Safety information
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
► Connect the appliance only to mains power sockets supplying a
mains power voltage of 220 – 240V∼, 50 Hz.
► Arrange for defective power plugs and/or cables to be replaced
as soon as possible by a qualified technician or by our Customer
Service Department to avoid the risk of injury.
► In event of operating malfunctions and before cleaning the
appliance, remove the power plug from the mains power socket.
► Always remove the power cable from the socket by pulling on the
plug, not on the power cable itself.
► Do not kink or crush the power cable, and route the cable so that it
cannot be stepped on or tripped over.
► Do not expose the appliance to humidity and do not use it outdoors.
If any liquid gets into the housing, disconnect the appliance from the
mains power socket immediately and have it repaired by a qualified
technician.
► Never handle the power cable or the power plug with wet hands.
► Do not open the appliance motor unit. This can lead to risks and
also invalidates the warranty.

Assembly
Use the diagrams on the fold-out page as a guide
for assembly!
1) Remove all packaging materials and any
stickers from the appliance.
2) Clean the appliance as described in the
section "Cleaning and Care".

Preparation
♦ Place the freezer bowl in the deep freeze
for about 24 hours at a temperature of no more
than –18 °C.
TIPS
► Make sure that the freezer bowl is com-
pletely dry before you place it in the freezer.
► Place a plastic bag, for instance a freezer
bag, in the freezer bowl before freezing.
► Keep the freezer bowl upright in the
freezer.
► Store the fruit, milk and cream in the refrigera-
tor before processing. This ensures that they
are already cold and thus the ice cream
mixture will not require so long to cool down
the ingredients.
♦ Puree the fruit with a hand blender and mix all
the ingredients as described in the recipe.
♦ Allow the mixture to cool down for approx.
4 hours.
Making ice cream
CAUTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► Start the appliance first and then add ingre-
dients. Otherwise, the ice mixture will freeze
onto the sides of the freezer bowl and
block the ice scraper . This will cause the
motor to overheat!
► Do not stop the appliance during processing!
Otherwise, the ice mixture will freeze onto
the sides of the freezer bowl and the ice
scraper will be blocked when you switch
the appliance back on. This will cause the
motor to overheat!
1) Remove the freezer bowl from the freezer.
2) Assemble the appliance as described in the
chapter titled "Assembly”.
3) Switch the appliance on by moving the On/
Off switch to the position I. The whisk
starts to turn.
4) Now, fill the prepared ice mixture into the
freezer bowl through the filling opening .
Ideally, use a bowl with a spout. Never add
more than 1000 ml. During processing, the
mixture increases in volume!
5) Allow the appliance to continue running until
you are satisfied with the consistency of the
mixture. The ice cream is ready after 40 minutes at the most.
6) Switch the appliance off at the On/Off switch
and pull the mains power plug out of the
socket.
7) Turn the lid until you can take it off.
8) Pull the ice scraper out of the ice cream.
If the ice cream sticks to it, scrape it off with a
plastic spoon or similar tool.

9) Remove the ice cream from the freezer bowl .
Use only plastic or wooden implements to do
this.
CAUTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► Do not use metal utensils to remove the ice
cream from the freezer bowl . They can
scratch the freezer bowl .
Cleaning and care
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
► Always remove the plug from the mains
power socket before you clean the appliance.
Ensure you never submerse the motor
unit in liquid, and never allow liquid
to enter the motor unit housing .
CAUTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► Do not use abrasive, chemical or caustic
cleaning agents to clean this appliance.
They can cause damage to the surfaces.
♦ If assembled, take the appliance apart to clean it.
– Turn the lid until you can take it off. – Pull the drive shaft out of the drive shaft
socket .
– Disconnect the ice scraper from the drive
shaft .
– Rotate the lid together with the motor
unit . Gently press the two catches which
project through the lid inwards and push
them out of the lid at the same time. The
motor unit will now detach from the lid .
♦ Clean the motor unit with a moist cloth after
every use. If there is heavy soiling, add mild
detergent to the cloth. Rinse detergent residues
off with clear water. Ensure that there are no
detergent residues on the appliance, and that the
appliance is completely dry before renewed use.
♦ Allow the freezer bowl to warm up to room
temperature before cleaning it.
Wash the freezer bowl , ice scraper , the
drive shaft and the lid in lukewarm water
with a little washing-up liquid. Afterwards, rinse
these parts with plenty of clean water to remove
all detergent residues.
NOTE
You can also wash the ice scraper ,
the drive shaft and the lid in your
dishwasher. Place the parts in the upper
dishwasher basket if possible and do not jam
them in.
♦ Ensure that all parts are completely dry before
re-use.
Storage
♦ Always clean the appliance thoroughly before
storing.
♦ Store the appliance in a clean, dry location.

Disposal
Never dispose of the appliance
in your normal domestic waste.
This product is subject to the
provisions of European
Directive 2012/19/EU.
Dispose of the appliance via an approved waste
disposal company or your municipal waste
disposal facility. Please comply with all applicable
regulations. Please contact your waste disposal
centre if you are in any doubt.
Your local community or municipal
authorities can provide information
on how to dispose of the worn-out
product.

Dear Customer,
This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from
the date of purchase. If this product has any faults,
you, the buyer, have certain statutory rights. Your
statutory rights are not restricted in any way by the
warranty described below.
Warranty conditions
The warranty period starts on the date of purchase.
Please keep your receipt in a safe place. This will
be required as proof of purchase.
If any material or manufacturing fault occurs within
three years of the date of purchase of the product,
we will either repair or replace the product for you
or refund the purchase price (at our discretion).
This warranty service requires that you present the
defective appliance and the proof of purchase (receipt) within the three-year warranty period, along
with a brief written description of the fault and of
when it occurred.
If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product will either be repaired or replaced by us. The
repair or replacement of a product does not signify
the beginning of a new warranty period.
Warranty period and statutory claims for
defects
The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs
effected under the warranty. This also applies to
replaced and repaired components. Any damage
and defects present at the time of purchase must
be reported immediately after unpacking. Repairs
carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall
be subject to a fee.

The warranty covers material faults or production
faults. The warranty does not extend to product
parts subject to normal wear and tear or to fragile
parts which could be considered as consumable
parts such as switches, batteries or parts made of
glass.
The warranty does not apply if the product has
been damaged, improperly used or improperly maintained. The directions in the operating
instructions for the product regarding proper use
of the product are to be strictly followed. Uses
and actions that are discouraged in the operating
instructions or which are warned against must be
avoided.
This product is intended solely for private use and
not for commercial purposes. The warranty shall
be deemed void in cases of misuse or improper
handling, use of force and modifications / repairs
which have not been carried out by one of our
authorised Service centres.
