DESCRIPTION
The hood may be in the filtering or the ducting version.
Filtering version (Fig. 1): The hood aspirates the kitchen air saturated with fumes and odours, purifies it through the grease filters and charcoal filters and returns clean air into the room. For constant efficiency, the charcoal filters must be replaced periodically. The charcoal filters are not supplied.
Ducting version (Fig. 2): The hood aspirates the kitchen air saturated with fumes and odours, passes it through the grease filters and expels it to the outside through an outlet pipe. With this version the charcoal filters are not required.
Decide from the outset on the type of installation (filtering or ducting). For greater efficiency, we recommend you install the hood in the ducting version (if possible).
INSTALLATION
ATTENTION: Two persons are required for proper installation; the unit should be installed by a qualified
operator.
Remove the grease filters before proceeding with the assembly instructions. This will make the appliance easier to handle.
1. Removal of grease filters (refer to Figure 3, 4 or 5 depending on model purchased): Fig.3-4: press the lock towards the back part of the device and rotate the filter low.
Fig.5: press the 2 locks inside the device and remove the metallic shelf bending slightly.
INSTALLATION IN DUCTING VERSION: Before fixing, the outlet pipe for air evacuation to the outside must be installed. Use an outlet pipe with: – minimum indispensable length; – minimum possible bends (maximum angle of bend: 90°); – certified material (according to the State); – an as smooth as possible inside. It is also advisable to avoid any drastic changes in pipe cross-section (we suggest a chimney with a 125 mm diameter for the K18E1and K19E1 models; instead for the K18S1 and K18S1 models we suggest a chimney with a 150 mm diameter. For the model type, make reference to the technical plate inside the device).
For air evacuation to the outside, follow all the other instructions given on the “Warnings” sheet. Prepare the power supply within the telescopic chimney (for the electrical connection, follow all the other instructions on the “Warnings” sheet).
2.Fixing to the wall: Draw a line on the wall in vertical line with your hob. Mark the first 4 holes (ø 8 mm) to be drilled in the wall, respecting the distances indicated in Fig.6. Drill the holes and fit the screw anchors provided. As already specified on the “Warnings” sheet, bear in mind that the distance between the lower edge of the hood and the hob must be min. 650 mm.
3.Flange assembly: According to the model you purchased, proceed as follows:
- flange assembly ø125 mm (fig.7): make the 3 locks coincide with the 3 buttonholes and rotate the flange.
-flange assembly ø 150 mm (fig.8): set the flange over the motor air grilles and press slightly.
4.Securing the telescopic flue: Place bracket (W) 50 mm from the ceiling and position this on the vertical of your hood, with the aid of the notches on the centre of the bracket (Fig.9); using a pen, mark the 2 holes on the wall and then make the holes and fit the screw anchors provided and proceed to secure the bracket using the 2 screws (provided).
Take 2 assembled flues and place these on the upper surface of the hood. Raise the upper flue as far as the ceiling and secure it to the bracket using the 2 screws (Fig.10).
INSTALLATION IN FILTERING VERSION: Prepare the power supply within the telescopic flues (for the electrical connection, follow all the other instructions on the “Warnings” sheet).
Fixing to the wall: for fixing to the wall refer to the instructions for the ducting version (see points 2, 3), then continue with the instructions below.
Securing the telescopic flue: Place bracket (W) 50 mm from the ceiling and position this on the vertical of your hood, with the aid of the notches on the centre of the bracket (Fig.9); using a pen, mark the 2 holes on the wall and then make the holes and fit the screw anchors provided and proceed to secure the bracket using the 2 screws (provided). Fasten the air baffle to the lower flue as shown in Figure 11, using the 2 screws. Take 2 assembled flues and place these on the upper surface of the hood. Raise the upper flue as far as the ceiling and secure it to the bracket using the 2 screws (Fig.10).
Charcoal filters assembly: In the filtering version it is necessary to use the charcoal filters, verify if they are already installed, otherwise proceed as follows according to the filter type:
-round charcoal filters(Fig.12): set the filter on the left side of the motor and peg the two pivots rotating in the anticlockwise direction.
-rectangular charcoal filters (Fig.13): insert the 2 filters in the band and stop them assembling the other band (S) and the pivot (P).
-panel type charcoal filter (Fig.14A): take the metallic shelf (or metallic filters), remove the filters clamp “M” and insert the panel charcoal filter. Reinsert the filters clamp to stop the filter.

OPERATION
Depending on the model, the unit is equipped with the following controls:
Controls shown in Fig.15: Button A = light switch. Button B = first speed motor ON/OFF switch. Button C = second speed switch. Button D = third speed switch. E = motor on light.
Controls shown in Fig.16: A = Light switch; position 0: light off; position 1: light on. B = Motor switch; position 0: motor off; position 1-2-3: motor on at speed I, II and III. C = Motor pilot lamp.
Grease filter/s: Depending on the version, the hood features different types of grease filters:
Modular metal filters (of the type shown in Fig.17 and 18): these are metal filters and must be periodically cleaned, depending on extent of operation (at least every two months). Wash the filters with neutral detergent. To remove the filters (Fig.3/4), adjust the retainer and push these towards the back of the unit, turning them downwards until they are disengaged from the supports.
Panel type metal filter (as shown in Fig.19N): this is a metal filter and is positioned inside the metal grid; the filter must be periodically cleaned, depending on extent of operation (at least every two months). Wash the filter with neutral detergent. To remove the filter, first of all remove the metal grid (Fig.5); subsequently remove the two filter retainers inside the metal grid and remove the panel type metal filter.
Panel type synthetic filter (as shown in Fig.20P): this filter is made of white synthetic fibres and is located inside the metal grid; it cannot be cleaned, but must be replaced from time to time according to use (at least every two months). To remove the filter, first of all remove the metal grill (Fig.5); next, remove the two filter retainers inside the metal grill and remove the panel type synthetic filter.
Charcoal filter/s: the charcoal filters must be periodically replaced depending on extent of operation - on average every 6 months. To remove the charcoal filters, proceed as follows, depending on the model purchased:
-if the hood features round charcoal filters (Fig.21R), remove the charcoal filter by turning clockwise.
-if the hood features a panel type charcoal filter (Fig.14A), remove the charcoal filter by first of all removing the filter retainers M.
-if the hood features the rectangular charcoal filters (Fig.22) remove the filters unscrewing the Knob (P) and removing the band (S). Thread the filters from their side.
Lighting : to replace the incandescent lamps, remove the ceiling light fixture unscrewing the lock screw (Fig.23). Replace with lamps of the same type.
To replace the halogen lamps, screw the metal ring in the anti - clockwise direction and remove the lamp. Replace with lamps of the same kind. (Fig.24).

Die Haube steht in Umluftversion und in Abluftversion zur Verfügung.
Umluftversion (Abb.1): Die Haube saugt die mit Rauch und Gerüchen gesättigte Luft an und reinigt sie durch die Fettund die Kohlefilter. Danach wird die saubere Luft wieder in den Raum geleitet. Um die gleichmäßige Wirksamkeit der Kohlefilter zu erhalten, müssen sie regelmäßig ausgetauscht werden. Die Kohlefilter werden nicht mitgeliefert.
Abluftversion (Abb.2): Die Haube saugt die mit Rauch und Gerüchen gesättigte Luft an, leitet sie durch die Fettfilter und gibt sie über ein Abführungsrohr nach außen ab. Diese Version benötigt keinen Kohlefilter.
Entscheiden Sie sich von Anfang an für einen Installationstyp (Umluft oder Abluft). Um eine größere Wirkung zu erzielen, empfehlen wir die Installation einer Haube in Abluftversion (falls möglich).
INSTALLATION
ACHTUNG: Für die Montage sind wenigstens 2 Personen erforderlich. Es wird empfohlen, die Montage von
Fachkräften durchführen zu lassen.
Vor Installation sind zur leichteren Handhabung des Geräts die Fettfilter zu entfernen.
1. Entfernung der Fettfilter (Nehmen Sie je nach dem von Ihnen erworbenen Modell auf die Abbildung 3, 4 oder 5 Bezug):

Abb.5: Die beiden Feststeller nach der Innenseite des Geräts drücken und das Metallgitter entfernen, indem man es leicht schräg stellt.
INSTALLATION DER ABLUFTVERSION: Vor der Befestigung muss das Rohr zur Abführung der Luft außen angebracht werden. Ein Abführungsrohr verwenden, das folgende Eigenschaften besitzt: - erforderliche Mindestlänge;
-so wenig Kurven wie möglich (maximale Kurvenkrümmung: 90°); - zulässiges Material (Landesnormen); - Innenseite so glatt wie möglich. Es wird außerdem empfohlen, starke Wechsel des Rohrdurchmessers zu vermeiden (wir empfehlen ein Rohr mit einem Durchmesser von 125 mm für die Modelle K18E1 e K19E1; für die Modelle K18S1 e K18S1 empfehlen wir dagegen ein Rohr mit einem Durchmesser von 150 mm. Für die Art des Modells beziehen Sie sich bitte auf das technische Schild im Innern des Apparats).
Für die Luftabführung nach außen alle weiteren Angaben im Blatt “Hinweise” befolgen. Die Stromzufuhr innerhalb des vom dekorativen Rohr benötigten Raums vorbereiten (für den elektrischen Anschluss alle weiteren im Blatt “Hinweise” aufgeführten Angaben befolgen).
2.Befestigung an der Wand: Zeichnen Sie eine Linie auf die Wand, vertikal zu Ihrem Kochfeld. Markieren Sie die ersten 4 (ø 8 mm) anzubringenden Löcher auf der Wand, dabei sind die in Abb.6 angegebenen Maße zu beachten. Die Bohrungen ausführen und die (mitgelieferten) Dübel einstecken. Wie bereits im Blatt “Hinweise” beschrieben, ist darauf zu achten, dass der Abstand zwischen dem unteren Rand der Haube und der Kochfläche mindestens 650 mm betragen muss.
3.Montage des Flanschs: Je nach dem von Ihnen erworbenen Modell wie folgt vorgehen:
-Montage Flansch ø125 mm (Abb.7): die 3 Feststeller mit den 3 Schlitzen zusammentreffen lassen und den Flansch drehen.
-Montage Flansch ø 150 mm (Abb.8): den Flansch über dem Luftauslass des Motors positionieren und einen leichten Druck ausüben.
4.Befestigung der Teleskoprohre: Positionieren Sie die Halterung (W) 50 mm von der Decke entfernt, vertikal oberhalb der Haube unter Zuhilfenahme der Schlitze in der Mitte der Halterung (Abb.9). Markieren Sie mit einem Filzstift die beiden Bohrlöcher an der Wand. Führen Sie die Bohrungen aus und stecken Sie die mitgelieferten Dübel in die Bohrlöcher. Befestigen Sie die Halterung mit den beiden mitgelieferten Schrauben. Legen Sie die beiden vormontierten Rohre auf den vorderen Teil der Haube. Heben Sie das obere Rohr bis zur Decke an und bestigen Sie es mittels 2 Schrauben an der Halterung (Abb.10).
INSTALLATION DER UMLUFTVERSION: Die Stromzufuhr innerhalb des vom dekorativen Rohr benötigten Raums vorbereiten (für den elektrischen Anschluss alle weiteren im Blatt “Hinweise” aufgeführten Angaben befolgen).
Wandbefestigung: für die Wandbefestigung die Anleitung für die Abluftversion hinzuziehen (siehe Punkt 2 und 3), dann gemäß der unten aufgeführten Anweisungen fortfahren.
Befestigung der Teleskoprohre: Positionieren Sie die Halterung (W) 50 mm von der Decke entfernt, vertikal oberhalb der Haube unter Zuhilfenahme der Schlitze in der Mitte der Halterung (Abb.9). Markieren Sie mit einem Filzstift die beiden Bohrlöcher an der Wand. Führen Sie die Bohrungen aus und stecken Sie die mitgelieferten Dübel in die Bohrlöcher. Befestigen Sie die Halterung mit den beiden mitgelieferten Schrauben.
Befestigen Sie das Ableitblech an dem unteren Rohr wie in Abbildung 11 gezeigt. Benutzen Sie hierzu 2 Schrauben.
Legen Sie die beiden vormontierten Rohre auf den vorderen Teil der Haube. Heben Sie das obere Rohr bis

zur Decke an und bestigen Sie es mittels 2 Schrauben an der Halterung (Abb.10).
Montage der Kohlefilter: In der filternden Ausführung ist die Verwendung von Kohlefiltern notwendig; überprüfen, ob sie bereits installiert sind, eventuell je nach Filtertyp wie folgt vorgehen:
-runder Kohlefilter (Abb.12): den Filter an der linken Seite des Motors positionieren und die beiden Stifte einhaken, indem man ihn gegen den Uhrzeigersinn dreht.
-rechteckige Kohlefilter (Abb.13): die beiden Filter in den Bügel stecken und durch Montieren des anderen Bügels
(S) und des Stifts blockieren (P).
-Kohlefilterpaneel (Abb.14A): das Metallgitter (oder die Metallfilter) nehmen, die Filterhalter “M” entfernen und das Kohlefilterpaneel einsetzen. Die Filterhalter wieder einsetzen, um den Filter zu blockieren.
FUNKTIONSWEISE
Je nach Version ist das Gerät mit folgenden Bedienung ausgestattet:
Bedienung gemäß Abb.15: Taste A: Beleuchtung. Taste B: Ein- (erste Betriebstufe), AusSchalter. Taste C: zweite Betriebstufe. Taste D: dritte Betriebstufe. E: Motorkontrolleuchte.
Bedienung gemäß Abb.16: A = Schalter für die Beleuchtung; Stellung 0: Beleuchtung aus; Stellung 1: Beleuchtung ein. B = Motorschalter; Stellung 0: Motor aus; Stellung 1-2-3: erste, zweite und dritte Schaltstufe. C = Led Motorbetrieb.
Fettfilter: Je nach Version wird die Haube mit verschiedenen Fettfiltern geliefert:
Metallfiltermodule (wie in Abb.17 und 18 gezeigt): diese Filter bestehen aus Metall und sind je nach Benutzung periodisch zu reinigen (wenigstens alle zwei Monate). Den Filter mit neutralem Reinigungsmittel abwaschen. Zum Entfernen der Filter (Abb.3/4), diese mit dem Anschlag zur Geräterückseite schieben und nach unten drehen, bis sie sich aus ihren Haltern lösen.
Metallfilterpaneele (wie in Abb.19N gezeigt): dieser aus Metall bestehende Filter befindet sich im Innern des Metallgitters und ist je nach Benutzung periodisch (wenigstens alle zwei Monate) zu reinigen. Den Filter mit neutralem Reinigungsmittel abwaschen. Zum Entfernen der Metallfilter, das Metallgitter abnehmen (Abb.5); anschließend die 2 im Innern des Metallgitters befindlichen Filterhalter entfernen und Metallfilterpaneel abnehmen. Synthetikfilterpaneel (wie in Abb.20P gezeigt): dieser aus weißer Synthetikfaser bestehende Filter befindet sich im Innern des Metallgitters und ist je nach Benutzung periodisch (wenigstens alle zwei Monate) zu ersetzen. Zum Entfernen der Filter, das Metallgitter abnehmen (Abb.5); anschließend die 2 im Innern des Metallgitters befindlichen Filterhalter entfernen und Synthetikfilterpaneel herausnehmen.
Kohlefilter: Die Kohlefilter je nach Benutzung ersetzen; in der Regel alle 6 Monate. Zum Entfernen der Kohlefilter, wie folgt vorgehen, je nach dem von Ihnen erworbenen Modell:
-wenn die Haube mit runden Kohlefiltern ausgestattet ist (Abb.21R), entfernen Sie den Kohlefilter durch Drehen derselben im Uhrzeigersinn.
-wenn die Haube mit einem Kohlefilterpaneel (Abb.14A) ausgestattet ist, ist der Kohlefilter durch vorheriges
Entfernen der Filterhalter M herauszunehmen.
-wenn die Haube mit rechteckigen Kohlefiltern ausgestattet ist (Abb.22), entfernen Sie die Filter durch Herausdrehen des Knopfs (P) und Entfernen des Bügels (S). Die Filter aus ihrem Sitz herausziehen.
Beleuchtung: zum Auswechseln der Glühlampen die Deckenleuchte durch Lösen der Feststellschrauben entfernen (Abb.23). Durch Lampen desselben Typs ersetzen.
Zum Auswechseln der Halogenlampen den Ring gegen den Uhrzeigersinn aufdrehen und die Lampe herausnehmen. Durch Lampen desselben Typs ersetzen (Abb.24).

DESCRIPTION
Cette hotte peut être en version recyclage ou en version évacuation.
Version Recyclage (Fig.1): votre hotte aspire l’air de la cuisine imprégnée de fumée et d’odeurs, en l’épurant à travers les filtres à graisse ainsi qu’à travers le filtre à charbon pour le renvoyer dans la pièce, propre. Afin que votre hotte soit efficace d’une façon constante, il est nécessaire de remplacer le filtre à charbon périodiquement. Les filtres à charbon ne sont pas fournis.
Version évacuation (Fig.2): votre hotte aspire l’air de la cuisine imprégnée de fumée et d’odeurs, en le faisant passer à travers les filtres à graisse, puis en l’éliminant à l’extérieur à travers un tuyau d’évacuation. Dans cette version l’emploi du filtre à charbon n’est pas nécessaire.
Vous devez décider dès le début quel type d’installation vous voulez (recyclage ou évacuation). Afin d’avoir une hotte au rendement optimal, nous vous conseillons d’installer une hotte version évacuation (si cela est possible).
INSTALLATION
ATTENTION: Il faut au moins deux personnes pour monter cet appareil; il est conseillé de confier les opérations
d’installation à des spécialistes.
Avant de procéder aux opérations de montage, pour manoeuvrer plus aisément l’appareil, démontez les filtres à graisse.
1. Démontage des filtres à graisse (voir la figure 3, 4 ou 5 selon le modèle que vous avez acheté): Fig.3-4: pousser le levier vers la partie postérieure de l’appareil et dévisser le filtre vers le bas.

INSTALLATION VERSION EVACUATION: Avant de commencer l’installation, il est nécessaire de prévoir le tuyau pour l’évacuation de l’air à l’extérieur. Employez un tuyau d’évacuation qui ait: - la longueur minimale indispensable;
-le moins de coudes et raccords possibles (angle maximum des coudes: 90°); - qui soit fait d’une matière approuvée par les normes en vigueur (suivant le pays); - sa surface intérieure la plus lisse possible. Nous vous conseillons aussi d’éviter les changements brusques de section du tuyau (nous conseillons un tube de 125 mm de diamètre pour les modèles K18E1 et K19E1; Pour les modèles K18S1 et K18S1 nous conseillons un tube de 150 mm de diamètre. Pour le type de modale se référer à la claque technique située à l’intérieur de l’appareil).
Pour l’évacuation de l’air à l’extérieur, suivez toutes les autres indications fournies par la feuille “Attention”. Prévoir l’alimentation électrique dans l’encombrement de la cheminée télescopique (pour le branchement électrique, suivre toutes les autres indications se trouvant sur la feuille “Attention”).
2.Fixation au mur: Tracez une ligne sur le mur, à la verticale de votre plan de cuisson. Tracez sur le mur les 4 premiers (ø 8 mm) trous que vous devrez percer, en respectant les mesures indiquées à la Fig.6; percez trous et y placez les 4 chevilles (fournies en équipement). Comme indiqué sur la feuille “Attention”, ne pas oublier que la distance entre le bord inférieur de la hotte et le plan de cuisson doit être au minimum de 650 mm.
3.Montage flange: Selon le modale acheté procéder ainsi:
-montage flange ø125 mm (fig.7): faire coincider les 3 leviers avec leurs 3 encastrements et faire pivoter la flange.
-montage flange ø 150 mm (fig.8): positionner la flange au-dessus de la bouche de sortie d’air du moteur et exercer une légère pression.
4.Fixation des tuyaux télescopiques: Posez le support (W) à 50 mm du plafond et placez-le à la verticale de votre hotte en vous aidant des encoches se trouvant au centre du support (Fig.9); a l’aide d’un crayon marquez les 2 trous sur la paroi, puis percez et introduisez les chevilles qui sont fournies en équipement et fixez le support en utilisant les 2 vis (fournies).
Prendre les 2 tuyaux ensemble et les poser sur la partie supérieure de la hotte. Soulevez le tuyau supérieur jusqu’au plafond et fixez-le au support à l’aide des 2 vis (Fig.10).
INSTALLATION VERSION RECYCLAGE: Prévoir l’alimentation électrique dans l’encombrement de la cheminée télescopique (pour le branchement électrique, suivre toutes les autres indications se trouvant sur la feuille “Attention”).
Fixation au mur: pour la fixation au mur voir les instructions pour la version évacuation (voir point 2, 3), puis continuer avec les instructions indiquées ci-après.
Fixation des tuyaux télescopiques: Posez le support (W) à 50 mm du plafond et placez-le à la verticale de votre hotte en vous aidant des encoches se trouvant au centre du support (Fig.9); a l’aide d’un crayon marquez les 2 trous sur la paroi, puis percez et introduisez les chevilles qui sont fournies en équipement et fixez le support en utilisant les 2 vis (fournies). Fixez le déflecteur d’air au tuyau inférieur comme indiqué à la Figure 11, en utilisant 2 vis.
Prendre les 2 tuyaux ensemble et les poser sur la partie supérieure de la hotte. Soulevez le tuyau supérieur jusqu’au plafond et fixez-le au support à l’aide des 2 vis (Fig.10).
Montage des filtre à charbon: Dans la version filtrante l’utilisation des filtres à charbon est nécessaire, vérifier s’ils sont déjà installés, éventuellement selon le type de filtre procéder ainsi:
-filtres à charbon rond (fig.12): positionner le filtre sur le côté gauche du moteur et accrocher les deux leviers en tournant dans le sens inverse des aiguiòlles d’une montre.
