Safety Information

1. All the safety and operating instructions should be read before the product is operated.

Functions
1. Connection to the Internet through wireless antenna.
2. Watching Internet-TV.
3. Listen to Internet-Radio.
4. As a weather station with 7 days weather forecast.
5. Playback of media content (video, pictures and music).
6. As a speaker. The device can wirelessly connect to a Bluetooth device.
7. As a digital photo frame. The device is used for showing images via USB / SD card or online photo portals.
8. For video conferencing. The device has a front camera and a built in microphone.
9. To read and write e-mail.
10. The device offers access to over 875,000 applications of the Android Google Play Market.
Notes:
1. Don´t connect the device with unprotected private networks. This is illegal and can be punished by law.
2. Use the product only with an internet flat rate, or you could unexpectedly high telephone costs.
3. The apparatus is designed for use in private homes.
Antenna
This device contains an internal antenna for a local network. The effective radiated power corre­sponds to the IEEE 802.11 b/g/n standard.
USB Port
The USB port is suitable for connecting USB peripherals, and USB mass storage.

Safety Information
Power Supply
1. Never touch the plug with wet hands.
2. If you want to pull the plug out of the plug socket, always pull directly on the plug. Never pull on the cable as it could tear.
3. Make sure that the power cable is not bent, caught or run over and that it does not come into contact with heat sources.
4. Make sure that the power cable is not wound around the device while in operation.
5. Never place the machine on the power cable while it is being operated.
6. Only use extension cables that are designed for the power consumption level of the machine.
7. Keep the appliance away from rain and any moisture.
8. Only operate the machine if the electrical voltage stated on the type plate beneath the ma­chine agrees with the voltage on your plug socket. The wrong voltage can destroy the ma­chine.
9. Do not stand vases etc. on the appliance.
10. Water could seep into the appliance.
11. Do not open the appliance.
12. Pull out the mains plug if the appliance is not to be used over a longer period of time.
13. Take care that nobody can trip over the power supply cable.
Operation and Position
1. Do not connect accessories on the device which are not defined by the manufacture.
2. Do not place this product on an unstable cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table. The product may fall, causing serious injury to a child or adult, and serious damage to the product. Use only with a cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table recommended by the manufacturer, or sold with the product.
3. Any mounting of the product should follow the manufacturer's instructions, and should use a mounting accessory recommended by the manufacturer.
4. A product and cart combination should be moved with care. Quick stops, excessive force, and uneven surfaces may cause the product and cart combination to overturn.
5. Do not increase the volume when the device is just playing very quiet sections. This cold damage the speaker if very loud passages starts all of a sudden after the quiet section.
6. Switch the device off by the Off/On switch if it is not going to used for a longer period of time.
7. Disconnect the main plug during thunderstorms.
8. Slots and openings in the cabinet are provided for ventilation and to ensure reliable operation of the product and to protect it from overheating, and these openings must not be blocked or covered.
9. The openings should never be blocked by placing the product on a bed, sofa, rug, or other similar surface.
10. This product should not be placed in a built-in installation such as a bookcase or rack unless proper ventilation is provided or the manufacturer's instructions have been adhered to.
11. Protect the device against weather influences, moistures and high temperature.
12. Never spill liquid of any kind on the product.
13. Do not expose the device and the remote control to direct sunlight.
14. If an outside antenna or cable system is connected to the product, be sure the antenna or cable system is grounded so as to provide some protection against voltage surges and built­up static charges.

Safety Information
Compatibility of the integrated Card Reader
1. SD card support up to 2 GB. Unfortunately, there are a number of different SD cards and can not all be supported.
2. SDHC cards are supported up to 32 GB. Unfortunately, there are a variety of different SDHC cards and not all can be supported.
3. Only FAT 32 will be supported correctly.
Recycling of electronic devices
This product is designed and manufactured with high quality materials and components which can be recycled and reused. This symbol means that electrical and electronic equipment, at their end-of-life, should be disposed of separately from your household waste. Please, dispose of this equipment at your local community waste collection/recycling cen­tre. In the European Union there are separate collection systems for used electrical and electronic product. Please, help us to conserve the environment we live in!
Recycling of paper and carton
The material recycling symbol on the carton and user manual denotes that they are recy­clable. Dispose them not with the normal household waste.

Notes
Defect
1. Servicing - Do not attempt to service this product yourself as opening or removing covers may expose you to dangerous voltage or other hazards. Refer all servicing to qualified ser­vice personnel.
2. Damage Requiring Service - Unplug this product from the wall outlet and refer servicing to qualified service personnel under the following conditions: a. When the power-supply cord or plug is damaged. b. If liquid has been spilled, or objects have fallen into the product. c. If the product has been exposed to rain or water. d. If the product does not operate normally by following the operating instructions. Ad­just only those controls that are covered by the operating instructions as an improper adjust­ment of other controls may result in damage and will often require extensive work by a quali­fied technician to restore the product to its normal operation. e. If the product has been dropped or damaged in any way, and

You can Xoro HMT 390 connect to computer to transfer data between the device and the PC. The device is recognized by your computer as a USB mass storage device. The device must be switched on for it!
1. Connect the device via included USB connection cable to the computer
2. The following window appears on the screen of Xoro HMT390
3. Tap "Turn on USB storage" button. Your computer will recognize the Xoro HMT390 as USB mass storage device and you can transfer data between devices replace it.
4. To stop the data exchange with the device, tap the "USB Disable memory "and
remove the USB cable.
While the access to the computer to the internal memory of the device may not be all of the system functions. To use the device properly disable the PC connection!

Quick Guide
Startup
Press and hold the power button for several seconds. The system is started as soon as the Xoro logo or Android operating system logo appears on the display.
Shutdown
Press and hold the power button until the window is shutdown displayed for a few seconds. Confirm the operation by pressing the OK button on the screen.
StandBy
Press the power button briefly to turn the unit into the standby mode and the operating mode to enable.
1. On the main menu tap on the icon "Settings".
2. Tap the menu item "Wi-Fi" on the slider to "ON" appears. Now, the unit automatically searches for available WLAN networks in the area.

The Xoro HMT 390 comes standard with the Xoro HMT Main Menu (see page 13). But you can also use the Android main menu, as you would expect from your Android devices. All system functions and applications are also available with this menu.
To activate the Android menu, proceed as follows:
1. Go into the settings menu by tapping the icon "Settings". This is in Xoro HMT Laun-cher in the options. You get there by tapping on this icon in the options bar.
2. Scroll to the left to select "DEVICE" menu and tap the "Apps". The top right corner, go to
the column "All" and scroll down the list to the entry "XORO HMT".

Confirm the following message with "OK"
By default, the Home button is associated with the XORO HMT main menu. Once you have set the standard Android main menu, you are asked when you press the Home button, which menu you want to use in the future and whether this will be done once or forever. Make the selection according to your desire to continue.
If you have set the android main menu permanently, you can change by clicking on the icon on the main menu at any time to XORO HMT menu.

For the use of XORO HMT 390 a working Internet connection is required, as described on page 10th
When you turn the unit you will be asked for the serial number of the device. Enter the 16-digit software code, which is located on bottom of the base and confirm the entry with "OK". The device will now be synchronized to retrieve, for example, weather information and the Launcher is started with the server.

Quick Guide
At the top of the screen in the main menu, you can view the latest weather information of your city. The nearest major town is automatically calculated based on their IP address on the Internet. If the device can not determine their city, the weather, the capital of their country is displayed automatically.
Do you want to get detailed weather information for the location you tap this icon to enter the information again and this icon to close the window again.
To add another city manually, press for 3 seconds on the city names already registered. The unit will now establish a connection to an Internet server.

Deinstall Applications
Install Applications manually
1. Go into the settings menu by tapping the icon "Settings", this is located in XORO HMT Laun­ cher in the options. You get there by tapping on this icon in the options bar.

Now put under the menu item "Security" a hook behind the "Unknown Sources"
3. Copy the installation file in apk format to an SD card or via USB to Flash Memory of the device and install the application manually as described below with the ApkInstaller or from any file manager.
Set out as described above in the "Settings" menu and tap the menu item "Device" "Apps" option. Now you will see a list of downloaded applications and can view more information by clicking on the application. Now select to remove "Uninstall" to the program of their device.
With the "ApkInstaller" You can manage applications on the XORO HMT If you use the XORO HMT Launcher, you may need add this app to your main menu to see it (see page 16).

Use the Device as a digital Photo Frame
You can use the XORO HMT as a digital picture frame. To do this, click the icon „Picture“ in the upper right corner of your XORO HMT launcher.
You can now select which are located on the device for the slide show pictures by touching the menu item "Local storage pictures". From the episode ends, the desired directory on the device by tapping on.
Click on this icon if you want to see images from the current directory.
Click on this icon if you want to see images from all directories.

Quick Guide
With the "i-Radio" application, you can access over 15,000 internet radio stations worldwide. To use the app you need an Internet connection. Tap to start the main menu on this icon and launch the application.
Here you can choose in 7 categories by swiping your finger horizontally across the screen. Tap the desired icon to switch into the category and make it more selection by pressing the desired key until the desired channel before loading.
To search for a radio station, tap the icon in the options bar. Here you can make in addition to the search function also additional settings for these applications.

You can view images as a slideshow during playback of the radio program. To use this feature, tap on the "Picture" icon in the upper right screen corner and select the desired location. You can

You can use your device as a Bluetooth Speaker to listen music from external devices like smartphone or tablet PC . To enable this feature, tap the Launcher Xoro HMT 390 this icon and select the menu item "Setting"
Now disable the "Wi-Fi" option and set the "Bluetooth" function by tapping on the slider. Once Bluetooth is enabled HMT 390 should be on your external devices as "BT Audio" visible. Make the following is a connection between the devices forth. If you have connection problems use the instructions of the external device.
Once you activate the Bluetooth function in the future on the Xoro HMT 390, you can use the device as a Bluetooth speakers.

You have the option to save the contents of the screen as a photo while Xoro HMT 390. If you want to use this function, proceed as follows:
1. Go into the settings menu by tapping the icon "Settings", this is located in Xoro HMT 390 Launcher in the options. You get there by tapping on this icon in the options bar.
2. Tap the "Device" menu on the menu "Settings screenshot". You can now click on the right side by setting the checkmark determine where the screen shots are saved and in which t imeframe the screenshot should be created.
3. By placing a check mark in the last option, a photo icon is permanently displayed in the opti ons bar and created by touching a screen shot in the predefined location in the setting menu.

Factory Reset
Sometimes it may be necessary to the device to its factory settings (Factory Reset) to reset, for example if you want to sell the device or it no longer works correctly.
1. Go into the settings menu by tapping the icon "Settings", this is located in Xoro XORO HMT Launcher in the options. You get there by tapping on this icon in the options bar.
2. Scroll to the left until the menu item "USER" and tap the sub-menu "Backup & reset". Here you have the possibility your data and content on the Internet to secure an option to enforce the check. For this feature you need a Google account.
3. Now tap on the right side on the option "Factory data reset"
4. Tap "Reset tablet" in order to delete all personal data on the device and set back the device to its factory condition.

Internet TV
On your XORO HMT 390 Internet TV is a preinstalled application for most German TV channels. To see the program you need a stable internet connection.
There are many other German Internet TV applications (Zattoo Live TV) that you can install from the Google Play Store on the device (see page 14).
A Spanish application is also pre-installed, but XORO HMT Launcher not visible. This can be, however, as described on page 14, make it visible and usable in the main menu.
Depending on the system configuration, it may happen that the Xoro HMT 390 a lock screen on the screen indicates when the unit has not been used for a while in operation or is turned on from sleep mode.
You can unlock by touching or right-drag the circle.

MediaHouse
With UPnP and DLNA-browser "Media House" you can stream music, movies and images wirelessly directly from your PC or network hard drive. The app automatically searches for the start of compatible media servers in your network environment. Touch of a finger you can access your shared files. Music and photos will be played directly in the application. Has a video player "Media House" not on board, here attacks the application back to external applications.

With the new H / W decoder more videos can benefit from hardware acceleration. MX Player is the first Android video player that performs multi-core decoding. The player provides easy in and out by pinching the fingers on the screen. By scrolling the subtitle text is the playback position adjusted to match the previous or next subtitle timing in. Install Zattoo Live TV application on the HMT 390
To manually install the application on your device, go to the browser on the device following website:

Now click the green download button on the website:
The installation file required is then automatically downloaded to your device and can be installed by double-tapping. You may need to allow the device before installing their own applications. The system settings required for this can be found in your manual on page 17

Install Zattoo Live TV application on HMT 390
If you use the Xoro Launcher, you must add the installed application manually to your desktop. Read the instructions on page 15 of the user manual. After starting the application, you need to register once for free or log in with your existing account:

Troubleshooting
Problem Solution Device does not turn
on
Check whether the power adapter is properly connected to the power outlet.
Check if the cable of the power supply is properly connected to the device.
Pull the plug out, wait 1 minute and then plug the connector back on.
No Sound
Check to see if mute is activated in the volume control (mute)
Turn up the volume until you hear the sound
No internet connection
Check if the wireless router is working properly.
Check whether the parameters on Xoro XORO HMT are correct. Take
for example on the DHCP setting.
Run the automatic search for networks again.
Enter the correct password (This is set in the router configuration).
Choose any foreign networks.
The Internet server is temporarily unavailable or may be overloaded.
Time and Date are wrong
Check the settings for the time zone and insert it again.
The current i-Radio show can not be stopped
If necessary, tap on the "i-Radio" icon to start the application. Tap the top right of "Now Playing". There you will find below a stop button (see page 20)

In case the products delivered are not free from defects in material or workmanship, MAS Elec­tronic AG has the right to either repair or replace the defective product at its choice. MAS Elec­tronic AG manufactures and repairs goods using components which are new or equivalent to new in accordance with industry standards and practice. The warranty for wearing parts (e.g. re­chargeable batteries) is limited to 6 months.
