Utilisation conforme

Cet appareil vous permet de connecter trois appareils source (par

ex. un récepteur satellite, un lecteur Blu-ray ou une caméra HD) avec
un port HDMI de votre téléviseur ou de votre vidéo-projecteur. Avec
l'appareil, il n'est pas possible de répartir un appareil source sur trois
appareils de sortie, étant donné que seul un périphérique de sortie
peut être raccordé. Cet appareil est exclusivement destiné à l'usage
non commercial. Toute utilisation autre ou dépassant ce cadre est
considérée comme non conforme. Aucune réclamation pour des
dommages résultant d'un usage non conforme ne sera prise en
considération. Seul l'utilisateur assume le risque.

Ce chapitre contient des consignes de sécurité importantes se rap­portant à la manipulation de l'appareil. Cet appareil est conforme
aux consignes de sécurité prescrites. Tout usage non conforme peut

garantir une utilisation en toute sécurité de l'appareil :

■ Avant l'usage de l'appareil, vérifi ez si celui-ci ne comporte aucun

dommage extérieur visible. Ne mettez pas en service un appareil
endommagé ou qui a chuté.

■ En cas de dommages sur les câbles ou les raccordements, faites-les

remplacer par le service après-vente.

■ Saisissez toujours le câble de raccordement au niveau de la fi che.

Ne tirez pas sur le câble en tant que tel et ne saisissez jamais le
câble de raccordement avec des mains mouillées, dans la mesure
où ceci peut entraîner un court-circuit ou un choc électrique.

■ Ne posez pas d'objets, de meubles ou assimilés sur le câble de

raccordement et veillez à ce qu'il ne soit pas coincé.

être placé de manière à éviter que quelqu'un marche dessus.

avec l'appareil.

■ Toute réparation de l'appareil pendant la période de garantie

doit être confi ée exclusivement à un service après-vente agréé
par le fabricant, sinon tout dommage ultérieur n'est pas couvert
par la garantie.

■ Les pièces défectueuses doivent être remplacées impérativement par

des pièces de rechange d'origine. Seules ces pièces garantissent
en eff et que les critères de sécurité sont satisfaits.

■ Ne procédez pas à des transformations ou des modifi cations sur

l'appareil de votre propre initiative.

■ N'utilisez pas l'appareil à proximité de fl ammes ouvertes.

■ Protégez l'appareil de l'humidité et de la pénétration de liquides.

Fournitures d'origine et inspection après transport

L'appareil est fourni de manière standard avec les composants
suivants :

Vérifi ez si la livraison est bien complète et ne présente aucun

dommage apparent.

► En cas de livraison incomplète, de dommages résultant d'un

emballage défectueux ou du transport, veuillez vous adresser
au service après-vente (cf. chapitre Service après-vente).

Élimination de l'emballage

L'emballage protège l'appareil de tous dommages éventuels au
cours du transport. Les matériaux d'emballage ont été sélectionnés
selon des critères de respect de l'environnement et de recyclage
permettant une élimination écologique de ceux-ci.

Le retour de l'emballage dans le cycle des matériaux permet
d'économiser les matières premières et réduit la formation
de déchets. Veuillez éliminer les matériaux d'emballage
qui ne servent plus selon la réglementation locale.

Dans la mesure du possible, conservez l'emballage d'origine

Exigences au lieu d'installation

Pour assurer l'opération sûre et sans défaillances de l'appareil, le lieu
d'installation doit répondre aux conditions suivantes :

■ L'appareil doit être installé sur une surface solide, plate et horizontale.

■ Ne pas installer l'appareil dans un environnement chaud, humide

ou à proximité de matériaux infl ammables.

■ Installez l'appareil de telle manière qu'il ne soit pas directement

exposé aux rayons du soleil.

■ Ne placez pas l'appareil à proximité immédiate de champs

magnétiques (tels que haut-parleurs).

Utilisation et fonctionnement

Ce chapitre contient des remarques importantes sur l'utilisation et le
fonctionnement de l'appareil.

Raccorder le commutateur HDMI

♦ Connectez le câble de raccordement HDMI à votre péri-

phérique de sortie (par ex. téléviseur ou vidéo-projecteur).

♦ Connectez vos appareils source (par ex. récepteur satellite,

lecteur DVD ou console de jeu) aux prises d'entrée HDMI 4.
Utilisez un câble de raccordement HDMI High Speed pour
recevoir une qualité optimale d'image et de son.

REMARQUE

Si vous raccordez un appareil source avec des contenus 3D

(par ex. lecteur Blu-ray) au commutateur HDMI, utilisez exclusive­ment un câble de raccordement HDMI High Speed.

Utiliser le commutateur HDMI

♦ Allumez votre périphérique de sortie (par ex. téléviseur ou

vidéo-projecteur) et activez l'entrée HDMI à laquelle le com­mutateur HDMI est raccordé. Respectez à ce sujet la notice
d'utilisation du périphérique de sortie.

♦ Allumez l'appareil source que vous souhaitez utiliser. Le commu-

tateur HDMI bascule à présent automatiquement sur le canal
correspondant. Le canal réglé (1, 2 ou 3) est affi ché par la
LED du canal 2 correspondante.

♦ Appuyez sur le bouton SELECT 3 pour sélectionner un canal

manuellement. À chaque fois que vous appuyez sur le bouton
SELECT, le canal passe à l'appareil source allumé suivant dans
l'ordre décroissant.

REMARQUE

Si un appareil source est éteint, le commutateur HDMI passe

►

automatiquement à l'appareil source allumé suivant dans
l'ordre décroissant

► Quelques appareils source émettent également un signal

en mode veille sur la sortie HDMI. Par conséquent, il peut
arriver que la commutation automatique ne soit pas toujours
eff ectuée. Dans ce cas, changez le canal manuellement.

Nettoyage

humide et un détergent doux.

Entreposer l'appareil dans un endroit à l'abri de l'humidité.

Mise au rebut de l'appareil

L'appareil ne doit jamais être jeté avec les
ordures ménagères normales. Ce produit est
assujetti à la directive européenne 2002/96/EC
WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment).

Éliminez l'appareil par l'intermédiaire d'une entreprise

Dieses Gerät ermöglicht es Ihnen, drei Quellgeräte (z.B. SAT-Receiver,
Blu-ray-Player oder HD-Kamera) mit einem HDMI-Anschluss Ihres

Fernsehers bzw. Beamers zu verbinden. Mit dem Gerät ist es nicht

möglich, ein Quellgerät auf drei Ausgabegeräte zu verteilen, da nur

ein Ausgabegerät angeschlossen werden kann. Dieses Gerät ist
ausschließlich für den nicht gewerblichen Gebrauch vorgesehen.
Eine andere oder darüber hinausgehende Benutzung gilt als nicht
bestimmungsgemäß. Ansprüche jeglicher Art wegen Schäden aus
nicht bestimmungsgemäßer Verwendung sind ausgeschlossen. Das

♦ Schalten Sie Ihr Ausgabegerät (z.B. Fernseher oder Beamer)

ein und aktivieren Sie den HDMI-Eingang, an welchen der
HDMI-Umschalter angeschlossen ist. Beachten Sie hierzu die
Bedienungsanleitung des Ausgabegerätes.

♦ Schalten Sie Ihr Quellgerät, welches Sie verwenden möchten,

ein. Der HDMI-Umschalter wechselt nun automatisch auf den
entsprechenden Kanal. Der eingestellte Kanal (1, 2 oder 3)
wird durch die entsprechende Kanal-LED 2 angezeigt.

♦ Drücken Sie die Taste SELECT 3, um einen Kanal manuell aus-

zuwählen. Bei jedem Druck auf die Taste SELECT wechselt der
Kanal in absteigender Reihenfolge zum nächsten eingeschalte­tem Quellgerät.

This device allows you to connect three source devices (e.g. SAT
receiver, Blu-ray player or HD camera) with an HDMI connection
of your television or beamer. It is not possible to distribute a source
device to three output devices, since only one output device can be
connected. This device is exclusively intended for non-commercial use.

Using the HDMI changeover switch

♦ Switch your output device (e.g. television or beamer) on and

activate the HDMI input to which the HDMI changeover switch
is connected. To do this, follow the operating instructions for
the output device.

♦ Switch on the source device that you wish to use. The HDMI

changeover switch automatically changes over to the relevant
channel. The channel that has been selected (1, 2 or 3) is
indicated by the relevant channel LED 2.

♦ Press SELECT 3 to select a channel manually. Each press of

the SELECT button switches the channel to the next switched-on
source device in descending order.

NOTE

If a source device is switched off , the HDMI changeover

switch automatically switches to the next source device that
is switched on in descending order

► Some source devices also output a signal on the HDMI output

when they are in standby. It is therefore possible that the auto­matic changeover will not always take place. In this case a
manual changeover is required.
