeleisen aus der
Verpackung.
■ Entfernen Sie alle Aufkleber und Folienteile vom
Dampfbügeleisen und der Bügelsohle q.
ERSTICKUNGSGEFAHR!
► Plastiktüten können eine Gefahr darstellen. Um
Erstickungsgefahr zu vermeiden, bewahren
Sie die Plastiktüten außerhalb der Reichweite
von Babys und Kleinkindern auf.
■ Füllen Sie Wasser in den Wassertank (siehe
Kapitel „Wassertank befüllen“).
■ Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Netzsteck-
dose, die der auf dem Typenschild angegebenen Spannung entspricht.
■ Stellen Sie den Temperaturregler 6 in die
Position „MAX“.
■ Lassen Sie das Bügeleisen aufheizen, bis ein
Signalton erklingt.
■ Nehmen Sie das Bügeleisen in die Hand und
betätigen Sie die Taste für den Dampfstoß
4 einige Male, so dass Dampf aus der
Bügelsohle q austritt.
■ Bügeln Sie dann ein nicht mehr benötigtes Stück
Stoff, um eventuelle Unreinheiten von der Bügelsohle q zu beseitigen.
Wassertank befüllen
■ Halten Sie das Bügeleisen schräg in der Hand.
■ Öffnen Sie den Deckel der Einfüllöffnung für den
Wassertank 2. Dieser ist mit
net.
■ Füllen Sie mit dem Messbecher e Leitungs-
wasser/destilliertes Wasser bis höchstens zur
„MAX“-Markierung, die Sie in der Einfüllöffnung
für den Wassertank 2 sehen, in den Wassertank.
■ Schließen Sie den Deckel der Einfüllöffnung für
den Wassertank 2.
HINWEIS
Sollte das Leitungswasser Ihres Wohnortes zu
hart sein, empfiehlt es sich, das Leitungswasser
mit destilliertem Wasser zu mischen. Ansonsten
können die Düsen für die Dampfstoß-Funktion
vorzeitig verkalken.
Zur Verlängerung der optimalen DampfstoßFunktion mischen Sie das Leitungswasser mit
destilliertem Wasser entsprechend der Tabelle:

Stellen Sie das Bügeleisen während des Aufheizens immer auf den Sockel 9.
Wenn Sie das Bügeleisen während des
Aufheizens auf die Bügelsohle q stellen und
nicht bewegen, wird nach 30 Sekunden die
automatische Abschaltung aktiviert (siehe Kapitel
“Automatische Abschaltung”) und das Gerät
stoppt das Heizen.
Die Kontrollleuchte 0 der eingestellten Stoffart
beginnt zu blinken. Sobald die Kontrollleuchte 0
der eingestellten Stoffart dauerhaft leuchtet und ein
Signalton erklingt, ist die eingestellte Temperatur
erreicht.
■ Warten Sie, bis die Kontrollleuchte 0 der
eingestellten Stoffart dauerhaft leuchtet und ein
Signalton ertönt. Sie können dann anfangen zu
bügeln.
■ Zum Befeuchten der Wäsche drücken Sie auf
die Taste für die Sprühfunktion
nebel tritt aus der Wasserdüse 1 aus.
Diese Funktion ist für sehr trockene, stark knittrige
Wäsche geeignet.

Bei herkömmlichen Dampfbügeleisen kann es
vorkommen, dass bei zu geringer Bügeltemperatur
Wasser aus der Bügelsohle q tropft. Dieses Bügeleisen weist jedoch ein neues Ausstattungsmerkmal,
die TROPF-STOP-Funktion auf (
Bügeleisen schaltet den Dampfstoß bei niedrigen
Temperaturen automatisch ab.
Stellen Sie dann mit dem Temperaturregler 6 die
geeignete Temperatur ein. Sobald diese erreicht ist,
wird die Dampferzeugung fortgesetzt.

Im Wassertank befindet sich eine Anti-Kalk-Kartusche, um Kalkablagerungen zu reduzieren.
Die Anti-Kalk-Kartusche ist ein fester Bestandteil im
Wassertank und kann nicht ersetzt werden.

Automatische Abschaltung
Das Bügeleisen ist mit einer automatischen Abschaltung ausgestattet. Diese stoppt das Heizen
des Bügeleisens.
Wenn das Bügeleisen auf der Bügelsohle q steht
und es für ca. 30 Sekunden nicht bewegt wird,
erklingen Warnsignale und die Kontrollleuchte
AUTO OFF 0 blinkt. Das Heizen des Bügeleisens
wird gestoppt. Um die automatische Abschaltung
zu deaktivieren, heben Sie das Bügeleisen an und
schwenken Sie es leicht hin und her. Die Kontrollleuchte AUTO OFF 0 erlischt und das Bügeleisen
heizt wieder auf.
Wenn das Bügeleisen auf dem Sockel 9 steht und
es für ca. eine Minute nicht bewegt wird, erklingen Warnsignale und die Kontrollleuchte AUTO
OFF 0 blinkt. Das Heizen des Bügeleisens wird
gestoppt. Um die automatische Abschaltung zu
deaktivieren, heben Sie das Bügeleisen an und
schwenken Sie es leicht hin und her. Die Kontrollleuchte AUTO OFF 0 erlischt und das Bügeleisen
heizt wieder auf.
HINWEIS
Die automatische Abschaltung ersetzt nicht das
Ziehen des Netzsteckers! Sie dient lediglich der
Reduzierung der Brandgefahr, wenn das Bügeleisen versehentlich nicht ausgeschaltet wird!
Reinigen
Selbstreinigungs-Funktion
■ Füllen Sie den Wassertank bis zur Markierung
„MAX“.
■ Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in die Netzsteckdose.
■ Stellen Sie den Temperaturregler 6 auf Position
„MAX“.
■ Stellen Sie mit der Taste für die Dampfmenge 5
die Dampfstufe 3 ein.
■ Lassen Sie das Dampfbügeleisen aufheizen,
bis die Kontrollleuchte "LINEN" 0 dauerhaft
leuchtet.
■ Halten Sie das Dampfbügeleisen waagerecht
über eine Auffangschüssel.
HINWEIS
Wenn Sie hitzeempfindliche Hände haben, ziehen Sie Topfhandschuhe an. Heißer Dampf steigt
während der Reinigung auf.
■ Drücken Sie die Taste Selfclean w und halten
Sie diese gedrückt. Bewegen Sie das Dampfbügeleisen dabei ein wenig hin und her.
Dampf und kochendes Wasser tritt aus den
Dampfaustrittslöchern in der Bügelsohle q aus.
Eventuell vorhandene Verunreinigungen und
Kalk werden dabei herausgespült.
■ Lassen Sie die Taste Selfclean w los, sobald
das Wasser im Wassertank aufgebraucht ist.
■ Trocknen Sie die Bügelsohle q gründlich.
Führen Sie dazu die Bügelsohle q einige Male
über ein Handtuch oder altes Stück Stoff hin
und her.
■ Lassen Sie das Dampfbügeleisen abkühlen,
bevor Sie es zur Seite stellen.
Gehäuse und Bügelsohle
LEBENSGEFAHR!
► Ziehen Sie vor der Reinigung den Netzstecker.
Es besteht die Gefahr eines elektrischen
Schlages!

► Lassen Sie das Gerät vor dem Reinigen abküh-

► Benutzen Sie keine aggressiven, scheuernden
oder chemischen Reinigungsmittel. Diese
können die Oberfläche angreifen und zu
irreparablen Schäden am Gerät führen.
■ Reinigen Sie das Gehäuse nur mit einem wei-
chen, trockenen Tuch.
■ Reinigen Sie die Bügelsohle q mit einem leicht
mit Wasser befeuchteten Tuch und einem milden,
nicht scheuernden Reinigungsmittel.
■ Trocknen Sie das Gerät vor einer erneuten
Benutzung vollständig ab.

Aufbewahren
Bewahren Sie das abgekühlte Gerät an einem
sauberen, staubfreien und trockenen Ort auf.
Fehlfunktionen beseitigen
Das Dampfbügeleisen stößt keinen oder
sehr wenig Dampf aus:
Der Vorrat an Leitungswasser/destilliertem Wasser
im Dampfbügeleisen ist erschöpft. Füllen Sie den
Wassertank (siehe „Wassertank befüllen“).
Das Dampfbügeleisen erhitzt sich nicht:
■ Das Bügeleisen ist nicht angeschlossen oder
nicht eingeschaltet. Stecken Sie den Netzstecker
in die Netzsteckdose und stellen mit dem Temperaturregler 6 die gewünschte Temperatur ein.
■ Das Dampfbügeleisen ist defekt. Lassen Sie das
Dampfbügeleisen von qualifiziertem Fachpersonal reparieren.
■ Sie berühren das Touchsensor-Feld 7 nicht.
Nehmen Sie das Bügeleisen in die Hand.
Entsorgung
Werfen Sie das Gerät keines-
falls in den normalen Hausmüll.
Dieses Produkt unterliegt der
europäischen Richtlinie
2012/19/EU.
Entsorgen Sie das Gerät über einen zugelassenen
Entsorgungsbetrieb oder über Ihre kommunale
Entsorgungseinrichtung.

Sie erhalten auf dieses Gerät 3 Jahre Garantie ab
Kaufdatum. Im Falle von Mängeln dieses Produkts
stehen Ihnen gegen den Verkäufer des Produkts
gesetzliche Rechte zu. Diese gesetzlichen Rechte
werden durch unsere im Folgenden dargestellte
Garantie nicht eingeschränkt.
Garantiebedingungen
Die Garantiefrist beginnt mit dem Kaufdatum. Bitte

Tritt innerhalb von drei Jahren ab dem Kaufdatum

Kaufbeleg (Kassenbon) vorgelegt und schriftlich
kurz beschrieben wird, worin der Mangel besteht
und wann er aufgetreten ist.
Wenn der Defekt von unserer Garantie gedeckt ist,
erhalten Sie das reparierte oder ein neues Produkt
zurück. Mit Reparatur oder Austausch des Produkts
beginnt kein neuer Garantiezeitraum.
Garantiezeit und gesetzliche
Mängelansprüche
Die Garantiezeit wird durch die Gewährleistung
nicht verlängert. Dies gilt auch für ersetzte und
reparierte Teile. Eventuell schon beim Kauf vorhandene Schäden und Mängel müssen sofort nach
dem Auspacken gemeldet werden. Nach Ablauf
der Garantiezeit anfallende Reparaturen sind
kostenpflichtig.
Garantieumfang
Das Gerät wurde nach strengen Qualitätsrichtlinien
sorgfältig produziert und vor Auslieferung gewissenhaft geprüft.
Die Garantieleistung gilt für Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler. Diese Garantie erstreckt sich nicht auf
Produktteile, die normaler Abnutzung ausgesetzt
sind und daher als Verschleißteile angesehen werden
können oder für Beschädigungen an zerbrechlichen
Teilen, z. B. Schalter, Akkus, Backformen oder Teile,
die aus Glas gefertigt sind.
Diese Garantie verfällt, wenn das Produkt beschädigt, nicht sachgemäß benutzt oder gewartet wurde.
Für eine sachgemäße Benutzung des Produkts sind
alle in der Bedienungsanleitung aufgeführten Anweisungen genau einzuhalten. Verwendungszwecke
und Handlungen, von denen in der Bedienungsanleitung abgeraten oder vor denen gewarnt wird,
sind unbedingt zu vermeiden.
Das Produkt ist nur für den privaten und nicht für den
gewerblichen Gebrauch bestimmt. Bei missbräuchlicher und unsachgemäßer Behandlung, Gewaltanwendung und bei Eingriffen, die nicht von unserer
autorisierten Service-Niederlassung vorgenommen
wurden, erlischt die Garantie.
