Congratulations on the purchase of your new
appliance.

You have selected a high-quality product.
The operating instructions are part of this product.
They contain important information about safety,
usage and disposal. Before using the product, please
familiarise yourself with all operating and safety
instructions. Use the product only as described and
for the range of applications specified. Please also
pass these operating instructions on to any future
owner.

Intended use

The steam iron is intended exclusively for the ironing
of textiles. The iron may only be used indoors and
in domestic households. All other use is deemed to
be improper use. It is not suitable for commercial
use!

Safety information

RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK!

► The voltage of the power source must conform to the details given

on the type plate of the appliance.

► To avoid potential risks, arrange for a defective appliance to be

checked and, if required, repaired by qualified technicians, or
contact our Customer Service Department.

► Arrange for defective power plugs and/or cables to be replaced

as soon as possible by a qualified technician or by our Customer
Service Department to avoid the risk of injury.

► When disconnecting the appliance from the power source, pull

only on the plug itself, never on the cable.

► Never bend (kink) or crush the power cable, always route it in

such a way that it cannot come into contact with hot surfaces and
such that no one can step on or trip over it.

► Remove the plug from the mains power socket after every usage,

before cleaning the appliance and when refilling the appliance
with water.

► Always unwind the power cable fully before switching on and do

not use an extension cable.

► Never touch the power cable or the plug with wet hands.
► Never use the steam iron adjacent to water contained in a bath,

shower, wash basin or other vessels. The proximity of water is
hazardous, even if the appliance is switched off.

► Under no circumstances should you immerse the steam iron in

any liquid or permit liquids to penetrate into the housing of the
steam iron. Do not expose the appliance to humidity and do not
use it outdoors. If any liquid gets into the housing, disconnect the
appliance from the mains power socket immediately and have it
repaired by a qualified technician.

► Do not open the steam iron housing. Have a defective steam iron

repaired only by an authorised technician.

► Do not use the appliance if it shows visible signs of damage, has

fallen or leaks water. Arrange for it to be repaired by qualified
specialists.

► Stop using the appliance if the anti-kink protection on the power

cable is damaged!

► This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years or more

and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capa­bilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge if they are super­vised, or have been instructed in the safe use of the appliance
and have understood the potential risks. Do not allow children to
use the appliance as a plaything. Cleaning and user maintenance
may not be carried out by children unless they are supervised.

RISK OF BURNS!

► Hold the steam iron only by the handle when it is hot.
► Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play

with the appliance.

► Never place your hands in the steam spray or on hot metal parts.
► Do not open the filler opening for the water tank while the iron

is in use. Allow the steam iron to cool down first and remove the
plug from the power socket.

► The iron and its connecting cable must be kept out of the reach

of children under the age of 8 while the iron is switched on or
cooling down.

► Never leave a hot steam iron unattended if it is switched on or

connected to the mains power supply.

► Do not put the steam iron away until it has cooled down com-

pletely.

► The steam iron should only be used and set down on stable

surfaces.

► Use only the ironing temperatures stated in the care instructions

as suitable for the material. Otherwise, you could damage the
textiles. If you do not know the correct care instructions, start with
the lowest temperature setting.

► Place the iron only on a level and heat-resistant surface. The iron

must be stable.

► When you put the steam iron down, always place it on its base.

CAUTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!

► If the clothing care instructions forbid ironing, ( symbol), the

clothing item may not be ironed. Ignoring this warning could lead
to permanent damage to the clothing item.

► The water tank should be filled only with tap water or distilled

water. Otherwise you will damage the steam iron.

► Do not clean the steam iron with solvents, alcohol or abrasive

cleaning agents. These could damage it.

Before first use

■ Remove the steam iron from the packaging.

■ Remove all stickers and protective films from the

steam iron and the sole of the iron -.

RISK OF SUFFOCATION!

► Plastic bags can be dangerous. To avoid fa-

talities through suffocation, keep plastic bags
out of the reach of children.

■ Fill the water tank with water (See the chapter

"Filling the water tank").

■ Insert the plug into a mains power socket supply-

ing an electrical current as detailed on the rating
plate.

■ Move the temperature control  to the "MAX"

position.

■ Wait for the iron to heat up until you hear a

beep.

■ Pick up the iron and press the steam blast button

 a few times so that steam comes out of

the sole of the iron -.

■ Then iron over a piece of old piece of material

to remove any residues that may remain on the
sole of the iron -.

Filling the water tank

■ Hold the iron in your hand at an angle.

■ Open the cover of the filler opening for the

water tank . This is marked with

■ Use the measuring beaker ! to add tap water/

distilled water to the water tank up to no more
than the "MAX" marking that you can see
through the filler opening to the water tank .

■ Close the cover of the filler opening for the

water tank .

NOTE

If the mains water in your location is rated as
hard, it is recommended that you mix the mains
water with some distilled water. Otherwise, the
jets for the steam blast function could become
blocked with limescale prematurely.

To extend the optimal steam blast function, mix
mains water with distilled water according to the

Plugging in and ironing

Dry ironing without steam is possible at all tem­peratures, steam ironing is only possible in the red

setting range

■ Insert the plug into a mains socket.

► If the clothing care instructions forbid ironing,

NOTE

While it is heating up, always place the iron on
its base .

If you place the iron down on its sole - and do
not move it, the automatic switch-off will be acti­vated after 30 seconds (see chapter "Automatic
switch-off") and the appliance stops heating.

The control lamp  for the set material type starts
flashing. As soon as set temperature has been
reached, the control lamp  for the set material
type lights up permanently and you hear a beep.

■ Wait until the control lamp  for the set material

Touch sensor (

The touch sensor in the handle allows the iron to
'recognise' whether you are holding it in your hand.

■ If the temperature control  is set in the red

setting range
steam will be produced as long as your hand is
in contact with the touch sensor field .

■ If there is no contact with the touch sensor

field , the iron will stop producing steam.

■ As soon as you pick up the iron again, steam

production will be resumed.

Ironing with steam blast

The steam blast function is especially suitable for
smoothing difficult-to-reach parts of a garment.

■ Raise the steam iron slightly.

■ For a steam blast, press the steam blast button

Drip-Stop function

With conventional steam irons, water can drip from
the sole of the iron - at low temperatures. This
iron however possesses a new feature, the DRIP-

STOP function (
the iron automatically switches off the steam-blast
function.

Then set a suitable temperature with the tempera­ture control . As soon as this is reached, steam
production is resumed.

There is a descaling cartridge in the water tank that
helps reduce the build-up of limescale.

This descaling cartridge is a permanent fixture in
the water tank and cannot be replaced.

Automatic switch-off

This steam iron is fitted with an automatic switch-off
system. This stops the iron from heating up.

If the iron is resting on its sole - and is not moved
for about 30 seconds, there will be a warning
beep and the AUTO OFF control lamp  flashes.
The iron will stop heating up. To deactivate the au­tomatic switch-off, lift up the iron and move it gently
from side to side. The AUTO OFF control lamp 
goes out and the iron will heat up again.

If the iron is on its base  and is not moved for
about 1 minute, there will be a warning beep and
the AUTO OFF control lamp  flashes. The iron
will stop heating up. To deactivate the automatic
switch-off, lift up the iron and move it gently from
side to side. The AUTO OFF control lamp  goes
out and the iron will heat up again.

NOTE

The automatic switch-off is not intended as a
substitute for removing the plug from the mains
power! This is merely intended to reduce the fire
hazard if you forget to switch off the iron!

Cleaning

Self-cleaning function

■ Fill the water tank to the "MAX" marking.

■ Insert the plug into the mains power socket.

■ Move the temperature control  to the "MAX"

position.

■ Use the steam quantity button  to select steam

level 3.

■ Allow the steam iron to heat up until the control

lamp "LINEN"  lights up permanently.

■ Hold the steam iron horizontally over a suitable

container.

NOTE

If your hands are sensitive to heat, wear oven
gloves. Hot steam escapes during cleaning.

■ Press the self-clean button 3 and keep it

pressed. Move the steam iron back and forth a
little.
Steam and boiling water will flow from the
steam exit holes in the sole of the iron -. Any
impurities and limescale that may be present are
flushed out.

■ Release the self-clean button 3 as soon as all

of the water in the water tank is used up.

■ Dry the sole of the iron - thoroughly. To do

this, move the sole of the iron - back and forth
several times over a towel or an old piece of
material.

■ Allow the steam iron to cool down before putting

it away.

► Always remove the plug before cleaning the

appliance. There is a risk of electric shock!

RISK OF INJURY!

► Allow the appliance to cool down before

cleaning it. Otherwise, there is a risk of burns!

CAUTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!

► Do not use aggressive, abrasive or chemi-

cal cleaning agents. They can damage the
surface and also lead to irreparable damage
to the appliance.

■ Clean the housing with a soft, dry cloth only.

■ Clean the sole of the iron - using a damp cloth

and a mild, non-scouring detergent.

■ Dry the appliance well before using it again.

Storage

Store the cooled-down appliance in a clean, dust­free and dry location.

Troubleshooting

The steam iron blasts out no steam/very
little steam:

The reserves of tap water/distilled water in the
steam iron are depleted. Fill the water tank (See
"Filling the water tank").

The steam iron does not get hot:

■ The steam iron is not plugged in or is not

switched on. Insert the plug into a wall power
socket and adjust the temperature control 
to the desired ironing temperature.

■ The steam iron is defective. Arrange for the steam

iron to be repaired by qualified specialists.

■ You are not touching the touch sensor field .

Pick up the iron.

Disposal

Never dispose of the appliance

in your normal domestic waste.
This product is subject to the
provisions of European Directive
2012/19/EU.

Dispose of the appliance through an approved
disposal centre or at your community waste facility.

Please observe the currently applicable regula­tions. Please contact your waste disposal centre if
you are in any doubt.

Dispose of all packaging materials in an

environmentally friendly manner.

Dear Customer,
This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from

the date of purchase. If this product has any faults,
you, the buyer, have certain statutory rights. Your
statutory rights are not restricted in any way by the
warranty described below.

Warranty conditions

The validity period of the warranty starts from the
date of purchase. Please keep your original receipt
in a safe place. This document will be required as
proof of purchase.

If any material or production fault occurs within
three years of the date of purchase of the product,
we will either repair or replace the product for you
at our discretion. This warranty service is depend­ent on you presenting the defective appliance and
the proof of purchase (receipt) and a short written
description of the fault and its time of occurrence.

If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product
will either be repaired or replaced by us. The repair
or replacement of a product does not signify the
beginning of a new warranty period.

Warranty period and statutory claims for
defects

The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs
effected under the warranty. This also applies to
replaced and repaired components. Any damage
and defects present at the time of purchase must
be reported immediately after unpacking. Repairs
carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall
be subject to a fee.

Scope of the warranty

This appliance has been manufactured in accordance
with strict quality guidelines and inspected meticu­lously prior to delivery.

The warranty covers material faults or production
faults. The warranty does not extend to product parts
subject to normal wear and tear or fragile parts such
as switches, batteries, baking moulds or parts made
of glass.

The warranty does not apply if the product has been
damaged, improperly used or improperly maintained.
The directions in the operating instructions for the
product regarding proper use of the product are
to be strictly followed. Uses and actions that are
discouraged in the operating instructions or which
are warned against must be avoided.

This product is intended solely for private use and
not for commercial purposes. The warranty shall be
deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling,
use of force and modifications/repairs which have
not been carried out by one of our authorised
Service centres.

To ensure quick processing of your case, please
observe the following instructions:

■ Please have the till receipt and the item number

(e.g. IAN 12345) available as proof of purchase.

■ You will find the item number on the type plate,

an engraving on the front page of the instructions
(bottom left), or as a sticker on the rear or bot­tom of the appliance.

■ If functional or other defects occur, please

contact the service department listed either by
telephone or by e-mail.

■ You can return a defective product to us free of

charge to the service address that will be provided
to you. Ensure that you enclose the proof of pur­chase (till receipt) and information about what
the defect is and when it occurred.

Εισαγωγή

Αποφασίσατε έτσι για την απόκτηση ενός προϊό­ντος υψηλής ποιότητας. Οι οδηγίες χρήσης αποτε­λούν τμήμα αυτού του προϊόντος. Περιλαμβάνουν
σημαντικές υποδείξεις για την ασφάλεια, τη χρήση

νοικοκυριά. Όλες οι άλλες χρήσεις ισχύουν ως μη
σύμφωνες με τους κανονισμούς. Μην το χρησιμο­ποιείτε για επαγγελματικό σκοπό!

Υποδείξεις ασφαλείας

ΚΙΝΔΥΝΟΣ ΗΛΕΚΤΡΟΠΛΗΞΙΑΣ!

► Η τάση της πηγής ρεύματος πρέπει να συμφωνεί με τις πληροφο-

ρίες επάνω στην πινακίδα τύπου της συσκευής.

► Η επισκευή μίας ελαττωματικής συσκευής πρέπει να γίνεται εγκαί-

ρως από ένα εξουσιοδοτημένο συνεργείο ή θα πρέπει να απευ­θύνεστε στην υπηρεσία εξυπηρέτησης πελατών για να αποφεύγε­τε κινδύνους.

► Τα βύσματα ή τα καλώδια που έχουν υποστεί βλάβη πρέπει να

αντικαθίστανται αμέσως από εξουσιοδοτημένο εξειδικευμένο
προσωπικό ή από το τμήμα εξυπηρέτησης πελατών, ώστε να
αποφεύγονται κίνδυνοι.

► Τραβάτε πάντα μόνο από το φις, ποτέ από το καλώδιο.
► Μην κάμπτετε ή συμπιέζετε το καλώδιο και τοποθετείτε το έτσι

ώστε να μην έρχεται σε επαφή με καυτές επιφάνειες και να μην
μπορεί κανείς να πατάει ή να σκοντάφτει επάνω σε αυτό.

► Τραβάτε το βύσμα από την πρίζα πριν από τον καθαρισμό, κατά

την πλήρωση με νερό και μετά από κάθε χρήση.

► Πριν από την ενεργοποίηση ξετυλίγετε πάντα εντελώς το καλώδιο

και μη χρησιμοποιείτε καλώδια επέκτασης.

► Ποτέ μην πιάνετε το καλώδιο ή το βύσμα με βρεγμένα χέρια.
► Σε καμία περίπτωση μη χρησιμοποιείτε το ατμοσίδερο κοντά σε

νερό, το οποίο βρίσκεται σε μπανιέρες, ντους, νιπτήρες ή σε
άλλα δοχεία. Υπάρχει κίνδυνος από την ύπαρξη νερού, ακόμα
και όταν η συσκευή είναι εκτός ρεύματος.

► Σε καμία περίπτωση δεν επιτρέπεται να βυθίζετε το ατμοσίδερο σε

υγρά και δεν επιτρέπεται να αφήνετε να εισχωρούν υγρά στο πε­ρίβλημά του. Απαγορεύεται η έκθεση της συσκευής σε υγρασία,
καθώς και η χρήση της σε εξωτερικούς χώρους. Στην περίπτωση

► Δεν επιτρέπεται να ανοίγετε το περίβλημα του ατμοσίδερου. Το

ελαττωματικό ατμοσίδερο επιτρέπεται να επισκευάζεται μόνο από
εξουσιοδοτημένο προσωπικό.

► Μη χρησιμοποιείτε το ατμοσίδερο σε καμία περίπτωση όταν έχει

εμφανείς φθορές, εάν έχει πέσει κάτω ή εάν τρέχει νερό. Πρέπει
πρώτα να γίνει επισκευή από εξουσιοδοτημένο προσωπικό.

► Μη συνεχίζετε τη χρήση της συσκευής, εάν η προστασία συστρο-

► Ποτέ μην αφήνετε ανεπιτήρητο ένα ατμοσίδερο, το οποίο είναι

συνδεδεμένο στο δίκτυο ρεύματος ή ενεργοποιημένο.

► Αποθηκεύετε το ατμοσίδερο μόνο εφόσον έχει κρυώσει.
► Το ατμοσίδερο πρέπει να χρησιμοποιείται και να τοποθετείται

επάνω σε μια σταθερή επιφάνεια.

► Σιδερώνετε μόνο σύμφωνα με τις κατάλληλες ρυθμίσεις θερμο-

κρασίας που αναφέρονται στις υποδείξεις περιποίησης και στο
υλικό υφάσματος. Σε διαφορετική περίπτωση, μπορεί να φθείρετε
τα ρούχα. Εάν δε γνωρίζετε τις υποδείξεις περιποίησης, τότε

► Τοποθετείτε το σίδερο μόνο επάνω σε μία επίπεδη και θερμανθε-

κτική επιφάνεια. Το σίδερο πρέπει να είναι σταθερό.

► Εάν θέλετε να αφήσετε το ατμοσίδερο, να το τοποθετείτε μόνο

επάνω στην υποδοχή.

► Εάν οι υποδείξεις περιποίησης στο ρούχο απαγορεύουν το σιδέ-

Σε διαφορετική περίπτωση, μπορεί να το καταστρέψετε.

► Επιτρέπεται να γεμίζετε το δοχείο νερού αποκλειστικά με νερό

βρύσης/αποσταγμένο νερό. Σε αντίθετη περίπτωση θα καταστρέ­ψετε το ατμοσίδερο.

► Δεν επιτρέπεται να καθαρίζετε το ατμοσίδερο με διαλυτικά μέσα,

■ Απομακρύνετε το ατμοσίδερο από τη συσκευ-

■ Απομακρύνετε όλα τα αυτοκόλλητα και τις

► Οι πλαστικές σακούλες μπορεί να είναι επι-

κίνδυνες. Για την αποφυγή κινδύνου ασφυ­ξίας, φυλάτε τις πλαστικές σακούλες εκτός
εμβέλειας των βρεφών και μικρών παιδιών.

■ Γεμίστε το δοχείο νερού με νερό (βλ. Κεφάλαιο

«Πλήρωση δοχείου νερού»).

■ Τοποθετήστε το βύσμα σε μία πρίζα που να

αντιστοιχεί στην αναγραφόμενη τάση στην
πινακίδα τύπου.

■ Θέστε το ρυθμιστή θερμοκρασίας  στη θέση

«MAX».

■ Αφήστε το σίδερο να ζεσταθεί, μέχρι να ακούσε-

τε ένα ηχητικό σήμα.

■ Πάρτε το σίδερο στο χέρι και πατήστε το πλή-

ύφασμα για να απομακρύνετε ενδεχόμενες

ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΗ

Εάν το νερό βρύσης της περιοχής σας είναι
πολύ σκληρό, προτείνεται να αναμείξετε το
νερό δικτύου με αποσταγμένο νερό. Αλλιώς τα
ακροφύσια ώθησης ατμού μπορεί να γεμίσουν
πρόωρα με άλατα.

Για την παράταση της άψογης λειτουργίας

Σύνδεση και σιδέρωμα

Στεγνό σιδέρωμα χωρίς ατμό είναι δυνατό σε όλες
τις θερμοκρασίες, σιδέρωμα με ατμό γίνεται από

το κόκκινο σημείο ρύθμισης

Η λυχνία ελέγχου  του ρυθμισμένου είδους υφά­σματος αρχίζει να αναβοσβήνει. Όταν η λυχνία

έχει επιτευχθεί η ρυθμισμένη θερμοκρασία.

■ Συνδέστε το βύσμα σε μια πρίζα δικτύου.

■ Για να υγράνετε τα πλυμένα ρούχα, πιέστε το

πλήκτρο λειτουργίας ψεκασμού . Νέφος
νερού εξέρχεται από το ακροφύσιο νερού .

Αυτή η λειτουργία ενδείκνυται για πολύ στεγνά και
τσαλακωμένα ρούχα.

Αισθητήρας αφής (

Μέσω του ενσωματωμένου αισθητήρα αφής στη
λαβή, το σίδερο αναγνωρίζει εάν το κρατάτε στο
χέρι.

■ Εάν ο ρυθμιστής θερμοκρασίας  έχει γυρίσει

μέχρι τον κόκκινο τομέα ρύθμισης
ρυθμιστεί ισχύς ατμού, δημιουργείται συνεχής
ατμός όσο υπάρχει επαφή με το πεδίο αισθητή­ρα αφής .

■ Εάν δεν υπάρχει επαφή με το πεδίο αισθητήρα

αφής , το σίδερο σταματάει αυτόματα τη
δημιουργία ατμού.

■ Μόλις πάρετε πάλι το σίδερο στο χέρι, συνεχίζε-

ται η δημιουργία ατμού.

Αυτόματη απενεργοποίηση

Το ατμοσίδερο είναι εξοπλισμένο με μια λειτουργία
αυτόματης απενεργοποίησης. Αυτή η λειτουργία
σταματάει τη θέρμανση του ατμοσίδερου.

Όταν το ατμοσίδερο βρίσκεται στον πάτο του
σίδερου - και δεν μετακινηθεί περ. για 30 δευ­τερόλεπτα, ακούγονται σήματα προειδοποίησης
και η λυχνία ελέγχου AUTO OFF  αναβοσβήνει.
Η θέρμανση του ατμοσίδερου σταματάει. Για να
απενεργοποιήσετε την αυτόματη απενεργοποίηση,
σηκώστε το ατμοσίδερο και κουνήστε το λίγο πέρα­δώθε. Η λυχνία ελέγχου AUTO OFF  σβήνει και
το σίδερο αρχίζει πάλι να ζεσταίνεται.

Όταν το σίδερο βρίσκεται στην υποδοχή  και
δεν μετακινηθεί περ. για ένα λεπτό, ακούγονται σή­ματα προειδοποίησης και η λυχνία ελέγχου AUTO
OFF  αναβοσβήνει. Η θέρμανση του ατμοσίδε­ρου σταματάει. Για να απενεργοποιήσετε την αυ­τόματη απενεργοποίηση, σηκώστε το ατμοσίδερο
και κουνήστε το λίγο πέρα-δώθε. Η λυχνία ελέγχου
AUTO OFF  σβήνει και το σίδερο αρχίζει πάλι
να ζεσταίνεται.

ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΗ

Η αυτόματη απενεργοποίηση δεν αντικαθιστά
την αποσύνδεση του βύσματος από την πρίζα!
Εξυπηρετεί αποκλειστικά τη μείωση του κινδύνου
πυρκαγιάς, όταν το σίδερο δεν απενεργοποιηθεί
κατά λάθος!

Καθαρισμός

Λειτουργία αυτοκαθαρισμού

■ Γεμίστε το δοχείο νερού μέχρι τη σήμανση

«MAX».

■ Συνδέστε το βύσμα στην πρίζα.

■ Θέστε το ρυθμιστή θερμοκρασίας  στη θέση

«MAX».

■ Ρυθμίστε με το πλήκτρο ποσότητας ατμού  τη

βαθμίδα ατμού 3.

■ Αφήστε το ατμοσίδερο να ζεσταθεί, έως ότου η

λυχνία ελέγχου «LINEN»  να ανάβει συνεχώς.

■ Κρατήστε το ατμοσίδερο σε οριζόντια θέση

επάνω από μία λεκάνη.

ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΗ

Εάν τα χέρια σας έχουν ευαισθησία έναντι της θερ­μότητας, φοράτε γάντια κουζίνας. Καυτός ατμός
ανεβαίνει κατά τη διάρκεια του καθαρισμού.

■ Πατήστε το πλήκτρο Selfclean 3 και κρατήστε

το πατημένο. Μετακινήστε το ατμοσίδερο λίγο
πέρα - δώθε.
Εξέρχεται ατμός και βραστό νερό από τις οπές
εξόδου ατμού στον πάτο του σίδερου -.
Τυχόν υπάρχουσες ακαθαρσίες και άλατα
αποπλένονται και εκρέουν προς τα έξω.

■ Αφήστε το πλήκτρο Selfclean 3 ελεύθερο,

μόλις αδειάσει το νερό από το δοχείο νερού.

■ Στεγνώστε καλά τον πάτο του σίδερου -. Για

το σκοπό αυτό, περάστε τον πάτο του σίδερου

- μερικές φορές πέρα - δώθε σε ένα πανί ή σε
ένα παλαιό κομμάτι ύφασμα.

■ Αφήστε το ατμοσίδερο να κρυώσει, πριν το

αποθηκεύσετε.

Περίβλημα και πάτος σίδερου

ΚΙΝΔΥΝΟΣ ΘΑΝΑΤΟΥ!

► Πριν από τον καθαρισμό, αποσυνδέστε το

βύσμα. Υπάρχει κίνδυνος ηλεκτροπληξίας!

► Αφήνετε τη συσκευή να κρυώνει πριν από

► Μη χρησιμοποιείτε άγρια, εκτριπτικά και

χημικά μέσα καθαρισμού. Αυτά μπορεί να

■ Καθαρίζετε το περίβλημα μόνο με ένα μαλακό,

στεγνό πανί.

■ Καθαρίζετε τον πάτο του σίδερου - με ένα ελα-

φρώς νωπό πανί και ένα απαλό απορρυπαντικό
που δεν προκαλεί τριβή.

■ Πριν από την εκ νέου χρήση, στεγνώνετε εντελώς

τη συσκευή.

Φύλαξη

Φυλάτε τη συσκευή αφού κρυώσει σε έναν καθαρό
και στεγνό χώρο χωρίς σκόνη.

Διόρθωση δυσλειτουργιών

Το ατμοσίδερο δε βγάζει ή βγάζει ελάχι­στο ατμό προς τα έξω:

Το απόθεμα νερού βρύσης/αποσταγμένου νερού
στο ατμοσίδερο έχει εξαντληθεί. Γεμίστε το δοχείο
νερού (βλ. «Πλήρωση δοχείου νερού»).

Το ατμοσίδερο δεν ζεσταίνεται:

■ Το σίδερο δεν είναι συνδεδεμένο ή ενεργοποι-

ημένο. Τοποθετήστε το βύσμα στην πρίζα και
ρυθμίστε την επιθυμητή θερμοκρασία με το
ρυθμιστή θερμοκρασίας .

■ Το ατμοσίδερο είναι ελαττωματικό. Το ατμοσί-

δερο πρέπει να επισκευαστεί από εξειδικευμένο
προσωπικό.

■ Δεν αγγίζετε το πεδίο αισθητήρα αφής .

Πάρτε το σίδερο στο χέρι.

Απόρριψη

Σε καμία περίπτωση μην απορ-

ρίπτετε τη συσκευή στα οικιακά
απορρίμματα. Αυτό το προϊόν
υπόκειται στην ευρωπαϊκή οδη­γία 2012/19/ΕU.

Απορρίπτετε τη συσκευή μέσω μιας εγκεκριμένης
επιχείρησης απόρριψης ή μέσω της κοινοτικής
επιχείρησης απόρριψης.

Τηρείτε τις ισχύουσες προδιαγραφές. Σε περίπτω­ση αμφιβολιών, επικοινωνήστε με την αρμόδια
επιχείρηση απόρριψης.

Απομακρύνετε όλα τα υλικά συσκευ-

ασιών με φιλικό προς το περιβάλλον

ελλείψεων στο προϊόν έχετε νομικά δικαιώματα

δικαιώματα δεν περιορίζονται μέσω της κατωτέρω
αναφερόμενης εγγύησης.

Προϋποθέσεις εγγύησης

Η περίοδος εγγύησης ξεκινάει κατά την ημερομηνία
αγοράς. Φυλάξτε καλά την πρωτότυπη απόδειξη

Περίοδος εγγύησης και νομικές απαιτήσεις
λόγω ελλείψεων

Ο χρόνος εγγύησης δεν παρατείνεται μέσω της πα­ροχής εγγύησης. Αυτό ισχύει και για εξαρτήματα,
τα οποία έχουν αντικατασταθεί και επισκευαστεί.
Ενδεχόμενες ήδη υπάρχουσες ζημιές και ελλείψεις
κατά την αγορά πρέπει να γνωστοποιούνται αμέ­σως μετά την αποσυσκευασία. Μετά τη λήξη του
χρόνου εγγύησης, τυχόν εμφανιζόμενες επισκευές
χρεώνονται.

Εύρος εγγύησης

Η συσκευή κατασκευάστηκε σύμφωνα με αυστηρές
οδηγίες ποιότητας και ελέγχθηκε προσεκτικά πριν
από την αποστολή.

Η απόδοση εγγύησης ισχύει για σφάλματα υλικού
ή κατασκευής. Η παρούσα εγγύηση δεν εκτείνεται
σε τμήματα του προϊόντος, τα οποία εκτίθενται σε
φυσιολογική φθορά και έτσι μπορεί να θεωρούνται
εξαρτήματα φθοράς ή για ζημιές σε εύθραυστα
εξαρτήματα, π.χ. διακόπτες, συσσωρευτές, ταψιά ή
εξαρτήματα που είναι κατασκευασμένα από γυαλί.

Η παρούσα εγγύηση ακυρώνεται εάν προκληθεί
ζημιά στο προϊόν, εάν δεν γίνεται σωστή χρήση ή
συντήρηση. Για μια σωστή χρήση του προϊόντος
πρέπει να τηρούνται επακριβώς οι αναφερόμενες
υποδείξεις στις οδηγίες χειρισμού. Σκοποί χρήσης
και χειρισμοί που δεν συνιστώνται ή για τους οποίους
υπάρχει προειδοποίηση πρέπει απαραίτητα να
αποφεύγονται.

Το προϊόν προορίζεται μόνο για ιδιωτική και όχι
για επαγγελματική χρήση. Σε περίπτωση κακής με­ταχείρισης και ακατάλληλης χρήσης, χρήσης βίας
και παρεμβάσεων, οι οποίες δεν διεξήχθησαν από
το εξουσιοδοτημένο μας τμήμα σέρβις, η εγγύηση
παύει να ισχύει.

Διαδικασία σε περίπτωση εγγύησης

Για την εξασφάλιση γρήγορης επεξεργασίας του
ζητήματός σας, τηρείτε τις ακόλουθες υποδείξεις:

■ Για όλες τις ερωτήσεις έχετε έτοιμη την απόδειξη

αγοράς και τον κωδικό προϊόντος (π.χ. ΙΑΝ

12345) ως απόδειξη για την αγορά.

■ Μπορείτε να βρείτε τον κωδικό προϊόντος στην

πινακίδα τύπου, χαραγμένο, στην πρώτη σελίδα
των οδηγιών σας (κάτω αριστερά) ή σε αυτοκόλ­λητο στην πίσω ή κάτω πλευρά.

■ Εάν προκύψουν σφάλματα λειτουργίας ή άλλες

ελλείψεις, επικοινωνήστε κατ’ αρχήν με το ακόλουθο
αναφερόμενο τμήμα σέρβις τηλεφωνικά ή με
E-Mail.

■ Ένα προϊόν που θεωρείται ελαττωματικό μπορείτε

να το αποστείλετε ατελώς στην αναφερόμενη διεύ­θυνση του σέρβις επισυνάπτοντας την απόδειξη

entschieden. Die Bedienungsanleitung ist Bestand­teil dieses Produkts. Sie enthält wichtige Hinweise
für Sicherheit, Gebrauch und Entsorgung. Machen
Sie sich vor der Benutzung des Produkts mit allen
Bedien- und Sicherheitshinweisen vertraut. Benut­zen Sie das Produkt nur wie beschrieben und für
die angegebenen Einsatzbereiche. Händigen Sie
alle Unterlagen bei Weitergabe des Produkts an

Bestimmungsgemäßer
Gebrauch

Das Dampfbügeleisen ist ausschließlich zum
Bügeln von Kleidung bestimmt. Sie dürfen es nur
innerhalb geschlossener Räume und in privaten
Haushalten verwenden. Alle anderen Verwendun­gen gelten als nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Benutzen
Sie es nicht gewerblich!

Sicherheitshinweise

GEFAHR DURCH ELEKTRISCHEN SCHLAG!

► Die Spannung der Stromquelle muss mit den Angaben auf dem

Typenschild des Gerätes übereinstimmen.

► Lassen Sie ein defektes Gerät umgehend von einer qualifizierten

Fachwerkstatt instandsetzen oder wenden Sie sich an den Kun­denservice, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.

► Lassen Sie beschädigte Netzstecker oder Netzkabel sofort von

autorisiertem Fachpersonal oder dem Kundenservice austau­schen, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.

► Ziehen Sie immer nur am Netzstecker, niemals am Kabel.
► Knicken oder quetschen Sie das Netzkabel nicht und verlegen

Sie es so, dass es nicht in Kontakt mit heißen Oberflächen kommt
und niemand darauf treten oder darüber stolpern kann.

► Ziehen Sie vor dem Reinigen, beim Auffüllen mit Wasser und

nach jedem Gebrauch den Netzstecker.

► Rollen Sie das Netzkabel vor dem Einschalten immer vollständig

ab und verwenden Sie keine Verlängerungskabel.

► Fassen Sie das Kabel oder den Netzstecker niemals mit feuchten

Händen an.

► Benutzen Sie das Dampfbügeleisen keinesfalls in der Nähe von

Wasser, das in Badewannen, Duschen, Waschbecken oder
anderen Gefäßen enthalten ist. Die Nähe von Wasser stellt eine
Gefahr dar, auch wenn das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist.

► Sie dürfen das Dampfbügeleisen keinesfalls in eine Flüssigkeit tau-

chen und keine Flüssigkeiten in das Gerätegehäuse des Dampfbü­geleisens gelangen lassen. Sie dürfen das Gerät keiner Feuchtigkeit
aussetzen und nicht im Freien benutzen. Falls doch einmal Flüs­sigkeit in das Gerätegehäuse gelangt, ziehen Sie sofort den Netz­stecker des Geräts aus der Netzsteckdose und lassen Sie es von
qualifiziertem Fachpersonal reparieren.

► Sie dürfen das Gerätegehäuse des Dampfbügeleisens nicht öff-

nen. Lassen Sie das defekte Dampfbügeleisen nur von qualifizier­tem Fachpersonal reparieren.

► Benutzen Sie das Dampfbügeleisen auf keinen Fall, wenn es

sichtbare Beschädigungen aufweist, heruntergefallen ist, oder
Wasser ausläuft. Lassen Sie es erst von qualifiziertem Fachpersonal
reparieren.

► Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht weiter, wenn der Knickschutz am

Netzkabel beschädigt ist!

► Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und älter und von

Personen mit reduzierten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen
Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und/oder Wissen benutzt
werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren Ge­brauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und die daraus resul­tierenden Gefahren verstanden haben. Kinder dürfen nicht mit
dem Gerät spielen. Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht
durch Kinder ohne Beaufsichtigung durchgeführt werden.

► Fassen Sie das Dampfbügeleisen ausschließlich am Griff an,

wenn es aufgeheizt ist.

► Kinder sollten beaufsichtigt werden, um sicherzustellen, dass sie

nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.

► Halten Sie niemals Ihre Hände in den Dampfstoß oder an heiße

Metallteile.

► Sie dürfen die Einfüllöffnung für den Wassertank während des

Gebrauchs nicht öffnen. Lassen Sie das Dampfbügeleisen zu­nächst erkalten und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netz­steckdose.

► Das Bügeleisen und dessen Anschlussleitung müssen während

des Einschaltens oder Abkühlens außer Reichweite von Kindern
sein, die jünger als 8 Jahre alt sind.

► Lassen Sie das heiße, am Stromnetz angeschlossene oder einge-

schaltete Dampfbügeleisen niemals unbeaufsichtigt.

► Verstauen Sie das Dampfbügeleisen nur im abgekühlten Zustand.
► Das Dampfbügeleisen muss auf einer stabilen Oberfläche benutzt

und abgestellt werden.

► Bügeln Sie nur mit den auf den Pflegehinweisen angegebenen

und für das Material geeigneten Temperatureinstellungen. Sie
können die Wäsche andernfalls beschädigen. Falls Sie keine
Pflegehinweise kennen, beginnen Sie mit der niedrigsten Tempe­ratureinstellung.

► Stellen Sie das Bügeleisen nur auf einen ebenen und hitzeunemp-

findlichen Untergrund. Das Bügeleisen muss stabil stehen.

► Wenn Sie das Dampfbügeleisen aus der Hand legen wollen,

stellen Sie es nur auf dem Sockel ab.

ACHTUNG! SACHSCHADEN!

► Falls die Pflegehinweise in der Kleidung das Bügeln untersagen

), dürfen Sie das Kleidungsstück nicht bügeln. Sie

könnten das Kleidungsstück andernfalls beschädigen.

► Sie dürfen ausschließlich Leitungswasser /destilliertes Wasser

in den Wassertank einfüllen. Andernfalls beschädigen Sie das
Dampfbügeleisen.

► Sie dürfen das Dampfbügeleisen nicht mit Lösungsmitteln, Alkohol

oder scheuernden Reinigungsmitteln säubern. Andernfalls könnten
Sie es beschädigen.

Vor dem ersten Gebrauch

■ Entnehmen Sie das Dampfbügeleisen aus der

Verpackung.

■ Entfernen Sie alle Aufkleber und Folienteile vom

Dampfbügeleisen und der Bügelsohle -.

ERSTICKUNGSGEFAHR!

► Plastiktüten können eine Gefahr darstellen. Um

Erstickungsgefahr zu vermeiden, bewahren
Sie die Plastiktüten außerhalb der Reichweite
von Babys und Kleinkindern auf.

■ Füllen Sie Wasser in den Wassertank (siehe

Kapitel „Wassertank befüllen“).

■ Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Netzsteck-

dose, die der auf dem Typenschild angegebe­nen Spannung entspricht.

■ Stellen Sie den Temperaturregler  in die

Position „MAX“.

■ Lassen Sie das Bügeleisen aufheizen, bis ein

Signalton erklingt.

■ Nehmen Sie das Bügeleisen in die Hand und

betätigen Sie die Taste für den Dampfstoß
 einige Male, so dass Dampf aus der Bügel­sohle - austritt.

■ Bügeln Sie dann ein nicht mehr benötigtes Stück

Stoff, um eventuelle Unreinheiten von der Bügel­sohle - zu beseitigen.

Wassertank befüllen

■ Halten Sie das Bügeleisen schräg in der Hand.

■ Öffnen Sie den Deckel der Einfüllöffnung für den

Wassertank . Dieser ist mit
net.

■ Füllen Sie mit dem Messbecher ! Leitungs-

wasser/destilliertes Wasser bis höchstens zur
„MAX“-Markierung, die Sie in der Einfüllöffnung
für den Wassertank  sehen, in den Wasser-
tank.

■ Schließen Sie den Deckel der Einfüllöffnung für

den Wassertank .

HINWEIS

Sollte das Leitungswasser Ihres Wohnortes zu
hart sein, empfiehlt es sich, das Leitungswasser
mit destilliertem Wasser zu mischen. Ansonsten
können die Düsen für die Dampfstoß-Funktion
vorzeitig verkalken.

Zur Verlängerung der optimalen Dampfstoß­Funktion mischen Sie das Leitungswasser mit
destilliertem Wasser entsprechend der Tabelle:

Trockenbügeln ohne Dampf können Sie bei allen
Temperaturen, Dampfbügeln ist erst ab dem

► Falls die Pflegehinweise in der Kleidung das

Stellen Sie das Bügeleisen während des Aufhei­zens immer auf den Sockel .

Wenn Sie das Bügeleisen während des
Aufheizens auf die Bügelsohle - stellen und
nicht bewegen, wird nach 30 Sekunden die
automatische Abschaltung aktiviert (siehe Kapitel
“Automatische Abschaltung”) und das Gerät
stoppt das Heizen.

Die Kontrollleuchte  der eingestellten Stoffart
beginnt zu blinken. Sobald die Kontrollleuchte 
der eingestellten Stoffart dauerhaft leuchtet und ein
Signalton erklingt, ist die eingestellte Temperatur
erreicht.

■ Warten Sie, bis die Kontrollleuchte  der

eingestellten Stoffart dauerhaft leuchtet und ein
Signalton ertönt. Sie können dann anfangen zu
bügeln.

■ Zum Befeuchten der Wäsche drücken Sie auf

die Taste für die Sprühfunktion
nebel tritt aus der Wasserdüse  aus.

Diese Funktion ist für sehr trockene, stark knittrige
Wäsche geeignet.

Touchsensor (

Durch den im Griff integrierten Touchsensor erkennt
das Bügeleisen, ob Sie es in der Hand halten.

■ Ist der Temperaturregler  bis in den roten Ein-

stellbereich
eingestellt, wird, solange das Touchsensor - Feld
 berührt wird, Dauerdampf erzeugt.

■ Wird das Touchsensor - Feld  nicht berührt,

stoppt das Bügelseisen automatisch die Dampf­erzeugung.

■ Sobald das Bügeleisen wieder in die Hand

genommen wird, wird die Dampferzeugung
fortgesetzt.

Tropf-Stop-Funktion

Bei herkömmlichen Dampfbügeleisen kann es
vorkommen, dass bei zu geringer Bügeltemperatur
Wasser aus der Bügelsohle - tropft. Dieses Bügel­eisen weist jedoch ein neues Ausstattungsmerkmal,

die TROPF-STOP-Funktion auf (
Bügeleisen schaltet den Dampfstoß bei niedrigen
Temperaturen automatisch ab.

Stellen Sie dann mit dem Temperaturregler  die
geeignete Temperatur ein. Sobald diese erreicht ist,
wird die Dampferzeugung fortgesetzt.

Die Anti-Kalk-Kartusche ist ein fester Bestandteil im
Wassertank und kann nicht ersetzt werden.

Automatische Abschaltung

Das Bügeleisen ist mit einer automatischen Ab­schaltung ausgestattet. Diese stoppt das Heizen
des Bügeleisens.

Wenn das Bügeleisen auf der Bügelsohle - steht
und es für ca. 30 Sekunden nicht bewegt wird,
erklingen Warnsignale und die Kontrollleuchte
AUTO OFF  blinkt. Das Heizen des Bügeleisens
wird gestoppt. Um die automatische Abschaltung
zu deaktivieren, heben Sie das Bügeleisen an und
schwenken Sie es leicht hin und her. Die Kontroll­leuchte AUTO OFF  erlischt und das Bügeleisen
heizt wieder auf.

Wenn das Bügeleisen auf dem Sockel  steht und
es für ca. eine Minute nicht bewegt wird, erklin­gen Warnsignale und die Kontrollleuchte AUTO
OFF  blinkt. Das Heizen des Bügeleisens wird
gestoppt. Um die automatische Abschaltung zu
deaktivieren, heben Sie das Bügeleisen an und
schwenken Sie es leicht hin und her. Die Kontroll­leuchte AUTO OFF  erlischt und das Bügeleisen
heizt wieder auf.

HINWEIS

Die automatische Abschaltung ersetzt nicht das
Ziehen des Netzsteckers! Sie dient lediglich der
Reduzierung der Brandgefahr, wenn das Bügelei­sen versehentlich nicht ausgeschaltet wird!

Reinigen

Selbstreinigungs-Funktion

■ Füllen Sie den Wassertank bis zur Markierung

„MAX“.

■ Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in die Netzsteckdose.

■ Stellen Sie den Temperaturregler  auf Position

„MAX“.

■ Stellen Sie mit der Taste für die Dampfmenge 

die Dampfstufe 3 ein.

■ Lassen Sie das Dampfbügeleisen aufheizen,

bis die Kontrollleuchte "LINEN"  dauerhaft
leuchtet.

■ Halten Sie das Dampfbügeleisen waagerecht

über eine Auffangschüssel.

HINWEIS

Wenn Sie hitzeempfindliche Hände haben, zie­hen Sie Topfhandschuhe an. Heißer Dampf steigt
während der Reinigung auf.

■ Drücken Sie die Taste Selfclean 3 und halten

Sie diese gedrückt. Bewegen Sie das Dampfbü­geleisen dabei ein wenig hin und her.
Dampf und kochendes Wasser tritt aus den
Dampfaustrittslöchern in der Bügelsohle - aus.
Eventuell vorhandene Verunreinigungen und
Kalk werden dabei herausgespült.

■ Lassen Sie die Taste Selfclean 3 los, sobald

Führen Sie dazu die Bügelsohle - einige Male
über ein Handtuch oder altes Stück Stoff hin
und her.

mit Wasser befeuchteten Tuch und einem milden,
nicht scheuernden Reinigungsmittel.

■ Trocknen Sie das Gerät vor einer erneuten

Benutzung vollständig ab.

Aufbewahren

Bewahren Sie das abgekühlte Gerät an einem
sauberen, staubfreien und trockenen Ort auf.

Fehlfunktionen beseitigen

Das Dampfbügeleisen stößt keinen oder
sehr wenig Dampf aus:

Der Vorrat an Leitungswasser/destilliertem Wasser
im Dampfbügeleisen ist erschöpft. Füllen Sie den
Wassertank (siehe „Wassertank befüllen“).

Das Dampfbügeleisen erhitzt sich nicht:

■ Das Bügeleisen ist nicht angeschlossen oder

nicht eingeschaltet. Stecken Sie den Netzstecker
in die Netzsteckdose und stellen mit dem Tempe­raturregler  die gewünschte Temperatur ein.

■ Das Dampfbügeleisen ist defekt. Lassen Sie das

Dampfbügeleisen von qualifiziertem Fachperso­nal reparieren.

■ Sie breühren das Touchsensor-Feld  nicht.

Nehmen Sie das Bügeleisen in die Hand.

Entsorgung

Werfen Sie das Gerät keines-

falls in den normalen Hausmüll.
Dieses Produkt unterliegt der
europäischen Richtlinie
2012/19/EU.

Entsorgen Sie das Gerät über einen zugelassenen
Entsorgungsbetrieb oder über Ihre kommunale
Entsorgungseinrichtung.

Beachten Sie die aktuell geltenden Vorschriften.

Kaufdatum. Im Falle von Mängeln dieses Produkts
stehen Ihnen gegen den Verkäufer des Produkts
gesetzliche Rechte zu. Diese gesetzlichen Rechte
werden durch unsere im Folgenden dargestellte
Garantie nicht eingeschränkt.

Garantiebedingungen

Die Garantiefrist beginnt mit dem Kaufdatum. Bitte
bewahren Sie den Original-Kassenbon gut auf.
Diese Unterlage wird als Nachweis für den Kauf
benötigt.

Tritt innerhalb von drei Jahren ab dem Kaufdatum
dieses Produkts ein Material- oder Fabrikationsfeh­ler auf, wird das Produkt von uns – nach unserer
Wahl – für Sie kostenlos repariert oder ersetzt.
Diese Garantieleistung setzt voraus, dass innerhalb
der Drei-Jahres-Frist das defekte Gerät und der
Kaufbeleg (Kassenbon) vorgelegt und schriftlich
kurz beschrieben wird, worin der Mangel besteht
und wann er aufgetreten ist.

Wenn der Defekt von unserer Garantie gedeckt ist,
erhalten Sie das reparierte oder ein neues Produkt
zurück. Mit Reparatur oder Austausch des Produkts
beginnt kein neuer Garantiezeitraum.

Garantiezeit und gesetzliche
Mängelansprüche

Die Garantiezeit wird durch die Gewährleistung
nicht verlängert. Dies gilt auch für ersetzte und
reparierte Teile. Eventuell schon beim Kauf vorhan­dene Schäden und Mängel müssen sofort nach
dem Auspacken gemeldet werden. Nach Ablauf
der Garantiezeit anfallende Reparaturen sind
kostenpflichtig.

Garantieumfang

Das Gerät wurde nach strengen Qualitätsrichtlinien
sorgfältig produziert und vor Auslieferung gewissen­haft geprüft.

Die Garantieleistung gilt für Material- oder Fabrika­tionsfehler. Diese Garantie erstreckt sich nicht auf
Produktteile, die normaler Abnutzung ausgesetzt
sind und daher als Verschleißteile angesehen werden
können oder für Beschädigungen an zerbrechlichen
Teilen, z. B. Schalter, Akkus, Backformen oder Teile
die aus Glas gefertigt sind.

Diese Garantie verfällt, wenn das Produkt beschä­digt, nicht sachgemäß benutzt oder gewartet wurde.
Für eine sachgemäße Benutzung des Produkts sind
alle in der Bedienungsanleitung aufgeführten Anwei­sungen genau einzuhalten. Verwendungszwecke
und Handlungen, von denen in der Bedienungsan­leitung abgeraten oder vor denen gewarnt wird,
sind unbedingt zu vermeiden.

Das Produkt ist nur für den privaten und nicht für den
gewerblichen Gebrauch bestimmt. Bei missbräuch­licher und unsachgemäßer Behandlung, Gewaltan­wendung und bei Eingriffen, die nicht von unserer
autorisierten Service-Niederlassung vorgenommen
wurden, erlischt die Garantie.
