Before use, ensure that the mains voltage
available is the same as the required operating
voltage for the device (230 V ∼ 50 Hz).
Before connecting the device to the mains you
should always check the device and the mains
lead for any damage. A damaged device
represents the danger of death from electric shock.
The supply cord of the lamp cannot be replaced.
If the cord is damaged the appliance should
be scrapped.
Do not use the device if you find any damage.
It is essential that the device does not come
into contact with water or other liquids.
Protect the mains lead against sharp edges,
mechanical stresses and hot surfaces.
If the lamp is not to be used for an extended
period (e.g. during your holidays), pull the mains
plug out of the mains socket.
This lamp is only intended for use
indoors.
Use
Before assembly, please remove the transparent
plastic clip

Replacing a bulb
Use a cloth for lamp replacement.
Switch off the lamp using the on / off in-line
foot switch

Pull the mains plug 7 out of the mains socket
and allow the lamp to cool down.
Screw the old bulb 3 out of the socket.
Screw a bulb of the same type into the fitting
of the lamp. Ensure that the bulb is securely
and firmly seated.
Maintenance and Cleaning
CAUTION! DANGER OF ELECTRIC
SHOCK! Pull the mains plug out of the mains
socket and allow the lamp to cool down. For
electrical safety reasons do not clean the lamp
with water or other liquids and never immerse
it in water. Always use a dry fluff-free cloth for
cleaning the device.
Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of
recyclable materials, which you may
dispose of at local recycling facilities.

des Betriebs heiß. Lassen Sie die Leuchte und
das Leuchtmittel erst abkühlen, bevor Sie sie

Schauen Sie nicht direkt in das Licht der Leuchte!
Reizungen der Augen können die Folgen sein.
Beachten Sie, dass die Energiespar-
lampe nicht dimmbar ist.
Vermeiden Sie Lebensgefahr
durch elektrischen Schlag!
Vergewissern Sie sich vor der Benutzung, dass
die vorhandene Netzspannung mit der benötigten
Betriebsspannung des Gerätes übereinstimmt
(230 V∼ 50 Hz).
Überprüfen Sie vor jedem Netz anschluss das
Gerät und das Netzanschlusskabel auf etwaige
Beschädigungen. Ein beschädigtes Gerät bedeutet Lebensgefahr durch elektrischen Schlag.
Das Netzkabel der Leuchte kann nicht ersetzt
werden. Wird es beschädigt, muss das Produkt
ausrangiert werden.
Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn Sie
irgendwelche Beschädigungen feststellen.
Vermeiden Sie unbedingt die Berührung des
Gerätes mit Wasser oder anderen Flüssigkeiten.
Schützen Sie die Netzleitung vor scharfen
Kanten, mechanischen Belastungen und heißen
Oberflächen.
Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose,
wenn Sie die Leuchte für längere Zeit nicht

Verwenden Sie zum Auswechseln des Leucht-
mittels ein Tuch.
Schalten Sie die Leuchte mit dem Ein- / Aus-
Kabelfußschalter

Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker 7 aus der Steck-
dose und lassen Sie die Leuchte abkühlen.
Schrauben Sie das alte Leuchtmittel 3 aus der
Fassung.
Schrauben Sie ein Leuchtmittel gleichen Typs in
die Fassung der Leuchte. Achten Sie dabei auf
einen festen und sicheren Sitz des Leuchtmittels.
Wartung und Reinigung
VORSICHT! STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR!
Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose
und lassen Sie die Leuchte abkühlen. Aus
Gründen der elektrischen Sicherheit darf die
Leuchte niemals mit Wasser oder anderen
Flüssigkeiten gereinigt oder gar in Wasser
getaucht werden.
