This appliance can be used by children aged
from 8 years and above and persons with re­duced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction con­cerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

Always check the appliance and the mains
supply for damage before connecting it to the mains. Please do not use this device if you find that it is damaged in any way.
Do not expose the light to humidity. Otherwise
it may be damaged.
This light is for indoor use only.
Avoid the danger of death from electric shock!
Before using the product, ensure that the
available mains voltage corresponds with the operating voltage (100–240 V∼ 50 / 60 Hz) required for the mains supply (model no. WSC12-2AB).
Only use the light with the mains supply
included (model no. WSC12-2AB).
Always check the product and lead for
damage before connecting it to the mains.
Dispose of the light if the power cord is
damaged.
Never allow the appliance to come into contact
with water or other liquids.
Protect the mains connection cable from sharp
edges, mechanical loads and hot surfaces.
Caution! Risk of burns!
FIRE HAZARD! Fit the light so that
0.3 m
it is at least 0.3 m away from the material to be illuminated. Fire can
result from the development of too much heat.
Do not allow any objects to cover the light. Fire
can result from the development of too much heat.
Start-up
Mounting the light
Note: Installation should be carried out by two
persons. Note: Installation is virtually identical for both models and only differs in the first installation step (installing the lamp shade for model Z31907A-BS).
Remove the clear plastic clip 18 to the end of
the lower support tube (with cable) mounting.
Model Z31907A-BS only:
Using the screwdriver

from the ceiling uplight 4 and
attach the lamp shade

, first remove all metal

Screw the lower support tube (with cable) 17
into the centre piece

Carefully guide the cable and the two lower
support tubes through the metal cover

A lock washer 15 and a locknut 14 are located
on the lower support tube (with cable). Attach the lower support tube to the stand using the locknut and lock washer. Also attach the lower support tube (without cable) using the included locknut and lock washer (Fig. C).
Connect the mains supply 10 to the connection
cable (Fig. D).
Plug the mains supply into an easy to access
outlet to be able to quickly unplug the mains supply.
Your light is now ready for operation.

Operating the light
Warranty
Note: Be sure to always maintain the minimum
required distance 0.3 m to the surface being lit. Otherwise there is a fire hazard.
The ceiling uplight 4 swivels and pivots. Tilt
the uplight to the desired angle.
Avoid twisting the ceiling uplight; do not adjust
the light by the top support tube

The reading light 6 is attached by a flexible
arm which allows it to be adjusted in any direction.
Switch the ceiling uplight on or off by turning
the ON / OFF dial

The brightness of the uplight can be adjusted
by turning the ON / OFF dial

Rotate the ON / OFF switch 8 clockwise until
hearing a click sound to turn on the reading lamp.
Rotate it clockwise continually until hearing an-
other click sound to turn off the reading lamp.
