Never recharge nonrechargeable batteries and do not

short-circuit and / or open any batteries.
Never throw batteries into fire or water.
Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries.

Risk of battery leaking

In the event of a battery leak, immediately remove it from

the device to prevent damage.
Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mucous membranes.

In the event of contact with battery acid, thoroughly flush

the affected area with clean water and seek immediate

medical attention.
Avoid extreme conditions and temperatures which may

impact batteries, e.g. radiators!

Remove the battery from the device if it is not going to be

used for extended periods.

Risk of property damage

Use only the recommended battery type!
When inserting the battery ensure the correct polarity! This

is indicated on the battery compartment cover.
If necessary, clean the battery and device contacts before

inserting the battery.
Promptly remove drained batteries from the product.

j Turn the battery compartment cover

j Insert the (new) batteries into the battery compartment.

Note: Make sure you fit the batteries the right way round

(polarity). The correct polarity is shown inside the battery

compartment.

j Put the battery compartment cover back in place on the

battery compartment and turn it clockwise to tighten it

(see Fig. C).

j Press the ON / OFF button 5 to switch the LED work light

j Press the ON / OFF button again to switch the LED work

light off.

Fixing the device

The LED work light 1 can be used in 2 ways without having
to hold it in your hand:

j Hold the magnet 3 against a metallic magnetic surface.

The LED work light remains in this position.

j Fold out the hook

to suspend the LED work light from
a suitable suspension point. The hook can be turned
through 360 degree.

J Use a dry cloth to clean the light – never use petrol,

solvents or cleaners that attack plastic.

Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable

materials, which you may dispose of at local
recycling facilities.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of
how to dispose of your worn-out product.

To help protect the environment, please dispose of
the product properly when it has reached the end
of its useful life and not in the household waste. In­formation on collection points and their opening
hours can be obtained from your local authority.

Defective or used batteries have to be recycled in line with Di­rective 2006 / 66 / EC. Return batteries and / or t he d evice via
the recycling facilities provided.

Environmental damage through incorrect
disposal of the rechargeable batteries!

Pb

Batteries may not be disposed of with the usual domestic
waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to
hazardous waste treatment rules and regulations. The chemi­cal symbols for heavy metals are as follows: Cd = cadmium,
Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. That is why you should dispose of
used rechargeable batteries at a local collection point.

Baterie nie mogą dostać się do rąk dzieci. Nie pozosta-

wiać porozrzucanych baterii. Istnieje niebezpieczeństwo, iż
te zostaną połknięte przez dzieci lub zwierzęta. W przy­padku połknięcia należy natychmiast udać się do lekarza.

OSTROŻNIE! NIEBEZPIECZEŃSTWO WYBUCHU!

Nie należy ładować baterii nie nadających się do łado-

wania, Nie zwierać biegunów baterii i / lub nie otwierać ich.

Nie należy nigdy wrzucać baterii do ognia lub wody.
Nigdy nie należy narażać baterii na obciążenia mecha-

niczne.

Zagrożenie wylaniem baterii

W przypadku wycieku baterii natychmiast usunąć ją z

urządzenia, aby uniknąć uszkodzeń.

Unikać kontaktu ze skórą, oczami i błonami śluzowymi. W

razie kontaktu z kwasem akumulatorowym, należy natych­miast wypłukać dotknięte miejsce dużą ilością czystej
wody i niezwłocznie udać się do lekarza.

Należy unikać ekstremalnych warunków i temperatur,

które mogą oddziaływać na baterię, np. kaloryferów.

Wyjąć baterię z urządzenia w przypadku nieużywania

jej przez dłuższy czas.

Niebezpieczeństwo szkód materialnych

Używać wyłącznie zalecanego rodzaju baterii!
Wkładając należy zwrócić uwagę na odpowiednią bie-

gunowość! Jest ona zaznaczona na pokrywie komory na
baterie.

W razie potrzeby przed włożeniem baterii oczyścić jej

styki i urządzenia.

Zużytą baterię należy niezwłocznie usunąć z urządzenia.

Obrócić pokrywę kieszeni na baterie 3 w kierunku prze-

ciwnym do ruchu wskazówek zegara i wyjąć je z kieszeni

(patrz rys. B).

Włożyć (nowe) baterie do kieszeni.

Uwaga: Zwracać uwagę na właściwe położenie biegu­nów baterii. Odpowiedni schemat znajduje się w kieszeni
na baterie.

Ponownie nałożyć pokrywę na kieszeń i dokręcić zgodnie

z kierunkiem wskazówek zegara (patrz rys. C).
