Disassembling the product may cause malfunction of the product. Please do not disassemble the product.

LG Electronics is not responsible for problems caused by disassembling the product by users or non-authorized personnel.

Please read the safety information carefully before using the product. After reading this manual, make sure to keep it in a place where you can easily access while using the product.

The notices for safety are written, to prevent unexpected danger or damage while using the product safely and correctly.

•Do not use in high temperature(over 35 ˚C (95 °F)), low temperature(below 5 ˚C (41 °F)) or a place where is big temperature difference. It can cause breakdown and failure.

•When the product has damage, don’t turn on.

•When not in use, please charge the product once a month.

•Clean the product with a soft cloth. Do not use chemicals or solvents for cleaning.

•Do not use the product in an electrostatic discharged environment. This can cause failure or malfunction.

•Please refer to the information of this manual if this will be used together with a child. Please refer to the manual during use.

•If internal fluids of the product come into contact with skin, rinse with clean water immediately. This can cause irritation to your skin.

•Please do not press or bend the charging cable. This can cause failure or malfunction.

•Do not leave the product in/around heating appliances, car interiors, or high temperature environments. May cause overheating and/or explosion.

•Do not place the product near containers filled with liquids, such as vases, flower pots, cups, cosmetics, or drugs. May cause injury or death due to fire or electric shock.

•If the product is soaked with a liquid such as water, chemicals, or oil, do not use. It may cause fire or electric shock.

•If product emits smoke or a strange smell, stop use immediately. It may cause fire or electric shock.

•Please leave the product out of the reach of children or babies. If ingested, consult your doctor immediately.

•Do not put the product in the microwave or oven. Rapidly heating the product can cause damage, overheating, fire, explosion and may result in injury or death.

•Please immediately discontinue use if there is strange odor, heating, discoloration, and other strange phenomenon while using the product. The product may overheat, combust, or explode causing injury or death.

•Please stop charging, if charging takes longer than the max charging time. The product may overheat, combust, or explode causing injury or death.

•Please keep away from (heat of ) fire if smoking or leaking. Internal fluids are flammable and may cause injury or death.

•If internal fluids come into contact with your eyes please immediately consult your doctor and rinse/flush with water. May cause blurred vision or vision loss.

•Please do not give the product strong impact or drop. The product may overheat, combust, or explode causing injury or death.

•Please do not activate the product after impact. The product may overheat, combust, or explode causing injury or death.

•Do not apply pressure or puncture the portable battery. The product may overheat, combust, or explode causing injury or death.

•Do not expose to high temperature over 60 ˚C. This can cause overheating, fire, or explosion and may result in injury or death.

•If the portable battery is swollen, please inquire the manufacturer or the seller because there can be danger.

•Do not leave or use in high temperature and humidity such as a bathroom. The product may overheat, combust, or explode causing injury or death.

•Please do not step on or press cables. If the cable is broken, do not use. May cause electrical shock, or fire and result in injury or death.

•Do not use near flame or flammable material. The product may overheat, combust, or explode causing injury or death.

•Do not plug metal objects into the body. The product may overheat, combust, or explode causing injury or death.

•Do not allow contact with moisture. The product may overheat, combust, or explode causing injury or death.

•Do not use the product for a long time on a blanket or quilt, electric blanket, or on the carpet. The product may overheat, combust, or explode causing injury or death.

>>Caution

• Please charge the portable battery at least once a month, because it consumes a small amount of current even when not in use.

• If all LEDs are not lighting (BP4 10400 mAh / BP4 5200 mAh) or the red LED is lighting (BP3 2600 mAh), please charge the portable battery immediately. If portable battery is discharged, its lifetime is shorten.

Charging the portable battery

>>Caution

Charge the portable battery completely before using it for the first time. Before connecting the USB cable, check the voltage/current of the adapter. If you use unsuitable device, it may cause malfuction of portable battery or charger.

1.Connect the Micro USB port (Input) of the portable battery and the charger adapter or PC USB port by using the USB cable.

-- The LED is blinking, it is charging normally.

2.When charging of the portable battery is done, the LED indicator will be turned off. Then, remove the USB cable.

,,Note

• LED lights display charging conditions and capacity indications. For more details, refer to LED conditions on page 6.

• When you press LED button while in charging battery, the portable battery mode change to discharging mode for portable device and stop the charging during 20 seconds. After 20 seconds, the portable battery will be charged normally.

Sequential Charging

1.Connect the Micro USB port (Input) of the portable battery and the charger adapter by using the USB cable.

2.Connect the USB port (Output) of the portable battery and the USB port of your portable device by using the USB cable.

-- After finishing the portable battery charged, then your portable device will be charged.

-- When you press LED button, after finishing your portable device charged, then the portable battery will be charged.

Depending on Portable device, charging process might not stop even though battery is fully charged (100% charged). In this case, it will be not switched to charging the portable battery. In order to change the sequence for charging the portable battery, please wait

for some time(it may different depending on device’s manufacturer.) or disconnect the portable device from portable battery.

3.When charging of portable device is done, remove the USB cable.
